When Mark and Joy Gall did not invite me to Jon Gall’s funeral, I called up Darian Fadeley and asked what was going on. She and Ed had not beeen invited either – and she did not know why!
At 5:10 AM I Googled Landmark Education Corporation, and found several reasons why the Galls did not like LLEC. Joy is a Christian Scientist, who kept Jon alive – way too long! When I went to visit Joy and Jon in the hospital, he looked me in the eyes with great distress…..

Darian suggested I go to the Landmark meeting where a special guest speaker from India would be there. I went, and was shocked to see members of my extended family were present. Nisha and Nate were my honorary children, because they were the Children of Marilyn Calkins-Reed, my first girlfriend. Their father, Jim Calkins, recognized my voice. I talked about this – miracle! Ed was there, and after the meeting asked me to join Landmark. When I said I was poor, he offered to pay for me. I told him this may conflict with SSI. He was amazed with the story of how I got sober.

Ed Fadely Has Passed
UPDATED: This story was updated with reaction from Fadeley’s family
Ed Fadeley, a longtime Oregon legislator and former state Supreme Court justice, died Sunday night after suffering a heart attack this month.
He was 85.
The Lane County Democrat spent 26 years in the Oregon Legislature, serving as Senate president when he tried to amend the state’s constitution to ban a statewide sales tax. He went on to spend nearly a decade on the state Supreme Court before stepping down amid controversy in 1998.
“He had a real core sense of who he was and what service meant to him in the world,” Shira Fadeley, 52, said of her father.
Family and friends remember Fadeley as a generous, thoughtful and caring man with a booming voice and a love of cigars who only quit smoking once it became illegal in public buildings.
Former legislative and judicial colleagues remembered Fadeley as a bright man with a strong political acumen who fiercely defended his liberal ideals but occasionally lacked people skills.
Later years of his career were punctuated by troubles. Shortly after winning a seat on the court in 1988, Fadeley’s fellow justices formally reprimanded him for violating campaign fundraising rules. Years later, he was accused of workplace misconduct, including sexual harassment.
“Along with all of his warts, and Ed had plenty of them, he served long and honorably,” said Jan Wyers, a legislative colleague.
Wally Carson, a Salem Republican who served as chief justice of the Oregon Supreme Court from 1991 to 2005, spent time across the aisle from Fadeley in the Legislature. At the time, Carson didn’t think much of Fadeley or know him personally. They also had different political views.
But, Carson said, once Fadeley joined the court, they became close.
“I thought the world of him and his wife,” Darian, Carson said.
Fadeley was born in Missouri, and from the age of 14 planned on becoming an attorney.
He attended the University of Missouri, then headed west and graduated from the University of Oregon Law School in 1957. Fadeley finished atop his class.
Fadely was elected to the Oregon House in 1960, serving for a time alongside his first wife, Nancie, a representative from Lane County. Their marriage ended in divorce.
Shira and her brother Charles grew up in Eugene, and she recalled occasionally being dropped off at elementary school on a tandem bicycle when the Legislature wasn’t in session.
Ed Fadeley joined the Oregon Senate in 1963 and was named Senate president in 1983. He lost the seat to John Kitzhaber two years later.
In 1986, he ran for governor, losing in the Democratic primary to Neil Goldschmidt.
Shira served as her father’s campaign manager during the gubernatorial race, and she recalled her father landing support from loggers and environmentalists. “It was neat to see people that weren’t all that involved politically, because here is a regular guy they think they can trust,” she said.
In 1988, he was elected to the state Supreme Court.
The veteran attorney and lawmaker was perhaps best known for his staunch opposition to a state sales tax. He lost a 1983 effort to put a ban in the constitution but scuttled other sales tax efforts.
He exhibited a go-it-alone style, often keeping his votes close to the vest until the eve of a hot-button vote.
Grattan Kerans, a fellow Lane County Democrat and former longtime House speaker, said Fadeley was a “brainy and complex person.”
“When he got something he wanted to have happen, he kept at it, regardless of the cost,” Kerans said. Conversely, he added, “he used all of his brainpower to prevent things that he disagreed with.” Kerans said that included the sales tax fight.
Ted Kulongoski, who served with Fadeley in the Legislature and on the Supreme Court before becoming governor, described Fadeley in 1997 as a “great poker player who never lets you peek at this cards.”
“What I’ve learned about him in the almost 30 years that I’ve known him is that he always has a plan,” Kulongoski said.
Kerans said that as Senate president, Fadeley at times shut out the rest of Legislature, including his own party. “He was not available to anybody, unless you had an overwhelmingly correct, in his opinion, case to make for a position on his bill.”
In 1995, a judicial assistant accused Fadeley of sexual harassment. Fadeley stepped down from the court in 1998 to fight throat cancer, relieving justices of having to discipline him.
At the time, Fadeley told a reporter for The Oregonian that he faced weeks of radiation and was not stepping down to evade the court’s punishment.
”I know what’s true and what isn’t,” he said. ”I’m confident in myself about whether I’m giving good service to the people.”
Carson recalled those times as “awkward,” but said, “I don’t think it was as bad as people remember it, or as it was reported at the time.”
He described his former judicial colleague as a formidable orator and good writer who enjoyed television cameras and the limelight.
Controversy aside, Fadeley was long described as a progressive who looked out for the little guy.
“He was concerned about working people and concerned about people having a say in government,” Mary Ann Holser, vice chairwoman of the Lane County Democratic Committee, said in 1997. “By the same token, he knew how to exercise control and get his agenda through.”
Wyers said Fadeley fought with then-legislator and former Portland Mayor Vera Katz. “They just disagreed about everything.” He was “hard to get along with” Wyers said, but a true progressive of that era.
“In a way, he was a man ahead of his time,” Wyers said, citing Fadeley’s fierce opposition to what he described as a regressive sales tax.
Shira recalled her father opening his home to clients who needed a place to stay in a pinch. He also allowed friends to board their horses at the 84-acre Creswell farm where he and Darian lived for more than two decades.
Shira said her father’s health started to deteriorate in recent months after he couldn’t kick an infection.
But at a funeral this spring, he was well enough to use his booming voice to share memories of Laura Olson, another Lane County Democrat and longtime friend, without a microphone.
“She’d want us to go out there and do something that makes the world a better place,” Shira recalled her father saying.
The Fadeleys haven’t announced plans for a memorial service. Fadeley is survived by his wife, Darian, daughter Shira and son Charles, who goes by Chuck.

When I tried to become a Christian at forty years of age, I was asked to leave the Christian church at McKenzie Bridge by a man who I thought was my friend, who said this;
“As a Christian, I am bid to love you. But, that doesn’t mean I have to like you.”
I had suggested to him a week earlier that the grove of trees next to the church would be a wonderful place for folks up river to hear the Inspiration Gospel Choir that my childhood friend, Marilyn, sang in. What a look I got, that told me the old peckerwoods in the logging industry won’t like black folks singing in their trees.
A few weeks later I Baptize myself in the McKenzie River, after write on a piece of paper “I am a Nazarite’. A week later, I find ‘My People’ in South Africa. I sent them a letter.
A few weeks later I have a psychic reading, and am told this;
“You own your own creation – You died!”
I am coming to understand that Jesus was killed just after his ministry began. Just after he read from Isaiah, the Jews grabbed him and tried to throw him off a cliff. Allegedly, he got away. The introduction of Lazarus to the story of Jesus has confused Biblical scholars. I believe he is included for the reason the original Church was saying their Lord and Rabbi was raised from the dead – and was with them for months! Was he then crucified for saying he was of the dead, and had come to raise the dead into the New Heaven and Earth?

Yesterday, I admitted I have gotten out of shape due to COVID-19. Today I founded the Black Turnverein Channel that hopefully will be broadcast across America. Many black athletes will not be taking the field in our Nation’s colleges. I moved to Springfield fourteen years ago and bonded with some of the black Oregon Ducks. For awhile there was a group of blacks who met near the playground to do exercise. I joined them. I was seventy years – young!
With the coming of Black Live’s Matter, the whole world is looking at major issues that can, and will change the course of world history. It was traditional for Turnverein Clubs to hold debates of all kinds. These German immigrants go involved in our Democracy and served in the Union Army and helped defeat the Confederate Conspiracy – which is still alive! With my discovery my kin, John Fremont, formed the Radical Democracy Party in order to get Abraham Lincoln to drop out of the rice, opens up a huge field of topics in regards to how thoroughly black slaves were oppressed in the United States.
I would like to see the Black Panthers found a Black Turnverein in Oakland California. There is talk about armed Black Militias. My kin, Carl Janke, founded a Turnverein in Belmont and San Francisco where a armed Vigilante Committee may have been preparing to fight the Confederacy – as well as maintaining Law and Order. These issue are up! This history has returned.

When we were leaving the garden, her mother drives up!

I wrote you on and asked for your help, Hence I received the autopsy report on and have been in shock. I suffer from PTSD, and barely got through what appears to be a case of TORTURE, that my niece survived, only to die in the hospital of cardiac arrest two hours later. I am not an expert, but it looks like none of her injuries were life threatening. The idea of people dying from sheer terror has been around since the dawn of time. I have sent you the autopsy. No way could these injuries be self-inflected. What does injuries to Drew’s nipples tell you? Did Detective Holstrom question anyone who had a bond with Drew, as is the norm? I don’t know. I requested a Police Report on August 18th. and have not got it. I own a registered newspaper in Lane County Oregon, named after Joseph Lane, who is in the Benton Family Tree. On the phone Holstrom asked me this, after I requested a report;
“What do you want a report for?”
“I’m writing a biography.”
Much of my biography contains the History of John Fremont and Jessie Benton. Holstrom could not find any of Drew’s family, and did not know who mother is the famous artist, Christine Rosamond Benton, and her father is the famous muralist, Garth Benton, whose art graces the Getty Villa. No way would any Benton Artist want to be found dead in their underwear – covered in bruises and blood! If Drew meant to kill herself, she would not have chosen TORTURING HERSELF TO DEATH! Prove me wrong? Put together a panel of experts who have looked at the horrible deaths of hundreds of women. Perhaps you can get a copy of the police report and compare it to Drew’s autopsy?
A friend told me Drew was on leave from her job at Walmart because a man who made a “Kill List” – with Drew’s name at the top – had got out of prison, and was seen at Walmart. Drew was terrified of HER STALKER. Cameron Bosley said she was “hearing voices” and is the reason he wanted Drew to move out of her “dark” studio, and move in with his brother, Damien Bosley., who refused to talk to me on the phone and tell me what happened. It was suggested that if Drew had made this move, she would be alive, and would not have taken her life – to make the voices go away? Why not get hold of Her Stalker and have him make the voices go away? Would he have done a more merciful job?
I ran for Governor of Oregon and will send a copy of this letter to Governor Kotek. Thomas Hart Benton was the Proprietor of the Oregon Territory. His daughter, Jessie Benton, married John Fremont, who blazed the Oregon Trail.

I have avoided re-reading the autopsy due to my PTSD that puts me in a state where I have gotten in my bed and tried to go to sleep. It takes me days to recover, and function properly, because I have been put in the dark. I fell my credibility is under attack. I have felt like the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf. I am always working on my shredded credibility and low self-esteem.

Dear Sir: I a the uncle of Drew Taylor Rosamond Benton. While checking in on my relatives on Facebook, I found a post by Damien Bosley saying Drew had taken her life, and he is looking for members of her family. There are five members of our family in the area. I wonder why they are not responding, and in looking at family members on Facebook, I find out another young member of hour family took his life. In twenty minutes I am in total grief and shock. I post a message on Damien’s FB, giving him my phone number. He never called me – to this day! We have texted.
It took four or five days or officer Holstrom to call me back. I called K and talked to Noah who said he would call Holstrom – because I was very stressed. I suffer from PTSD. Finally Holstom calls, and she acts like she is very busy. She tells me I am the only relative she has talked to. She says she was trying to get hold of a half-sister who is in Paris. My niece Shannon Rosamond Benton came to mind. I then asked for a POLICE REPORT.
“Why do you want a report?” Holstrom asked.
“Because I am writing a biography!”
“Contact Records.”
I did, and asked for the record. I called several times, and was told I was on a list. I asked records for Drew’s Autopsy, and read it three days ago. I am I total shock. Drew dies of cardiac arrest – two hours after she jumped from a balcony – after stabbing herself in the thighs twenty times. She stabbed herself in the ankle, and that really made me wonder. Was that a defensive wound? Did someone stab my niece, in what looks like torture? What would that person be after? Damien was in awful hurry to get me to pay for the cremation so I can give him a Death Certificate, because he and Drew co-signed on something and he had to show proof she was dead – to get out of the contract.
In making arrangement with the mortuary, Ivanna tells me Cameron Bosley wants to talk to me.
“Is it O.K. if I give him your number?”
“Yes.”
Cameron called me ten minute later. I am desperate for information. He tells me Drew was dismissed from her job at Walmart due to an altercation involving a fellow worker. She is on mental leave. She is hearing voices. He and Damien want her to move from the small dark, depressing place she is living in, and move in with Damien. I wonder why no one is getting my niece professional help. I have thrifty-six years of sobriety. I keep my mouth shut – because I NEED MORE INFORMATION! I have talked to four citizens of Arizona – and know no details! Where is that police report. Ivanna helps me fill out a Death Certificate. Damien says he did not know Drew’s parents were famous artists, and, there are two books and a movie script about OUR FAMILY! How can that be?
All of a sudden – he disappears the box of Drew’s paper he WAS going to send me. I call Ivanna and tell her Damien is not going to get a copy of the DC, nor is he to receive any ashes. She asks me to send her documentation of my wishes. I replay in our e-mails. NO! Damien is trying to get me to put his name on a Mortuary List. I tell him that is not going to happen.
Two days ago I try to get a hold of Ivanna. She is not available. I ask to talk to a manger. The woman on the phone says she is a manger – and she can NOT find my or Drew’s name. Now she can not find her cremated remains! I am put on hold, A guy named Ron tells me he’s on his way to put Drews ashes in the mail, and I should get them on Saturday. I get an image of Ron – and he is right out of central casting! They called him Captain Ron in Iraq? If we kill all the golfers, they’ll put us in prison!
Here is what I discussed with Michael Dundon, the grandfather of Rafe, and uncle of Shamus Dundon, whose two sons live close to where Drew allegedly jumped from a balcony. One of these sons lived at the same address as Drew, and my late sister, Vicki Presco. And no Dundon – responds! WTF!
“Was Drew right-handed? She stabs herself ten times in the right thigh, then, stabs herself ten times in the left thigh. The wounds on the left thigh will be further up the leg. The wounds on the right leg, will be near the knee! Unless she changed hands!”
The autopsy says Drew was obese at the waist. She has been talking for two hours before she dies of A HEART ATTACK at midnight. How can this be ruled a SUICIDE? I have sent people the psychological report on people who try to stab themselves to death – and survive theses wounds! These attempts are uncommon, and, the stabs are made to the stom……..

I know what “immediate” means. There is no mention of cardiac arrest – TWO HOURS – later. I spend a half hour reading the autopsy and wondered about the contusions. I saw a sharp end of a woman’s comb causing the stab wounds. Am I to believe Drew tried to kill herself by beating herself to death with a lead pipe, and, then going to a comb to finish the job. But, when that didn’t work she climbed over a high railing – but did not die! I wondered if she was treated like a nut on drugs at the hospital, and did not receive proper treatment. Was she restrained and given a shot of thorizein? ENOUGH!
I’m done with SPECULATING! If I had read the cause of death – before Drew was cremated – I would have demanded TOP Forensic Scientist examine Drew who had been in the icebox for over a month. Did anyone dust her body for fingerprints? Was her appartment treated like a crimes scene? Was there bloody hand prints on the railing? Is there enough forensics to call for – A COMPLETE INVESTIGATION?

I will make the case in one of my books, that I am the victim of two witch-hunts, one by the Alley Gang Wiccans, and the Hefty Haffner Evangelical Haters. These two conflicting religious groups formed a bond in order to drive me out of my home, and Springfield.
When Alley Valkyrie sent me her threats, I responded to this one, saying Belle Burch had never told me to not contact her, or write about her. Five minutes later, Ms. Burch called me and asked me not to publish anything about her in my newspaper, Royal Rosamond Press. But, her compatriot had already launched an attack on me on her Facebook, which goes against their policy. Their attorney, Mary Broadhurst, objects, but she does not tell Alley to resort to legal action if she believes I am abusive. Almost everyone who read this HUNT knew Valkyrie wanted to USE HER DARK POWERS – have sport with me! She was looking foreward to doing a Victory Dance, when I slunk away – like the others! Alley and Belle had invaded the City Managers office when he practiced his right – not to meet with A WALK-IN MOB! Belle calls Riuz a “coward”. We are seeing a Wiccan Police Force that Kim Hafner applauds – with glee – after she gathered a Christine Posse to harass me and the cats that visited me.
There are authors and groups that are very keen on Witch-hunts. Descendants of the Cogswell family founded Eugene Oregon’s major newspapers, and are kin to George and Joaquin Miller – as well as Jack London. Two of the men were journalists, like myself. I am the alleged kin of John Wilson who I have shown descends the Schwarzenberg family, and may be the reasons he was born at Windsor Castle. I got a very Gothic book that I will lay on the steps of Eugene’s government. Inside I will ask why the Mayor and City Council did not back me up like John Cogswell and his family backed Goodwife Proctor.

Belle Burch did not identify herself as a advocate for the homeless – and a member of OCCUPY – at that meeting! Only when I I.D.ed her hands, and being a member of the group she got attested with, did SHE CONFESS!
There was much controversy about the lack of leadership with OCCUPY. And then there is the group Anonymous. Alternative Eugene Lifestyle, already had recognizable leaders, some who joined OCCUPY. THEY recognized each other and formed Whoville and Themville. Owning stealth, they began to own power. No add Wiccan Power. I began to RECOGNIZE what, and who, is invisible. I suspected Belle might run for office to get Kitty out of there, because she let John Riuz close down Whoville. Belle went to – THE ENFORCER – Alley Valkyrie. Both women had attorneys available. They could have sued me, do what normal people do. These are no normal people. These are very SPECIAL PEOPLE like QAnon. They get to overthrow -all governments that don’t do their will. The Cogswell family, have risen from their graves, and have come to my defense. They were at the trial of Elizabeth Proctor. They took a great risk by doing the right thing. Did they worry – they were next – after Elizabeth was murdered? This morning the Cogsworth family, came down on the RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY. There is panic at the Afghanistan airport as thousand try to flee the coming Witch-hunt. Will there be trials before the executions?

Anonymous Donor Gives $400,000 for Homeless Camp in Eugene

An anonymous donor from Eugene has stepped forward with $400,000 to purchase property for a homeless camp in the city.
The $400,000 will be used to buy a piece of private property to create a place for homeless people to sleep. The donor has also asked that a health clinic be on site for residents and others in need.
Attorney Mary Broadhurst is a homeless advocate who’s worked with SLEEPS and residents of the recently shuttered illegal Whoville camp. She says she’s grateful.

Yesterday, Sue Hafner, returned my call. I had just discovered that Garth Benton (Paul Garfield Benton) went to Reseda High School, and graduated in 1959. Two months ago I was at Sue and Jack’s home looking at family photos, and the 1958 yearbook, because Sue had graduated in 1958 from Reseda High. I was going to help her with a story about her grandfather, Maynard, a renowned pole vaulter. Jack Webb was at his wedding.
As it turns out, the actress, Merry Anders, played police woman, Dorothy Miller, in the series Dragnet, and, co-starred in the movie with Garth Benton, who played Buddy ‘Raiders From Beneath The Sea. Merry starred in ‘The Hypnotic Eye’ and ‘The Beauty and the Beast’. This makes Garth the most famous graduate of Reseda High.

Sol Yurick passed away. I and my ex-wife, along with my step-daughter, stayed at Sol’s house when we went back east to pick up the Thunderbird. We talked for hours about his books, and, the real Cultural Warfare that was going down. I really liked this man.

The American novelist Sol Yurick, who has died aged 87, was too radical, too extreme and too violent for the respectable literary establishment of New York, yet no writer more fully embodied the city’s anguished spirit in the 1960s. His novels The Warriors (1965), Fertig (1966) and The Bag (1968) constitute a trilogy of vibrant energy, biting satire and high, though irreverent, artistic seriousness.
The Warriors, a tale of gangs and street violence, was rejected by 27 publishers before it finally appeared. Last night I got to see the most soulful and tired woman on the planet. I saw a bereft and powerful woman put her late husband, Kenny Reed, to rest. Marilyn Reed is the most generous human being I will ever meet. When Mary Anne and I got married, no one made any plans. Mary Anne did not think about a wedding dress, so Marilyn leant her train dress she designed and sew. My wife was stunning. However, she did not tell me she hated staying in hotels and motels, the residue of living with Thomas Pynchon in Mexico. So, we had nowhere to spend our wedding night. Marilyn offered us her bed, and that’s where we spent the night. However, I had reservations of consummating our marriage with my first flame in the other room – on the couch! This was enough. Love filled the air. My friend, Bryan McClean sang at our wedding, which caused Marilyn to break out crying. She was -giving me away! She had visions of us getting married, one day.
When I got on the stage at the Jazz Station, I gave Marilyn away to her husband. I acknowledged and bless their union. I told the audience that I was present when they first fell in love. Then I talked about them holding hands, till Kenny let go. I said I know how Kenny felt, because I let Marilyn go back in 1963, never thinking I would see her again. These loving hello’s and these loving goodbyes. What more could a man ask for? What more could Marilyn provide? I acknowledged her and her husband’s walk, and talk, and holding hands with Jesus – in front of the Inspirational Gospel Sounds Choir – that M is the President of.
I thanked Marilyn for her devotion to our community. I acknowledged she had done everything possible to save her husband’s life. For six days she was with him at the hospital.
After the Reed Farewell, I walked around downtown Eugene, after dark, in my great coat. I was filled with peace. I felt love and amnesty for all.
Thank you Marilyn for walking by my side all these blessed years. You’re the greatest!

Someone who has my best interests at heart, wants me to give references about my friends here at McKenzie Meadows in particular. What kind of person am I? I made an inventory of four residents I interacted with, that have died here. I have a couple of pics of us playing poker in the rec room that I will have to find.
Then Brembe-Colt came to mind and the video of us taking our walk that was almost a daily happening. Many tenants marveled at how a cat would follow a human. I tried to rescue Colt from his abusive owners. He was becoming my Service Animal. I was struggling using a decapheter until Colt insisted on being a part of the procedure. He was doing a healing. I spent $200 dollars getting him repaired. My vet said he would always bee a outdoor cat. Then began the attack of the No-Neck Gutgobblins.
The No-Necks are a mother and daughter team of Meanness. They moved in four years ago and do not like to say hello. They pride themselves on giving you hard looks. That’s the daughter with Kim Hafner, my tormenter. This Gutgobblin brings her cat outside and is trying to get it used to Colt. She tells me my service cat, and her cat, fought when she brought Colt inside. She tells me she wants to make Colt – her cat! She has seen us walking together ad this is what she deserves – not me!
I tell her I just got Colt fixed and neutered, and do not want him to get in a fight with your cat. This No-Neck tells me her mother told her she can take my cat because I do not keep it inside. I told her no one could keep that cat inside. A couple of months later, Kim Hafner is threatening to get rid of Colt. He disappears.
Jonathan Gall might have been my best friend – after his father, Mark Gall. Mark and I used to go fishing on the McKenzie quite a lot. We used to play golf. The Galls all have degrees in psychology. They and the Corbin family have been friends for forty years. Ed Corbin was my good friend. I got Ed into Serenity Lane. He is a Harvard graduate. Jonny graduated summa cum ladi.
I drove my dear friend to many doctor appointments in my yellow Toyota. I took Ed shopping, and to his appointments. I took Sandy and three others to dinner at the C Street Church, or, The Kitchen. I took Hollis and others to do volunteer work at the Youth Farm. I took Virginia to her doctor appointments in the Mustard Mobil.
One day after I had dinner with Jon and his mother, they dropped me off. Jon wanted to come up and see my appartment. Joy asked me to get a towel to put before John as he scooted himself up the stairs. He could no longer walk. Jon never lived anywhere but his parents home. He sat down in a big chair and looked out on my balcony. He was trying my space on for size. It was very moving, because it looked Jon was going into a home. I saw him in a home. He could not speak, and made grunting sounds. He pulled the tube out of his stomach, twice, when I was there. They wanted me to go in the ambulance.
My neighbor Sande gave me a call and was in much pain. She wanted me to take her to emergency. She scooted down the stairs on her butt. When I picked her up, I was working on a luggage carrier to see if I could carry Sande upstairs. Then my neighbor, Terrell Turner drove up and took our neighbor upstairs. See news article below.
Jon’s grandmother was brought from back East and put in a home. It was love at first sight. For three years I attended dinner at Fox Hollow. I was asked to come do a painting to music in the rec room. Grand Canyon Suite was my choice. I dated the director for awhile. I took Ray Gall to synagogue.
I took Alberta to Cowboy Church. We played poker in the rec room with Cliff, Owen, Ray, and Sande. Alberta had a crush on me, and when she took me to see her burial plot, she wanted me to purchase the plot next to her.
Above is a pic of me and my childhood sweetheart at show at the Emerald Art Association where I volunteered. I married Thomas Pynchon’s lover, and adopted Hollis Williams when he died because we could not find any family. There is a Christian group here at McKenzie Meadow. Joy is close with Genie, who was close with Sande. There was a woman who rented a gargae here that lived with the Galls. Bill died. He rented a garage and was a good friend of the Galls. Mark knew Cheryl Walton when she lived next to Ed. She had to move when she angered a woman neighbor.
I proposed to Virginia Hambley, after she got down on one knee. Virg has memory loss due to a horrific accident. I was there for her, to so all those little things she could not do. I went to Head Injury groups with her.
That is my childhood friend, Nancy Hamren, of yogurt fame. She was at my graduation from Serenity Lane in 1987. She got me on the bus with her friend Ken Kesey who I believe wanted to help him own what I got….33 years of sobriety.
Then there is my good neighbor, Dorene. I fell in love with her and her very old dog that was blind, but sensed I was coming to check my mail.

Ashley Hicks and I have been facebook friends for six years. She was threatened by anarchists and has allowed me to post the threats of Alley Valkyrie who is in France being on her best behavior so she can get citizenship, according to Don Kahle who writes for the Register Guard.
Last night a great cloud rolled in from the sea, and like Baal was full of thunder and rain. I washed down my deck with buckets of water then cleansed and blessed my plants in the name of John the Baptist who was a Nazarite like myself. My ex-neighbor Will invited me to the Convict Christian meetings he held in the rec room. I introduced him to my dear friend Kenny Reed who passed away recently.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – John Presco raised the flag Monday to remember his friend, Hollis Williams.
Presco hopes in the next few months he can raise enough money that Williams’ death will not have been in vain.
“He doesn’t have a home right now. He’s homeless in a morgue and I’m entering my anger stage on that,” said a downcast Presco.
It’s anger that he’s working out with a hammer. Presco mounted a new U.S. flag this Monday, raising Old Glory for the friend he lost Friday morning.
Presco said he found the 58-year-old Williams dead in his apartment Friday – an apartment Williams had moved into only 2 months ago.
According to other vets, Williams was well known in the homeless community who was often at a nearby Safeway store, collecting cans.
Now, a makeshift altar is set up in a vacant Laura Street building that Presco says was briefly used to hand out clothes to the homeless.
Presco wants the memory of his best friend to live on. His dream is for a veterans “stand-down” center that bears the name of Hollis Williams.
Presco said he wants to copy “stand-downs” held in Lane, Douglas and surrounding counties, to connect vets with mental health services, haircuts, job training and more.
“We got to let our veterans know that they haven’t fought in vain and that we care for them,” Presco said.
He said he doesn’t know where he’ll find the support or how long it will take – but to remember his longtime friend, he won’t give up easily.
“I suffered some homelessness and abandonment and stuff like that,” Presco said, “so I’m not going to abandon my friend.”
The property and house on Laura Street is being sold, so locating a center there is unlikely. Presco said that’s the kind of layout he’s looking for.
Services for Hollis Williams will be next Sunday 1:30 p.m. at Campbell Senior Center in Eugene.

Terrell and Sarah are getting married in three days. His old friends at McKenzie Meadows wish the Turners the very best! Thanks for being part of our family.
After visiting the University of Oregon, the decision had become clear. Turner would become an Oregon Duck.
“I don’t understand how anyone could turn down Oregon,” Turner told me. “It’s such a family atmosphere. Oregon is a great place to get away from a big town.”

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — On Saturday morning, John Presco could hear the fear in his neighbor’s voice as she left a message on his answering machine.
“Hello John,” said Sandy Maricle. “This is Sandy. Are you home?”
Maricle needed someone to drive her to the hospital.
“I’m in really severe pain in my leg and back,” said Maricle.
With her sciatic nerve throbbing, Maricle barely made it to the car.
“She scooted down on her butt, all the time her face is in agony,” Presco said.
A few hours later, she was released from the hospital — but had no way to get from the car to her second-story apartment.
That all changed when her neighbor, University of Oregon defensive end Terrell Turner showed up, picked Maricle up and carried her up the stairs.
“It was a God-send,” Presco said.
“I was relieved,” Maricle said. “It was like an angel.”
“He was so kind and gentle and just the perfect good Samaritan,” Maricle said.
It’s not the first time this Duck has done a good deed. A few weeks ago, another neighbor needed help carrying a TV up three flights of stairs.
“We got it all the way up so thank God,” Turner said.
Turner said the acts of kindness are inspired by his passion for his family in California.
“I’m just making sure I can help out as if my mom was around to help,” Turner said.
Now, he’s helping his extended family here in Oregon.
“I think a lot of him,” Maricle said.
Judy Gall’s Accidental Masterpiece

I saw the hidden beauty in this montage, this many layered vision into the Rose of the World gallery that shows Rosamond as Sleeping Beauty, the silenced Story Teller surrounded by her court.

Ed Corbin was my neighbor, who lived next door to Hollis Williams who died two years ago. I adopted our mutual friend and paid for his funeral from the $30,000 dollars left to my by my uncle in a Trust. I paid for half of the memorial held at the Campbell Senior Center, across the street from Ed. Above is a photo of me spreading Hollis’s ashes. I worked with Hud-Vash to get H into a apartment.
For years I would bicycle to Ed’s house after blogging for ten hours. We plaid video games. After he had several strokes, I took him to Serenity Lane were he stayed a month. After three months sober, he went back to drinking, and had more strokes. His three sons wanted me to spend more time with Ed, who saw these video games as therapy. It worked. Ed’s recovery from the strokes is a miracle. I got him to cut his drinking way down. For the next two years I never saw him go on a binge, that rendered him insane. He had become a out of control wild man. Thanks to me, Ed is now enjoying two beautiful grandchildren.
Above is my famous Toyota ‘The Mustardmobile’. For years I took Ed shopping in it. I took Hollis and his autistic friends to the Food Kitchen, and a church for a free meal. Here is the Mustardmobile parked in front of OCCUPY Eugene where many homeless people camped. We were against the Millionaire Club who collapsed our economy. The Mustardmobile was used to drive Jonny Gall to many of his doctor meetings. I had no problem waiting for a couple hours, because I had spent thousands of hours babysitting Ed – for free! Jonny died of a rare disease.
After my daughter and her Tea Party lover called me a “parasite” because I get SSI, I dismissed her as the Trustee of the Vincent Rice Trust. My friend, Mark Gall, refused to serve as the second named Trustee, he citing his caring for his dying son took up much of his time.
Ed has me give his good friend a call so we could meet. Ed and Mark went to Harvard together. Ed’s ex found Mark was also in Eugene, and got them to meet.
Two months ago my neighbor Sandra died. For two years I was there for her. I took her to doctor appointments. I watched her waste away due to Lukenia. She took her life.
I watched my good friend, Jon Gall waste away and become a vegetable. I helped so many people, and I get $700 dollars a month to live on. I bought my kin, Michael Dundon new teeth costing $2,000. Yesterday was my birthday. I only heard from Marilyn Reed who took me out to dinner. I revealed more information on why I own a Christ-complex., that bid me to try to save the world and as many people as I can. The Fadeley’s were not invited to Jon’s funeral, either.
Here I am volunteering my time at the rest home Mark’s mother stayed in. She was evicted for demanding she be the center of attention. I took Ray to synagogue. On April 9, 2012, I received an e-mail from Kendall W. Corbin, the brother of my long term friend, Edward Malcom Corbin. Their father was the head of the Mayo Clinic and has two citations in Who’s Who. Kendall Brooks Corbin, married Eryl Portia Wallace, the daughter of Emilie Susan Cavenagh, who married Robert Bruce Wallace. Portia descends from the infamous William Wallace, and it looks like, Robert Bruce. But what I am interested in is Portia’s kinship to Francis Cavanagh, a member of the Plymouth Brethren.
At Ed Corbin’s house I read about twenty pages on the Cavanagh family containing letters which mentioned the Plymouth Brethren throughout. Those papers Ed owned, got misplaced. When I spoke to Kendall on the phone, he said he would look for them. but, having just moved, this might take awhile.

In Mr. Sydney Morris’s Report of the Administration he says on page 4 line 10;
“Petitioner hired Stacey Pierrot, who had been assistant manager of the gallery during Decedent’s lifetime, to run the gallery and prepare and execute a marketing plan. The gallery was run by the estate until March 1996 when the gallery was sold to Ms. Pierrot through a contract approved by this Court. During the time that the estate operated the gallery, aggressive marketing efforts were made in an attempt to stir interest in Decedent’s work and increase the potential market for her work. In spite of these efforts, interest in Decedent’s work continued to wane.”
On page six, Mr. Morris explains why there was a delay in the closing of the estate;
“By September 2000, however, plans were underway for a biography of Decedent, which Petitioner hoped might create interest in her work. The book was published in 2002. Although the book did not spur the hoped-for interest in Decedent’s life and work, efforts continued to market the concept of a screenplay based upon Decedent’s life. The owner of Moe’s asked me, and my friends, to do a night of poetry reading, only. I had read my poems at the Granary four years ago, with Kenny Reed backing me up. His wife, Marilyn sang there, as did her daughter, Nisha. Because there was so much going on in the world, I was blogging like crazy. I found no time to write poems, so I turned two of my blogs into poems and read them while Stone Cold Jazz played in the background.
The Baby-faced Rose is about the woman I interviewed at Black Lives Matter rally. Ding Dong is about Krysta Albert defaming Black Miss Oregon. She got me in a world of trouble with the Choir.
The Friggen Eye of God is about a glowing eyeball.
With no hope of ever seeing Belle Burch again, I wrote a poem she inspired. In Ken Kesey Square I told her she reminded me of Botticelli’s ‘Venus in a Half Shell’. I was not a labeled a “stalker” a sexual deviant, a sub-human, at the time. I still owned – human qualities. I sent this poem to Marilyn in a e-mail two days after I beheld Belle.

He explains the source of his riches: a job with an eccentric English gentleman, who ordered him to play his violin to a parrot until it died. The others hardly listen to his tale as they set up the table to eat and drink. Schaunard interrupts, telling them that they must save the food for the days ahead: tonight they will all celebrate his good fortune by dining at Cafe Momus, and he will pay.

I recall getting a phone call, or an e-mail, from Joy Gall telling me she wants to consult with me, and my neighbor, Jeanie, about taking John Gall off life support. I never heard from her. I then get a call from Mark Gall telling me Jon was dead. I waited to be told when his funeral would be, and never got a call. Months before I visited Joy at the rest home Jon lived in. She had surgery and was recouping. When I went to see Jon in his room, he got very excited – then pulled the tube out his stomach that kept him alive. I had not seen him in months, and he could talk still. I was with Virginia Hambley. I wondered if Jon was telling me – he does not want to live like this. He was taken to the emergency room at Riverbend. Mark wanted me to go there, but, then changed his mind.
Today I wonder if Jon filled out a Oregon POLST when his attorney set up a Trust for Jon. Did it say NOT to keep him alive? If it did, everything makes sense. I have asked Mark if he is writing a autobiography, with Joy’s help. I got no answer. We have the same attorney. Darian and Ed Fadeley were not invited to Jon’s funeral, either. Why? –
I am seeking a attorney in order to sue the Alabama High Court for invvkig the name and wrath of God. On October 7, 2023 I was at the UofO Library looking for the book on a ruly by the Sanhedrin regarded children born with a birth defect.

When I began to study the Bible at fifty years of age I had no problem with looking at the teaching of the Jews. When I read the Sanhedrin made a law stating no Rabbi need minster to a man or woman premarked a sinner by God while inside their mother’s womb, I had found the key to Jesus’s miracles and Christianity. Jesus came to get rid of this law, and as a Go’El Redeemer put an end to INHERENT SIN FROM THE PARENTS. Jesus declared there were no longer any BORN SINNERS!
This is why Rabbi Jesus died on the cross. This transference of evil from adults to the unborn, was over. Note the father of the boy born blind fears he and his son will be thrown out of the synagogue if they testify Jesus healed this son. There is no death warrant for believing Jesus is the Messiah. This is why Jesus bids them not to tell anyone so they can remain in the Synagogue and be ministered to by a Rabbi.

An Alabama Supreme Court’s ruling has torn open a long-simmering and emotionally charged debate about whether some aspects of in vitro fertilization represent a form of abortion and should be banned under religious principles.
Christian opposition to abortion has long driven the debate over reproductive rights. Abortion opponents say life begins at conception, and even a handful of cells deserves the same legal protections as a person.
In his concurring opinion last week, Chief Justice Tom Parker, an elected Republican, invoked similar reasoning.
“In summary, the theologically based view of the sanctity of life adopted by the People of Alabama encompasses the following: (1) God made every person in His image; (2) each person therefore has a value that far exceeds the ability of human beings to calculate; and (3) human life cannot be wrongfully destroyed without incurring the wrath of a holy God, who views the destruction of His image as an affront to Himself.”
But legal scholars say invocating religion is an unusual step for a judge. And IVF advocates are concerned about injecting religion into what they see as a medical decision to have a family.
“The substance of the ruling is not a surprise at all. But the language he used, it’s completely out of bounds ‒ unusual to an extreme degree,” said Jennifer Hendricks, a law professor and family law expert at the University of Colorado Boulder.
IVF has faced religious opposition from some Christians
It all comes down to a small cluster cells.
On one side of the battle are millions of Americans who used in-vitro fertilization to have desperately wanted children who could otherwise not have been born.
On the other are Christian religious conservatives who argue humans should not be playing God in a laboratory, and that life begins at conception. The Catholic Church in particular opposes IVF, though some religions, including Buddhism and Hinduism, have no hesitations about the procedure.
Several Alabama facilities, including the provider that was sued in the initial case, announced this week that they are pausing their IVF programs.
Although the ruling itself affects only embryos in Alabama, word of the decision has spread quickly across the nation and already is reverberating in Washington. Opinions are highly polarized.
President Joe Biden weighed in with a statement Thursday saying voters should re-elect him if they wanted a different approach to reproductive rights. “The disregard for women’s ability to make these decisions for themselves and their families is outrageous and unacceptable,” he said. Vice President Kamala Harris also slammed the court’s decision, saying it sets a dangerous precedent for “robbing women of the freedom to decide when and how to build a family.”
But Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said she agrees with the court’s contention that frozen embryos created through IVF are children. “Embryos, to me, are babies,” Haley told NBC News. “That’s a life.”
Ruling again pits theology against reproductive rights
Some conservative states have passed laws specifying that life begins at conception, and the Alabama court leaned heavily on Christian faith and the Bible to make its case. The court referred to the embryos as “embryonic children … kept alive in a cryogenic nursery.”
Rachel Laser, president and CEO of Washington D.C.-based nonprofit Americans United for Separation of Church and State, said citing the Bible in this manner is like “giving the middle finger to a foundational promise of our country.”
Alabama’s top court ruling on IVF is part of a larger movement to “impose religious theology,” Laser said, in conflict with the constitutional promise of separating church and state. She saw the verdict in Alabama as part of a larger Christian nationalist movement – the idea that America was created by and for Christians an its laws should reflect that.
“The agenda doesn’t stop with reproductive rights. It’s much, much bigger,” Laser said. “And that should concern every American, because America wouldn’t be America without the separation of church and state.”
Laser noted that moral arguments put forth by lawmakers and judges often impose a singular definition of morality on everyone, including people of other faiths and Christians who don’t align with the same set of values or believe they should be imposed by law.
Along with jeopardizing access to IVF and abortions, Laser said the ruling could affect access to contraception, as some forms work by blocking embryos from implanting in the uterus.
“That’s what could come next,” she said.
IVF was a polarizing issue from the start
In 1979, a year after the world’s first IVF baby was born, a coalition of anti-abortion groups denounced the new technology as “morally abhorrent” and persuaded the federal government to block funding for any research in which embryos were destroyed. But the number of what were then referred to as “test tube” babies continued to rise as desperate families turned to IVF to conceive children. Today, about 2% of all babies born in the U.S. annually are conceived through IVF.
“Over the years, the anti-abortion movement gradually accepted some reproductive technologies, as long as no embryos were destroyed during their use,” said Margaret Marsh, a historian and professor at Rutgers University. “But the peace it made with the new technologies was always an uneasy peace.”
Marsh co-wrote a 2019 history of IVF with her sister, a gynecologist.
Because IVF was developed after Roe became the law of the land in 1973, embryos have typically been treated as private property that donors could implant, give away or have destroyed without consequence. But newly passed “personhood” laws pushed by conservatives and some religious groups are changing that.
Nationally, about 100,000 births a year involve IVF, an emotionally and physically exhausting process by which multiple eggs are harvested, fertilized and implanted to bring about a pregnancy. In most cases, doctors create more embryos than are implanted, allowing patients to store those embryos in liquid nitrogen at -321 degrees for future use, donation or destruction.
In the IVF procedure, a three- to five-day-old fertilized egg, known as a blastocyst, is implanted in a woman’s uterus. At this point it contains between 70 and 200 cells.
Those tiny clusters of cells can only develop inside a womb, and officials estimate there may be as many as 1 million frozen embryos stored nationwide.
IVF families have often struggled for years to get pregnant and undergoing expensive IVF treatment typically requires the administration of powerful fertility drugs and invasive medical procedures for the chance to have a baby. People turn to IVF for many reasons, including fertility loss after cancer treatments, or military members heading out on long-term deployments who want to delay having children.
Is it OK for a judge to invoke the Bible?
In a commentary attached to the Alabama ruling, Parker leaned heavily on the religious foundation of American laws, connecting them to longstanding Christian tenets such as the 10 Commandments’ prohibition against murder. Parker noted that other countries have adopted IVF policies that reduce the number of unneeded embryos and suggested that IVF regulations in the United States are little better than “the Wild West.”
“The Alabama Constitution’s recognition that human life is an endowment from God emphasizes a foundational principle of English common law, which has been expressly incorporated as part of the law of Alabama,” Parker wrote.
“All three branches of government are subject to a constitutional mandate to treat each unborn human life with reverence,” he continued. “Carving out an exception for the people in this case, small as they were, would be unacceptable to the People of this State, who have required us to treat every human being in accordance with the fear of a holy God who made them in His image.”
The Catholic Church in 1987 issued an opinion setting out its opposition to IVF, arguing in part that it was immoral because it “does violence to human dignity and to the marriage act,” by replacing the act of conception between a married couple with a procedure by a laboratory worker.
“Human beings bear the image and likeness of God. They are to be reverenced as sacred. Never are they to be used as a means to an end, not even to satisfy the deepest wishes of an infertile couple,” the church said. “The marital act is not a manufacturing process, and children are not products.”
Lael Weinberger, a nonresident fellow at Stanford Law School and attorney who previously clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, appointed by former President Donald Trump said the court’s decision did not invoke religion and Parker was simply musing about the history and theology of law in his concurring opinion.
“It can’t be the case that the First Amendment prohibits our courts from grappling with the history of law,” Weinberger said.
Weinberger said the new ruling gives the couples who originally sued another chance to file a wrongful death suit. A lower court had dismissed their claims on the basis that embryos were not considered children.
But Nicole Huberfeld, a law professor at Boston University School of Law, said Parker’s opinion stands out because it references Christian beliefs so significantly.
“The thing is that’s unusual is how overtly this concurrence is relying on Christian sanctity of life reasoning,” she said.
The First Amendment’s Establishment Clause typically limits the role religion can play in government, but the U.S. Supreme Court in 2022 changed the longstanding process by which it reviewed conflicts between government and religion. The decision to change that process was written by Justice Gorsuch, who said the court needed to rely more heavily on “reference to historical practices and understandings.” Parker, the Alabama judge, specifically referenced Gorsuch in his concurrent opinion.
Past Supreme Courts might have objected to Parker’s reliance on religion, but Huberfeld said she’s not sure whether the current conservative majority ‒ which overturned the right to abortion two years ago ‒ would find it problematic.
“Judges are not supposed to rely on religious principles for legal reasoning,” Huberfeld said. “The Alabama Constitution does use the word ‘God.’ But so does the Declaration of Independence.”
Professor Ian Farrell of the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law said Parker’s opinion is “certainly problematic” because it invokes cherry-picked portions of the Christian faith.Like other experts, he said the judge’s opinion may run afoul of the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause because it so clearly draws from Christian faith to reach a conclusion. “The Bible tells people to do a lot of crazy stuff,” Farrell said. “It doesn’t strike me as legitimate legal reasoning.”
Religion has always affected the way people interpret the law and played a role in the life of Americans, said Hendricks of UC Boulder. But legal standards have typically kept one specific religion, such as Christianity, from imposing its values on everyone.“The concern a lot of people have is that we’re on a path to theocracy here.”
Lindsay Heller, an IVF mom and attorney, said she thanks “whoever is up there” every day for her two kids. But she believes IVF decisions should be between families and doctors ‒ not courts and religion.
“IVF might fall by the wayside if you’re going by someone’s religious values about how life is created,” she said. “A doctor isn’t going to put their license on the line to help someone get pregnant.”

Prelude to The World Holy Word War

Yesterday, on October 6, 2023, I went to the Knight Library to look for a book I found twenty years ago, that proves Jesus was a Priest overturning rulings by the Sanhedrin. He was not a prophet, or a Zealot, though I believe his judgements were the PRELUDE to the War of the Jews against Rome. When his revolt was defeated, his history was altered to keep the suppression of his followers – going – as long as it takes. The suppression of Jesus ‘The Freedom Fighter’ led to the attack on Israel – on the Sabbat. I did not find that book, but took this pic of me amongst a wall of books about the Jews. I knew my prophecies were about to come true. I am for Reformed Judaism which is being demonized by Israelis.
When I left the library, I thought about my ex-friend, Mark Gall, who was the head of the Department of Education at the University of Oregon. I could see the building he worked in when we first met. I was going to send him this article about Christians being attacked by Orthodox Jews. For years we had arguments about ‘The Israeli Right to Exist’. Mark still knows nothing about comparative religion – or just plain religion. I sent him articles on how orthodox Jews are attacking Christians. Mark declared me a Nazi in a e-mail, and recently toned that down to me “acting odd”. I suggested he and his wife write a book together – then included myself! NO REPLY. I am now convinced the Galls are writing a biography – behind my back – knowing I have been working on my autobiography for years. I have asked Mark Gall to help me. He authored many books. I suspect he showed one of my e-mails to the Corbin brothers, and is why I was un-invited to a wake for their father. Mark wants his book out before mine, wherein I am demonized, and their son Jonny Gall, glorified in the name of the Jewish Nation. This is one of the reasons I declared The World Holy War has begun! Its a WAR OF HOLY WORDS!

The cemetery was founded in 1872 by the Spencer Butte Lodge No. 9 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The cemetery is located adjacent to the campus of the University of Oregon but is not affiliated with the college. It is situated across University street from McArthur Court and is behind the Knight Library. In at least three sessions of the Oregon State Legislature, bills were introduced which would have allowed the University of Oregon to condemn the property, remove graves, and build on the land; the last attempt was in January 1963 with the submission of studies presented to the University of Oregon by the Springfield architecture firm of Lutes and Amundson. All of the legislative bills died in committee. The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.[1]

Dear Ms. Papineau;
There was another mysterious drowning at Rocky Point. This area is dangerous no matter if there is a “rogue wave” or not. Enclosed is a more brief account of the mysterious “rogue wave” that allegedly took Rosamond’s life. I never bought the story. I have more evidence it was a fabrication. If the truth had been told would Susan Driscoll had heard it and thus, been more cautious?

Jon Can you count the rogue waves?
The term “rogue-wave” means one wave, a individual wave, a unexpected
large wave, a creeper-wave. Here is Tom Snyder’s account of the “rogue wave” on page 178 of his biography of my late sister ‘When You Close Your Eyes’. The 911 call was made about 10:15 A.M.
“The water exhausts itself against the slope, and is now rushing back
at the same freight-train speed. Christine is caught in the undertow
of the first wave, as a second wave crashes over her. Tons of water
moving in opposite directions whipsaw Christine before she is sluiced
down a twelve foot drop into the waiting sea. “I had expected Drew to
climb out.” Vicki remembers, “but I was in shock seeing Christine
disappear, and hadn’t noticed Drew was still in the water until I
heard a voice say: Get Drew. Then I rushed to the water to help her.
Vicki intercepts Drew. Pulling her clear by one arm Vicki holds the child against the chilling force of the water and the onslaught of the second wave, then sends Drew scrambling of the slope to safety.
”We were terrified another wave would come at any minute.”
Here is the account of Christine’s jacket that got washed up the ice plants and lay there for a week until Vicki found it while filming a video of this area. It was up high enough that no wave reached it for a week, including the high waves that Vicki speaks of in the Pinecone account where five people were swept away. How long did it take Christine to get that coat off, so that it could be taken ashore in yet another “rogue wave”?
“It is nearly impossible for Vicki to believe that the jacket she has
retrieved from the ice plant is the same one Christine was wearing.
The world become bleary as Vicki tries to grasp the fact that the
ocean must have reached this far up on the slope. Unnoticed, Vicki’s
hands snap and unsnap the fastenings at the waist.”
“It must have been Christine’s time, and perhaps she knew so. I was
there as an afterthought. She and Drew were going to spend the whole
weekend at a guest house. Christine went back and sat down on the
final rock after saying we should go get lunch and rent fishing
poles. She always had nightmares about water, tidal waves, the
ocean’s power, the water taking control. She was facing her
nightmare; she sat back down as if she had conquered those fears. I
didn’t understand why we weren’t leaving. It must have been a
premonition – NOTHING ABOUT THE OCEAN, THAT, DAY WOULD INDICATE WE
WERE IN DANGER.” (Was Drew facing her fears too?)
We weren’t just frolicking on the rocks.” Vicki said. “We were
responsible people, and aware of the water at all times. It was a
full moon weekend with lots of tidal action. A friend told me that
five other people were swept out to sea (from California ‘s north
coast) over the same period. We went to look for shells and tide pools
creatures. Christine was sure the tide was going out. Did she know
what lay ahead?” (I guess it wasn’t Drew’s time.)
Would Christine be concerned about Drew being taken by a huge wave?
“Christine tells Layne that she and others are excited about exploring a small cove to search for any treasures left by the sea. That evening, he sounds a warning not.” If you go down to the ocean,” he tells Christine, “have a care.”
In the morning, under a windless sky, Christine, her daughter Drew
and sister Vicki, make their way down a fence line.”
Vicki was in the Navy and knows about tides and wind. Here is what the Ghost Writer Tom Snyder says about this infamous “rogue wave”.
“Along the precipitous coastline, the Pacific is elusive in its
moods. That was foremost in Donald Lane ‘s mind in voicing his
warning. When near the water’s edge, visitors must follow a
fundamental rule: Never turn your back on the ocean. Yet on this fine
spring morning, that is precisely what Christine Rosamond does. She
sits on a rock with her back to the sea and jams her hands securely
in the leather jacket’s pockets.
“You know,” she says aloud, “if a giant wave came right now, it
could take out to sea and I could drown.” (What about Drew?)
“Traveling thousands of miles across the Pacific, the mountain of
water offshore would appear at first only to be a heavy swell. But
in the moment that its base slams into the rock wall extending beyond
and well above the rocky inlet, an enormous surge of water is driven
upward with a terrible force.” Page 178
Well, not quite. What Snyder is eluding to in his science fiction is
a tidal-wave, or a tsunamis. (Where’s Christine’s motherly concern?)
“Indeed, even tsunamis generated by underwater seismic activity only
create the towering walls of destruction near shore where the water
becomes shallow. On the open sea, a tsunami might pass under a ship
unnoticed.” (Surely Doomed Christine did not want Drew near her.)
We now know it was high tide at 10:33 A.M. and winds up to 25 miles
an hour. One of the rescue people I talked to said he awoke that morning to see whitecaps all the way to the horizon. When you remove this fact, then it is somewhat possible to get near Christine near the water, as she was terrified of the ocean. Here is Shamus Dundon, Vicki’s son. (Is he concerned about the safety of Drew?)
“It was blustery. I only got hot after running around (jogging maybe)
looking for lizards. I doubt she took off the jacket b4 she was taken
by the wave. I doubt she took off the jacket b4 she was taken
by the wave. There’s nothing fishy about 1 wave being right after another. Only one wave is believed to have taken her out. The fact a smaller one set her up for the big one is not suspicious by any means. You’ve been near the ocean….You usually see more than one wave do you not?”
bluster “to blow in violent and noisy gusts, as the wind.”
“This oceanfront location seems a perfect place, and a perfect day
for exploring and tide pooling, with brilliant blue sky. Oddly, for
this peaceful spring morning, there is no wind.” So said Snyder.
“Of course adventures rarely go as planned. The properties main
gate is unexpectedly locked, so Christine goes in search of help.
She finds it in the neighbor, a attorney Donald Layne. Of imposing
size and intelligence, Layne is also blessed with a generous nature.
None of this is lost on 46-year-old Christine. At just over five-foot-
five, she is a perennial fashion plate model and man-pleaser. Even
for this casual outing, she is wearing tailored tan slacks and a
white tunic-style blouse topped by a short jacket in soft, muted-
brown leather – distinctively styled with two snaps at the waist.
The sleeves were turned up, revealing the satin lining and a hint of
a forearm.”
Why wasn’t Christine cold, too? Why would she want to stay down there and fish in those clothes? The following quotes are taken from Stacey Pierrot’s webpage on May 21, 1997. The court-ordered executor has just sold Pierrot aspects of my nieces artistic legacy, and family secrets.
“It was a idyllic picture. At Rocky Point, on the Big Sur coast, on
March 26 1994, the AFTERNOON sun hovered low in the sky. On a outcrop
of tumbled rocks, silhouetted against the CALM, BURNISHED SURFACE of
the ocean, a 46-year-old woman and her 8-year-old-daughter knelt over
a tidal pool. Dipping into the water, the child’s fingers sent tiny
crabs scuttling, sea anemones spitting salt water. She taught me everything and I loved her. Her family was understandably in chaos. I couldn’t just let it all drift away.”
In this e-mail Shamus is denying there was a strong wind.
“I could have described AGAIN for you whatever it was you needed from me. (blustery was a word I got from Winnie the Pooh stories, and the cartoon I saw did not show it to be violent. I never looked it up in
the dictionary) Something since then has set you off…Why you think I’m deserving of your wrath is beyond me. You ask me questions, and I answer them truthfully. Then you call me a pathalogical liar. Then you ask me some more questions.”
“Whoosh! was the sound of the wind in A. A. Milne’s children’s book,Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day. This short book written in verse stars all of the original characters: Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, and of course, Christopher Robin. This wonderful children’s novel is about little Piglet being swept up by a big wind and getting stuck near a cliff, deep in the middle of the Hundred-Acre-Wood where all the characters live and play. While poor Piglet is stuck up on that cliff, all of Milne’s other characters come together to devise a scheme to rescue him. This short book is filled with adventure, bits of suspense and lots of stories of friendship. I love this book, along with all of Milne’s writing and would recommend this it to young children and the young at heart.”
“My sister and I both had persistent dreams about tidal waves when we
were kids. She was much more afraid of them than I was, and her
dreams were really nightmares. I was, too, fascinated with big
waves as well. Later in life, when we were apart, we’d often call one
another other to talk about the latest tidal-wave dreams we had.”
Many people knew about these nightmares, and thus would believe Christine’s death was ordained rather then assisted?
Rocky Point Restaurant

Rocky Point Restaurant is located 10 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1 between Carmel and Big Sur , offering a spectacular view of the sea and shore from all tables.

I do not have to prove what really happened out there at Rocky Point after proving all the published accounts are lies. Do I have theories as to how Christine got too close to the thing she fears the most in the world, large towering wind-swept waves? Yes.
We know by all the hurricanes we have seen lately that large waves (more then one) are generated by wind. Tide is another factor, and the moon. Another factor is mentioned in the Rocky Point restaurant page. “Water surged into narrow rocky channels…” And, yet another in Snyder’s account, “Tons of water moving in opposite directions whipsaw Christine before she is sluiced down a twelve foot drop into the waiting sea.”
Vicki and Drew did two sketches of the place where Christine sat down on that final rock. It sits in the middle of a bowl carved in solid rock by waves surging into a narrow rocky channel, hitting a twelve foot wall (or drop into the sea) and shooting fifty feet into the air like a geyser. When I went there with a friend we saw this geyser at moderate tide, from the house. Surely all those who awoke that blustery morning were treated to quite a spectacle. Surely Drew and Shamus would want to go down and get a close look. It takes about fifteen minutes to get down there. This geyser would have been visible most of the way. There is no way anyone could approach this bowl and be caught unawares. This place is not a beach. At the bottom of the bowl is brownish water that is that color due to the high salt content caused by the evaporating seawater left by the last high tide. No tide pool creatures can live in these pools. Near these pools is the rock Christine allegedly sat on. When I went down to sit on it with my back to the sea, my friend got very nervous and moved about ten feet north to get a better view of the approaching waves, as from this rock you can not see around the bend of the “narrow channel”. (Where was Drew?)
Christine could not have sat on that rock at high tide as she would be under water every time a wave came around that bend, hit that wall, and flew high into the air, filling that bowl. They would have seen this happen as they approached, very cautiously, if Christine was with them, but I don’t think she was. I think Vicki, Shamus, and Drew got too close to that geyser, and Drew went into the water. Perhaps Shamus tried to save her while Vicki ran up to call 911? When Christine ran down to help her daughter, she took off her jacket. She may have jumped into the water. This would account for the jacket being high and dry out of reach of other waves for a week. Adults often drown when rescuing children from the surf. Where was Vicki’s motherly concern?
Why did they lie? Because Christine had borrowed heavily from friends and family as the executor Sydney Morris reported. It was suggested to me Shannon would have been just as financially irresponsible. Friends of Christine approached Vicki, the No.1 Executor, and asked her to change the story, to make Vicki look like a hero, rather then co-responsible for the destruction of the art business with the death of the world famous artist, whose worth might now increase with her tragic, verses stupid, death. Shannon had no allies in the family, but me. We were put in the dark and kept there for the last ten years. If the truth was known, they could not have rested the estate away from the adult heir. I can not see Christine allowing Drew to get close to the water under those TRUE conditions. Drew and Shamus were never questioned. Drew did not attend her mother’s funeral. Why?

I talked to Jeanie tonight. I asked about you and Joy. She said Joy fell a few times, and can not drive. If I can move back to Eugene, I can be her chauffer. You and I can go fishing, again. This is as good as it gets. I was angry at you two in order to stop what was coming. It’s here – in spades! I have contracted 9 people who live, or lived here, today.
