THE AMERICAN WAY TEMPLE

and

THE AMERICAN WAY PARTY

There is now a New Party and a New Church that is dedicated to healing people, and feeding people, in the name of Jesus and Saint Francis. When I read PeaceHealth was going to build a new Johnson Unit on Internatiibal Way, I wondered if it was going to be next to the New Church of Later Day Saints.

I saw MY FAMILY STATUE at the entrance of a true healing and feeding center! Never again will the enemies of God and Jesus be able to denigrate those who want to help people – calling them communist left wing lunatics!

The American Way Party adopts all the early history of the Republican party that was cat out by President Trump – who appears to be making a temple to the god Apollo next to the White House.

Jesus taught his disciples to heal, and show mercy. He said they are his equal in the eyes of the Father. This is….A Divine Democracy!

I just looked to see if these names were taken. I am astounded !

“The term “American Way Temple” is not a standard name for a specific building, but likely refers to the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple in Springfield, Oregon, due to its location on “International Way,” or to a general cultural reference, such as the American way of football at Temple University. The Willamette Valley Oregon Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints currently under construction.

“American Way Party” most commonly refers to People for the American Way (PFAW), a left-of-center advocacy group founded in 1981. PFAW works on issues like civil liberties, constitutional rights, and democratic institutions, and it is often contrasted with the Religious Right movement. While PFAW itself is an advocacy organization, it has a political arm called the People for the American Way Voters Alliance (PFAWVA) (a PAC) and People For The American Way Action Fund (a 527 political organization).

PFAW was founded by the television producer Norman Lear in opposition to the publicized agenda of the Moral Majority, a prominent and influential American political organization associated with the Christian right.[9] Officially incorporated on September 4, 1980,[1] its co-founders included Democratic Congresswoman Barbara JordanUniversity of Notre Dame President Theodore Hesburgh and Time Inc. chairman and CEO Andrew Heiskell.[8][10][11] PFAW began as a project of the Tides Foundation,[12] a donor-advised fund that directs money to politically liberal causes.[13]

The New LDS ZION

I believe the New Zion will be where the new LDS Temple is going to be built, a mile or more away from where I live. The Mormons built their cosmology on DNA and Family Trees. Deseret lies next to the Louisiana Purchase. I can now SEE all of what I saw in part. I have been called MAD by all who bonded with me. I kept a record of my Fantastic Quest! Shekinah In New Mormon Temple

Posted on May 25, 2022 by Royal Rosamond Press

An artist's rendering shows the Willamette Valley Temple planned to be built in Springfield.

This afternoon I will be breaking bread with two Mormon Sisters I met in Wal-Mart’s produce section. I told them the secret of what Jesus wrote in the dust.

“Just inside the temple was a slab that was lifted to expose fine dust and shes from the alter sacrafice. This was gather in a bowl and spread on the ground before the Sotah who was being judged for adultery. Jesus wrote the name of God in the dust, gathered it and put it in a goblet with water. He bid the woman to drink – the NAME OF GOD!”

I told the TWO SISTERS that the priests who came to NAME John the Baptist used SIGN LANGUAGE because they served in the Holy of Holies where they prepared to speak THE SECRET NAME OF GOD on the Day of Atonement. I told them the infant John spoke, and may have wrote his name, or…..THE SECRET NAME that had been altered, or…..LOST!

We agreed to meet, and when I awoke the next morning, my angel told me she will dwell in the new Mormon Temple. My angel is……THE SHEKINAH!

I was going for a cucumber while seated in the electric cart, when a young woman blocked my way. She apologized. A voice in back of me, doubled down and were now speaking to me side by side. They were harmonizing. I noticed they were wearing NAME BADGES. They told me they were Mormons.

“You two are speaking in divine stereo. I think you are the TWO PAGES in my painting. I think they are the TWO WITNESSES in the Bible.”

“Which ones?”

“There’s more than one set?”

“Yes!”

Last night I googled Mormons and Shekinah and read again this excellent article by Val Larsen, a Mormon. One of the sisters called me just as I was about to type the first letter of my text message in response to her asking if we could meet. I asked about the New Temple – that will be built very near! Everything came together. I do what I AM told.

I went to the LDS research center in Eugene when I began doing genealogies. Finding the crypt of my Janke-Stuttmeister ancestors, who were Oddfellows, is one of the stepping stones to Completion.

“All’s well, that ends well!”

John ‘The Nazarite’

The new temple planned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Eugene and Springfield now has an official location and name.

The Willamette Valley Oregon Temple, first announced in April, will be built on a 10.5-acre site north of International Way and east of Corporate Way in north Springfield, according to a church news release. It’s located north of PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend.

The temple is planned to be single-story and approximately 30,000 square feet. An artist’s rendering was included in the release, but detailed design plans are still in development, the church said.

A map shows the location of the planned Willamette Valley Temple.

A private groundbreaking ceremony will be announced at a later time, according to communication director and temple media liaison Jeff Robinson.

He noted temples usually take two to five years to complete following the initial announcement, depending on the speed of the planning and permitting process.

“Not only will people in Eugene and Springfield benefit from the proximity of this temple, but it will shave off an hour or more of travel time for Latter-Day Saints along the coast and in the Cascades,” Robinson said in an email Sunday.

Springfield’s temple will be the third in Oregon, joining existing ones in Portland and Medford.

“Based on other existing temples, including those in Portland and Medford, the Eugene temple will ultimately exceed our community’s expectations in terms of beauty, thoughtfulness and contribution to the surrounding neighborhood,” Robinson said in April.

The temple was one of 20 announced for cities in Europe, Asia, Africa, Mexico and the Americas by church President Russell M. Nelson at the church’s general conference in April.https://www.usatodaynetworkservice.com/tangstatic/html/nreg/sf-q1a2z3be0d353f.min.html

“We want to bring the house of the Lord even closer to our members that they may have the sacred privilege of attending the temple as often as their circumstances allow,” Nelson said at the conference in Salt Lake City.

For the church, widely known as the Mormon church, temples are the most sacred places of worship, typically open only to members and reserved for special ceremonies such as marriages. Smaller, less ornate meeting houses, also called chapels, are used for regular Sunday services and community activities.

There are nearly 154,000 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oregon, along with roughly 300 congregations, according to the initial church release.

The first Oregon church settlements began with the arrival of Latter-day Saint businessmen in 1887, according to the church website. They then built a lumber mill on the North Powder River before persuading several hundred families to move to Oregon.

“Heavenly Mother is prominently present in scripture. She plays all the roles we would expect a divine mother to play. While her presence has been obscured by the loss of plain and precious parts of original texts, her extensive involvement in the lives of her children is nevertheless still apparent if the scriptures are closely read with attention to symbols and surrogates. As the modern Zeitgeist impels us to look for the feminine divine in the scriptural canon, voices speaking from the dust—especially the Book of Mormon—providentially give us background information necessary to find our divine Mother hidden in plain view.”

Mormonism and Freemasonry – Wikipedia

The State of Deseret (/ˌdɛzəˈrɛt/ (listen))[1] was a provisional state of the United States, proposed in 1849 by settlers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Salt Lake City. The provisional state existed for slightly over two years and was never recognized by the United States government. The name derives from the word for “honeybee” in the Book of Mormon.[2]

History[edit]

Formation of the proposal[edit]

When members of the LDS Church (the Mormon pioneers) settled in the Salt Lake Valley near the Great Salt Lake in 1847 (then part of Mexico), they wished to set up a government that would be recognized by the United States.

Initially, church president Brigham Young intended to apply for status as a territory, and sent John Milton Bernhisel to Washington, D.C., with the petition for territorial status. Realizing that California and New Mexico were applying for admission as states, Young changed his mind and decided to petition for statehood.[citation needed]

In March 1849, realizing that they did not have time to follow the usual steps towards statehood, Young and a group of church elders quickly drafted a state constitution based on that of Iowa, where the Mormons had temporarily settled, and sent the legislative records and constitution back to that state for printing, since no printing press existed in the Great Basin at the time. They then sent a second messenger with a copy of the state’s formal records and constitution to meet up with Bernhisel in Washington, D.C., and to petition for statehood rather than territorial status.[citation needed]

Territory of Deseret[edit]

The Deseret Stone used in the construction of the Washington Monument. The stone was donated by the territory in 1853 to represent the provisional state.

The provisional state encompassed most of the territory that had been acquired from Mexico the previous year as the Mexican Cession.

The Territory of Deseret would have comprised roughly all the lands between the Sierra Nevada and the Rockies, and between the border with Mexico northward to include parts of the Oregon Territory, as well as the coast of California south of the Santa Monica Mountains (including the existing settlements of Los Angeles and San Diego). This included the entire watershed of the Colorado River (excluding the lands south of the border with Mexico), as well as the entire area of the Great Basin.

The proposal encompassed nearly all of present-day Utah and Nevada, large portions of California and Arizona, and parts of ColoradoNew MexicoWyomingIdaho, and Oregon.

The relationship between Mormonism and Freemasonry began early in the life of Joseph Smith, founder of the Latter Day Saint movement. Smith’s older brother, Hyrum, and possibly his father were Freemasons while the family lived near Palmyra, New York.[1] In the late 1820s, the western New York region was swept with anti-Masonic fervor.

Nevertheless, by the 1840s, Smith and several prominent Latter Day Saints had become Freemasons and founded a Masonic Lodge in Nauvoo, Illinois on March 15, 1842. Soon after joining Freemasonry, Smith introduced the temple endowment ceremony including a number of symbolic elements that were very similar to those in Freemasonry. Smith remained a Freemason until his death; however, later leaders in the movement have distanced themselves from Freemasonry. In modern times, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) has clarified in its Now You Know series that its members may become Freemasons.[2]

ALBERT PIKE’S MASONIC LIBRARYA Civil War Incident
By Bro. JOSEPH FORT NEWTON, Litt. D.The Master Mason – May 1925
http://www.mastermason.com/lodge850/Reading/civilwar.htm

IN AN ADDRESS entitled “Albert Pike, the Mason,” delivered beforeIowa Consistory, No. 2, celebrating the centennial of his birth, inDecember, 1909, I made the following statement, in reference to anincident during the Civil War: “When the Union Army attacked LittleRock, the commanding general, Thomas H. Benton, Grand Master of Masons in Iowa, posted a guard to protect the home of Pike and his Masonic library.” The statement has been called in question a number of times, most recently by Brother Charles E. Rosenbaum, Lieutenant Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite, in the following letter:

My DEAR BROTHER NEWTON:

I have repeatedly seen in print sketches of the Life of General AlbertPike that have been credited to you. In each one of these occurs thestatement on the printed sheet which I enclose. I have underscored that part of it that I would very much like confirmed by you if you can give me any authority for the statement therein contained. Several times I have intended writing you on this subject to ask you the source of your information, but other and more important things intervened, and I deferred doing so.

The truth about the matter as I understand it is that the only Thomas H. Benton that we know anything about of national reputation was aSenator from the State of Missouri during the Civil War period. Thegeneral who took possession of Little Rock and its vicinity for the Federal Army was General Steele. These are undoubted facts. So far as the surrounding of General Pike’s home with soldiers to protect his library is concerned, that all reads very well, but it is likely as near the truth as Senator Thomas H. Benton being Grand Master of Iowa at the time and general in command of the Federal Forces in Little Rock.

Of course I realize that I am treading on dangerous ground to ask one as noted as yourself for information on a subject on which, no doubt, you are much better informed that I am, but if my information is wrong I certainly want the facts straight.

Thanking you in advance for any consideration you will give the subject, I remain Sincerely and fraternally yours,C.E. ROSENBAUM.

NATURALLY one does not keep in mind the authority – chapter andverse – for a statement made sixteen years ago. I referred the matter to the Library of the Grand Lodge of Iowa, where I first read it. The Grand Secretary, Brother C. C. Hunt, has been good enough to furnish the following brief of the facts, giving the reference where they may be found in the Proceedings of the Supreme Council:

In regard to Brother Rosenbaum’s letter questioning your statement regarding Thomas H. Benton, Grand Master of Masons in Iowa posting a guard to protect the home of Pike and his library, I would refer you to page 127, Proceedings of the Supreme Council of the Southern Jurisdiction for October 25, 1895. On that date the Supreme Council went in a body to Oak Hill Cemetery, Georgetown, District of Columbia, to hold appropriate services over the grave of Albert Pike. T.S. Parvin gave the memorial address and in reference to a remark of the Library of the Supreme Council there is printed the following:
“It is due to history and to the memory of a dear friend and Brother that an incident, of no little importance, touching our great Library, the gift to the Supreme Council of General Pike, be placed upon our records, that honor may be given to whom honor is due.

“I had the facts, first by letter, and then, upon his ‘return from the war,’ from the lips of Colonel Thomas Hart Benton, Jr., at the time Grand Master of Masons in Iowa (my superior officer). Thomas H. Benton, Jr. (“nephew of his uncle” of that name), ex-State Senator, Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Grand Master 1860-’63, entered the Union Army as Colonel of the 29th Iowa Infantry and was later promoted to the rank of brevet brigadier-general, and in command of a division encamped for a time at Little Rock, Arkansas.

“It was at this period, when the passions of the Union soldiers werearoused against General Pike, who was at the head of the Indians in the Confederate (Rebel, as they said) Army, that the soldiers of his division determined to burn the house and everything, including the valuable library of General Pike, wherever found. The Grand Master, Colonel Benton, hearing of this, rushed to its rescue, and to guard against, any further attempt at its destruction, made the General’s house his headquarters and placed a guard over his library.
“But for this noble deed of Iowa’s Grand Master, my bosom friend for half a century, this Supreme Council would today be without, instead of possessing, one of the most rare and valuable libraries in the land.

“General Benton was too modest to publish this, save to his intimatefriends. Of him we may say, in General Pike’s own words, “He has lived – the fruits of his labors live after him;” and you, my Brothers, are enjoying them, as it was this service that made it possible for General Pike in later years to place his library in our House of the Temple and dispose of it, as he did, for his honor and our good.”

There is, however, one mistake in the statement which Brother Rosenbaum criticizes, and that is in calling Thomas H. Benton the commanding general. At that time our Thomas H. Benton was a colonel, commanding the second brigade of a the third division, under General Steele. (See page 471, part 1, Volume 29, Series 1 of the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies.) Also, the Thomas H. Benton referred to as colonel at the time the Federal troops took possession at Little Rock, was at that time Grand Master of Iowa and was serving his second year. He was in the army at the time of the Grand Lodge communication in 1863 and his deputy acted for him in presiding over the Grand Lodge.

Thomas H. Benton was a nephew of the Senator Thomas H. Benton, to whom Brother Rosenbaum refers.

Every Grand President and President throughout the universe is bound to summon and convene his Knot on the 17th of March in each year, that being the anniversary festival of St. Patrick, the patron of the Order, except it fall on a Sunday, in which case the meeting shall be convened for the following day.

No Friendly Brother may quarrel with or affront another Brother. If,however, through the frailty of human nature a member of the Ordershall so far forget the love he owes his Brother and the obedience due to the statutes as to proceed to anger with him and to disturb the peace and tranquillity of the Order, he is not to decide his own quarrel according to the laws of pretended honour by the barbarous practice of duelling, but with due obedience he must submit his differences to the decision of the Knot who will cause the offender to make sufficient and honourable payment for his error. Any great breach of the known rules of friendship to a Brother or generaldisrespect for the rules of the Order will be punished with perpetualdiscontinuance and no person so totally discontinued may ever again be admitted to the Order.

The Friendly Brothers profess themselves to be lovers of all mankind, and are therefore to endeavour by their advice and example to promote and encourage among men the practice of all the social virtues.
Although there was no settled system of relief it was readily andhandsomely accorded to any Brother who might be in distress and want.

On this day, July 3, 2015, I found the Cyber State of Fremont, the first step in Fremont becoming the 51st. State.

The Republican Party is disintegrating as I predicted. Seven years ago I became a Republican so that my family history could help in the reconstruction of the Grand Party founded by my kindred, John Fremont, who married Jessie Benton, whose father Senator Thomas Hart Benton, was the proprietor of the Oregon Territory. Fremont played a big role in Oregon and California becoming a State. Fremont means ‘Guardian of Liberty’.

What I propose, is the leaders of the State of Jefferson adopt the ideals of John Fremont and the early Republicans, even change the name of their proposed state, to Fremont. Because Jessie and Susan Benton held Salons in Paris and San Francisco, I see the new State of Fremont offering a sanctuary to serious Artists and Writers. I suggest a Creative Homesteading Act that will give land away to creative souls. Port Orford, can be a creative colony for artists and writers.

The Internet will always be free in the State of Fremont. We can build a new Internet without the flaws that allow the original Internet to be hacked. I am going to invite the founders of Wikipedia to make Fremont their home. Indeed, we invite all men and women who are inventors and innovators to become citizens of Cyber Fremont, for the time being, until we can become a State with borders and land.

I also propose the return of free antennae Television, and the city of Fremont California becoming a Sympathetic City. We will establish a Bohemian Colony in Puerto Rico.

For the reason a supporter of the State of Jefferson employs two crossed Confederate flags on his site, I am compelled to put forth this Declaration. John Fremont was the first Presidential candidate for the newly founded Abolitionist Republican Party. John Breckenridge was running as the rival Vice President. Breckenridge was a close kin of Jessie Benton. It is my dream to see the bitterness of the Civil War be put behind us in the State of Fremont, and our new focus on Freedom, be a lighthouse to the Nation and the World. Being good Guardians of Freedom should be our goal. Let our statue of ‘The Guardian of Liberty’ be erected on our shore!

Shekinah In New Mormon Temple

Posted on May 25, 2022 by Royal Rosamond Press

An artist's rendering shows the Willamette Valley Temple planned to be built in Springfield.

When I awoke this morning (6-27-22) I recited my angel’s instructions….

“Spare the Mormon Church!”

I never get – easy instructions! Then, I get more guidance when I take my infamous Old Man Nap! I’ve had two, today, and was going down for a third. I got back and Google, and found…..Otto Fetting and the Hedrickites! The heavy burden I have been carrying, alone, is lifted! I will be online with my therapist tomorrow, and will report…..

“Insane no more!”

But more than that, I can spare Sister Mitchelle and Sister Higgens the anguish of informing me I am guity of being a apostate, and am a Lost Sheep following a breakaway branch of The Church of Christ of Later Day Saints, because……I HAVE FOUND my religion and, I have found my church.

I am a Hedrickite! And, I might be the Embodiment of John the Baptist, that I have testified to being in this blog – many times! This idea has resulted in the loss of friends and family. What put me in a deep spiritual trance was the rock formation in DaVinci’s painting. It looks like a flying buttress. I am reminded of the rock I fell on at Maclure’s Beach that caused my death.

“Fetting claimed to have been visited by John the Baptist thirty or more times between February 4, 1927 and his death on January 30, 1933. Fetting was reportedly given instruction concerning the doctrine and practices of Hedrickites and other factions of Christianity, together with directives to begin construction of a temple on the Temple Lot, including its exact dimensions.”

I was preparing a way, I could tell The Two Sisters, I died, Saw God, and own my creation, which means, I saw how GOD MADE ME! Collecting Family Trees – for a reason – can be proven by me and The Creator. I already hinted the new Temple near me will HOLD much more than THEY intended, which is usually problematic when it comes to Temples and Religions!

Then there is……The Augury, that I approached with a sense of humor, a mile of so from the empty lot where a cougar was spotted. I suggested a statue of Jesus – with cougar – be put at the entrance. The Sister’s laughed. We are made in His Image. Will we hear – His Joyful Laugh?

5 things you never knew about the Christus statue – LDS Living

After the three Mormon Sisters left my home, I mediated on the claim that Jesus came to America. Is there any real substantial proof of this? You could say whoever presents the BEST answer to this claim, and presents the more thorough doctrine backing up this unbelievable idea – becomes the head of the Mormon church. If Mormon Founders did anything special, they Americanized Jesus Christ. They put an image of him standing next to a covered wagon – and a team of oxen? Why staddle the fence any longer. Consider…..The Art.

The greatest artist to come out of Nebraska – by far – is Gutzon Borglum, who created Mount Rushmore and the Confederate monument that is in the news. Gutzon and his family lived in Omaha and Fremont City. When they moved to Los Angeles, my kindred, Jessie Benton-Fremont, became his patron. She sent Gutzon to famous art schools in Europe. Gutzon did a bust of Jessie, and a portrait of John Fremont.

Bertel Thorvaldsen claimed he descends claimed descent from Snorri Thorfinnsson, the first European born in America. My ex-wife Mary Ann Tharaldsen claims descent from Eric the Red. She was a artist. If religious artwork replaced religious doctrine, then, everyone would be well-pleased, except for the Jews and Muslims who claim they are not allowed t make “graven images”. How many religious books contain genealogies? I took over Herbert Armstrong’s Radio Church of God. I tried to save KORE which was an American Temple for British Israelism and the Family Trees it promotes. This morning I awoke with the idea I may have found an integral religion that will be a Repository for Royal Rosamond Press ‘A Newspaper For The Art’ and perhaps the longest genealogical search – in American History! I will post on GRANITE MOUNTAIN.

Could the Mormon Church end up like the Worldwide Church of God?

The following was originally printed in the May-June 2011 edition of Mormonism Researched. To request a free subscription, please visit here

Though I can’t recall addressing this publicly, I am often asked whether or not I envision the Mormon Church making a radical departure from heresy like the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) did back in the 1980s. For those unfamiliar with the history of the WCG, allow me to give a very brief overview.

The WCG was founded in 1934 by Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986) primarily as a radio ministry and was originally known as The Radio Church of God. The WCG name came about in 1968. Armstrong was probably best known for the controversial teaching of Anglo-Israelism (or British-Israelism). This teaching argues that the Ten Tribes of Israel are currently represented by those of Anglo-Saxon heritage (particularly those in Great Britain). Armstrong believed that true Christianity ceased to exist after the death of the apostles and that Christ’s church did not appear again until the institution of the WCG. He rejected the Trinity and became a Sabbatarian. He also taught that keeping the commandments was necessary as a means of salvation.

When Armstrong died in 1986, the WCG saw radical doctrinal changes under successor Joseph W. Tkach (1927-1995). When Tkach died in 1995, the leadership was left to his son, Joseph Tkach, Jr., who continued with his father’s reforms. So great were the changes that the WCG shed the label of cult and is now accepted in the Evangelical fold. As changes were being implemented, membership and revenue continued to drop. Some have estimated that the membership peaked at just under 150,000. In 2009, the WCG changed its name to Grace Communion International; its current membership stands at around 42,000.

I agree that what happened with the WCG was unprecedented. Never before have we seen such an incredible doctrinal transformation. Can this happen with the LDS Church? Of course, with God anything is possible, but I personally think the checks and balances inherent in Mormonism make this extremely unlikely. Remember, the WCG was ruled by only a few men. The LDS Church has a minimum of 15 men in the First Presidency and Council of the Twelve, all of whom would have to agree to abandon a host of heretical teachings.

Some have pointed to scattered comments from Mormon academics that give hope to imminent change; however, while such lay members may have their opinions (inconsistent as they often are), they have no authority to make doctrinal changes for the church.

Do those who think the LDS Church is changing ever listen to general conference and/or read church publications? Those of us who do have yet to see anything that hints of such a change. In fact, I myself have been a little surprised at how much traditional Mormonism has been dusted off recently and reintroduced publicly to the membership. Who would have imagined that two separate speakers at the general conference last October would highlight Ezra Taft Benson’s “Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet” speech? This is hardly a move towards orthodoxy!

President Gordon Hinckley stated in general conference,

“Those who observe us say that we are moving into the mainstream of religion. We are not changing. The world’s perception of us is changing. We teach the same doctrine” (Ensign, November 2001, p.5).

If the Mormons insist they are not modifying their doctrines, why are Christians claiming they are?

Even if President Monson did announce that Mormonism was just a bad joke, consider how many splinter groups would immediately form. Some have estimated that there are literally hundreds of splinter groups now claiming to teach true WCG doctrine, and that from among a peak membership of 150,000. Imagine the number from a church that currently represents 14 million members.

Fetting would be visited a total of 30 times by his “messenger” prior to his death on January 30, 1933. To the end of his life, Fetting insisted upon the veracity of his heavenly visitor, and the truth of the messages he was given. He authored the following testimony in 1929:TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:I make this solemn declaration before God this day, God being my witness, and I expect some day to stand before the judgement bar to answer for this statement. The manifestation and words of the visits of the Messenger are true. I have seen him from time to time. I heard his voice, I’ve seen his face, I saw the light, I felt his hand on my head and the slap on my shoulder. I was enwrapt in that wonderful Heavenly and Divine power, and the words I have given you are not my words, but the words God sent by John the Baptist. I want to make this statement, so that everyone may know that this is true; it matters little what will become of me hereafter, but I cannot, nor will not, deny the things I have seen and heard from the Heavenly Messenger as long as I have my right mind, and God gives me life and His grace to endure here on Earth. Others may make statements about me, but I want this to be understood that this statement is true. And I shall abide by the advice and instructions given by the Messenger regardless of what men may say.

Otto Fetting

Otto Fetting (November 20, 1871 – January 30, 1933) was an American realtor and editor from Port Huron, Michigan who served first as a pastor and evangelist in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and then later as an apostle in the Church of Christ (Temple Lot), commonly referred to as the “Hedrickites”. Fetting claimed to have been visited by John the Baptist thirty or more times between February 4, 1927 and his death on January 30, 1933. Fetting was reportedly given instruction concerning the doctrine and practices of Hedrickites and other factions of Christianity, together with directives to begin construction of a temple on the Temple Lot, including its exact dimensions.

After initially accepting his first eleven revelations, a Hedrickite conference vote in early October 1929 rejected a key portion of Fetting’s twelfth message, leading him to found the “Church of Jesus Christ” on April 8, 1930. This breakaway faction, later referred to as “Church of Christ”, subsequently gave birth to additional rival factions after Fetting’s death, which have still further subdivided. These “Fettingite” or “Dravesite” (named after W.A. Draves, a follower of Fetting) factions include: the Church of Christ “With the Elijah Message” Established Anew 1929; the Church of Christ (Restored); the Church of Christ (Assured Way)“The Church of Christ with the Elijah Message, Established in 1929 AnewThe Church of Christ with the Elijah Message, Inc. and the Church of Christ at Halley’s Bluff.

Otto Fetting and the Hedrickites[edit]

Otto Fetting was born in Casco, Michigan. Eventually making his home in nearby Port Huron, Michigan, he was baptised into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on February 9, 1891, and ordained to its priesthood in 1899. In 1925, dismayed by the “Supreme Directional Control” controversy within the RLDS church, Fetting switched his allegiance to the Temple Lot organization. At the time, this did not require rebaptism or reordination, as each group accepted the priesthood and sacraments of the other. In the spring of 1926, he was among seven men ordained to be Apostles in the Church of Christ.

Visitation by John the Baptist[edit]

Otto Fetting on April 6, 1929 praying at a groundbreaking ceremony for a proposed Temple.

On February 4, 1927, Otto Fetting claimed that he had been visited by John the Baptist, who delivered a message for him to give to the Hedrickite organization. This message commanded construction of the long-awaited Temple in Independence, Missouri, first foretold by Latter Day Saint founder Joseph Smith in 1831. The Temple Lot church had a long history of direction via revelation and angel visits, and thus was originally receptive to these alleged visits of the Biblical prophet, publishing Fetting’s messages in their monthly periodical Zion’s Advocate. They also began work on the temple with a groundbreaking ceremony held on April 6, 1929. According to Fetting, the Hedrickites were given seven years to complete the structure.

Fetting’s “visitor” revealed various architectural details for the building, and specifically directed surveyors to move their markers ten feet to the east of where they had originally been placed. The angel also revealed the location of two of Joseph Smith’s original marker stones, which Smith had buried ninety-eight years before to indicate the location for his planned temple. He also indicated that the “Articles of Faith and Practice” of the Temple Lot church were correct, and should not be changed from their original form. On other occasions, the messenger indicated particular men to be ordained within the organization, including to its Quorum of Twelve Apostles.

The twelfth message[edit]

Although the Temple Lot organization had enthusiastically accepted the first eleven of Fetting’s messages, this would not hold true for the twelfth. In verse four of this missive, John the Baptist states that all persons coming into the Church of Christ must be rebaptized, as “the Lord has rejected all creeds and factions of men”. While this reflects the practice of the majority of Latter Day Saint denominations (including the Temple Lot church itself, today), it did not reflect the policy of the Temple Lot church at the time, which accepted members during this period from the Reorganized church, certain other Latter Day Saint organizations, and Joseph Smith’s pre-1844 church on their original baptisms. This message equally declared Fetting to have been given the same “keys to the priesthood” that were given to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery on May 15, 1829.

Controversy over the meaning and application of Fetting’s twelfth message became so great that Fetting himself was “silenced” in October 1929 by the Temple Lot organization. Choosing to withdraw rather than continue under such a restriction, Fetting led approximately half of the Church of Christ members (including some of its apostles) to found an organization of his own, which became known as the Church of Christ (Fettingite). Since the main Temple Lot organization retained possession of the Temple Lot and its meetinghouse, Fetting’s organization met in members’ homes for a considerable period prior to building their own worship facilities.

Death and testimonial[edit]

Fetting would be visited a total of 30 times by his “messenger” prior to his death on January 30, 1933. To the end of his life, Fetting insisted upon the veracity of his heavenly visitor, and the truth of the messages he was given. He authored the following testimony in 1929:TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:I make this solemn declaration before God this day, God being my witness, and I expect some day to stand before the judgement bar to answer for this statement. The manifestation and words of the visits of the Messenger are true. Division of the Fettingite organization[edit]

Four years after Fetting’s death, a young Fettingite Elder named William A. Draves from Nucla, Colorado claimed that the same messenger who had appeared to Fetting had begun to appear to him, as well. While many of Fetting’s followers accepted Draves and his messages, some did not, leading to a split in the Fettingite organization in 1939. Draves’ adherents formed the Church of Christ with the Elijah Message, which claims to be the sole legitimate continuance of Fetting’s original organization. Draves himself would receive a total of 90 messages prior to his death in 1994, all of which were combined with Fetting’s into a book entitled The Word of the Lord Brought to Mankind by an Angel.

The Fettingites who rejected Draves’ claims later split into two separate organizations, divided by the decision of the Church of Christ (Fettingite)—the remnant in Independence who rejected William Draves’ claims—to introduce the Saturday Sabbath into their organization during the 1950s under Apostle S.T. Bronson. A group of congregations in Louisiana and Mississippi, under the leadership of A.C. DeWolf, rejected this change and formed the Church of Christ (Restored), which continues to observe Sunday as their day of worship.

Other than disagreeing as to the proper day for worship, the “Bronsonite” and “DeWolf” organizations remain virtually identical in doctrine and practice. Both of them accept Fetting’s ministry and messages, but not Draves’. Each rejects the other, and considers itself the sole true continuation of Otto Fetting’s church. Draves’ organization, on the other hand, rejects both of these groups, accepting their founder’s messages and those of Otto Fetting.

The Church of Christ at Halley’s Bluff has no connection with any of these organizations, though it does accept Fetting’s message (but not those of Draves).

This morning I found the portal from which I came, and the way I will pass again, and again. When I died on McClure’s Beach in 1967, I saw God. He restored me to life. Above are photographs of the ruins of Chateau Rosemont, that may be from where my ancestors hail.

I have seen God. I have gone through the Portal of The Infinite Truth!

Below is the path I took to get to the rock at McLure’s Beach. Note the path in Leonardo’s painting. Note the portal in the rock above the cave. After falling on the zenith of the rock, my two friends had to help me down. I was bleeding profusely from a deep gash in the palm of my hand. They carried me over the land bridge that the sun sets in the back of, like the eye of God, whom I saw on the other side of this rock, sitting on a rock, with one sandal in the sea, and the other, on the sand. He had his back to me.

Seeing God, has long been a problem for me. Not seeing God, has long been a problem for you. And, that is that!

Because these portals appeared, it is clear I descend from the Habsburgs who are in this large painting I tried to get returned to Austria. It belongs here in Lane County, with me.

1898 depiction of the Restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood.

Church members initially viewed priesthood as a charismatic authority. By 1832, however, Smith indicated for the first time, in an unpublished history, that the priesthood had been received by the “ministering of Angels”[25] In 1834, Oliver Cowdery provided the first public announcement that the priesthood had been conferred by John the Baptist on May 15, 1829. Cowdery’s account was essentially confirmed by Smith, who described it as follows:

[W]e … went into the woods to pray and inquire of the Lord respecting baptism for the remission of sins, that we found mentioned in the translation of the plates, The Book of Mormon. … While we were thus employed, praying and calling upon the Lord, a messenger from heaven descended in a cloud of light, and having laid his hands upon us, he ordained us, saying:

Upon you my fellow servants, in the name of Messiah, I confer the Priesthood of Aaron, which holds the keys of the ministering of angels, and of the gospel of repentance, and of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; and this shall never be taken again from the earth until the sons of Levi do offer again an offering unto the Lord in righteousness.

He said this Aaronic Priesthood had not the power of laying on hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost, but that this should be conferred on us hereafter; and he commanded us to go and be baptized, and gave us directions that I should baptize Oliver Cowdery, and that afterwards he should baptize me.

Accordingly we went and were baptized. …

The messenger who visited us on this occasion and conferred this Priesthood upon us, said that his name was John, the same that is called John the Baptist in the New Testament, and that he acted under the direction of Peter, James and John, who held the keys of the Priesthood of Melchizedek, which Priesthood, he said, would in due time be conferred on us, and that I should be called the first Elder of the Church, and he (Oliver Cowdery) the second. …

Immediately on our coming up out of the water after we had been baptized, we experienced great and glorious blessings from our Heavenly Father. No sooner had I baptized Oliver Cowdery, than the Holy Ghost fell upon him, and he stood up and prophesied many things which should shortly come to pass. And again, so soon as I had been baptized by him, I also had the spirit of prophecy, when, standing up, I prophesied concerning the rise of this Church, and many other things connected with the Church, and this generation of the children of men. We were filled with the Holy Ghost, and rejoiced in the God of our salvation.

Priesthood (Latter Day Saints)

In the Latter Day Saint movementpriesthood is the power and authority of God given to man, including the authority to perform ordinances and to act as a leader in the church. A group of priesthood holders is referred to as a quorum.

Priesthood denotes elements of both power and authority. The priesthood includes the power Jesus gave his apostles to perform miracles such as the casting out of devils and the healing of sick (Luke 9:1). Latter Day Saints believe that the Biblical miracles performed by prophets and apostles were performed by the power of priesthood, including the miracles of Jesus, who holds all of the keys of the priesthood. The priesthood is formally known as the “Priesthood after the Order of the Son of God”, but to avoid the too frequent use of the name of deity, the priesthood is referred to as the Melchizedek priesthood (Melchizedek being the high priest to whom Abraham paid tithes).

The fact is, the 1941 move for statehood was mostly a publicity stunt. It was crafted over drinks by two guys who seem right out of central casting for a Hollywood movie — a high-rolling, back-slapping business promoter and a hard-drinking, wildly imaginative newspaper man.

The newsman actually won a Pulitzer prize for his part in the affair. His name was Stanton Delaplane; he wrote for the San Francisco Chronicle.

The business promoter was a stocky, dynamic man named Gilbert E. Gable, onetime dinosaur egg hunter, movie maker, NBC radio-show star and (he claimed) Navajo Indian chief. In 1941, he was mayor of the tiny Oregon town of Port Orford and, for a brief and shining moment, governor of the State of Jefferson.

The radio star

By the early 1930s, Gable had gotten involved in the new world of radio broadcasting with an NBC show called “Highway of Adventure” (sometimes listed as “High Road to Adventure”), in which he recounted spine-tingling moments from the previous dozen years of hunting for dinosaur eggs and exploring unknown landscapes. He also sought and won the hand of Miss Paulina Stearns, daughter of a wealthy Michigan timber family. And then, in 1933, he went to Port Orford — probably to search for the legendary Port Orford Meteorite. It was a historic moment indeed.

“Two years later, to the amazement of its 300 inhabitants, Gilbert Gable appeared at Port Orford, Ore., and formed six companies to promote it as the only natural deep-water harbor on the rugged coast between Puget Sound and the Golden Gate,” reports TIME Magazine in its somewhat supercilious 1938 article.

A host of candidates were nominated for the Vice Presidency, but a number of them attempted to withdraw themselves from consideration, among them the eventual nominee, John C. However, following a draft effort lead by the delegation from Vermont, Breckinridge was nominated on the second ballot.

Frémont first met frontiersman Kit Carson on a Missouri River steamboat in St. Louis during the summer of 1842. Frémont was preparing to lead his first expedition and was looking for a guide to take him to South Pass, in present-day Wyoming. South Pass, discovered by Jedediah Smith, was by that time the most popular way across the continental divide. Carson offered his services, as he had spent much time in the area. The five-month journey, made with 25 men, was a success. He wrote A Report on an Exploration of the Country Lying between the Missouri River and the Rocky Mountains on the Line of the Kansas and Great Platte Rivers, which was printed in newspapers across the country; the public embraced his vision of the west not as a place of danger but wide open and inviting lands to be settled.[17] As Hampton Sides says, “Fremont became an instant celebrity, a champion of expansion, a conqueror wielding not a sword but a compass and a transit.”[17] Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said after the report, “Fremont has touched my imagination. What a wild life, and what a fresh kind of existence! But ah, the discomforts!”[17] The success led to a new expedition planned for the next summer.

Second expedition[edit]

Frémont’s successful first expedition led quickly to a second, begun in the summer of 1843. The more ambitious goal this time was to map and describe the second half of the Oregon Trail, from South Pass to the Oregon Country. Due to Carson’s proven skills as a guide, Fremont invited him to join the second expedition. They followed a route north of the Great Salt Lake, down the Snake River to the Columbia River and into Oregon.

Farther west along the Columbia, they came within sight of the Cascade Range peaks and mapped Mount St. Helens and Mount Hood. Rather than continue west through the Columbia River gorge to Fort Vancouver, the party turned south and followed Fall Creek to its headwaters near the present-day northern border of California.

Looping back to the east to stay on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, they turned south again as far as present-day Minden, Nevada. From there, the expedition turned west into the Sierra Nevada, becoming some of the first Americans to see Lake Tahoe. Carson led the party to a new pass through the Sierra, which Frémont named Carson Pass in his honor. Once successfully over the high pass, the party descended the American River valley to Sutter’s Fort (Spanish: Nueva Helvetia) at present-day Sacramento, California.

Polls show millennials are likely to favor gay marriage regardless of their political party.

Sixty-one percent of Republicans between the ages of 18 and 34 back gay marriage, according to a Project Right Side and American Unity Fund poll last month. That’s 4 percentage points higher than the 57 percent support among all voters. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.19 percentage points.

On the issue of the Confederate flag, another hot-button topic on which public opinion has rapidly shifted following a massacre in a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, Perry again deferred to the states. When asked for his thoughts on whether South Carolina ought to take down a Confederate battle flag flying outside its state capitol, he said it was a question for the state’s residents. He quickly pivoted to discussing efforts to ban the flag from license plates in Texas while he was governor.

Tax Rebellion in the State of Franklin

The State of Jefferson is a proposed U.S. state that would span the contiguous, mostly rural area of southern Oregon and northern California, where several attempts to separate from Oregon and California, respectively, have taken place in order to gain statehood.

This region on the Pacific Coast is the most famous of several that have sought to adopt the name of Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States. Thomas Jefferson sent the Lewis and Clark expedition into the Pacific Northwest in 1803, and envisioned the establishment of an independent nation in the western portion of North America which he dubbed the “Republic of the Pacific”,[1] hence the association of his name

The State of Franklin (also the Free Republic of Franklin or the State of Frankland[note 1]) was an unrecognized, autonomous “territory” located in what is today eastern Tennessee. Franklin was created in 1784 from part of the territory west of the Appalachian Mountains that had been offered by North Carolina as a cession to Congress to help pay off debts related to the American War for Independence. It was founded with the intent of becoming the fourteenth state of the new United States.

Franklin’s first capital was Jonesborough. After the summer of 1785, the government of Franklin (which was by then based in Greeneville), ruled as a “parallel government” running alongside (but not harmoniously with) a re-established North Carolina bureaucracy. Franklin was never admitted into the union. The extra-legal state existed for only about four and a half years, ostensibly as a republic, after which North Carolina re-assumed full control of the area.

Around six this morning I read an article saying Pacific Source is done negotiating, and is quitting serving 90,000 people who live in Lane County located in the State of Oregon – that is being invaded by General Donald’s Crusader Army. Pete Hesgeth keeps eluding to the lie God is helping with our Armed Forces. Has ANTIFA wiped out medical care for tens of thousands? And now the Democrats are going to close down our Government in two days over these issues?

WHO HAS GONE INSANE?

Our Raging President is out for revenge – starting with the real crazy leftist beatnik hippies of Portland, that were founded by Ken Kesey, whose image adorns the side of the Oddfellows building in downtown Springfield. I am a member.

I just sent this message to Neil Laudati, Assistant City Manager of Springfield.

Dear Neil; I insist you set up an appointment with me and the Mayor. Four days ago I discovered that PeaceHealth was founded by Sister Francis Clare, who belonged to the Poor Clares. My mother’s side of the family befriended the Order of Saint Francis that fled the Kulturkampf in German and was befriended by the Stark and Wieneles family in Iowa. These two families supplied this Order with living flesh and blood because, Sister’s and Fathers do not mate and have children.

My blood relatives took care of the sick, and those who suffered from polio. I want to enjoin any lawsuit the City of Springfield has in regards to the approval of a land sale to Peacehealth to build Timber Springs, Was there a City Hall hearing? Can I see the minutes and other pertinent documents so that my attorney can make a case of breach of contract?

But, more than that, I want to win a lawsuit that will remove the cross on the front of Sacred Heart Hospital, Riverbend. This is the cross of Sister Fancies Clare. How many times has it been used to secure contracts, that may appear to favor Jesus? This Wizard of Oz, sham, is at an end. I founded the Face to Face political party that is dedicated to making sure all who are deemed Sick and Needy – get what’s coming to them. The Tea Party, carrying crosses and guns, are two days away from shutting our Government down, because they hate the truth a Black President cared for the health of ALL AMERICANS.

The FTF party will run a Christian white man for President, so there will be no more grumbling from the Christian Nationalist Racists. On my blog, Royal Rosamond Press, you will find members of the Stark family who made new bells for St.Marys that was bombed by the Royal air force on Palm Sunday. Theodor Stark owned a very successful contracting company in Iowa. Our kin founded Briar Cliff College.

Bushnell Bible college bought Sacred Hearts in Eugene, and erected a bell tower. I insist the Mayor of Springfield arrange a Biblical Showdown so I can best them with my Biblical Knowledge that did not cost any institution a dime. I am a high school dropout who read the Bible for the first time at forty. I was a new member of AA, and had graduated from Serenity Lane.

Sincerely

On Palm Sunday, March 29, 1942, Allied forces bombed the city of Lübeck in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Lübeck was the first German city to be attacked by a massive Royal Air Force air raid. By the time the bombing raids were done, the RAF had dropped 400 tons of bombs and destroyed or damaged more than half the buildings in Lübeck. One structure that sustained extreme damage was St. Mary’s church.

On Aug. 26, Bushnell held a ribbon cutting for Goodrich Hall and Donna Racine Pomajevich Bell Tower, signifying the grand reopening of the school’s oldest halls and the unveiling of the new tower, which includes an elevator for accessibility as well as a single-locking restroom on each floor.

State officials say they will secure a replacement provider for the more than 90,000 Oregon Health Plan members in Lane County now served by PacificSource. Trillium, the county’s other coordinated care organization, said it can support the transition.

This story has been updated to incorporate new statements from PacificSource.

Contract negotiations between PacificSource and the Oregon Health Authority have ended without a new agreement, leaving the coverage of more than 90,000 people on the Medicaid-funded Oregon Health Plan to transition to another provider.

State officials said they intend to have a new provider in place by the start of the year, when the contract with PacificSource expires. Trillium, the other organization providing Oregon Health Plan coverage in Lane County, said it has the capacity to serve people currently enrolled with PacificSource.

PacificSource Community Solutions and Trillium Community Health Plans are coordinated care organizations (CCO), which manage networks of providers and care for people who are low-income for the state.

Last week, the Springfield-based insurer PacificSource informed the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) of its intent to not renew its contract as a CCO in Lane County. PacificSource will continue serving Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members in eight other counties, however.

PacificSource cited as reasons: rising costs, growing demand for behavioral health care and state reimbursement rates that executives said do not cover expenses.

After a week of uncertainty, the health authority’s communication team confirmed Friday, Sept. 26, that by filing its intent to not renew Sept. 18, PacificSource will no longer be a CCO in Lane County.

“CCO rate negotiations for 2026 are over,” Oregon Health Authority spokesperson Kristen Lambert said. “It is certain they will no longer be a CCO in Lane County in 2026.”

She reiterated: “There will be no immediate changes to benefits for providers, community members, or OHP members. OHA will be working closely with PacificSource, as with all of our CCOs, to ensure continuity of care for members in Lane County.”

The Oregon Health Authority can require PacificSource to provide up to 90 additional days of coverage into 2026 for Oregon Health Plan members, even without a contract renewal, if a new provider has not been found, Lambert said.

PacificSource leadership said last week it would be open to alternatives with Oregon Health Authority — discussions that remain on the table, said Erin Fair Taylor, the company’s vice president of Medicaid programs.

“After many conversations with OHA over the past few months, we were unable to arrive at a solution,” said Taylor. “We are still committed and open to working with OHA to find a sustainable path forward.”

PacificSource spokesperson Lauren Thompson also said that it would work with other CCOs to transition care. The other CCO in Lane County is Trillium, serving about 30,000 county residents.

In response to whether Trillium could absorb 90,000 patients, spokesperson Courtney Johnson said in an email, “Trillium has the capacity to support this transition.”

“Trillium recognizes the importance of stability in health care, especially during times of transition, and we are working closely with the Oregon Health Authority to provide continuity of care for all impacted members in our communities,” she said.

Oregon Health Authority did not provide specific details about CCO negotiations, nor did Gov. Tina Kotek’s office.

Spokesperson Lucas Bezerra said Kotek is “closely monitoring PacificSource’s decision not to renew its contract” and “is engaged with OHA leadership to minimize care disruption for members and ensure adequate coverage in the region.”

The Broken Bells of St. Mary’s

The bells remain in a shattered heap exactly as they fell when the church was bombed in World War II.

About

St. Mary’s stands tallest amongst the seven churches in Lübeck. The French Gothic style church has two towers that reach over 400 feet and the tallest vaulted brick ceiling in the world. Your eyes are drawn upward to the soaring ceiling, artwork, and windows. But if you keep your eyes down, you’ll find a stark reminder of Lübeck’s role during World War II.

The church has been magnificently restored, as has the entire city, which now boasts its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But one feature of the church was never repaired: the bells.

During the bombing, the church bells fell from nearly 400 feet and crashed into the floor. Today they remain exactly as they fell. The bells are in a shattered heap, partially melted into the ground beneath the vault, providing a stark contrast to the polish and grandeur of the rest of the church. The damaged sight serves as a peace memorial and is visible behind an iron gate.

Know Before You Go

St Mary’s is an operating church that holds services and concerts regularly. The church is open to the public starting at 10 a.m. and closes between 4-6 p.m. depending on the time of year. There is a 2 Euro admission but free if you are attending mass or going to pray. Guided tours are available and they have brochures in German and English if you prefer a self-guided tour.

The bells of St. Mary’s Church in Lübeck, Germany, have a poignant connection to the Stark family of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In the 1920s, Theodor Stark, a German immigrant who became a construction company owner in Iowa, donated bells to replace those confiscated during World War I. Less than two decades later, these new bells were destroyed during a World War II bombing raid.

The Stark family’s donation

  • The donors: Brothers Theodore and Robert Stark, originally from Germany, became successful in America and remained devoted to their homeland. Theodor Stark owned a construction company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
  • The initial gift: Following the confiscation of the church bells during World War I, Theodor Stark donated money for replacements.
  • A second donation: Due to inflation, the initial donation lost its value, so Stark gave another substantial sum.
  • The new bells: The bells were cast in Bremen and consecrated at St. Mary’s Church in Lübeck in May 1924, with the Stark family being given the sponsorship.

The bells’ fate during World War II

  • The bombing: On Palm Sunday, March 29, 1942, the Royal Air Force conducted a major bombing raid on Lübeck, the first substantial air attack on a German city.
  • Destruction of the bells: St. Mary’s Church was severely damaged in the attack. The bells in the tower were dislodged by the fire and came crashing down to the floor, where they shattered.
  • The memorial: As a stark reminder of the war, the shattered remains of the bells were left in a small side chapel, known as the memorial chapel, where they can still be seen today.

The bells represent a full circle of German history, from a donation by German-Americans to heal the wounds of one war, to their destruction in the next.

Evangelical leaders who surround The Impeached President, have promised millions of American Citizens a Kingdom of God. They are not qualified to make this offer. They bid The Impeached President to return prayers back in our schools to back up their false claims as Kingdom Givers. Our National Intelligence has asked Congress not to make their report public for fear it will enrage The Impeached President who divided our Nation in twain on the orders of these false prophets and Kingdom Makers! They too should be arrested for undermining the Government of the United States – forever – and for destroying our Diplomatic Core.

Thomas Jefferson believed the Louisiana Purchase was illegal and went against the Constitution of the first Thirteen States. I concur.

The Second Kingdom of God shall be called….Lousiana! The True Knowledge of God shall prevail! Ignorance will be vanquished!

The blue area shall be given to the Dakota People. Alaska will be a Kingdom. The Gadson Purchase will be the Kingdom of the Kurds. The pink section will be the Kingdom of California. The brown area will be the American Kingdom. This is where the Evangelicals will live so they can continue to argue and pray for Doomsday, while the rest of North America, lives in peace!

So bet it

I do see a purple are down there. This will be the Kingdom of Artica. Only artists, writers, and other creative people can dwell here.

Need I say, there will be a Kingdom of Texas.

Reclaiming Louisiana Territory For The Angvians

Posted on August 24, 2018by Royal Rosamond Press

Above are photos of Virginia Hambley, and I protesting the second Iraq war. I am reminding people of Reagan’s ‘Evil Empire’ and claiming Bush’s ‘Axis of Evil’ is fake. That couple is her kindred in line for the throne of France.

Now that I am aware I am the embodiment of John Dee, and a descendant of Dee’s compatriots, the Rosenberg: and with Sir Francis Drake claiming California for Queen Elizabeth, my claim of the Lousiana Territory, is rendered more valid.

Both the Democrats and Republicans are failing to do their job during our Constitutional Crisis due to Rapture Rat Voters and the coming elections. I have warned my readers for fifteen years these hereitcs will take over, and destroy, our Democracy. Anticipating this sad state of affairs I claimed the Lousiana Territory.

https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/french-royalists-commemorate-murder-of-king-louis-xvi

My kindred, John Fremont, and the Benton family, secured California, and the Oregon Territory from Britain, and the Habsburg family. John was the first Republican candidate for President, which he co-founded. His party lies in disgrace and ruin.

PARIS (ChurchMilitant.com) – On the 224th anniversary of the execution of King Louis XVI, French royalists gathered Saturday on Place de la Révolution (now Place de la Concorde) to commemorate his death. And in the Basilica of St-Denis, Prince Louis-Alphonse de Bourbon, the Duke of Anjou and descendant of the French kings, attended a Requiem Mass with his wife, Princess Marie-Marguerite.

The group that congregated on the Place de la Révolution, site of the king’s execution, waved flags bearing fleurs-de-lis — symbol of Royal France — and offered speeches honoring the memory of the fallen monarch, killed by guillotine on January 21, 1793, after five months’ imprisonment at the hands of anti-Catholic Jacobins. Heavily influenced by freemasonry, the revolutionaries had protested against the ancien régime, represented by the Catholic Church and the Catholic monarchy.

Virginia and I are no longer engaged to be married. I posted this for the Russian Trolls to see. Putin wants to bring back the Russian Monarchy. I wanted to get in his way – and Trumps. If you recall the Bourbons opposed Napoleon. Well, Virginia’s family are the Bourbon who tried to stop the Emperor who illegally sold the Lousiana Territory which I give to Virginia as an engagement gift. She, and her family, thought/think I am mad. But I was out to thwart the Evangelicals who think Putin is a co-savior of religion in America. I am a real Freedom Fighter, and the Real James Bond, who would be tackling all the issues that I have met head-on, without M-16’s help. I might be the only man on the job! Mormon Temple in Oakland, California

r/evilbuildings - Mormon Temple in Oakland, California

While living in the shadow of the LDS Temple in Oakland, I had a dream about a fire. My dream came true, thus I am a prophet after Samuel the Nazarite. I am authoring a book that concludes Jesus declared he was going to build a new temple on the Mount of Olives that would rival the Herodian temple. This is the motive for his arrest and execution. John the Baptist and his priestly father designdthis temple in all aspects. It was blessed by the priesthood who served in the Holy of Holies. When the elder of the LDS church ADOPTED the statue off Christus – they brought my bloodline into the core of the church – to indicate the LDS church – WAS A CHRISTIAN CHURCH! Why would there be any doubt? let me count the ways. I conclude…..

“All’s well, that ends well!”

There are several profound indications that I have been chosen to…..REFORM THE LDS. I met two sisters in the produce section of Wal-Mart and I told Sister Higgens the secret of what Jesus wrote in the dust. I suggested she read what rabbis wrote about The Sotah.

  1. My kin, Senator Thomas Hart Benton did not help build their Zionist temple in Missouri. He may have secretly led the opposition – because he was a Freemason? I told the three LDS Sister the Shekinah wants to dwell in the new Eurgene Temple. The Shekinah has everything to do with the true Zion.

I believe this blog was examined to see if…………? I believe the darkness around me – wato s shocking. Below is the Mariage certificate my nephew came to own. He did not tell me his mother, was dead. When I found out, he asked if i wanted anything. I asked for my painting he never delivered. He hates me because I pointed out his lies. I forgot about this certificate. Another LDS Sister suggested my deceased kin – want to be SAVED – via their genealogies. I was not told my father was dead, and found out three years later when I talked to a cousin doing the Presco family tree. I was not told my mother was dying. Demons have been trying to destroy My Family Tree. WHY? I am being – ELECTED! I believe the LDS is the REPSITORY for ‘Royal Rosamond Press’.

Sister Higgens stood in my living room and announced we are in the End of Days. The day of the fire I drove to the top of the road that begins seventy yards past the entrance to the temple and saw the dark ceiling of smoke that almost block out the sun.

Stop judging me. I was born in Oakland during a star shower. We might pass through the tail of a comet this weekend. You need to examine my revelations – with real scholarship. I am already in the door. You can say the life-size statue of Christus overlooking my Stuttmeister ancestors – is a Trojan Horse?

Latter-day Saints Join Efforts after Oakland Fire (churchofjesuschrist.org)

On Sunday, October 20, Bishop Samuel Richard Wickel, Jr., of the Oakland Third Ward, in the Oakland California Stake, had finished Church meetings and was visiting with members when word came that parts of the city were burning. He sent everyone home.

“We could see the fire coming our way. It was about 2:00 p. m. The fire fighters kept fighting the fire. By 4:00 p. m. we had to leave. We could see a wall of flames shooting thirty to forty feet in the air.”

Sister Margaret Wickel said, “It was so dark in our house from the intense smoke that we had to use flashlights to find the sleeping bags and to read our list of phone numbers.”

“We moved a block away,” Bishop Wickel continued, “and stood and watched our homes. The heat was so bad and the air was so bad that we could hardly breathe. We could see the wall of flame coming to our house, and my wife said, ‘Let’s leave. I can’t stand to see our home go.’”

Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Matthew (New York City) – Wikipedia

The recent laudable movement within the Church to discard a traditional parochialism for a more universal appeal is very much in evidence. Pronouncements and travels of Church leaders, the establishment of seminary and institute programs outside of North America and the expanded use of the mass media in the missionary effort all dramatize the new thrust. Undoubtedly, this worldwide emphasis has also been one of the stimuli behind the interest in exploring the history of Mormonism in foreign lands. An additional motive is that former missionaries sometimes take this route to express their affection for the areas and people of their service. The book by Gilbert Scharffs, Mormonism in Germany: A History of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany falls into this category, attempting, in the author’s words, “. . . to relate the dramatic, untold story of the growth and survival of the Church . . . in Germany. . . .” Such studies, if well done, should be welcomed by the Church membership, not only as a reflection of the vigor of the Church, but for their potential contribution toward a greater mutual understanding and brotherhood among Church members the world over.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Matthew is the oldest Lutheran congregation in North America. The congregation is a member of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. Since 2006, the congregation has been located at the Cornerstone Center, 178 Bennett Avenue in ManhattanNew York City. The congregation has been known by different names, only acquiring the name St. Matthew in 1822 and using it exclusively since 1838.[3][2][4]

The congregation was founded in 1643 by Dutch Lutherans in New Amsterdam but the church was not chartered until December 6, 1664, when the new governor, Richard Nicolls, issued a charter after the British had taken control of the colony in April 1664.[2]

Here is the marriage certificate of Rudolph Stuttmeister who lost his mother at birth. The Stuttmeisters are San Francisco Pioneers. When I become Governor of the Great Bohemian State of California, I will pass a law making it illegal for anyone to sell, or attempt to sell, anyone’s family tree to outsiders, especially if they are hostile towards Heirs of said tree. My late sister, Victoria Presco, had this on her wall. Where is it?

My Broderick cousin who lives in Berlin has been helping me compile some of our family history that my natal family knew very little about, especially Christine Rosamond Benton. Therefor, our history could not be sold to outsiders. I am not alone. Others are appalled at what they have read. The Carmel Art Feeding Frenzy resembles the denuding of our forests that concerned Robert Lewis Stevenson, a Carmel Pioneer.

I will be sending out a three page synopsis of my story that will begin with me having my mother call up Sydney Morris to find out what was going on. Morris told Rosemary he and Stacey Pierrot had emptied her daughters home of everything but a large box of family photographs.

“Do you want them?” Morris asked.

“Of course….I want them!” answered the mother of a world famous woman artist, who is demonized…

Predicting The Oakland Fire

Consider this my Christmas Card. Life is short. I will ignore all who disrespect me, and, those who show me no respect.

Joel 2:28
“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

A week before the Oakland Fire I had a dream about it. I saw smoke and helicopters. I lived at 2816 London Rd below the Mormon Temple. It was a heavily wood canyon with no exit. I asked my landlord if I could clear some of the brush around his house, and remove pine needles he asked why. I told him about my dream.

The morning of October 20, 1991, Al called me up and said;

“Greg! You’re dreams on T.V. Turn on the news!”

The fire was two miles away when Al left to do errands. I asked him if hee wanted me to take his dog and family photos with me if the fire got near. He scoffed, let go a laugh.

“The fire won’t come anywhere near!”

In the dream, Al and I have manned hoses and are watering the brush around the house. Our neighbor calls and asked if I saw the flames come into our canyon.

“No! I just saw the smoke.”

Twenty minutes later, three cars were parked in her driveway loaded with her friend’s possessions. There was antique furniture tied on the roof. This was scary. These people’s homes were in flames they fleeing for safety based upon a Prophets Dream.

Suddenly, Al’s car comes barreling down the road. He jumps out and orders me to man a hose on one side of the house, while he mans another. I am in my dream. When the refuges saw that, they pulled out. We could get trapped down here. But, the flames stopped a quarter-mile away when the strong wind died down. I drove to the top of the hill and saw a huge column of smoke crossing the bay. I was in hell.

I am done trying to defended myself from family and friends who do not own the abilities I own, and have not died, and come back like Jesus who was seen by many after his resurrection. For forty days he walked around saying hello to people. I know how he felt.

The Oakland firestorm of 1991 was a large suburban wildland-urban interface conflagration that occurred on the hillsides of northern Oakland, California, and southeastern Berkeley on October 20, 1991. The fire has also been called the Oakland hills firestorm or the East Bay Hills Fire. The fire ultimately killed 25 people and injured 150 others. The 1,520 acres (620 ha) destroyed, included 2,843 single-family dwellings and 437 apartment and condominium units. The economic loss has been estimated at $1.5 billion.[1]

The most important factor was the rapid spread of the wind-driven fire. Before most of the firefighting resources could be brought to the scene, the fire had established a large perimeter. At the fire’s peak, it destroyed one house every 11 seconds. By the first hour, the fire had destroyed nearly 790 structures. In addition to the winds and the heat, an important factor in the rapid spread of the fire was that it started in an area that was at an interface between developed and undeveloped land. Many of the first dwellings to burn were surrounded by thick, dry vegetation. In addition, the nearby undeveloped land had even more dry brush.

The same conditions contributed to a major conflagration nearby in the 1923 Berkeley fire and a more limited conflagration in the same area on September 22, 1970, again under similar conditions. A smaller fire also started in Wildcat Canyon on December 10, 1980.[6]

Born Under Falling Stars

Posted on March 5, 2019 by Royal Rosamond Press

I was born under a sign in the heavens. When I died, I saw God, raised my hand, and spoke these words…….

“I am!”

I was destined for the church. This message did not get to me due to my abusive parents. It came directly from God – twice! The First Messenger was my DNA! My ancestors spoke to me in foreign tongues at the moment of my death. I was their Last Hope. God hears their prayers, and restored my life.

After taking a DNA test for Ancestry.Com I found a Priestly Linage that descends from the Rosenberg and Schwarzenberg family to William and John Wilson. We find Lord Zinzendorf in our family tree – that came to America and founded Churches! William Wilson is a marvel of the Church of England, that time forgot.  I am going to find time to do a portrait of John Wilson and Nikolaus Zinzandorf. Then there is Gottschalk Rosemondt and the Order of Saint Francis.

John Presco

“William Wilson was Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Prebendary of Rochester, Rector of Cliffe, near Rochester, etc. and for 32 years, Prebendary of St. George’s Chapel at Windsor where he was buried.”

“He was educated at Merton College, Oxford which he left in 1575 on his acceptance of a living from the Earl of Pembroke. . .He became Prebendary of Saint Paul’s and Rochester Cathedrals, and held the rectory of Cliffe, Kent. In 1584 he became a Canon of Windsor in place of Dr. William Wickham.”

“He was a Prebendary of St. Paul’s and Rochester Cahtedral, and also rector of Cliffe, Kent. He was chaplain of Archbishop Grindall of Canterbury, and was made Canon of Windsor in 1584. He married Isabel, daughter of John and Elizabeth Woodhall of Walden, Essex, a niece of Bishop Grindall. He died in 1615, and was buried next his father at Windsor.”

“Rev. William Wilson, D.D., of Merton College, Oxford, was also a prebendary of st. Paul’s and Rochester cathedrals, and held the rectory of cliffe, in the county of Kent. In 1584 he became canon of Windsor in place of dr. Will. Wickham promoted to the see of Lincoln, being about that time chaplain to Edmund (Grindall), Archbishop of Canterbury. He married Isabel Woodhall, daughter of John and Elizabeth Woodhall of Walden in Essex, and niece of Archbishop Grindall. He was buried in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, near the body of his father, William Wilson, late of Wellsbourne, in Lincolnshire, Gent.”,

I was born October 8, 1946 two minutes after the sun set. An amazing star-shower was suddenly visible. The nurses in the maternity ward bid my mother to come to the window and look, but, was too spent having just delivered me.

Rosemary said she had a vision while she was giving birth to me, she telling herself she must not forget it. She forgot.

Rosemary named me after John the Baptist because she believed I was born on the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. I was born three days after Yom Kippur.

When my Astrologer began her five hour (recorded) reading of my chart, she began
with these words;

“Jon, I have never seen a chart like yours, never knew it was possible. It
begins where all charts in theory begin, on the exact cusp of Pisces and Aries..
For this reason I had to move up the time of your birth ten minutes, or in
theory, you were not born. As it is now, you barely escaped becoming a veritable
prisoner in this lifetime, that is, all the information you came here to share.”

I believe I was born to die, and when I did, my clock was readjusted so my information could be set free. My astrologer said I am of the great Scorpion Scholars of the Biblical Wilderness who sting themselves in order to induce a near-death experience and behold the Creator, if only for a little while.

Freedom On Liberty Street

My Stuttmeister ancestors came to New York and lived on Liberty Street where the Trade Towers once stood. I now suspect they were Ministers. They came to Chili, also.  Thirteen year old Victor Rudolph Stuttmeister applied for a passport when he was thirteen years of age. He had a high forehead, an aquiline nose, a large mouth, a sharp chin, brown hair, and blue eyes. Rudolph had six children and was a New York City Physician. Phillip, Mary, and Lizzie are born in New York City. Bertha is the first child to be married in California. This family were pioneers in San Francisco, Belmont, and Lagunitas in Marine County where Beryl and Leonard Buck moved after living in Oakland for many years.

Rudolph or Rudolf (FrenchRodolpheItalianPortuguese and SpanishRodolfo) or Rodolphe is a male first name, and, less commonly, a surname. It is a Germanic name deriving from two stems: Rod or Hrōð, meaning “fame”, and olf meaning “wolf” (see also Hroðulf; cf. Adolf).

Stuttmeister and Augusta D. Janke.

STUTTMEISTER-JANKE.
One of the most enjoyable weddings of the past week took place at
Belmont, Wednesday morning last, the contracting parties being Miss
Augusta Janke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Janke of Belmont,
and Dr. Wm. Stuttmeister of San Francisco. The house was
handsomely decorated with a rich profusion of ferns and flowers, and
at the appointed hour was filled with the relatives and intimate friends
of the contracting parties. At 11 o’clock the wedding march was played
and the bridal party entered the parlor. The bride was attended by Miss
Alice Stuttmeister, a sister of the groom, and Miss Minnie Janke, a
sister of the bride, as bridesmaids, and Dr. Muldownado and Wm.
Janke, a cousin of the bride, were groomsmen. The Rev. A. L. Brewer
of San Mateo performed the beautiful and impressive ceremony under
an arch composed of flowers and greens very prettily arranged, after
which the guests pressed forward and offered their congratulations.
The bride was attired in a very pretty and becoming costume of the
crushed strawberry shade, and wore a corsage bouquet of orange
blossoms. She carried a handsome bouquet of white flowers. After the
guests had paid their compliments the bride and groom led the way to
the dining-room, where the wedding dinner was served and the health
of the newly married pair was pledged. The feast over, the guests
joined in the dance, and the hours sped right merrily, interspersed with
music singing and recitations, until the bride and groom took their
departure amid a shower of rice and good wishes. Many beautiful
presents were received. Dr. and Mrs. Stuttmeister left Thursday
morning for Santa Cruz and Monterey, where they will spend the
honeymoon. On their return they will make their home in Belmont.
1911: Dr. Willian O. Stuttmeister was practicing dentistry in Redwood
City, CA. (Reference: University of California, Directory of Graduates,

Carl and Dorothea Janke
By: John Edmonds

Carl August Janke was a native of Hamburg, Germany, as was Dorothea; they left Germany in late 1848 and sailed to San Francisco arriving in 1860 following a brief trip to the gold country. They spent little time in San Francisco, finding the climate more to their liking in Belmont, San Mateo County.
Carl built the well known Belmont Picnic Grounds in the vicinity of today’s Twin Pines Park. The grounds became well known in San Francisco and when the railroad became well established in the mid 1860s the well intentioned and sometimes the not so well intentioned citizens of the great city took the train to Belmont. Good citizens of San Mateo County also enjoyed the good imported German beer and the dancing to the German band.
One of the problems for the San Francisco and San Jose Railroad that serviced Belmont and the San Mateo County Peninsula was that the trip back to the city often resulted in a great number of broken windows. The railroad solved that problem by increasing the toll for the trip to Belmont to cover the cost of replacing the windows. Thus everybody had to pay for the misdeeds a few.
On one occasion one of the less than gentlemanly males from San Francisco, thinking himself a playboy, took affection to a teen age young lady from Belmont. After a dance or two he took her for a walk in the nearby field and raped her.

The Belmont Picnic Grounds

The young lady reported the incident to her mother who, in turn, reported it to the Sheriff’s Office. The rapist, of course, disappeared in the crowed but the Deputy along with others took the young lady, one to the front of the train and the other to the back of the train and they worked their way toward each other until they located the suspect who was arrested and taken to the Jail in Redwood City.
A trial was held in the courtroom in Redwood City and during the process of that trial the suspect rose and walked forward to testify. The father of the victim rose and fired two shots into the suspect killing him instantly. The newspapers were blatant about the suspect got what he deserved and the father pleaded he went crazy after the rape. Several people testified to that fact. The father, having regained his sanity while waiting for his day in court, walked out of court a free man. This seems to fully agree with the newspapers, it’s nice to see justice served.
This is the only murder in a San Mateo County courtroom.

American sailors were no strangers to Valparaiso’s harbor, either.  One monument at the Dissidents Cemetery honors a battle of the far-flung War of 1812, America’s “Second War of Independence.”  On March 24, 1814, the frigate USS Essex, under command of Admiral David Porter, went into battle against the British vessels HMS Phoebe and HMS Cherub just offshore. Porter lost the battle and 58 American sailors died.  (One sailor aboard the Essex was the future Civil War admiral David Farragut, famous for later coining the phrase, “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!” during the siege of Mobile, Alabama, in 1864.)
Valparaiso also holds a minor spot in American history and literature: Writer Herman Melville, whose seafaring days in the South Pacific took him here, opens his anti-slavery novel “Benito Cereno” off the Chilean coast.

Cementerio Disidentes (The Cemetery of Dissidents) is the final resting place for hundreds of European and North American Protestants, freethinkers, and other non-Catholics who died in this “skinny country,” and their descendents, who still call Chile home.
Today, we don’t tend to think of Latin America as an immigration hub. But in the 1800s, Chile, Argentina and Brazil attracted many new settlers from abroad, including quite a few whose native tongue wasn’t Spanish or Portuguese. Argentina and Chile, in fact, are mostly immigrant nations.

Liberty Street is a street in New York City that stretches east-west from the middle of Lower Manhattan almost to the East River. It borders such sites as One Chase Manhattan Plaza, the Federal Reserve Bank of New YorkOne Liberty PlazaLiberty Plaza Park, the World Trade Center site, the World Financial Center, Gateway Plaza, Liberty Park, and the North Cove marina. A FDNY Firehouse, Engine Co. # 10 and Ladder Co. # 10, is located at 124 Liberty Street, directly across from Ground Zero.[1]

History[edit]

Before the American Revolution, Liberty Street was known as Crown Street, but afterwards the name was changed. The present Liberty Street and the present Maiden Lane between Liberty and Pearl Streets. The name was changed to Liberty Street in 1793, with the part east of the junction being added to Maiden Lane.[2]

Central Railroad of New Jersey’s Liberty Street Ferry Terminal in New York City, ca. 1900

Between the 1860s and the 1960s the Central Railroad of New Jersey‘s main ferry ran from the foot of the street on the Hudson River to Communipaw Terminal in Jersey City.

In the late 1960s, all buildings that ran along the north side of the street from Church Street to West Street were demolished to make way for the World Trade Center.

The western portion of the street was extensively damaged by the September 11 attacks. This section of the road, adjacent to the South Tower of the World Trade Center, was crushed by debris and blanketed with dust and smoke when the building collapsed at 9:59 A.M. Rebuilding efforts continue near the World Trade Center site.

The Deutsche Bank Building, located at 130 Liberty Street, sustained heavy damage that morning and was later demolished. Other buildings on Liberty Street were also ravaged by the events. The Burger King on the corner was used as a temporary NYPD headquarters in the days following the attacks.

Tesla’s Liberty Street Laboratory

Martin Hill Ortiz    6:10 AM    4 comments

In 1887, Nikola Tesla rented his first laboratory. This is described in Carlson’s biography:

Tesla’s first laboratory was located in New York’s financial district. The laboratory was at 89 Liberty Street, just around the corner from the offices of Mutual Union at 120 Broadway. On the ground floor was the Globe Stationery & Printing Company, and Tesla occupied a room upstairs. The lab was furnished with only a workbench, a stove, and a dynamo manufactured by Edward Weston.

From: Carlson, W. Bernard. Tesla: Inventor of the Electrical Age (p. 81). Princeton University Press.

This was in the middle of the north side of Liberty Street between Broadway and Church. (The street is named Church north of Liberty, and Trinity to the south). Across the street from 89 Liberty, Temple Street ran two blocks south to Trinity Church. With Tesla’s obsession with the number three and with his father a priest, perhaps Trinity, Church and Temple were significant to him. The building with his laboratory is highlighted below in orange in an 1891 Atlas map.

From: Plate 2. Atlas of the City of New York, Manhattan Island. G.W. Bromley and Co., Philadelphia, 1891.

His stay here continued through the time when he invented the A/C generator and motor, although much of the refinement of these inventions were done in Pittsburgh. He moved to his Grand Street laboratory in August of 1889.

Globe Stationery continued at this address from 1876 until 1897 when it moved to 25 John Street. (Modern Stationer and Book-Seller, April 25, 1921. page 44, Google Books).

The Singer Building was constructed on this site. When it was completed in 1908, it was briefly the tallest building in the world. It was torn down in 1968, at the time the tallest building ever demolished. It was replaced by 1 Liberty Center. The site of Tesla’s laboratory is one-half block east of the southeastern corner of what would become the grounds of the World Trade Center.

From: Plate 2. Atlas of the City of New York, Manhattan Island. G.W. Bromley and Co., Philadelphia, 1911. This map clearly shows 89 Liberty Street as part of the southwest corner of the Singer Building.

The Singer Building. Photo from Wikipedia. Tesla’s laboratory at 89 Liberty Street was situated at what became the southwestern corner (leftmost in the above picture).

Although Paul Schäfer was the founder of Colonia Dignidad, an isolated settlement in Chile 400 kilometers south of Santiago, he wasn’t the only one who made its creation possible. Established in 1961 by German emigrants with strong Nazi ties, the enclave, which became known for its widespread cases of torture and child abuse, had several supporters in Germany and Chile.

In his book “Colonia Dignidad” (1998), the journalist Gero Gemballa wrote that the media’s portrayal of the settlement remained surprisingly factual – practically no exaggerations or creepy legends were added to the descriptions.

The IELCH traces its beginnings to the 1860s, when the first German Lutherans immigrated to Chile. However the formation of non-Roman Catholic churches was not permitted until 1925, after which Lutheran congregations organized an association that later became the IEHLC. In the 1960s the church began missionary work in Spanish. The church underwent schism during the Pinochet regime, resulting in the formation of a separate Lutheran Church in Chile (Iglesia Luterana en Chile). Both churches are part of the LWF and have formed the Lutheran Church Council in Chile with a goal of unification in 2014.

William Olin Stuttmeister was born in 1866, and I assumed it was from
Charlottenburg, Germany. However this is only a suposition, as his
death certificate does not indicate he emigrated from Germany. He
had a brother, and four sisters. One sister was my grandmother,
Alice L. Stuttmeister Broderick. Her sister, Bertha, married a
Meyer. They all lived in
Oakland, California, USA. Dr. William Olin Stuttmeister, I believe
the
second eldest, became a dentist and practiced in Redwood City,
Calif., but
lived in San Francisco, California. He had a quarrel with the
sisters and
they never reconciled. Thus the lack of any substantial family
information.

Through childhood conversations with my maternal grandmother – she
related
that the two other sisters, names unknown, emigrated to South Africa
where
on married a man who had an osterich farm(feathers fashionable at
that
time) The other married a man with either a gold or diamond mine.
I
say
diamond, because prior to WW1 they came to visit the family, and they
brought my grandmother’s wedding ring, a very large yellow diamond.
Then
of course the war came, and no one ever heard from them again, or
perhaps
they did, but I was not privy to this adult knowlege – thus they are
lost,
I suppose forever. I thought just perhaps some of this history may
ring a
‘bell’ with someone out there.

Their father was a medical doctor in Berlin, Brandenburg – Dr.
Rudolph
Stuttmeister, but I have absolutely no information on him. My half
brother
claims both parents died young, and left one of the sisters, Berthe,
to
raise the other children – my grandmother, Alice, only 10 years old.

However, none of this seems quite accurate. I remember this paternal
grandmother Alice spoke broken English which indicats to me they
emigrated,
and she was not born in the US, but all death certificates seem to
indicate
they were born in the US, but I think there is a mistake here. It
is
all
very confusing delving after the truth when this family evidently
wanted to
hide their past and confuse us all.

To Dave Herring, and Listers,

Thank you very much for the information on Herman Stuttmeister. It
is
interesting that my information differed a little from what you sent
me, as
along with Herman Stuttmeister there was a HEDWIGA, age 27 from
Bavaria,
Sipiory, which I think is the incorrect spelling of the town, and if
anyone
can correct this I would appreciate it.

I thought that Lemberg was in Switzerland, but there is a Lemberg in
Germany I believe.

Would anyone know where it is in proximation to the suburb of
Charlottenburg which is now incorporated in the city of Berlin?

Quite right, they came as tourists. I wonder what attracted Germans
to
America at this time? And did they return to Germany? If so, is
there a
way of checking?

Daryl
Dear N.Y. Listers, John Dornheim very kindly emailed this
information
on the ‘Prussia’ list, but I want to write to the Church concerning
their marriage records, and if I can obtain a marriage certificate,
1844. I discovered that F.W. Rudolph Stuttmeister married Mathilde
Oltman in this church. The church was formerely known as ‘The German
Lutheran Church’ as so many of the German immigrants attended this
church. Is there some knowlegeable person who could give me a full
address, zip code and all? >There is no Lutheran church in any of
the
five boroughs of NYC that goes >by “Evangelical Lutheran Church” of
which I am aware. The word >Evangelical is an adjective which many
Lutheran congregations include in >their name. It means Gospel-
centered. >Organized in the mid 1660’s St. Matthew is the oldest
(perhaps second >oldest) Lutheran church in NYC. It is in the
uppermost part of Manhattan >near 207th St. > >John Dornheim I did
write to one church which I found in a N.Y. telephone book, but I
think that it is not the old church. ALSO, I would like to know what
medical schools were available in New York in the middle 1800. I do
not know whether Dr. W. F. Stuttmeister became a doctor in New York,
or in Berlin, Germany. He was twenty-eight years when he married, so
could have studied medicine in New York. Does anyone know how I
would
go about unearthing this bit???? Many thanks to those IN THE KNOW!
Daryl Pacific Northwest
Is there any way, other than asking someone, I can find out whether
there were city directories in the middle 1800’s? Looking to see
when
my great grandfather came from Berlin to New York, and how long he
stayed. His name was W.F. Rudolph Stuttmeister, may have had
the ‘von’ in front, and may have had Dr. attached too, which brings
me to the question, what medical schools were in Manhattan or nearby
in the middle 1800’s. I know he was married in 1844 in Manhattan.
