Dear Governor Kotek: Oregon State University was wrong when it concluded my relation, Senator Thomas Hart Benton, was the architect of Manifest Destiny. I wrote Ed Ray and members of the OSU History Department about this matter, and was utterly ignored. It was George Washington, John Astor, and Washington Irving who instigated the expansion of the United States into the West. Thomas Hart Benton was Astors Attorney, and aided Astor when he became the Senator in the expansion of his fur trade that wrested from the U.S. Factory system in an act of Privatization. Benton was a Senator for thirty years and worked himself into a froth trying to solve the Slave Problem with the entry of new States into the Union. Being related to many famous polticians, some of them Abolitionists, Benton was put under more pressure then any man elected to office. When Donald Trump became President, he abdicated the ongoing Slave Problem, by outlawing it. This goes against the Republican Platform estavlished by John Fremont, Benton’s son-in-law who was titled ‘The Pathfinder’ who Benton and Astor funded in order to secure the Oregon Territtory from the Brittish. The U.S. of A, worked bery hard for a compromise, that President Trump wants to under by making Canada the fifty-firt State.

After careful consideration, Stanford University has decided not to exercise its option to purchase Notre Dame de Namur University’s (NDNU) campus property in Belmont. The university arrived at this decision after evaluating many factors, some of which could not be anticipated when Stanford first entered into an option purchase agreement with NDNU almost four years ago.
Stanford has appreciated the excitement, care, and curiosity the community has shown to us as we listened and learned about the special qualities of the NDNU campus and Belmont. We have consistently heard that the community would like the property to be revitalized and continue to be used for academic and other community-serving purposes. Stanford’s vision for the campus has always been aligned with this feedback.

In addition, the landscape for research universities has changed considerably since Stanford entered into the option purchase agreement with NDNU. These changes are resulting in greater uncertainties and a different set of institutional and financial challenges for Stanford.

Lara Roozemond was my solace during my, and America’s Darkest Hour. She rode my recuse – against her will. I used her, day after day, to lay low the Bad Guys! A year ago I brought her to Sandford, where her bodyguard encouraged her to get back in the saddle. It had been too long since she took, that great tumble! To Lara and Cees, this hand across the water…..salutes you!

Spotting the framed photos on Commie Stuttmeister’s wall in the Old California Barrel Company, Victoria asked why he owned horses. Victor’s ancestors invested in the ranch Count Cipriani owned in Belmont and Palo Alto. He had driven a herd of cattle to this property the Rothschild bankers invested in. When the Count was made President of the Kingdom of Italy, all the hidden kingdoms in the world, shifted like the San Andreas Fault. The affects are still felt today. There are new lines drawn in the sand.
Victoria didn’t want to got to The Farm and ride. After her great fall, she was afraid she would get killed. Starfish was disgusted with her husband. There was a loud argument at the end of the old Belmont pier, that the killer for BAD – won! She began to recitee all the dangerous men – and women – that she dispatched.
The horses could smell blood on the beast with the narrow hips and tapered back, where from her wide Nordic shoulders swung these long arms that moved like the wild animal in that famous film, Victoria borrowed riding clothes, and saddled up a Stuttmeister horse. She chose the most spirited. When she came prancing out of th Red Barn, her horse reared up when it came onto the arena. Starfish gasped as her husband struggled to point the horse at the first jump. With a kick to it’s rib, the horse came charging in a cloud of dust. Victoria went for the tallest steeple – and she cleared it with room to spare! The Animal squealed with joy, causing the horses at a distance to sound an alarm!

European Council President António Costa said that European Union member states will not demand any mineral resources from Ukraine in return for providing assistance.
Costa said in an interview with Suspilne media outlet that over the past three years, the European Union has been a major donor to Ukraine. “This is being done both for Ukrainians and for European security.”
Regarding Ukraine’s agreement with the United States on rare earth metals, the European Council President emphasized that Ukraine is a sovereign state. He stressed that Ukraine “has the right to manage its territory and conduct negotiations at the international level.”
The topic of mineral resources has become contentious in Ukraine’s relations with the United States. President Donald Trump stated he wants compensation for American aid to Ukraine during the full-scale war against Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy indicated openness to American investments in mineral extraction. They discussed this idea in September 2024.
The university also said the landscape for research universities has changed considerably since Stanford entered into the option purchase agreement with NDNU.

In 2021, Stanford announced its plans to enter into an option-to-purchase agreement with Belmont’s Notre Dame de Namur University, and it had been partnering with the city on developing a special zoning district to allow for a range of uses, such as academic buildings and housing facilities.
Stanford was proposing about 50 to 200 housing units on the 46-acre site — for students as well as university employees — while maintaining the three historic structures on the property, including Ralston Hall Mansion. It planned to build on 700,000 square feet of the property and would be a 30-year agreement. The site currently has 24 buildings, with more than 320,000 square feet of office and classrooms.
The Catholic, nonprofit university based in Belmont decided to sell because it was confident that a sale to a compatible organization would lead to long-term sustainability.
NDNU operations have continued and the expectation was that it would be able to lease back space on campus for its operations, with both universities remaining independent.
The plan was for a host of community benefit contributions — largely, but not exclusively, financial — such as the restoration of Ralston Hall Mansion for public use, a million-dollar contribution toward TK-12 education programs, a shared-use agreement for the nearby Koret Field, as well as the commensurate development impact fees for each new facility.
Stanford in its statement said it would remain committed to supporting the Belmont community, and we will make contributions toward improving public K-12 education, renewing the Barrett Community Center and local transportation infrastructure. It also said it is working with NDNU and the city to support NDNU’s next steps with their campus property.
“We appreciate Stanford’s engagement throughout this process and their thoughtful approach to exploring a shared vision for the site,” Mayor Julia Mates said. “While we welcomed the opportunity to see this project move forward, we remain committed to working with NDNU, as the property owners, and Stanford to ensure a smooth transition and to explore future opportunities that align with the city’s long-term planning goals.”
Mates also emphasized NDNU’s importance to Belmont, and said the city will continue to support it however it can.
“They’ve been here longer than the city and are a continued asset to the city,” she said. “We are happy to have them.”
Beth Martin, president of NDNU, said she was disappointed the plans did not proceed but that officials were prepared for the possibility as the end of the purchase agreement timeline was nearing in June. The school, which previously contracted to online and graduate offerings, has been growing since 2021. Its enrollment has approximately doubled to 308, and could meet 400 for the fall.
Martin said the campus is too large for NDNU as it is now and they will continue to look for a location that is more appropriate in size and technological capability since many of its classes are online. The campus will immediately seek a new buyer who will honor its legacy and historical significance. Classes will continue on the Belmont campus next school year. She added they worked very well with Stanford.

S. Howard Young, one of the world’s wealthiest art dealers, died yesterday in his galleries in the Pierre Hotel after a brief illness. He was 94 years old on May 22.
Mr. Young was a close friend of the late President Dwight D. Eisenhower and was a great uncle of the actress Elizabeth Taylor. Her father, Francis Taylor, had been Mr. Young’s only partner in a 75‐year career. Mr. Taylor, who died in 1968, was Mr. Young’s nephew.
The art dealer was a resident of Miami Beach and had sum mer homes in Ridgefield, Conn., and Minocqua, Wis.
It was during a weekend visit with Mr. Young at Ridgefield in 1952 that General Eisenhower, then president of Columbia University, decided to enter the Presidential race. Also present were Bob Considine and Frank Farrell, the newspaper colum nists.

Mr. Considine advised the General that the Hearst news papers would support the Re publican nomination of Gen. Douglas MacArthur against Senator Robert A. Taft of Ohio. Mr. Farrell told the general that he thought the Scripps Howard newspapers’ editors might be willing to support him.
Soon afterward, Mr. Young arranged a reception here in the St. Regis Hotel for 200 guests. There the General ex changed views with the late Roy W. Howard, head of Scripps‐Howard. The organiza tion, in an unusual move, agreed to support the General before the convention.
Offered an Embassy
Mr. Young was with the gen eral on Election Night in No vember of 1952. When the voting trend became apparent, the general remarked, “Looks as though I’m going to be the next President.” Mr. Young re plied, “Yes, and it looks as though I have lost my best fishing and shooting partner.”
The general smiled and asked, “Where do you want to be an ambassador, Howard?”
Mr. Young shook his head and replied, “How about me being your ambassador to Boulder Junction [Colorado] or Minocqua or Woodruff in Wis consin?”
The art dealer’s house in Wisconsin is on a ridge over looking a lake. The General liked to swim there, but after his heart attack he was unable to handle the steep 140 ‐foot climb back to the house.

As a surprise for his friend, Mr. Young built a four‐passen ger funicular between the house and the diving board. Five years ago Mr. Young got into the funicular to descend to the lake. Partway down, the cable slipped and the car crashed, rocketing Mr. Young 24 feet into a tree. His only injury was a cut scalp.
Over the years the General gave three of his paintings to his friend, and last summer Mr. Young gave the paintings and the General’s letters to the Eisenhower Museum in Abilene, Kan.

Stephen Howard Young was born in Belle Center, Ohio, on May 22, 1878, the oldest son of Philip Young, a highway con struction supervisor, and the former Mary Funk.
At the age of 10, the young ster left home and started his career with a laundry and a newspaper route.
Although he had little formal education, he was an omnivo rous reader. It was not until just a few months ago that his eyes became oversensitive to light on a printed page. He ac quired an Oxonian command of English, a cosmopolite’s sense of humor and a reputation as a raconteur.

At 15, he became interested in chromolithography and sold prints in the Midwest. By the age of 18 he had amassed a fortune of $400,000. It was 1896, the year a panic of major proportions shook the nation, and the young man lost every thing in it.
He started over again, this time with oil paintings. He sought out good portrait artists, read obituary notices, obtained photographs of deceased mem beers of affluent families, had oil portraits painted and sold them to the families at $2,000 each.
One day a woman showed, him some catalogues of well known art works and asked him to try to buy some for her, offering a commission of $300 for each purchase. This began his career as an art dealer.
When he was 22 he met and married Mabel Rosemund of Springfield, Ill. Mrs. Young died in 1955. There were no children. During their early married life, they lived in St. Louis. There Mr. Young learned of a man who wanted to buy a Frederic Remington painting. Mr. Young then owned Reming ton’s “The Overland Stage” and took it to his prospect.
En route, he got into a poker game with three oilmen, Harry Sinclair, Frank Phillips and Bill Skelly. They became close friends and Mr. Young became a highly successful investor in oil.
Mr. Sinclair told Mr. Young that he and his business be longed in New York. He gave him a check to set up here, taking an I.O.U. in return. Mr. Young never cashed the check, but he took the advice and moved his galleries.
Mr. Young also bought Florida Power & Light stock after a visit to Florida in 1915, when he foresaw the Miami area’s growth as a resort and bought a home there.
One of his worst mistakes, Mr. Young once recalled, was buying a Van Gogh painting in Rotterdam in the early 1930’s for $5,000 and selling it soon afterward for $10,000. The same painting brought $850,000 at a recent Parke‐Bernet auction.
Tilted With Duveen
Mr. Young engaged in spec tacular art duels with Sir Joseph Duveen, his most serious com petitor. He had uncanny luck in guessing when Sir Joseph was obligated to buy a painting and often, without reason, would force the bid up.
In a 1928 auction Mr. Young stopped bidding on Gains. borough’s “The Harvest Wag on” at $350,000. Sir Joseph bought it for $360,000.

Perhaps Mr. Young’s biggest achievement in art was his dis covery of the lost El Greco en titled “Christ Healing the Blind.” It was attributed to Tin toretto when Mr. Young bought it at an auction. He had it authenticated at The Prado, in Madrid. The painting is now in the Charles Wrightsman col lection.
On one occasion he bought a painting of the Duchess‐Coun tess of Sutherland, supposed to have been a Romney, and sold it to Lawrence P. Fisher of Detroit, for $150,000. When it was learned that the real por trait was still held by the Suth erland family and that the painting he had bought was a copy, Mr. Young returned Mr. Fisher’s money and got his own back from the sellers.
Mr. Young was a horseman, a golfer, an archer and a skeet shot prize‐winner as well as a hunter and fisherman.
He was a founder of the Minocqua Country Club and a member, of the Turf & Field Clubs at the Hialeah, and Gulf Stream tracks. He also was one of the earlier members of the Indian Creek Club, and he belonged to the Surf Club and the Bath Club. In New York be was a member of the Metro politan Club and the Lotos Club.

Howard Young’s Love for the Lakeland area.
It wasn’t until the will of S. Howard Young was made public on Aug. 15, 1972, that residents of the Lakeland area began to understand how deeply this man loved the Northwoods of Wisconsin and the people who reside within its boundaries.
On that day in 1972 they learned that Howard Young had bequeathed approximately $20 Million dollars for a health center so that the area would have the finest facilities and continue to attract outstanding doctors of the caliber that had joined the staff of the first hospital–Lakeland Memorial Hospital.
The will further stated that the “net income is to be paid in perpetuity to the hospital to be used for its own general purposes and that $7 Million dollars be used only for the purpose of constructing, equipping, furnishing and opening a new main hospital.”
Indeed, Howard Young had a love affair with the Lakeland area that spanned some 65 years, and the impact of the love was reaffirmed on Saturday, June 18, 1977, with the dedication of the Howard Young Medical Center. It will continue to be reaffirmed, ad infinitum, through its operation.
Stephen Howard Young was born in Belle Center, Ohio, on May 22, 1878, the eldest of five children who would eventually comprise the family of Philip and Mary Funk Young. His father was a highway construction supervisor.
It seemed as if Howard Young was born with great ambition. His mother soon realized that his ambitions far surpassed anything that Belle Center had to offer, and so it was with her blessing that he left his home at age 10 to make his way in the world.
His business career began simply, delivering for both a laundry and a paper route. When he was 15 years of age he turned to chromolithography (the process of lithographing in colors), a relatively new innovation in 1893. His first operation was in Anderson, Ind., and as his business flourished he opened offices in Cincinnati and Lima, Ohio, plus Peoria, Ill.
By 1896, at the age of 18, Howard Young had amassed a fortune of $400,000. This was also the year of the panic and he lost it all.

By now he had decided his future lay in oil paintings. He contracted for the services of several prominent portrait artists in the area. Then, following an obituary notice, he would contact the family and sell them oil paintings from the snapshots they provided of the deceased. They sold at $2,000 each.
One of his clients then asked him to select and buy paintings for her home, paying a commission of $300 for each one. This moved Howard Young into a career as an art dealer.
In 1900, Young married Mabel Rosemund of Springfield, Ill., and moved to St. Louis where he established his headquarters. His wife preceded him in death in 1955. There were no children of the marriage.
His business continued to flourish. Then one day he learned of a man in Bartlesville, Okla., who was looking for a Remington to purchase.
Young had one and he was immediately off to Oklahoma. While there he played poker with Harry Sinclair, Frank Phillips and Bill Skelly, and a new chapter in his career opened–investments. It opened with investments in oil.
In St. Louis, Young became friendly with the Busch and Lambert families. He bought shares of Anheuser-Busch stock that he never sold. He was a wise investor and unloaded a great deal of stock just before the crash in 1929. His one regret was that he sold his IBM stock too soon, for although he made a fine profit, it was nothing compared to what it would have been if he had held it.
He was as wise in his art dealings as he was investing. His greatest achievement was his discovery of the “Lost El Greco”–“Christ Healing The Blind.” This painting now hangs in the Metropolitan Art Museum.
In his art dealings, Young had one regret. He bought a Van Gogh for $5,000, sold it for $10,000, and shortly before his death it sold for $850,000.
In 1907, Howard Young developed a nervous ailment. His doctors recommended a summer vacation in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and thus began his love affair with Lakeland area.
Howard Young was an art dealer for 75 years. His only partner was his nephew, Francis Taylor–Elizabeth Taylor’s father, who died in 1968.
He did have a multitude of friends and he considered Dwight D. Eisenhower one of his closest. He played an instrumental part in Eisenhower’s entering the 1952 presidential race. He arranged a reception for Eisenhowers with Scripps Howard newspaper executives and it was at this reception that Ike obtained their support. Without this, he probably never would have entered politics.
Howard Young revealed a little of his true feelings for the Lakeland area when, on election night, after learning of his victory, Eisenhower turned to him and asked him where he would like to be ambassador. Young’s reply–“in Minocqua, Woodruff and Boulder Junction.”
In later years, after Eisenhower had suffered his heart attack. Young built a special track down the hill from his home to the lake. Its car carried Eisenhower for his daily swims that he loved so well. Without it, Ike could not have negotiated the steep hill.
During their years of friendship, Eisenhower presented Howard Young with three of his signed paintings. These, along with their correspondence, were donated to the Eisenhower Museum in Abilene, Kansas.
Young was an avid sportsman. He loved golf and he was an excellent skeet shooter; but hunting and fishing were probably his favorite spots. He kept homes in Florida and Connecticut, but Minocqua was his favorite retreat, for here he could indulge in all his favorite sports.
Howard Young died at the age of 94 on June 23, 1972. He died among his favorite art treasures in his galleries in the Hotel Pierre in New York City. His remains lie in Detroit…but his heart and memories are alive in the Lakeland area.
His only survivor is a sister in Detroit.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 A.M. in the William E. Hamilton Fu neral Chapel in Detroit.
Minocqua has a little Presidential History. President Dwight Eisenhower would come here to visit his friend Howard Young. Ike loved to fish during his stays here. He attended a PowWow in Lac du Flambeau and even attended a Min-Aqua Bats ski show.

Howard Young and Mabel Rosemond had no children. Therefore, I splice and attache all the creative history to this Rose Line. Howard promoted the artist Augustus John, and was the best friend of Victor Cazalet, who also had no children. He was Liz’s godfather. I delare myself the Caretaker of their artistic history – and then some. Because Bryan Mclean had no children, I consider myself the caretaker of his family history. George Mclean was the godfather of Liz’s son.

Godfather to Elizabeth Taylor[edit]
Cazalet, who had a passion for fine art, became a close friend of American art gallery owners Francis Taylor and his wife Sara, parents of Elizabeth, after they had moved from the U.S. to London in 1936.[1] Cazalet let the Taylor family, who were also Christian Scientists, spend their weekends in a separate 16th century cottage on his estate in Kent.[1] He wanted them to think of England as their new home.[22]:13
He gave 4-year-old Elizabeth a horse named Betty as a gift, which she would ride bareback throughout the property.[1] The Taylors asked him to be her godfather, after which he became an important influence during her early life.[1] At one time while Elizabeth suffered the first of many near-fatal illnesses, Elizabeth begged her mother to “please call Victor and ask him to come and sit with me.” Cazalet then drove ninety miles through thick fog to be at her side.[24] When he arrived, recalled her mother, “Victor sat on the bed and held Elizabeth in his arms and talked to her about God,” and soon after the fever had broken.[22]:14
At a lunch with Churchill in April 1939, Cazalet learned that a war was coming, and was permitted by Churchill to inform others.[22]:24 Cazalet, concerned for the Taylor family’s safety, urged Francis to close his art gallery as soon as possible and return with his family to America. Because of the time needed to vacate the gallery, he suggested that Sara and his children should be sent back alone where Francis could later join them. They took his advice and eventually ended up in Los Angeles where he established a new gallery.[1]
As Cazalet was an acquaintance of screen actor DeWolf Hopper and his former wife, Hollywood columnist Hedda Hopper, he sent a letter of introduction on behalf of Elizabeth to Ms. Hopper, to help 7-year-old Elizabeth become involved in acting.[1][24] Hopper met with Elizabeth and Sara and offered to help. Months later, Cazalet wrote in his diary for 16 April 1941, “Imagine excitement of Taylors. Elizabeth has a contract for seven years with a big cinema group.”[22]:33

Britain’s defence ministry on Monday apologised after top secret documents assessing the movements of a Royal Navy warship in the Black Sea were found at a bus stop.

Amy Zegart is the Morris Arnold and Nona Jean Cox Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, where she directs the Robert and Marion Oster National Security Affairs Fellows program. She is also a senior fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute of International Studies (FSI), professor of political science (by courtesy) at Stanford University, and a contributing writer to The Atlantic. From 2013 to 2018, she served as co-director of the Freeman Spogli Institute’s Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) and founder and co-director of the Stanford Cyber Policy Program. She previously served as the chief academic officer of the Hoover Institution.
She specializes in U.S. intelligence, emerging technologies and national security, grand strategy, and global political risk management. The author of five books, Zegart’s award-winning research includes the leading academic study of intelligence failures before 9/11 — Spying Blind: The CIA, the FBI, and the Origins of 9/11 (Princeton 2007). She co-edited with Herbert Lin Bytes, Bombs, and Spies: The Strategic Dimensions of Offensive Cyber Operations (Brookings 2019). She and Condoleezza Rice co-authored Political Risk: How Businesses and Organizations Can Anticipate Global Insecurity (Twelve 2018) based on their popular Stanford MBA course. Zegart’s forthcoming book is Spies, Lies, and Algorithms: The History and Future of American Intelligence (Princeton 2022). Her research has also been published in International Security and other academic journals as well as Foreign Affairs, the New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal.
Zegart has been featured by the National Journal as one of the ten most influential experts in intelligence reform. She served on the Clinton administration’s National Security Council staff and as a foreign policy adviser to the Bush 2000 presidential campaign. She has also testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee; provided training to the US Marine Corps; and advised officials on intelligence, homeland security, and cybersecurity matters. Before her academic career, Zegart spent three years as a McKinsey & Company management consultant advising leading companies on strategy and organizational effectiveness. She came to Stanford from UCLA, where she was a professor of public policy in the Luskin School of Public Affairs.
She is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship, the American Political Science Association’s Leonard D. White Dissertation Award, the National Academy of Public Administration’s Brownlow Book Award, two UCLA teaching awards, and grants from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Hewlett Foundation, the Smith Richardson Foundation, and the National Science Foundation.
Zegart’s public service includes serving on the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board Task Force on Nuclear Nonproliferation, the FBI Intelligence Analysts Association National Advisory Board, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Counter‑Terrorism and Community Police Advisory Board, the National Academies of Science Panel to Improve Intelligence Analysis, and the Social Science Research Council Task Force on Securing Knowledge. He frequents Eugene, especially the Whiteaker neighborhood, and regularly shows up at activist events. He is a stalker, a harasser, and an obsessed delusional sicko. Detective Dan Mayland grew up in north central Wyoming on a ranch that hosted multiple family businesses including a bed and breakfast offering guided fishing trips, 4-wheeler trips, rock hunting, hiking expeditions, winter snowmobile rentals, and guided tours. Not surprisingly, Dan is a passionate outdoorsman and enjoy hunting, camping, boating, fishing and anything outdoors. His hobbies include photography, cooking, archery, mountain biking, reloading ammunition, shooting, and gunsmithing.
After graduating high school Dan attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a double bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He focused on criminal psychopathology, criminology, forensic psychopathology, and forensic psychology. While in college Dan worked at a local ski resort during the winter months and as an equipment operator for a local construction company in the summer months. After graduation, he took a position as the Director of Sales at the ski resort, overseeing ticket sales, retail, ski school, and food services.
In 2005 Dan moved to Gallatin County, sticking close to the mountains and outdoor recreation he loves. He started his law enforcement career in 2009, to make use of his degrees. He chose Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office after extensively researching many departments throughout Montana and discovering that GCSO was a coveted office because they hired and staffed great people with great equipment in a beautiful fast-growing area. He tested for the Detective division in spring 2014 and was successfully promoted to the Property Crimes position. In the fall of 2014, the Crimes against Women and Children position opened and he successfully tested for that position; he took over that position in May of 2015.
Since joining the Sheriff’s Office Dan has been trained in Crisis Intervention Training, FBI Hostage Negotiations, Basic Police Mountain Bike School, Interview and Interrogation Techniques, Death Investigations School, Forensic Experimental Trauma Interview School, Bloodstain Pattern Analysis School, and Missing and Endangered Children Response and Investigation Training, among others. He is currently a certified hostage negotiator for the Gallatin County Sheriff/Bozeman Police Special Response Team, a certified MPAT Proctor and physical fitness coach for the Sheriff’s Office, and bike patrol deputy.

Because they are instant ongoing poles – that represent SWING VOTES!
What Victoria began to see, is she has discovered The Wizard is really on to something. In America, there is a Mass Marketing Pole, where social medias is used TO TEST THE WATERS. For instance, should another James Bond movie be made, and if so – how do raise James – from the dead? This is A WAGER to test the hands of the other players. The goal is SEE how many millions of people will pay good money to buy a ticket at the theatre – so the producers leave the table with a

Swing Purchasers are like Swing Voters. The people who participate believe they are exercising Free Will, Free Rights, and Free Luck – from God! The question many have, was he employing SUB-ROSA so he could get real close to people, and – DO REAL DAMAGE! Some elected Republicans are refusing to work with him – lest he INFECT THEIR GAME OF LUCK! Was Cecil….
THE GREAT AMERICAN BLUFFER?
There is such a thing as a FAKE TELL. Victoria now hit upon the idea that Cecil – or whatever his name is – is a product of MODERN UMBRAGE! Is he like Bartholomew of the Thousand Hats, he developing many layers of – BLUFF – in order to hide from harm – his real self?. One of the newscasters suggested Cecil will not resign because he needs the money. It looks like he is acquiring a following. How many thousands of Republican’ Voter’s identify with Cecil, and are saying so on social media by contributing to his campaign? Will there be a – ALL IN – and END GAME?
Victoria’s brain was overflowing with possibilities as she swabbed her wife’s hands that were injured from swinging in trees while high on shrooms and edibles. Being part Russian, she overdid everything. Now she swabbed her wounded knees. She had taken a great fall, witnessed by her Wit Clan that had put glow-sticks all over the forest. In a panic they gathered a bunch of them together and huddled in terror, as Starfish was doing a great rendition of the Predetor.
As to Starfishes’ great confession, that she killed fifty-eight people, there was dmage control to be done that consisted of making real insistent witnesses a member of BAD, and giving them a secret number to call – incase there is an EMERGENCY!

Victoria picked up the Walther PPQ that Starfish cleverly concealed in her loincloth. She wished her job was so easy, where she could just fire off endless rounds at THE BAD GUY. She swore she would never touch a gun1 Suddenly….Starfish opened her eyes, and saw her Walther pointed at her forehead. The first thing that came to her mind, was, her husband had chosen to put her down for being the wildest thing on two legs. She had terrorized innocent peaceful human beings. Starfishes’ eyes got – real big! Victoria – SHREIKED! Inadvertently Victoria had PIQUED her wife’s sense of survival. Being a Civil War Buff, she looked for an incident that would cause a Second Civil War. The dismissal of Rep. Adam Schiff, went into her Civilly Piqued Pile.
Victoria screamed when Starfish put her wrist in a Bone Breaker grip! Then, it came to her. She had a epiphany. One of her favorite movies was Forbidden Planet. She had wondered if she had conjured Starfish up, and she was her….Monster of the Id. Victoria saw that the Mass Consumer Media Mind, mixed with Democratic Voter Poles, had created a National Monster of the Id – that was spreading all over the world. It could not help but DEGRADE and HUMILIATE US ALL.
Starfish put her nose between Victoria’s eyes.

Putin’ s men took Starfish and Victoria to a special prison, where a hologram of the Russian leader introduced our BAD agents to foreign prisoners. One was a giant of a woman that played basketball. Miriam told this forlorn woman that she was an athlete, an amazing hurdler – who has never competed!
“We ran in a grove of trees felled in a windstorm. Ivan competed at Hayward field in Eugene Oregon.”
One of the men behind the mirror got on Google and brought up Victoria Thachuk, a Ukrainian hurdler that will compete at Hayward field, while Russia is banned. Putin’s hologram was fed this information, and his image pointed to a screen. When a video of Viktoriya in a race was played, both our spies gasped.
“They are like sisters – twins! “
“I want a pair of sunglasses – just like that! I must have! I can beat her! She is so beautiful! I must have her! She is my double!”
“The Men Behind The Mirror – and Putin’s Hologram-Double – were shocked. All eyes fell on ‘Her Original Victoria’. to see her reaction. Having concluded a week earlier that Starfish was a Toxic Narcissist, she took it on the chin, with much aplomb. Smiling. our agent said;
“I must have her too. She reminds me of someone!”
Starfish gave her wife the most heart melting smile, and she came and put her arm around her waist. Putin’s hologram already confronted the happy couple with the videos taken in their hotel room.

“Don’t worry. Most of our spies are LGBTQ people. It comes with the territory. We can not be good family folks for the reason we travel allot, and, we have to keep many secrets from our Loved One. We have watched you two closely to see how you lie to one another. So far, one of you told a little white lie, while the other -TOLD A GIANT LIE!
Victoria had to do allot of quick assessing. She was grateful for the Wizard’s Crazy Test, that asks if she and Miriam peed on the stuffed Unicorn, and, wiped their ass on Babe Ruth’s baseball? She understood life was full of Guilt and Shame hurdles. She was not going to take her husband’s inventory – just because she was prompted to. Coming down on the right side of, things, was the international game. Everything else – was pretty obvious. The rules were very pedestrian. Analyzing The Guilt Trip people were on – was the real Job. The Bible has proven this is how – we really are!
“I can take her!”
Team Putin worked the deal where Starfish was the only entry from an Island off Siberia in the Pacific. On the plane for Oregon, Starfish blurted out.
“I’m going to smoke allot of pot at the Country Fair. Will you buy me a new set of drums?”
Victoria was studying the Russian community in Eugene. Her wife wondered if this was the community her parents established on Mount Shasta.
“I want to take some shrooms. I want to try Psilocybin!”
Starfishes wish list took up the whole flight. Viktoriya Tkachuk had activated her mates parallel universe, jag. The movie PI came up mid-Atlantic. Bored with the recitation of her wish-list for the other life, Victoria called her bluff. She was bored.

The plane was full of spies and mikes that listened, in, to what sounded like a Christian talking in tongues.
“I have no way of telling if you are….doing a great and fantastic job! Stop, I want to nap!”
When they went to Hayward Field, our heroes looked down on the practice field. Looking up, our twins beheld each other for the first time.

Relay 4 to 400 m is when before the start you worry not only for yourself, but also for the team! And that’s adding strength! 
It’s very unfortunate to stay in ninth place, but for today this is our result and we gave our best at this world championship! And every participant didn’t take an easy path to this competition!
And when during the presentation of Ukraine today the whole stadium us loudly supported… this moment gave me goosebumps…
We will be sure to come back stronger and very soon we will go out on the tracks already with new experience and new motivation!

The White House has declined to rule out accepting a Russian proposal to question on US soil American people – including the former ambassador to Moscow Michael McFaul – sought by the Kremlin for “illegal activities”.
The proposal arose at Monday’s summit between the US president Donald Trump and the Russian president Vladimir Putin, and any decision by Washington to assist with an adversary’s prosecution of former government employees overseas would be a stunning shift in US policy, especially as it could violate the international legal principle of diplomatic immunity.
“The president is going to meet with his team and we’ll let you know when we have an announcement on that,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told a news briefing. Sanders added that Trump “said it was an interesting idea … He wants to work with his team and determine if there is any validity that would be helpful to the process”.
Sanders’s comments prompted outrage in the US, including from McFaul, a vocal Putin critic.
“When Trump says Russia is no longer targeting America, that’s not how this American feels,” McFaul wrote on Twitter.
“Putin is most certainly targeting and intimidating me. And I’m an American.”

Russian request for an interrogation[edit]
On July 17, 2018, the Prosecutor General of Russia announced that it was seeking to question McFaul, amongst other Americans, in relation to its investigation of allegations made against Bill Browder.[26][27] This followed a request Vladimir Putin made to President Donald Trump during the summit in Helsinki. In a White House news conference two days later, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump described Putin’s suggestion as an “interesting idea” and Trump “wants to work with his team and determine if there is any validity that would be helpful to the process”.[28][29]

McFaul stepped down in February after two tough years as ambassador to return to his job as a top political science professor at Stanford University. He gave a public talk Thursday at Montana State University on the Ukraine-Russia conflict and what it means for the United States.

Michael Anthony McFaul (born October 1, 1963)[1] is an American academic and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Russia from 2012 to 2014. McFaul is currently the Ken Olivier and Angela Nomellini Professor in International Studies in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University, where he is the Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. He is also a Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution.[2][3][4][5] He is also a contributing columnist at The Washington Post.[6] Prior to his nomination to the ambassadorial position, McFaul worked for the U.S. National Security Council as Special Assistant to the President and senior director of Russian and Eurasian affairs.[7] In that capacity, he was the architect of U.S. President Barack Obama‘s Russian reset policy.
Early life and education[edit]
Born in Glasgow, Montana, McFaul was raised in Butte and Bozeman, where his father worked as a musician and music teacher.[8] While attending Bozeman High School, McFaul participated in policy debate; his partner was current U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R) of Montana.
While an undergraduate at Stanford University he spent time in the Soviet Union, first in the summer of 1983 studying Russian at the Leningrad State University (now Saint Petersburg State University), and then a semester in 1985 at Pushkin Institute in Moscow.[8] He earned a B.A. in international relations and Slavic languages and an M.A. in Slavic and East European Studies from Stanford in 1986. As a Rhodes Scholar, he earned a DPhil in international relations from St John’s College, Oxford, in 1991.[7] He wrote his dissertation on U.S. and Soviet intervention in revolutionary movements in southern Africa.[8]
McFaul received an honorary doctorate from Montana State University during the university’s fall commencement in 2015.[9][10]
Career[edit]
In 1994, McFaul and one-time close friend and colleague Sergey Markov helped found the Moscow Carnegie Center.[8]
McFaul’s past engagement with Russian political figures included a denunciation of him in 1994 by Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party and a member of the State Duma (the Russian parliament),[11] and a subsequent shooting incident in which a shot was fired into McFaul’s office window in Moscow.[11] Two years later, Alexander Korzhakov, a confidante of Russian President Boris Yeltsin, invited McFaul to the Kremlin during the 1996 Russian presidential election, because of McFaul’s research on electoral politics.[11]

In his capacity as a professor of political science at Stanford University, McFaul was the director of the university’s Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law.[7] A Hoover Institution Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow, McFaul is a Democrat who was the architect of U.S. President Barack Obama‘s policy on Russia.[12]

In 2009, McFaul joined the Barack Obama administration as a senior adviser in Washington, D.C., where he was the architect of the so-called “Russian reset” policy.
In March 2011, McFaul attended, in his official White House capacity, the meeting between Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin, which Biden characterized in his memoir as “argumentative.”[13] The two met again in a 2021 summit.[14]

In November 2011, Obama nominated McFaul to be the 7th post-Soviet United States Ambassador to the Russian Federation. On December 17, 2011, the United States Senate confirmed McFaul by unanimous consent.[15] McFaul became the first non-career diplomat to be the U.S. ambassador to Russia.[12] He arrived in Russia just as huge protests were erupting over Vladimir Putin‘s resumption of the presidency. As ambassador he was accused of “fomenting revolution” by the Russian state media, meeting with Russian pro-democracy activists and commenting frequently on Twitter in English and Russian.[16] In his Washington Post article though he argued that these meetings were in line with Obama’s policy.[17]
In a 2012 interview for the news portal Slon.ru, McFaul described himself as “specialist on democracy, anti-dictator movements, revolutions”.[18]
On January 17, 2012, soon after McFaul was appointed the new United States Ambassador to Russia and arrived in Moscow to assume his post, opposition politicians and civil activists visited the Embassy of the United States in Moscow. At the entrance to the embassy, they were encountered by pro-Kremlin activists. The visitors to McFaul included Yevgeniya Chirikova (environment activist), Boris Nemtsov (leader of the People’s Freedom Party at the time; assassinated in 2015), Lev Ponomarev (human rights activist), Sergey Mitrokhin (leader of Yabloko party), Oksana Dmitriyeva (deputy head of A Just Russia), Lilia Shibanova (head of the GOLOS Association elections monitor group). Leonid Kalashnikov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation also attended.[19]
Reaction to the visit was mixed: then president Dmitry Medvedev, in his public comments at Moscow State University, largely exonerated McFaul by saying that meeting with opposition figures was a routine occurrence, although he warned the new U.S. ambassador that he was on Russian soil and should respect Russian political sensibilities.[20] The incident sparked a highly negative reaction in the state-controlled Russian media, which accused him of conspiring with the opposition, but was appreciated by activists and social media users.[16]
McFaul announced his resignation as ambassador to Russia on February 4, 2014, effective after the Sochi Olympics.[21] John F. Tefft was confirmed as the next ambassador to Russia.[22]
Return to academia (2014-present)[edit]

McFaul returned to Stanford as a professor of political science. He also became a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. He continued to be involved in geopolitics.[23] In October 2014, he stated that he believed the Russians continued to bug his and his wife’s cell phones in the United States.[24] In 2014 he was placed on the Kremlin’s sanction list of people who are not allowed to enter Russia.[16][25]

2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine[edit]
In 2022, following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, McFaul and Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak headed an expert group called the Yermak-McFaul Expert Group on Russian Sanctions, which developed an individual sanctions roadmap with plans to tighten sanctions against Russia.[32]
McFaul debated the Russian invasion with John Mearsheimer in May 2022. McFaul has taken a position on the Russian invasion of Ukraine identifying Putin as a culprit in conducting the invasion of Ukraine against the position of Mearsheimer that Putin is pursuing a realist geopolitical plan to secure Russian national interests in the presence of perceived threats from an expanding NATO.[33]

Political positions[edit]
In 2003 McFaul supported regime change in Iraq.[34]
After the 2016 presidential election, he became a regular commentator on MSNBC and social media, and was frequently critical of the policies and actions of President Donald Trump with regard to Russia.[16]
McFaul supported the Iran nuclear deal.[35]
In July 2019, McFaul wrote that Communist Party of China‘s officials “champion the advantages of their system — an ability to undertake massive infrastructure projects, the capacity to manage income inequalities and a commitment to harmony in government and society. In contrast, polarized U.S. politics in the Trump era seem to impede any major initiative, be it infrastructure development or addressing income inequality.”[36]
