This is my favorite photo of Meher Baba who did say he was Jesus. This is why I strive not to judge my new friend, Prince Adagio, who is quite ‘The Lady’s Man’ too.
I was a follower of Meher Baba when I rescued Rena Easton. Our spiritual work together is vast. Sometimes I wonder if I am God Incarnate. The work I am going is coming to completion. God has a vision for Meg Whitman.

At one point, Meher Baba told the group not to expect any discourse from him that day. “In Los Angeles,” said Meher Baba, “there was no time for you all to sit near me as you are doing today, for so many people came there and I was so busy. Therefore, I wanted to have a free day here.”
Just as the sun was setting, Meher Baba got ready to leave. He asked Agnes to drive him back the longer coast route. On the way, Meher Baba mentioned that he thoroughly enjoyed the sparkling blue Pacific Ocean.
When Meher Baba arrived back at the Roosevelt Hotel, he waved to his lovers before stepping into the elevator and retiring for the night. The next morning, he flew to San Francisco.
I love the pic of Baba texting Tahullah Bankhead, he sending her a cosmic message with God’s Eye-Pad. Note the pointing finger and that crazy post I made about silent priests using hand-signs to give John the Baptist a NAME. John means ‘The Gift of God’ which would be the Holy Spirit.
Now that Donald Rumsfeld admitted he and George Bush brought Mohammed-Consciousness to America, best make a major adjustment, because, we won’t be seeing young unarmed Iraqis playing baseball, and swilling down another beer at the ballpark – for a thousand years! They have refused our American way of life, and, all we hear in the States, is, Mohanmed this, and, Allah that! Thanks Donald!
Now the White-wing Republicans want to flex their Jesus-muscle by taking away welfare and food stamps from poor people – after spending two trillion dollars trying to take away AK-47s from Iraqi teens, and give them a baseball glove. How do you think that is going to go knowing their track record.

Baba’s biggest backer was Princess Norina Matchabelli, the perfume heiress. There is nothing knew under the sun. What Prince Adagio is attempting, perhaps with the backing of Georgiana Elizabeth Spencer (my kin) was already realized by Meher Baba.

My sister Delia ( De Leon ) had met Baba at the theater and was absolutely bowled over. She asked me if I would like to meet him and I said yes. I was not seeking as she was, but when she told me what reactions she had had to Baba, I said I would like to meet him too. The first time I saw him at the Davy’s house, I was terribly moved. I can’t say why at all; suddenly I found myself weeping and could not stop…
Baba spelled out on the board to one of the Mandali, ‘Ask her why she is weeping.’ I spontaneously said, ‘Because you are so beautiful.’
From that point on, I only wanted to look at him and be with him, just sit on the floor and look at him. I didn’t want to ask anything. Baba was wearing a white robe with his hair long; his face was very, very beautiful. There was an aura of light around him which one cannot really describe. In his presence, I could not look at anyone else… I was really taken with him, and was told I could come again. I went every time it was possible.

Princess Norina Matchabelli (3 March 1880 – 15 June 1957), born Norina Gilli in Florence, Italy, was co-founder of the perfume company Prince Matchabelli, a stage and screen actress, mystic, publisher, and a devoted mandali of Indian spiritual teacher Meher Baba. Her stage name was Maria Carmi.
After divorcing Vollmöller, Norina married Georges V. Matchabelli, the Georgian prince and diplomat, in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1917.[4] Georges was the Georgian ambassador to Italy until the 1921 Bolshevik takeover of Georgia, and lived in Rome. The couple moved to the United States in 1923. Georges was an amateur chemist and with Norina co-founded the now-famous perfume company Prince Matchabelli in 1926. In 1933, the couple divorced. Georges died in 1935 and in 1936 Norina sold the company to Saul Ganz for $250,000.[5]

Baba’s angels!
Donald Rumsfeld now claims fashioning a democracy in Iraq seemed “unrealistic” to him from the beginning, something Jon Stewart said should be filed under “comments that would have been useful earlier” on Thursday night’s “Daily Show.”
As Stewart pointed out, Rumsfeld’s earlier comments were the complete opposite.
“There are doubters, and those who say it can’t be done,” Rumsfeld said in a 2004 clip. “There have always been doubters who have said it couldn’t be done.”

Baba was particularly interested in the film industry. Accordingly, he spent one week in Hollywood, California beginning on May 29th, meeting with a number of people connected with that industry and visiting the Paramount and Goldwyn Mayer film studios. He met a number of film stars including Boris Karloff, Cary Grant, Tallulah Bankhead, Gary Cooper and Maurice Chevalier, and gave private interviews to some. Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford arranged for a private reception at their mansion, “Pickfair”. Ms. Pickford had Baba sit on a sofa and she sat on the carpet at his feet. Her husband and the rest joined her, and Baba explained:
The whole universe and its structure, I have created. The universe is my cinema. But just as an audience becomes absorbed in witnessing a drama on the screen, and the film engages their emotions and sways their feelings by its influence, causing them to forget that it is not real–in the same way, the spectators of the world are charmed by this worldly film show, forgetting themselves and taking it to be real!
So I have come to tell them that this worldly cinema in which they are absorbed is not real. I have come to turn their focus toward Reality. Only God is real, and everything else is a mere motion picture!
In a private meeting before dinner with Ms. Pickford and a few others, Baba commented on the film industry itself:
I do not need to tell you who are engaged in the production and distribution of motion pictures what a power you hold in your hands, nor do I doubt that you are fully alive to the responsibilities which the wielding of that power involves. He who stimulates the imagination of the masses can move them in any direction he chooses, and there is no more powerful an instrument for stimulating their imagination than motion pictures. People go to the theatre to be entertained. If the play is strong, they come away transformed. They surrender their hearts and minds to the author, producer, director and stars, and follow the example which they see portrayed before their eyes more than they themselves realize.(16)
Meher Baba would associate with people of high or low social standing, depending on their sincere interest in spirituality and also depending on the nature of the inner spiritual work he was trying to accomplish. Some of my favorite stories about Baba depict him following the reception plans laid out by officials and dignitaries, only to suddenly diverge from the mapped-out route, leading the bewildered officials down backs streets until arriving at the home of some poor or sick person who secretly longed to meet him.
This reception at “Pickfair” had a similar surprise in store. After dinner, Baba noticed a young woman standing at the far end of the room with her back to him and requested that she come forward, and she was called. She turned toward Baba but remained where she was. She was called again, and she came forward but stopped at a distance. Norina Matchebelli, one of Baba’s disciples traveling with him, told her, “Come and shake hands with Baba, child.” She demurred, and another disciple, Elizabeth Patterson, said, “Why are you afraid, dear? Come nearer and meet Baba.”
Continuing with the account as told in Lord Meher:
She asked, “How can I touch him?”
“Why not?” Norina replied. “All can meet Baba!”
This brought tears to her eyes, and she pitiably asked, “But I am a sinner! How can I touch a holy being like him?”
Baba then went to her, and passed his hand over her head and shoulders. She started weeping, and Baba gestured to her, “I am the purest of the pure. I can purify the worst sinner. You have understood your mistakes and acknowledged them faithfully in the presence of others, and so you are forgiven. This penance from the depths of your heart is adequate, and you are now cleansed. Now, don’t fear in the least and don’t repeat your past mistakes. I give you my blessings!” The girl burst into tears, and Baba lovingly embraced her. The tears which Baba had drawn from her heart wiped out all her sins.
Those who witnessed this were deeply moved; their hearts overflowed and their eyes also teared. Before departing, Baba again embraced all the guests and putting his hand on the girl’s head, consoled her, “You have received forgiveness for everything! Forget the past and don’t worry at all.” The girl pressed her eyes to Baba’s hand and kissed it. As Baba left, all eyes followed him. In their films, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks had depicted scenes of deep human love, but witnessing this sight of pure divine love from Meher Baba was a rare experience indeed. Their hearts were full. (17)
The Hollywood Bowl
As mentioned earlier, Meher Baba had begun keeping strict silence on July 10, 1925. For a few years he communicated by writing, then switched to using an alphabet board, and in later years began using his own unique hand gestures. During this period of the 1930’s, Baba was still using the board.
Meher Baba had many times said that when he finally broke his silence, it would be to utter the “Word of words”, and that it would unleash a tide of spirituality which would help each person to advance toward the Goal (God-Realization) in their own way. There were also quite a few occasions when Baba would predict, or even promise, to break his silence at such and such a time and place, and then wouldn’t do so, at least outwardly to anyone’s knowledge. This scenario unfolded again in California, when some of Baba’s Western followers urged Baba to break his silence on the radio in the Hollywood Bowl.(18) Baba agreed and set the date for July 14th 1932.
At that time there were a number of Westerners attached to Baba, some of them intimate disciples, who–as best I can describe it–had the Western “malaise” of taking things very literally, and of wrongly valuing certain things as highly spiritual and undervaluing other things which really were more the essence of spirituality. Just as Gandhi could not abide the ego-bruising, seemingly uncouth reception he got at the hands of Upasni Maharaj, so these spiritual seekers and metaphysicians apparently could not get past the way Meher Baba worked. There was great excitement about this literal breaking of Baba’s external silence with publicity and fanfare, to be broadcast on the radio, from the Hollywood Bowl. My personal opinion is that this was the way Baba brought up to the surface all these tendencies of superficiality in spiritual matters toward which the West is so inclined. The women even had special “Hollywood Bowl” dresses made!
Meher Baba (25 February 1894 – 31 January 1969), born Merwan Sheriar Irani, was an Indian spiritual master who said he was the Avatar,[1][2][3] God in human form.[4][5]
Merwan Sheriar Irani was born in 1894 in Pune, India to Irani Zoroastrian parents. At the age of 19, he began a seven-year spiritual transformation.[6][7] During this time he contacted five spiritual masters before beginning his own mission and gathering his own disciples in early 1922, at the age of 27.[8]
From 10 July 1925 to the end of his life, Meher Baba maintained silence, communicating by means of an alphabet board or by unique hand gestures.[9][10][11] With his mandali (circle of disciples), he spent long periods in seclusion, during which time he often fasted. He also traveled widely, held public gatherings and engaged in works of charity with lepers, the poor and the mentally ill.
In 1931, Meher Baba made the first of many visits to the West, where he attracted followers.[12] Throughout most of the 1940s, Meher Baba worked with a category of spiritual aspirants called masts,[13] who he said are entranced or spellbound by internal spiritual experiences. Starting in 1949, along with selected mandali, he traveled incognito about India in an enigmatic and still largely unexplained period he called the “New Life“.[14]
Hazrat Babajan (Balochi: حضرت باباجان) (c. 1806 – September 21, 1931) was a Pathan Muslim saint considered by her followers to be a sadguru or qutub. Born in Balochistan, Afghanistan, she lived the final 25 years of her life in Pune, India. She is most notable as the original master of Meher Baba.

The Avatar comes each time with the same basic message: “Nothing is real but God. Nothing matters but love for God.”

Meher Baba And Rena Easton

I gave lessons to Rena Easton on Meher Baba, the Indian Religion, and my lonely campaign to get people to stop taking drugs. Two days ago, I read about the Baba-Boys and have made initial attempts to talk to Rick Chapman. I was not – so alone! As fate would have it, yesterday, Oregon took steps to criminalize drugs – that were legalized. The fentanyl crisis – is over the top! Russia is beating the Ukrainians. The Christin-Republicans refuse to help – until brown people are stopped at the border. Israel is committing war crimes, as is Christian- Russia who kidnapped 700,000 Ukranian children. Israel must protest this kidnaping – and the bombing of Ukrainian cities.
Baba said he was God – and the embodiment of Jesus – yet there are no Biblical Words from him, or his followers……except from me! But, I have been disconnected with the Baba Lovers. I saw James Taylor (not the singer) at Baba’s birthday party in Berkley in 1979. James was with me when I died on LSD. He was the head of the Baba folk. I wonder if Rick knows him.
When I awoke early, I wondered if Baba warned against an Apocolypse, and, what became of the Shekinah that was atop Sulpher Mountian.

House Bill 4002 would rollback parts of Measure 110, to criminalize possession of small amounts of illegal drugs like meth and fentanyl, impose tougher penalties for drug dealers and up to 6 months in jail for people caught with drugs. Who are the Magi, and why have they come to behold a infant born under a star? When one sees the Pharisees as being allied to Jesus – they putting him to a favorable test – then one must wonder if Jesus is a Parthian. If you replace the Pharisees with the Magi, who are presenting a Savior, the meaning of the name Jesus, then one sees the Magi were the earliest Christians whom Saul-Paul persecuted, he claiming he had papers to pursue these early followers into Damascus. How did Paul recognize them? Well, they had very large noses, and they may have been Scythians.

Starry Crowns of the Comet Kings

“Seek, and thou shall find!”
Well, that didn’t take long. Over seven years ago I posted on the crowns of the Parthian Kings, how they looked like stars. The Magi – who followed a bright star – found the Messiah-King. The word comet comes from the word comb. The Merovingians were titled ‘The Long Haired Kings’. This long hair represents the long tail of a comet. Now, what is my reward for figuring this out years ago?
“A crown is the traditional symbolic form of headgear worn by a monarch or by a deity, for whom the crown traditionally represents power, legitimacy, immortality, righteousness, victory, triumph, resurrection, honour and glory of life after death. In art, the crown may be shown being offered to those on Earth by angels. Apart from the traditional form, crowns also may be in the form of a wreath and be made of, flowers, oak leaves or thorns and be worn by others, representing what the coronation part aims to symbolize with the specific crown. In religious art, a crown of stars is used similarly to a halo. Crowns worn by rulers often contain jewels.”
Still not convinced that the crown of Pharamond should be out upon my head? New research is saying that Pharamond was Varazdat of an Armenian Empire associated with the Parthians, especially with Shapur II “the Great who was the ninth King of the Persian Sassanid Empire from 309 to 379 and son of Hormizd II.[3] During his long reign, the Sassanid Empire saw its first golden era since the reign of Shapur I (241–272). His name is sometimes given in English as “Shahpour” or “Sapor”.
Shapur was crowned king WHILE IN HIS MOTHER’S WOMB. John the Nazarite – who grew his hair long – was filled with the Holy Spirit while in his mother’s womb – that radiated a light like a halo – that is associated with Mithras and the Zoroastrians, who the Romans hated – as well as Paul’s early Christians. However, Emperor Constantine worshipped Sol Invitus, The Comet Hally, while inflicting Paul’s false teaching upon lesser men in order to separate the Jewish connection to the Parthian Kings, and Cyrus the Great, whom they called Messiah. Shapur is the source of the Pharamond legend that came down to Varazdat. Was he a illegitimate son?
A study suggests Hally’s comet inspired the design of the Parthian crowns. That Pharamond married Rosamond, puts my mother’s maiden name amongst the King of Kings, the Kings of France, and, Jesus, the King of Jews. But, more then that, the Rose of the world name is kindred to the real history of John the Baptist whom I was named after, by, Rosemary Rosamond, daughter of Mary Magdalene Rosamond, and Royal Rosamond.
As a follower of Meher Baba, born in Iran to Parthian parents, I was led by a Divine Intuition to find the Starry Crown of the Rose of the World. This crown is more then a grail. It is done!

I have chosen to post my amazing findings, even conclusions, as to the true identity of Jesus, in the circle of The Brotherhood, who set me on a Spiritual Path. I credit my grandmother, Mary Magdalene Rosamond, with establishing a path she hoped I would follow. I wish she were alive so I can show her my claim, that I Am a Comet King. In the top picture we see the coin of a Parthian King with a map of a star’s movement across the heaven. These Magi-Kings wore starry crowns, and wore their hair long representing the tail of a comet.
Nancy took my daughter, Heather Hanson, to dinner and met my miracle for the first time when she was sixteen. Christine Rosamond and I, along with Nancy and the Zorthian sisters, lived in a commune in San Francisco. Christine, Nancy, Owsley, and Nick Sands, went on a double date. Bob Hamilton, and his friend since grade school, Tim Scully, bought me artists supplies from which I rendered my second painting of Rena, that inspired my sister to take up art. I lived with James Taylor, another friend of Bob and Scully, who helped build the sound system for the Grateful Dead. Bob helped out on the Acid Test. I painted Rena while living with Peter Shapiro who played lead with The Loading Zone, that were The Marbles when they played at the first Acid Test. James put a photograph of Meher Baba on the wall at the 13th. St. Victorian. Taylor put books on the Indian Religion by my bed. This is the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. I give credit to Bob and James helping me come fully back into my body after my fall, and near-death experience while on a massive dose of LSD. I credit James with establishing my Spiritual Investigation into the Religions of India, and my reading of the Bible for the first time in 1987. What a long strange strip it has been. I believe I have found the True Identity of Jesus via the Parthian Magi. Baba’s parents were Parsi from Iran. I found the Comet ‘Long Haired Kings’ from whom the Merovingian’s descend. Pharamonde and Rosamonde were Parthians. I give my daughter permission to use Rosamond in my granddaughter’s name. I suggest she marry Bobby Dew, and name his daughter….

After becoming enlightened at the age of twenty – by accident – God assigned me the task of working with women on a new plane. I had read in one of the books the name of a Sadguru on the seventh plane who is assigned this work. I have forgotten this name.
I am going to concentrate my energy on the crisis in India where I was bid to go in 1967. A woman deterred me.
Doubt me all you want. But, I am qualified to point to him and say;

I will be contacting Governor Kotek again about the misguided Christian Science aimed at defeating the alleged enemies of the Republican-Christian Kingdom, that falsely claim they have the teaching of Jesus and Moses at heart when it comes to Abortion Laws – and now Embryos. Slave master in the South, manipulated the embryos of THEIR ENSLAVED PROPERTY so that black women will give birth to MORE very valuable slaves. The truth is, Judges and Politicians have destroyed the foundation of Christianity, and Judaism, in claiming they are filled with the Holy Spirit, and thus own Holy Permission to hold political office, and do….THE WILL OF GOD!

Dying and being REBORN is the backbone of Christian teaching. Jesus says one must hate his parents, to be a follower. To be reborn, one is bid to give up pervious, mortal, ways – so you can own a New Identity! But, the real hidden controversy is the Battle of The Holy Sprit between John and Jesus, and Mary and Elizabeth. John and his parents – were never Christians! They descend from Aaron and Moses. They are The Jews of Jews’. When Elizabeth could not CONCIEVE, she took the vow of the Nazarite, as did Hannah, and Samson’s mother – whose name is not given! WHY?

A Boston man named Bob Dreyfuss and later Jim McGrew, went to see Baba. Baba was in seclusion, but he agreed to see Dreyfuss when he learned that Dreyfuss had worked his way to India in time to arrive in Poona for the December Sahavas we were scheduled to have, but which Baba had meantime canceled, and Dreyfuss did not know it. While attending Serenity Lane in Eugene Oregon, getting help for my alcoholism, I heard there was going to be a meeting of Meher Baba Lovers from all over the world at a Seminary College in Portland. It was a three day event. When it came time to have lunch in the cafeteria I found an empty table, I thought. After taking a bite of my food, I looked up to see three gentleman standing over me. They wanted to say they were sitting there, but, ended up staring at me.
After being seated, one of them asked me;
“What do you do to make yourself look so much like Meher Baba?”
I put down my fork and responded to gentleman with the big mustache, and, who looked like Baba himself;
“I molded a plastic mask of the Avatar and strap it on each night. It is painful, but, it does the trick! Now, tell me your secret.”
This morning my Angel told me this upon waking;
“Google Rick Chapman. You missed something Jon.”
I found out that Rick and others were called the “Baba-boys” by the Avatar of the Age who wanted these boys to spread his anti-LSD and drug message. After my death on a massive dose of LSD on McClure’s Beach, two days later I was bid to take another dose so I could come back into my body. A group of people were waiting for me in the next room. They were members of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. When I spoke to them, I said this;
“I am going to take this drug from you and dilute it in the ocean.”
This was February 1967. I was a original Hippies. I spread my anti-LSD and Marijuana message to all those who were close to me. I was not aware that my DNA carried a message that rendered all members of my natal family, alcoholics – and insane! The loss of my daughter and grandson, and the wanton destruction of my Rosy Family Tree that I recovered from oblivion, is proof we are being driven insane.
A half hour ago I watched a video that ISIS made. It shows a British journalist giving a MESSAGE to the world, claiming he does this of his own free will, and not because there is a gun pointed at his head. This is the epitone of Madness.
When I died, I saw God and His Liberating Truth. I will speak of this event not to make you Believe, or have Faith or Religion, but that you be grounded in your divine creation, in a heaven that lie at your feet. You were born in His image. You have the right to brush your fingers across the horizon of the sea, and whisper…….”I am!”
In the photo of me above you will see strands of energy around me like angel hair. This energy has protected me for many years. Guns have been put to my head, the trigger pulled, but, these weapons jammed! A month after my death I beheld a picture of Baba on the wall of our commune, and went into a deep trance. I saw that we suffered in similar ways.

Going Into Shock & PTSD

In 1987 I returned to McLure’s Beach and climbed the rock I fell on. I was utterly alone. There was no one in the parking lot, and thus no one for miles. I had gone thru the New Hope Program and had a year of sobriety. I had been in hypnotherapy. I had to do this.
I had not climbed but thirty feet, and was heading for the bridge, when I came upon a plaque nailed into the rock.
“6 KNOWN DEATHS”
This plaque was not there in 1967, and the thought that six people who came after me, met their death, was otherworldly. I was entering The Land of the Known Dead. I thought about the collective grief of their families. Their tears had come here. I closed my eyes, took some deep breaths, told myself I can do this, and proceeded.
I do not think Keith and James knew I was going into shock, because they were in shock at seeing me wounded. The powerful dose was incapacitating. We could not walk. Like a heavy gravity we were pinned to the sand. We could only watch and wait until the inital impact subsided.
After James tried to wash my wound, and after I got soaking wet, I told him to leave me be. He went and sat with Keith about fifty feet away. I sat at the edge of the water listening to the strange sound that the gravel made as each wave receded. It sounded like many engines. All of a sudden landing craft were coming out of the ocean, and I was in the a middle of horrendous battle. A young man fell next to me, mortally wounded. When he died, and with his last breath, he uttered his last word;
“Mother!”
I believe I was that soldier.
I watch that scene from Saving Private Ryan where the captain goes into a tunnel of silence. The engine of war is grating up and down my backbone. My teeth are chattering. I can not make it stop.

This morning I found ‘The Eyes of Rocky Point’ that go with the eye at McClure’s Beach….where I died. It was a wake up call that I had been thrown off my spiritual path, and had given up looking for the truth of how Christine drowned. I looked at more videos of this dangerous place – that my niece Drew Benton saw with her very eyes! However, she has never said so, or, given a first hand account of how she almost drowned – too!
I have decided to sue Drew Benton, get her in a court of law, and on a witness stand. I deserve to know how my beloved sister – died! I want my attorney to ask if she was scared down in that cove my friend, a Private Investigator, did not want me to enter!
Vicki told me Drew has no fond memories and feelings for her mother. She did not attend Christine’s funeral, nor did her father. At her mother’s home, Garth dropped Drew off, and did not come in and say hello to Rosemary, Lillian, Vicki, and myself. Why? Yet his words fill several pages of Rosamond’s biography. Drew played video games with Shamus which got the attention of my detective friend.
“She appears as if nothing had happened!”
There is not a spiritual bone in Drew’s body, yet she is a dark beam in the eye of the surviving family artist – and all artists! Time to remove it. Drew knew where my seventeen year old daughter was when her mother disappeared her from my life.
I played Albatross when I got home from the funeral. I expected this kind of truth, to arrive. Instead, the lies kept pouring in. Drew did much to destroy Christine’s legacy. She still allows herself to be used as the dark cauldron, as our natal family dies. Am I the only one left?

God had conversations with Man. Has anyone compiled His Words? In compiling photographs of McClure’s Beach for my Painting of God, my Angel said;
“God dwells here. This is the Home of God! God liveth in this cave. He will never dwell in Jerusalem again.”
Talk like this will get me killed. By whom? I will be called insane, some more. By whom? Here is where I died, on this sand. My friend had taken me into the water to wash the deep cut in my hand, and a wave caught us. There was too much sand in the water so we went out to our knees. I was completely wet, and went into shock. I looked up and saw an angel hovering over me. I pointed her out to my friend who looked down on me in a tunnel.
I left my body and walked through this cleft in the rock that a photographer calls a “crevice”. I sat down and beheld God sitting on a rock, that does not exist, unless it is just out of sight in the lower right. You can see the two rocks on either side of the opening. They are like pillars. That is Elephant Rock. My friends built a large fire next to me to dry me. I believe it was the pain of my steaming blue-jeans that brought me back. It was the first thing I saw. I was curled up in the fetus position. The Cave of God is to the left, down the beach a seventy yards. This is His view. Quite a improvement over the Men who love to argue and fight. I am done with that! I was done with that – back then!
As the touched down on the horizon, I was in a Great Battle. Tanks and landing craft came ashore. In every wave advance knights on horseback with lances and many flags. I did not survive this battle. I heard dying American soldiers in Vietnam. We died.
God came here, and looked te thousand miles across the Pacific. He was not happy that America had forsake…………THE TRUTH! He showed me……….THE TRUTH! This is the home of………THE TRUTH!
The waterfall is seasonal. It falls about fifty yards from the cave and looks like the wings of a great angel. I will paint my angel again. This time with wings. Elephant Seal Rock. A great beast comes out of the sea.

I did a painting of my angel from memory in 1975. I died in 1967. It was the second woman I had done. My skills were not up to par. I had not painted in years. Note the cleft at the top of the rock that goes to another kingdom. I am going to do more religious work.

God Wants To Dwell In The Holy Land

John the Baptist prepared THE WAY for THE LORD – and not Jesus! The Levites ruled God has – left the house – in disgust! I, and God, feel total disgust for what the leaders of Israel are doing in Gaza. This includes leading rabbis.
For three years I was in therapy. Barbara said this as she arrived at the core of the family abuse I suffered.
“I don’t know how your survived!
“I didn’t. Remember…..I told you I died?”
In studying both books of the Bible, God showed me this…..Jesus wore the Phylactery and was very accepted by the Pharisees that reject and attack Jesus! Really? Use your mind. I suggested every Haredi thirteen years of age read the New Testament, and note that without the test and questions of the Pharisees, most of Jesus’s words – WOULD NOT EXIST! If you SEE the Pharisees were very favorable to Jesus, then you SEE he unwrapped the Phylactery from his wrist, and used it as a whip. What is on the forehead of THE SAVIOR?
NOW…..SEE that this Savior is……JOHN THE BAPTIST the only Jew who was with the Holy Spirit while in his mother’s womb. Now see, that after John’s head was severed, the Holy Spirit continued to live, and this Man of the Holy Sprit raised THE DEAD SAINTS, and they went into Jerusalem and ministered to them about THE LOST TORAH SCROLL!
The disciples of Jesus did not own a clue their master was supposed to be murdered by his enemies, and then RISE FROM THE DEAD – like Lazarus was raised. Huh? I believe Jesus’s mission was CHANGED after thousands of Jews saw the Holy Ghost of John. Lazarus is a invention to cast doubt on the testimony OF THE JEWS who followed John.
Many Jews were followers of foreign gods, and owned foreign money. The priesthood allowed for these coins. The biggest headline, is the War of Words for the ownership of American Money to fund more war of terrorism. The Netanyahu Gang want Trump-Apollo back in the White House that is being turned into a Greek Temple – along with the Capitol. The Christian Congress of Christ will be giving back the taxes of loyal Republicans – only!

Defending Trump-Apollo-Satan

“But I don’t know that it is criminal to take bad advice from lawyers. And so I hope the Justice Department is careful.”
Mike Pence made the above statement – yesterday. He comes to the defense of the Wronged and Rightful President – who says he is going to run again! Let us hope he surrounds himself with BETTER ATTORNEYS than Rudi Giuliani and John Easton who were close the Donald Trump. How close was Pence? Did he foresee the utter depredation of our Democracy and Judicial System – that is based upon Judeo-Christian principles? You would think lawmakers like Senator Tom Cruz would be honored to DEFEND Trump. How many Men of God – own law degrees?
If no Republican wants a trial, or, offers a documented rebuttal, then they AGREE Trump is above the law, which forces me to conclude – TRUMP IS A GOD – and is above the law. Everyone has a right to an attorney. I will show in court that Trump was surrounded by Christians who had come to believe Jesus is God, and indeed, is on par with Apollo.
Study this to see what kind of trial I have in mind. It is going to resemble Revelations.
It was Ivanka Trump who suggested her father pose with a Bible in front of the church across from the White House. I will call Ivanka as my first witness. I will ask her if Donald ever compared himself to the Greek and Roman God, to the point he hired an artist to depict Apollo riding in the sky in his chariot. I will not call Trump’s wife to the stand, unless she volunteers to tell the world what it was like waking up in bed – with a god!
I will show that Trump’s knowledge of the Bible, was so minuscule, that it was easy to convince him JESUS WAS ABOVE THE LAW. He stood trial – twice – was murdered, then…rose from the dead. If I can prove Trump is Apollo-Satan, then he is a member of the Christian Pantheon, and, is forgivable when it comes to Fulfilling Biblical Prophecy, as he is already forgiven because a million Christian believe he is the embodiment of King David. It is to THE CHRISTIAN MINION that Pence, Easton, Thomas, and McConnell, LOOK because I suspect some Christian leaders have threatened to tell their flocks to vote for Democrats – if they do not keep their mouths shut – and do what they say!
I will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Trump was inspired by the images of Apollo – to own REALLY BIG HAIR. After being found guilty of not giving a rat’s ass about MERE MORTALS, I will ask the Jury of Mankind, to show mercy on the Poor Deity – without a country!
What millions of Democrat Voters – DESERVE TO KNOW – did Clarence and Ginni see Trump’s New York appartment, and….THEY SAW THE LIGHT! Ginni Thomas was a cult follower and considers her self an authority on cults. Did she study the Manson Family? Did Clarence behold his beloved Howard Roarke? Voting Democrats had their VICTORY taken from them – for the last two years! The Republicans are playing it – that Democrats own no right to be real angry – and want revenge via THE LAW OF THE LAND!
What I suggest, is the Supreme Court appointees of Donald Trump – along with Clarence Thomas – RESIGN IMMEDIATLY! There is the PENALTY PORTION of all trials. If the Trump appointees are not gone the day before the new Senate and Congress are sworn in, then I highly suggest President Joe Biden sign an executive order – removing them from the bench! It is my opinion, that Donald Trump was not acting in good faith when he placed his hand on the Bible at his inaugural, thus all contracts he made – are null and void! Trump knew he was the God Apollo. I will try to pass a law forbidding any Deity or God from making our laws, or, from appointing Supreme Court Justices. So be it! .

I wanted to go to Switzerland, and show them where real Knight Templar are buried. I turn on my T.V. and……it’s on!

News Flash! “Israeli Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says police have ‘stepped up’ patrols and surveillance across the country, and that thousands of police officers will be deployed during the pope’s visit to ensure it goes smoothly.” (Source: Israel Hayom, May 14, 2014). Rosenfeld’s statement was in direct response to the Roman Catholic official in charge of the Vatican’s properties in the Holy Land, who urged Israel to protect Christian holy sites including churches and monasteries in Jerusalem that had recently been vandalized. And to please do so before Pope Francis’ visit to Israel, Jordan, and the West Bank (Judea/Samaria) May 24-26.

Al-Aqsa is one of the holiest sites in Islam and shares a hilltop with the Temple Mount, the holiest site for Jews. Palestinians consider the site a national symbol, and the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli security forces was a major catalyst for 11 days of violent clashes in 2021.
In response to the raid, a series of rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, which is run by the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Israel then said it had conducted airstrikes targeting Hamas weapons storage and manufacturing sites.

Since the holy Muslim month of Ramadan began on March 22, some Palestinian worshippers have been trying to stay overnight inside Al-Aqsa, which is typically permitted only during the final 10 days of the festive period, The Associated Press reported. Israeli police have entered the site daily to evict the worshippers, the AP said.
After tens of thousands of people attended prayers at Al-Aqsa Tuesday evening, Israeli officials said they were forced to enter the compound when hundreds of Palestinian “agitators” barricaded themselves inside the mosque armed with fireworks and stones.
Videos posted online appeared to show police storming the compound, beating Palestinians with batons and rifle butts and restraining dozens of worshipers, and Palestinians taking aim at police with fireworks. Police said rocks had also been thrown at the officers.
“The youths were afraid and started closing the doors,” Talab Abu Eisha, who was there at the time of the raid, told the AP. “It was an unprecedented scene of violence in terms of police brutality.”
“After many and prolonged attempts to get them out by talking to no avail, police forces were forced to enter the compound in order to get them out,” the Israeli police said.
Police dispersed Palestinians outside the mosque with rubber bullets and stun grenades.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said at least 50 Palestinians were injured in the raid. The police said 350 people were arrested, and one officer was injured in the leg.

The violence at the mosque triggered calls for mass protests by Hamas militants in Gaza. Palestinian civil affairs minister Hussein al-Sheikh said the “the level of brutality requires urgent Palestinian, Arab and international action,” according to the AFP news agency.
Muslim-majority states quickly issued statements condemning the raid, including Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iran. The Arab League called an emergency meeting later on Wednesday.
Tensions have soared in the region since Israel’s new far-right, ultra-nationalist government coalition took power late last year under returning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Israel’s police are now overseen by one of the most radical members of Netanyahu’s cabinet, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who was previously convicted of inciting racism and supporting a terrorist organization.

Al-Aqsa is managed by an Islamic endowment called the Waqf as part of a long-standing agreement under which Muslims are allowed to pray at the site but Jews and Christians are not. The Waqf called the raid a “flagrant violation of the identity and function of the mosque as a place of worship for Muslims.”
Netanyahu has said he is committed to maintaining the status quo at the sensitive site.
The IDF carried out airstrikes against targets belonging to the Syrian military in southern Syria on Monday night, in response to an attempted terrorist attack that was thwarted along the Syrian border the night before.
IDF aircraft, including fighter jets and helicopters, carried out the strikes, according to the IDF.
The targets hit in the strikes included lookout points, intelligence gathering mechanisms, anti-aircraft weapons and means of control and command at Syrian military bases.

On Thanksgiving Eve, I received a wound that almost killed me. I could not stop the bleeding until Saturday around 10:00 P.M. A miracle happened. I did not recieve a call from any family member of friend. I was mocked when I called a proffesional for medical assistence. This fulfils a dream I had when I was very young.
For this reason, and a host of other pressing matters, I found this day, December 1, 2016, the Secular Order of Saint Francis that will unite and revive ancient orders that spring around the name Rougemont and Rosamond. The Red Tower of Rougemont will be the coat of arms of this order. Come gather around the one who came for the poor, the lame, the alien, and the disenfranchised.

The Third Order of Saint Francis, historically known as the Order of Penance of Saint Francis,[1][2][3] is a third order within the Franciscan movement of the Catholic Church. It includes both congregations of vowed men and women and fraternities of men and women living standard lives in the world, often married.
It has been believed that the Third Order of Saint Francis was the oldest of all third orders, but historical evidence does not support this. Similar institutions are found in documentation of some monastic orders in the 12th century. In addition, a third order has been found among the Humiliati, confirmed together with its rule by Pope Innocent III in 1201.[4]
In 1978, the Third Order of Saint Francis was re-organised and given a new Rule of Life by Pope Paul VI. With the new rule, the name used by the secular branch of the order was changed to the Secular Franciscan Order.[5]
There also are Third Order, Society of St. Francis within the Anglican & Episcopal Church.[6]
Above is a photo of the real cave of Saint Francis that Meher Baba entered in 1933. I am very curious when the Order of Saint Francis went to Assisi. The world needs a Champion of the Poor. Who better than Saint Francis? I suspect Eutropia Maude, and Mary Magdalene, were ordained to go into the world and born children. The death of the Kellys, was devastating. B. Don Stevens asked, “Baba, you have explained in the Discourses, God Speaks and elsewhere that an individual cannot attain God-Realization without the aid of a living Perfect Master. Since there was no Perfect Master in Europe at that time, how did Saint Francis achieve Realization?”
Baba turned to Ivy and asked, “Have you heard of the ancient Sufi prophet, Khwaja Khizr?” She replied that she had heard Rabia Martin speak of him. Baba explained: “Khwaja Khizr now and then takes on a physical body if there is some spiritual situation that absolutely demands it. The Realization of Francis was such a case, because he had no Perfect Master to give him Realization. So, on the night we read about on Mount La Verna, near Assisi, during which St. Francis also received the stigmata [wounds of the Crucified Christ], Khwaja Khizr, in his temporary human form, gave this beloved Western saint the touch of grace which made him a Perfect Soul – a Qutub or Perfect Master.”

Meher Baba and Saint Francis

“Saint Francis of Assisi was the only one of the very few saints in Europe to become a Perfect Master.”
Just before Jesus died, he said; “I am thirsty.” The first thing I said when I came back to life, after seeing the Lord, was; “I’m thirsty.”
Consider Mary Dominica Wieneke and the Order of Saint Francis. In searching for the Blue Angel that appeared to my sisters while they slept, and Kay Coakley, I look to my aunt, June Rice, who took care of me while I had the hooping cough. I almost died several times. I was eleven. I had turned blue and my fingers were contorted when I came into the living room where my aunt Lillian and uncle Dick were sitting. Lillian screamed, and Dick started hitting me on my back.
When June would come to my bed in her nightgown, I saw a blue glow coming from her abdomen. She could not have a child due to some operations. She and Vinnie treated me like their child, and were my patrons. June was a devout Catholic.
I suspect this blue angel is associated with Mother Mary. I wondered if it was her ghost. But, I believe it is the Angel that came to Saint Francis when he died during a terrible illness, and came back.
I suspect I am the embodiment of Saint Francis. When I read about Baba coming to the true cave of Saint Francis, all of a sudden I had a vision. I was sitting in that cave. I heard the dry summer grass being stepped upon. Suddenly Baba’s face is beaming at me. I reached out my wounded hand and cried;
“Father!”

[12 ways of realizing me -Meher Baba]
My reason* for believing there is a significant kernel of truth to these theories of Jesus living in India and being buried in Kashmir, is that my master, Meher Baba, said that was the case.
However, Meher Baba was also clear that Jesus was the Avatar of that era. The Avatar is God descended into our realm of cosmic illusion as a man, the ideal or perfect man. Thus he is both God and man simultaneously.
Jesus the Christ The author of this website appears to have a bias (we all have biases) that Jesus was a man only, and that any suggestion that he was divine or of divine origin is a matter of myth. I think his thesis that Jesus’s memory was embellished to make the new religion more palatable to gentiles who were already familiar with similar myths, is plausible. Again, for my bottom-line evaluation, I personally, as a follower of Meher Baba, turn to his explanations rather than to scholarship. (You of course are welcome to give your own weight to various sources.) According to Meher Baba, Jesus was conceived and was born “the usual way,” i.e., the virgin birth was a myth added later on. Jesus did not die from the crucifixion in the sense we usually think of death, but what he did was also not something possible for an ordinary man–he entered the state of Nirvikalpa Samadhi and then returned after the crucifixion, and went to India. If you study the life of Sri Ramakrishna, you will find that he often entered this State, as for example when something would remind him strongly of some particular attribute of God, or when devotional songs were sung in his presence. Nirvikalpa Samadhi is the state of God-Realization or Self-Realization. Jesus, as Avatar, would have had this state along with his ordinary consciousness of being a man, simultaneously. Nirvikalpa Samadhi is only attained by the real death of the limited mind and ego. Jesus already possessed this state of Realization (having been unveiled from it by John the Baptist). So in a sense, Jesus died the real death on the cross, not the faint shadow of it that we consider to be death. One could also say that Jesus was already “dead” in a sense; or one could equally say that he was already beyond death and in the state of being fully alive, so that it was impossible for him to die in the usual sense.** In this sense, whether Jesus took up his same physical body after the crucifixion or didn’t, would not change who Jesus IS one iota. He could take it up again or not take it up again and he would remain the Avatar. In the same way, he was the Avatar before his incarnation as well–“Before Abraham was, I am.” The entire matter is really beyond words to describe adequately, and it comes as no surprise to me how 2,000 years of interpreting and trying to codify it into a rigid doctrine resulted in what has come down to us.
Meher Baba also makes no mention of Jesus being married, but instead refers to him as being single. Comparing events in the life of Meher Baba, the story in the Tomb of Jesus website of the king insisting on Jesus having a companion, and Jesus finally agreeing to allow a woman to assist him, is plausible. However, his having had sexual relations with the woman is not consistent with the behavior of spiritual teachers who have attained this degree of spiritual advancement. I would guess it was assumed on the basis of gossip, by people who could not conceive of a man living with a woman and not having relations with her. If you study the lives of spiritual masters who have achieved this state of consciousness, you find that some of them marry and some do not, but they never get entangled in casual sexual relations. While it is true that spiritual masters of this calibre may have a significant other, very often even this is a chaste relationship. Such was the case with Sri Ramakrishna and his wife Sarada Devi, and one may interpret that it was also the case with St. Francis (who Meher Baba said achieved this state of Nirvikalpa Samadhi) and his beloved Clare.
My main point here is that one must be careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Though it may turn out that Jesus physically survived the crucifixion, and it may also be true that his history was embellished in the manner of myths that had also been applied to other historical figures, this does not mean that he was not an Incarnation of God. It doesn’t necessarily mean that he was simply a prophet, a man, who lived through the crucifixion and then died later as an ordinary man. It also doesn’t mean that there aren’t important truths embedded in the myths that have been preserved as traditional Christian doctrine. It does mean that these myths contain distortion and embellishment, and that it will be a painful and disorienting process for traditional Christians to sort through it and find the truth of it. When the “dust has settled,” I think they will find that Jesus was and is more than traditional Chuch doctrine has portrayed him to be, not less. (Just as the true goal of religion, God-Realization, is much more than living in paradise forever in linear time.) What will emerge, I believe, is not that Jesus was just an ordinary man; nor that he was the only son of an anthropomorphic God. Jesus will finally be let out of both the little conceptual box of materialism, and the little conceptual box of Christian dogma, in which boxes he has been imprisoned for centuries.

*Another clue is that when Jesus appeared to the disciples, he appears to have had a body with the same wounds. It makes no sense to me that Jesus would have resurrected a body with the wounds. It further makes no sense to me that Thomas would have thrust his hands into the wound in Jesus’s side, literally, as per the Biblical account, simply because no-one who loved Jesus as the disciples did would have caused him excruciating physical pain just to satisfy their own selfish doubts. Therefore the account must be exaggerated (another clear indication of editing in the New Testament). Nonetheless, we are probably safe in assuming that this much is accurate, that Jesus’s body bore the wounds from the crucifixion when he returned. Under those circumstances, it is a much simpler and more logical interpretation that he survived the crucifixion than that his body was supernaturally resurrected.
**My interpretation of the crucifixion, based on studying Meher Baba’s life and teachings, is that Jesus was vicariously taking on the suffering of the world, so as to make the world’s load of karma bearable for us. (Meher Baba said that the Avatar did not take on the karma of the world per se, which I interpret to mean that he took on the suffering that resulted from the karma but not the karma itself.) The external crucifixion of Jesus was thus an outward and visible sign of the real inward crucifixion, of the inner spiritual work that Jesus was doing for humanity and for all of Creation. Thus the real inner crucifixion was much, much more than just the outward event of the physical crucifixion.
“Finally we arrived at Assisi at 5 P.M. to find a rather agitated Herbert waiting for us, because we were three hours late in arriving. After a rather restless and depressing week, he had made most successful arrangements for Baba’s retirement (which he tells in much better words than mine).
“Several kilometers from the town, up in the hills on the slopes of Monte Subasio, lies the famous Hermitage of Carceri built by St. Francis and his fellow monks. Below in the woods are several small caves or retreats where people go for meditation. Herbert discovered one of these half-protected by an outside wall. He had hidden this with branches so that it was difficult to find.
“This was one that was actually used by St. Francis himself. At 6:30 P.M. we had a light meal at the Windsor Hotel and drove in a car most of the way. The last part we walked on foot and, finally, scaled a low wall and plunged into the woods led by Herbert down an intricate winding path.

“The cave we found was an ideal spot and perfectly suited to Baba’s requirements. Herbert had thought out everything with such care that there was nothing left to be desired. Herbert is always very meticulous and careful in all he undertakes. The light was beginning to go a little as we entered the woods. It was just after sunset. I remember the birds and their song dying away gradually.
We settled Baba in and he told us that no one must look at him and, above all, not to touch him.
“It was arranged that Herbert and Chanji were to keep watch outside the cave during the night, to be relieved by Kaka and myself at 9 o’clock the next morning. Baba said that Kaka and I were to go to mass at 7 A.M. the next morning and then we were to kiss the Tomb of St. Francis. We bade them goodnight and found our intricate way out of the woods.
“After mass we shouldered our rucksacks and toiled up the streets through Assisi to the hills of Monte Subasio. As we got out of town, it began to get warmer and warmer.
“Poor Kaka was laden down, and not in such good training as I, so we had to stop from time to time for him to rest and get his breath and cool off. At last we arrived, a little late —about 9:15, and we were glad to reach the cool shade of the wood where we found Herbert and Chanji waiting for as after a wakeful night.
“Nothing had transpired and there had been no interruptions of the calm and peace which pervaded the woods. We settled down to our vigil outside the cave. Herbert and Chanji returned to Assisi to rest.
“The sun rose higher, but we were well shaded from the heat by the trees. An intense calm was everywhere, but the woods were alive with birds whose song was deafening. As if in memory of St. Francis, they seemed to throng around us. Butterflies were often near; several lit on our hands and bodies.
“Gradually it grew warmer, and even in the deep shade, one felt the heat of midsummer.
“Towards midday I heard sounds from inside the cave. Forgetting Baba’s instructions about not looking at him, I saw him stand up with his eyes shut and face the sun. He made strange noises. Not daring to look again, I lay quiet.
“At one o’clock he clapped his hands. We pulled away the branches from the entrance. Taking the board he spelt out directions, telling Kaka to go to Assisi and ask Herbert and Chanji to be with him at 4:30, but that I was to call him there.
“Baba came out of the cave but told us not to come near him or touch him. He walked about alone in the woods for half-an-hour and then went into the cave again.

The Custody of the Holy Land (Latin: Custodia Terræ Sanctæ) is a custodian priory of the Order of Friars Minor in Jerusalem, founded as the Province of the Holy Land in 1217 by Saint Francis of Assisi, who had also founded the Franciscan Order in 1209. In 1342, the Franciscans were declared by two papal bulls as the official custodians of the Holy Places in the name of the Catholic Church.[1]
The Custody headquarters are located in the Monastery of Saint Saviour, a 16th-century Franciscan monastery near the New Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. The office can bestow—only to those entering its office—the Jerusalem Pilgrim’s Cross upon deserving Catholic visitors to the city.[citation needed]
The Franciscans trace their presence in the Holy Land to 1217. By 1229, the friars had a small house near the fifth station of the Via Dolorosa and in 1272 were permitted to settle in the Cenacle on Mount Zion. In 1309 they also settled in Bethlehem and the Holy Sepulchre along with the Canons Regular.
After the final fall of the second Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem in 1291, the title of Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem was vested in the Custody ex officio in Rome, while resuming its activities in the Holy Land, including surveilling the accolades of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre 1342–1489 until its Grand Magistry was vested in the papacy. Following the restoration of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem as residential episcopal see in 1847, the Patriarch henceforth additionally assumed the position of the order’s ecclesiastical superior, eventually supplanting the Custody of the Holy land as Grand Prior of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre.
The Custody of the Holy Land has repeatedly expressed concern about the survival of the Christians in the Holy Land, including the strained situation for Christians in the rest of the Middle East.[2]
Between 2004 and 2016, the Custodial Curia was led by Custos Fr. Pierbattista Pizzaballa.[3][4] Since 2016, the chief custodian has been Francesco Patton [it].
Mission[edit]
The mission of the Custody of the Holy Land is to guard “the grace of the Holy Places” of the Holy Land and the rest of the Middle East, “sanctified by the presence of Jesus“,[5] as well as pilgrims visiting them, on behalf of the Catholic Church.[6][7]

An online history, The Franciscan Presence in the Holy Land, has been prepared by the Custodian Emeritus (later Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem), Pierbattista Pizzaballa, OFM.
The Franciscan presence in the Holy Land started in 1217, when the province of Syria was established, with Frater (Brother) Elias of Cortona as Minister. By 1229, the friars had a small house near the fifth station of the Via Dolorosa. In 1272 the Sultan Baibars of Egypt permitted the Franciscans to settle in the Cenacle (also called the Upper Room) on Mount Sion. Later on, in 1309, they also settled in Bethlehem and in the Holy Sepulchre, along with the Canons Regular.

During the difficult years of the Great War, many friars belonging to the enemy nations fighting against the Ottomans and Germans were deported.[9] In 1917, when the Italian friars were just about to be sent away, reprieve came in the last minute, which was attributed to the triduum celebrated that year in honour of St Anthony of Padua, a saint venerated for his miracles.[9] Consequently, in 1920, St Anthony was chosen as the patron saint of the Custody.[9]
In 1333, Robert d’Anjou, King of Naples, and his wife, Sancia of Majorca, bought the Cenacle from the Sultan of Egypt and gave it to the Franciscans. In 1342, Pope Clement VI, by the Papal bulls Gratiam agimus and Nuper charissimae declared the Franciscans as the official custodians of the Holy Places in the name of the Catholic Church.[1] A portion reads:
A short time ago good news from the king and queen reached our Apostolic See relating that, at great cost and following difficult negotiations, they had obtained a concession from the Sultan of Babylon [that is, Cairo], who to the intense shame of Christians occupies the Holy Sepulchre of the Lord and the other Holy Places beyond the sea that were sanctified by the blood of this same Redeemer, to wit that friars of your Order may reside continuously in the church known as the Sepulchre and celebrate there Solemn Sung Masses and the Divine Office in the manner of the several friars of this Order who are already present in this place; moreover, this same Sultan has also conceded to the King and Queen the Cenacle of the Lord, the chapel where the Holy Spirit was manifested to the Apostles and the other chapel in which Christ appeared to the Apostles after his resurrection, in the presence of Blessed Thomas; and also the news of how the Queen built a convent on Mount Zion where, as is known, the Cenacle and the said chapels are located; where for some time she has had the intention of supporting twelve friars of your Order to assure the divine Liturgy in the church of the Holy Sepulchre, along with three laymen charged with serving the friars and seeing to their needs.[10]

The Custodian was described as the “Guardian of Mount Zion in Jerusalem”. Between 1342 and 1489, the Custodian was the head of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre and held the ex officio title of Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. From 1374, he was based at the Basilica di San Lorenzo fuori le Mura in Rome.
In 1489, Pope Innocent VIII suppressed the Order of the Holy Sepulchre and ruled that it was to be merged with the Knights Hospitaller. In 1496, Pope Alexander VI, restored the Order of Holy Sepulchre to independent status, but the Custodian ceased to be the head of the Order. Instead, a Grand Master of the Order was created, and the office vested in the papacy. The Custodian continued to act as the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem ex officio until 1830, and by being appointed to both offices until 1905. The office of Grand Master remained vested in the papacy until 1949.[11] On 29 August 2011, Archbishop Edwin Frederick O’Brien was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI Grand Master to succeed Cardinal John Patrick Foley, who resigned the office on 24 February 2011 due to ill health. The Order is a member of many international bodies and has observer status at others (such as the United Nations). The Grand Master is a papal viceroy who assists Vatican diplomacy with procedural support for making motions, proposing amendments and requiring votes in the sphere of international diplomacy.
Franciscan friars cared for the Cenacle, restoring also the building with Gothic vaults, until the Ottoman Empire captured Jerusalem and banished all Christians. After the Franciscan friars’ eviction, the Cenacle was transformed into a mosque. Christians were not allowed to use the room for prayer until the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.
In 1623, the Latin Province of the Holy Land was split into a number of smaller entities, called Custodies – creating Custodies of Cyprus, Syria, and the Holy Land proper. The Custody of the Holy Land included the monasteries of Saint-Jean-d’Acre, Antioch, Sidon, Tyre, Jerusalem and Jaffa.
In 1847, a resident Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem was restored in the Holy Land, together with the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem became the ecclesiastical superior of the Order, and eventually assumed the title Grand Prior, supplanting the Custodian. The office of Grand Master still remained vested in the papacy.
In 1937, Alberto Gori was appointed Custodian of the Holy Land, an office he would occupy until 1949, when he was appointed Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, an office he held until 1970. In Gori’s reports to the Vatican in the 1940s, he was critical of Jewish and later Israeli forces, whom he accused of destruction of holy places.[12] Despite repeated Israeli assurances that Israel will guarantee freedom of religion and safeguard the Holy Places of all religions, Pope Pius XII issued several encyclicals expressing concerns about the holy places as well as access.[13] In 1949, at the time of appointing Gori to the office of Latin Patriarch, Pius XII also relinquished the title of Grand Master.[14]

Rick surrendered his time in India at his “Master’s lotus feet,” and Baba gave him some specific instructions.
As the time for Rick’s visit came to a close, Baba stated, “My time (for the breaking of my silence) is fast approaching. The most important thing for you is to hold fast to my daaman. What does ‘holding the daaman’ mean? To do exactly what I say, to obey me implicitly. I am God. I am Truth.”
After I posted this, I recalled I talked about being a newcomer to AA. Rick said AA came up in another big Baba meeting. I thought I had close friends in the Gall and Corbin family, but, I was wrong. I was not invited to Ed Corbin and Jon Gall’s funeral. I took Mark’s mother to synagogue and attended montly dinners at her rest home. I was not invited to say farewell. I did go with Mak to his wife’s sober birthday meeting, and Mark helped me get Ed into srenet Lane where I gradated fro the New Hope program. But my Harvard friends were not interest in knowing the spirtual side of their – Playmate & Errand Boy.
For years I got up at five in the morning and wrote till two. Then I would ride my bike to Ed’s place, and ply videp games. We had played Frisbee Golf until Ed got injured. When I got a car, I took Ed to the gorcery storee for food – and a shitload of beer. When I told him the shocks were gone in my Toyota, he grew concerned. He was getting SSI – too! His three sons and ex were making money in real estate. They visit their father – once in a while. Ed did not want to appear, needy, or helpless. That was my job. Mark is a millionaire who published many books. Ed published a photo-bio of Eisenhower. When I moved to Springfield get away front the crazy King of Eugene Anarchists’, I did not visit Ed as much. He got a neighbor to go on beet runs. I doubt my good friends read – one post from this blog. I felt they were slowly demoting me, because I asked them for stuff. They did not want to hear about the troubles with my daughter – and grandson. Ed’s needs were paramount. The average alcoholic will devastate the lives of everyone around him/her. Joy did honor me being a brother in AA, and acknowledged I had a spiritual program. But, that program had to go. I have been in a spiritual crisis, because, in truth, I have not been a member of – any family – mot of my life!
This morning I found these two posts from 2011. That’s thirteen years ago! I have been in denial. I have been INVISIBLE to all my families and friends. However – my enemies have been on me – like a big dog! I got no help!
For twenty-four hours I have been mustering the Spiritual Courage to RULE Israel is GUILTY of Religious Terrorism. have no one to consult whatever this is a good, or, bad idea! Par for the course!
I conclude the World is Spiritually Bankrupt. I conclude all three relgious seeded by Abraham – want the world to be on the brink of total disaster – so ther messiah, savior, and grand Caliph, will come.

On the temple wall, facing the courtyard, for all devout Jews to see, was placed the gifts that Queen Helena the Nazarite, gave. One was a gold Menorah that reflected the rising sun, and the words from Numbers on the judging of a Sotah, a woman accused of adultery. were not these words like molten gold when the sung rose?
Jews came from all over the world to the temple and read these words. Why is it that no Christian minister or priest knows what Jesus wrote in the dust?
How long must we wait for the truth and the answer? Not long!

Mark, Joy, and Jon Gall knew I had been on the bus with Ken Kesey, the Acid Guru of Oregon? The Galls knew I was authoring several books, including my autobiography ‘Bonds With Angels. Mark published several books on how to educate educators. Not once did he offer to help me with my books. Neither did Ed Corbin, or any member of his family. Marks said Richard Albert was his mentor at Harvard. As Ram Dass, Albert promoted the ingestion of LSD. Mark clams he took LSD while at Harvard as part of a experiment he was paid to attend. Ed Corbin took a lot of LSD, and his three sons experimented with drugs. Many years, Mark titles me “odd”
During the acid trip I had after I died, I began to discourage all my hippie friends to not take any drugs. This was 1967. I was about to turn twenty-one. I am thirty-six years clean and sober, and I am made out to be “odd” even severely mentally ill because of my past experiences.
On February 26, 2024, the day after Meher Baba’s birthday, I discover this page about. In 1988 I sat at a table at a table with “The Baba-Boys” in a Catholci College in Portland. I did not see the note saying

Some Baba-boy suggested I could stay because Meher-Baba loved these cosmic matches. We had a cosmic Pinball Contest two determine who the Supreme Baba Wizard is – or was!
Mark and Ed could not beat me at any video game we played. Not even close! The Harvard-Boys flunked out when it came to owning a Divine Intuition. I’m a High School Dropout!

Among the birthday greetings, cards and cables was a poem from an American college student at Harvard named Rick Chapman, a friend of Robert Dreyfuss in Boston, Massachusetts. Hearing the poem Baba was touched by it and cabled Rick this message on February 27th: “The music of my love singing from your heart made me happy. Let your heartbeats be my song. I send my love to you and Robert.”

They left Ahmednagar that afternoon and traveled overland to Germany, and from there traveled by plane to America. Mik and Ursula stayed first in New York City and then traveled to California, where they met Robert Dreyfuss, Rick Chapman, Allan Cohen, Paula Gordon and others, and like them helped to spread Meher Baba’s message to college students and “hippies” and “acid heads” (LSD users) warning them about taking drugs of any kind.

JAMES HALL MCGREW, known as “Jim,” found out about Meher Baba from Rick Chapman in the summer of 1965 after graduating from college at the age of twenty-one. Jim and Rick had been long-time friends in high school in Denver, Colorado, and they had been roommates during their freshman year at Harvard in 1961-62. In the summer of 1965, McGrew was living in Denver and waiting to begin service in the United States Peace Corps in India. Rick Chapman had returned from San Francisco full of enthusiasm for Baba, having met with Ivy Duce and the Sufis there, seen movies of Baba, purchased some books, and signed up for the charter flight to India for the sahavas at that time planned by Baba for December 1965.
Jim McGrew and Rick Chapman had both previously been interested in spiritual development, and McGrew became keenly interested in Meher Baba and purchased some books by and about Baba himself. McGrew began his training program for the Peace Corps at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. Rick Chapman was then in Cambridge, Massachusetts, finishing his final year at Harvard University.
In September 1965, Meher Baba canceled the December sahavas, promising to meet with his lovers “somewhere, sometime, somehow.” Baba further announced his intention to go into seclusion and his wish to be undisturbed even though he was keenly aware of the heartbreak of his lovers who missed seeing him.
As narrated, Jim McGrew and Rick Chapman’s mutual friend, Robert Dreyfuss, had begun a hitch-hiking trip in Europe overland to India before the cancellation and continued on his journey to India unaware of the cancellation of the sahavas. In November of 1965, McGrew and Chapman received word that Dreyfuss had met with Meher Baba in Meherazad.

Eruch asked him who he was and Jim McGrew identified himself. Eruch said that he was welcome and showed him to a porch. There Eruch showed him some photograph albums depicting Baba at the 1965 sahavas for Easterners in Poona. While Jim McGrew was sitting on the porch, Mani came and introduced herself, as did Rano Gayley. McGrew had literally never in his life met any of Baba’s lovers before; these mandali were the first lovers (other than Rick Chapman and Robert Dreyfuss) that he had met.

| MEANWHILE IN AMERICA, Meher Baba’s message on drugs was being widely spread by a group of hardworking young lovers, such as Robert Dreyfuss, Allan Cohen and Rick Chapman, who wrote articles, gave talks and appeared on television and radio shows, appealing to young people to give up drugs. As a result of this anti-drug campaign, many came to know of Baba and several to love him. In fact, back on April 21st, Baba had Adi write the following to Ivy O. It was sent to hundreds of college campus and city newspapers as a letter to the editor. It was published widely in America, including excerpts in major national media outlets such as the Christian Science Monitor, Time magazine and Newsweek magazine. | ||
| The use of drugs from marijuana and amphetamines to LSD, DMT and peyote is now a major controversy. Psychedelic or consciousness-expanding drugs can provide experiences so impressive and profound that more and more people are looking to them as the most immediate and effective way to deepen personal insight and expand awareness. That these experiences areimpressive is a well-established fact with us; we have actively followed drug research from its earliest roots and are thoroughly familiar with the enchantments of almost every facet of psychedelic indulgence. Searching for lasting positive value, however, we concluded that drugs constitute only a subtle escape from the conscious effort that eventually must be made.Although drug enthusiasts frequently turn to Eastern philosophers and spiritual teachings for metaphors to describe and justify their psychedelic experiences, no authentic teachings or guides have ever sanctioned the use of drugs in the quest of increased awareness and enlightenment. Here the statements of Avatar Meher Baba are pertinent. Meher Baba is a non-sectarian spiritual Master, living now in India, who is acknowledged in the East and West as the authority on higher states of consciousness. (For one, U. S. psychedelic spokesman Dr. Richard Alpert recognizes Meher Baba’s mastery in this field.)When consulted about psychedelics, Meher Baba replied: “The experiences which drugs induce are as far removed from Reality as is a mirage from water. No matter how much you pursue the mirage you will never quench your thirst, and the search for Truth through drugs must end in disillusionment. Many people in India smoke hashish and ganja; they see colors, forms and lights and it makes them elated. But this elation is only temporary. It gives only experience of illusion, and serves to take one farther away from reality. The feeling of having had a glimpse of higher states of consciousness may only lull one into a sense of false security. Although LSD is not a physically addicting drug, one can become attached to the experiences arising from its use, and one gets tempted to use it in increased doses, again and again, in the hope of deeper and deeper experiences. But this can only lead to madness.*Our experience corroborates Meher Baba’s statement: drugs of any kind inevitably become a blind alley for self-fulfillment. | Frederick Chapman, but called by his friends “Rick,” had graduated from Harvard in June 1966, at age twenty-three, and had been granted a year’s Fulbright teaching scholarship in India. He had specifically applied to go to India fully expecting not to meet Baba, as he knew Baba was in seclusion, but he hoped to be able to meet as many people as possible who had met Baba. He wrote to Adi Sr., informing him of his plans and requesting the names and addresses of lovers he might contact while in India.Rick arrived in India on June 20th, and following a two-week orientation in Delhi and Srinagar, Kashmir, he was assigned to teach at the H. K. Arts College in Ahmedabad, a large city in Gujarat State. He had ten days of vacation in August, which he decided to spend in Bombay and Poona visiting Baba lovers. Rick wrote to Eruch: Baba’s orders to me have been not to come to him until he himself calls. I will, of course, obey his perfect will. For the first six weeks that Rick Chapman was in India, Meher Baba did not call for him. But on the morning of August 10th, when he arrived in Bombay and was met at Victoria train station by Sohrabji Siganporia and Kishan Chand Gajwani, Rick was informed, “We understand that Baba has called you to see him on August 17th!” As shocked as he was elated, Rick could barely absorb such extraordinary and unexpected news.But two days later Adi Sr. phoned from Ahmednagar, saying that Baba was putting a stop to all visitors from August 16th, and wished to remain undisturbed until the end of 1967. Therefore, he said, Rick Chapman’s meeting had been moved up to the 15th, at nine o’clock in the morning.Rick’s first thought was: “Oh, here goes Baba, changing plans like he always does. I’ll probably get word tomorrow that he had changed the meeting to yesterday, with Baba wondering why I wasn’t there!”Rick arrived in Poona at 5:30 A.M. on Monday, August 15th, and was met at the train station by Adi Sr., Sheela and Bhavsar. He drove with Adi to Ahmednagar, and they had breakfast at Sarosh’s home. “Baba is very particular about time,” Adi said, even as he asked for another cup of tea, Rick recalled. “But don’t worry,” Adi continued, “he will blame me, not you, if we are late for your nine o’clock meeting.” True to the task, however, Adi drove him the nine miles to Meherazad precisely on time, and Rick was taken inside the hall, where Baba smilingly embraced him. In his words, Rick Chapman later described those first moments with the Beloved: As I leaned over to lay my heart onto my ‘Heart’ I glanced into his light-flashing eyes — moment of Sun-brightness, moment of wordless joy, moment of moments in the arms of God!Baba kissed him on the forehead.Rick Chapman later recollected the experience: I did not clearly recall for about two weeks that Baba had kissed me on the forehead — it was so gentle, so natural. I had just embraced him for the first time in this life, though it was as if he were my oldest friend, beaming, radiating joy as I entered his arms. As I came closer into his tight hug, suddenly a voice came into my mind: ‘Stop! Don’t waste this time — look at him!’ So I turned my eyes a fraction of an inch, from dazedly looking over his shoulder to looking into his eyes six inches away, flashing light. Surely the men sitting nearby on the floor saw him let the light flash out of his eyes into my own… . Rick sat down on the floor across from Baba, and the following exchange took place:Baba asked, “How did you sleep on the train last night?”Rick said, “Fine, Baba. I slept well, but naturally, I have been very excited the past few days.”Baba raised his eyebrows and asked, “Why?”“The opportunity to see you now, at a time when your lovers all over the world are longing for even a glimpse of you is tremendously exciting,” replied Rick.“You are indeed very fortunate to be here at this time,” Baba emphasized. “I am in strict seclusion, and from this day on, my seclusion will be even more strict — I will be seeing no one outside the immediate mandali, not even any of my close lovers in Ahmednagar.“But,” gestured Baba, referring to Rick’s excitement, “you should pay no attention to the thoughts of the mind. It is the nature of the mind to have every kind of thought, good and bad. You must long for me in your heart.” | ||
| Baba continued, “In fact, pay no attention whatsoever to the Spiritual Path, the planes of consciousness, or to any spiritual experiences — they are all nothing but toys for children, because they are nothing but illusion. You must strive to see me as I really am! Then you will be able to know me as I am.“But, how will you see me as I am? You must long to see me in your heart. And where will you get this longing? By loving me.”After a few moments, Baba smiled and gestured, “God proposes, but man disposes.” As Rick stared at him quizzically, Baba repeated the reversed epigram, gesturing, “God proposes, but man disposes.”Then he explained, “I had proposed to bring you here for just a few minutes, then send you away, but you have disposed of my proposal!”After this lighthearted moment, Baba introduced Francis Brabazon and asked him to read a recent poem of his which contained a reference to LSD: | ||

| At Baba’s indication Francis read another poem he had written — an exquisite ghazal, which made Baba beam and snap his fingers as certain lines of finely tuned words came to a climax.Baba then called upon Aloba to recite in Persian a couplet from Hafiz, which Baba translated as follows:“Millions of men of God stand in a queueto cross the threshold to the God-Man,and only one crosses the threshold.Out of millions who cross the threshold,only one can know me as I really am.”Looking at Rick, once again, for the third time, Baba reiterated, “You must strive to see me as I really am!”In response, Rick said, “By your grace, Baba.”Almost without a pause, Baba replied, “You strive — I will help you.”With a serious look, Baba added, “Don’t let me down.”The meeting included some further exchanges, with Baba listening as Rick poured out his heart in love for his Beloved. | ||

Rick surrendered his time in India at his “Master’s lotus feet,” and Baba gave him some specific instructions.
As the time for Rick’s visit came to a close, Baba stated, “My time (for the breaking of my silence) is fast approaching. The most important thing for you is to hold fast to my daaman. What does ‘holding the daaman’ mean? To do exactly what I say, to obey me implicitly. I am God. I am Truth.”
Baba called Rick to embrace him again, and then sent him out of the hall with Eruch; Rick’s forty-five-minute meeting had come to an end. Baba also sent Francis, Nariman and Adi Sr. out to talk with him. Before anything else, however, Eruch sat with Rick as they together recounted Rick’s interview with Baba, which Eruch jotted down detail by detail. Baba also sent two mangoes, from the mast’s trees in Meherazad, to Rick through Manu, which Rick was to eat as his prasad.
Every day before Baba retired to his room, he would salute the mandali in a joined-handed namaste, which the mandali would reciprocate. On this day, Baba called Rick back to the hall for a final glimpse of him. The only words Rick could muster, as he himself joined his hands in namaste before his Beloved, were “Thank you.” Baba then departed for lunch.
| After meeting Baba, Rick Chapman returned to Poona and back to Ahmedabad via Bombay. Two days after he left, August 17th, Rick wrote the following to Adi: | ||
| Dear brother Adi,Still reeling, I am completely unable to express my happiness at meeting my true Beloved. That God disposed of His own proposal and allowed me to stay close to Him for several of His smiles and a thorough soaking in His love — this is nothing that can properly be spoken of by one who can see Baba only as He really isn’t. Part extract from Ivy Duce’s journal written in 1966:
Two different boys [Robert Dreyfuss and Steve Simon] had literally worked their way all across the world to India to find Baba and he told them to come back and tell every one not to take drugs. Then he wrote me and told me to keep my eye on the Harvard boys [Allan Cohen, Rick Chapman and Jim McGrew] and help them to fulfill his commands. I could not help thinking what a weird way to be spending my old age — with a lot of beatnik youngsters and drug addicts. From then on ensued much correspondence among us and we were busy preparing a rebuttal to the big LSD week-long conference to be held here in the city — both the originators of this craze were to be present, Leary and Alpert. By then Alpert said that he mistrusted Baba, which showed his ego working.

A Boston man named Bob Dreyfuss and later Jim McGrew, went to see Baba. Baba was in seclusion, but he agreed to see Dreyfuss when he learned that Dreyfuss had worked his way to India in time to arrive in Poona for the December Sahavas we were scheduled to have, but which Baba had meantime canceled, and Dreyfuss did not know it. Baba told him to stop taking LSD and to go back to Boston and tell everybody else also to stop. Two boys he talked with, Rick Chapman and Allan Cohen became interested in Baba — and the Master put his will behind them, using me as a sort of central bureau for the work, and they got into magazines, newspapers, television and radio. It was fantastic. Rick went off to India on a Fulbright scholarship and eventually Allan came out here and is working on the campus of the University of California in Berkeley.
Rick Chapman arrived in Poona about a week later in April and stayed in makeshift quarters at the Poona Center, where K. K. Ramakrishnan also stayed in a small room as the Center’s caretaker. But although he would occasionally call Ramakrishnan concerning certain work, Baba did not call Chapman during this time to have darshan. Not wishing to disobey Baba’s order that no one should disturb his seclusion, Chapman, likewise, did not seek Baba’s darshan before returning to America on May 6th. When Eruch casually suggested that Baba might call Chapman, Baba remarked, “No, that one visit was enough for him.”
The following is an excerpt from a letter from Rick Chapman to Allan Cohen, dated May 11th, 1967:
| … Before I left Poona Baba sent me a message which contained immense emotional charge:“You, Allan and Bob [Dreyfuss] are the ones who can spread My Message of Truth to the Americans.” | ||

| Allan Cohen sent Baba newspaper clippings and a report of his recent work of spreading Baba’s message against drugs. Baba cabled him around the 20th of July: | ||
| I am very happy at your response to my call to accelerate effort, for the time is fast approaching. I am proud of you, Rick [Chapman], Bob [Robert Dreyfuss] and Baba boys and girls. My love-blessing to you all. Lord Meher Volume 20, Page 6520 | ||

(1) There is one very important point: that none of the mandali should disturb Baba until November end with any sort of correspondence or news received through telegrams, however important the letters or telegrams may be, EXCEPT important letters which are received from Maharani Shantadevi, Nariman Dadachanji, Don Stevens, Allan Cohen, Rick Chapman, Robert Dreyfuss and Louis Van Gasteren, and these letters are to be read to Baba only on Saturdays at 9:00 A.M.

Robert Dreyfuss met Van Gasteren through a mutual friend in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in June of 1965. In September 1966, Dreyfuss stayed with Van Gasteren for a week in Amsterdam and during that visit spoke to him at length about Baba. The filmmaker and his wife had been guests of Rick Chapman in California the previous August. Van Gasteren told Dreyfuss about his plans to make a 35mm color film entitled, “Nema Aviona Za Zagreb” (translated from the Croatian, “There Is No Plane for Zagreb” – Zagreb is a town in Yugoslavia). Van Gasteren said he wished to include Baba in it but had no money to finance it. Later financing was arranged.

| My work is being actively carried on in Andhra, Hamirpur and other Centers throughout the world. In America, many, many new lovers are coming to me, and they too are active in my cause. Highly educated youths like Allan Cohen, Rick Chapman and Robert Dreyfuss are always busy with my work there. Rick and Allan appeared on a nationally syndicated radio and television show [The Joe Pyne Show] on August 23rd, and spoke about me to millions of listeners and viewers. Bill Le Page has done the same thing in Australia and writes that the response has been tremendous.And here you are – you do not do anything, though you are only nine miles away from me! You get the chance of my darshan, which outsiders do not have. Even from my seclusion, I am meeting with you today so that you should know how to do work for me. Remember that only God is real, and all else is illusion. | ||

| 1968 Regular reports of anti-drug work done by Allan Cohen, Rick Chapman, Robert Dreyfuss, Paula Gordon and Alain Youell, among others, would be sent to Baba despite the ban on correspondence. On April 26th, Baba cabled Chapman and Cohen: | ||
| In the midst of my seclusion work, I had Eruch read out today your work report including April 12th to the 14th. I am very happy with the work done and want you to remember that under no circumstances can Truth ever let down Truth. | ||
| Chapman and Cohen cabled back on the 1st of May: | ||
| Mysterious and wonderful are the ways of the Avatar who sits silently in seclusion and draws the whole world to his feet. Your work is our joy to behold as it awakens Truth in others to find in you the only Truth. We rejoice in the certainty of your love. Lord Meher Volume 20, Page 6631 | ||
Baba started to say something about Rick Chapman, when one of the men mandali (who had been told to remind Baba when five minutes had expired) interrupted him. Baba gestured, “Yes, Rick Chapman was here for a long time too.” Baba laughed and indicated it was all right.
Only then did Jerry Paulson realize he had overstayed the five-minute limit by twenty minutes. Baba suggested that Jerry Paulson contact Rick Chapman when he returned. “Make an attempt to see him.”

On November 3rd, 1968, Allan Cohen, Rick Chapman and Robert Dreyfuss were written by Eruch that Baba wished them to convey a message from him to about twenty of his chief young lover-workers in America and England who had taken the responsibility of starting projects in Baba’s name. The letter from Eruch read:
Here is an important task but a pleasant one which Beloved Baba has set for you. Baba wishes you to convey his message as given hereunder to all his chief young lover-workers in the U.S.A. and England – those who have taken the responsibility of starting Baba projects and have inspired others to rally around them – you are to send the following message from their Beloved Avatar Meher Baba:
“YOU ARE DEAR TO ME AND I AM PLEASED WITH THE WAY YOU HAVE COME FORWARD IN MY NAME AND WORK. THE TIME IS HERE AND SOON THE WORLD WILL KNOW THAT I AM THE ANCIENT ONE.”
Of course the message applies equally to you three. I will appreciate it if you will please send me a typed copy of the names and addresses of these fortunate young lover-workers of Baba.

In Adi K. Irani’s words: “It takes time for Meher Baba’s Word to penetrate the universe.”
Several thousand people arrived during this week, from near and far. The first to arrive among the Westerners was Don Stevens. Soon after came Harry Kenmore, Adi Jr. and Delia De Leon. Rick Chapman, Allan Cohen and Aneece Hassen arrived on the 4th of February, and Irwin and Edward Luck arrived at Meherabad three days later on the morning of the 7th. They were all accommodated at Sarosh and Viloo’s home.

A Review of Rick Chapman’s Book, Adventures in India with Meher Baba,

There isn’t a Baba lover in the world who couldn’t, with very little effort, relate intimately and intensely to this most unique of all adventures, unique because the adventure is both an inner and outer one, the outer one not without some of the risks and daredevil hazards associated with most worldly adventures. There also isn’t a Baba lover in the world who won’t find himself or herself wishing that it could have been their adventure as well. But this book does more than just make me envious, because in so many ways it takes me on that adventure vicariously.
In 1966 Rick had left the comforts of life in America to travel to Ahmedabad, India, on a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English to some of the most intractable, lazy and uncooperative students any teacher would give a painful tooth removal to avoid.
While in Ahmedabad Rick was in constant contact with Adi K. Irani, Eruch Jessawala, and sometimes Mani by Baba’s direction. Baba’s strict seclusion and Universal Work made the chance that Baba would give Rick the once-in-a-few-million-lifetimes opportunity to meet Him seem highly unlikely, so Rick essentially pushed that idea out of his mind, more or less resigned to the fact that no, he would not meet Meher Baba, though Baba was not only living in the same country, but was just a day or so’s journey to His Heart and Home.
That Golden Opportunity came, however, in August of 1966, when Rick was suddenly summoned to Meherazad to meet Meher Baba for no more than just a few minutes, which invitation couldn’t have come as a greater shock or surprise to Rick. The date and time had been set, and now Rick found himself being driven by Adi to Meherazad to meet the Avatar of the Age, God in Human Form, Meher Baba. At Meherazad Rick was greeted by Eruch, tried vainly to calm his beating heart, took off his shoes and entered Mandali Hall and…well, what happened next you’ll have read for yourself.
That handful of minutes’ meeting with Baba turned into the better part of an hour, during which infinitely small slice of time Baba gave Rick what can only be described as the very core of all His messages, whether written or given personally to one or five thousand-and-one of His lovers.
It’s as though, knowing this would be Rick’s first and last visit with Him, the Avatar of this Age condensed everything any aspirant would need to know to love and please Him, a sort of cut-to-the-chase, jump-to-the-head-of-the-class, jettisoning-along-the-way-all-detours, rest-stops-and-every-possible-distraction sling shot into the very Heart of the God-Man Himself. What was that amazing message? Ah, once again you’ll have to read it for yourself, for it is too precious to try to excerpt…but I’ll give you a hint. Baba’s message to Rick and to all His lovers can be summed up in just one word: longing.
This part of the story alone would make its own volume, and in fact it did. You can read the full account in Rick’s previously published book describing that first trip to India and his meeting with Baba, a book entitled Meeting God in Human Form.
But there’s a great deal more to ADVENTURES IN INDIA WITH MEHER BABA than just the summary of Rick’s meeting with the Avatar. Following that meeting Baba mapped out for Rick what could only be called a whirlwind, India-wide tour of almost every place in India that Baba had ever visited, and He asked that he not only tour each place but also contact the Baba-lovers living in those places, many of which, as you’ll read, amounted to little more than dust-dimmed villages or small out-of-the-way towns that had been blessed by His footsteps. At the conclusion of those tours, Beloved Baba also asked Rick to write up his experiences so they could be printed and widely distributed to Baba’s lovers around the world, and those accounts, read out word-for-word to the Avatar, make up a significant part of this book.
ADVENTURES tells the story of those tours and visits with verve, economy, and a down-to-earth humor that’s often hilariously graphic. And speaking of graphics, what makes this book even more enjoyable is the variety of type fonts and sizes suited to each story or passage; the book is also liberally laced with color and black-and-white photographs and images of notes and letters that had been typed or hand-written at the time, so that, nearly fifty years later, one gets a feeling of time-traveling back to the Sixties.
For those of you who still remember the worldwide upheaval that was the Sixties, you’ll recall only too well the huge (and ultimately self-destructive) role that LSD played in the lives of millions of young people around the world at the time, but especially in America, where a great many spiritually starving kids were “tripping” on LSD under the misconception that they could attain enlightenment, or even become God Himself, through the ingestion of this sometimes thrilling or terrifying, but enormously powerful and often dangerous substance.
Baba had asked Rick, as well as Allan Cohen and Robert Dreyfuss and others of His Baba kids, to spread the word about the dangers of LSD, marijuana and other hallucinogens, and to make absolutely clear that continued use of these substances, especially LSD, would be mentally, physically, and spiritually harmful and could potentially end in madness or death. This direction by Baba led to Rick & Co. giving many talks at colleges, universities and other places, as well as on the leading TV and radio shows of the day, while also seeing that the Avatar’s warning got published in as many magazines as possible. Now, half a century later, Baba’s message about drugs is particularly pertinent once again, as marijuana is now legal for recreational use in Alaska, Oregon, Colorado, and Washington, with more states to soon follow.
In the end, ADVENTURES is well worth reading because, from what I know of him, what Rick experienced in less than an hour under the Sun of Meher Baba’s Love seems to have left him still Sun-burned more than fifty years later. Truly, Rick’s Baba-inspired story is unique from every Baba perspective. It’s not only one hell of an adventure, but it’s also an inspiration.
