Alley Valkyrie: “Yes, I talked to Belle.”

Right after I filmed Belle Burch at Ken Kesey Square, a anonymous women gave the homeless $400,000 dollars. Nathan “Red” Showers in the video about this gift. Red and Belle have a chat in my video. Mary Broadhusrt is a attorney and member of OCCUPY. She has been involved in SLEEPS that Ambrose Holtham Keatley is spokesperson for. His father, Anand,  supported Whoville, and Volunteers for OCCUPY Medical that is mentioned in the Donor article.

Belle approached me as a prospective donor to SLEEPS, after she may have got a pledge from the woman who conceals her face when she sees my camera pointed at her. Why is she hiding her face. No one else is doing this. This is not Belle’s first rodeo. No shrinking violet is she. She even sticks her tongue out at me.

“anonymous benefactor took up the issue”

“Whoville camper and organizer Nathan “Red” Showers says the Whoville campers are like a family and many of them relied on the emotional support, on-site warming center and food donations available at the camp.

“It was all donations from churches and organizations that support us. They paid for tons of propane that we went through,” Showers says. “It was beautiful how many people were just out there, ready and willing. We need another chance.”

Like a FAMILY. Hmmm! Red does not mention donations from individuals, lone wolves. Did anyone ask for a receipt for tax purposes? I mean, surely Mary Broadhurst has set up a non-profit status for SLEEPS, and gave everyone lessons on how to be legal and kosher with the IRS.

The post that Krysta Albert found very disturbing was the one I sent to Anand Holtham Keathley asking about contributions. You can detect there is going to be competition as to what groups gets the lion’s share. This secret donor is going to check the media to see her name NOT mentioned. If she comes across my blog, she might suggest everyone but SLEEPS – get some!

How many members of SLEEPS held an emergency meeting, and decided to bring in their big gunslinger, Alley Valkryie. Surely Ananad is interested in getting more public exposure. Is this the reason he got chummy with Krysta Albert, and why she did not want anyone to get chummy with me, he knowing I have been an advocate for the homeless? Do you think Belle and Krysta have met? Note how the dude in this video adds that all small donations are accounted for? Did any other Suckers see what I saw, and they confronted the Predators, and, Alley is in their face threatening to tell their wives prince charming tried to pay a homeless woman for sex? Big Red is lurking about, acting like a…………?

“Why your son and his anarchist gang broke away from OCCUPY raises questions. What was the nature of the falling out. I hope Festival of Eugene has a reputable firm handling donations. As a board member – denied access to the Festival of Eugene Facebook page – I will go to interested agencies to make sure my name is not dragged into the mud. I have a reputation to protect”.

I find it interesting that Belle, Alley, Ambrose, Anand, and Mary find my posts very disturbing, but, all the homeless psychos on the streets are innocent little lambs who can do no wrong. These Savors poo-pooh the real fear normal people have of them – for good reason!  It appears there was a conspiracy to deprive me of my Civil Rights. Member so SLEEPS would not want me to testify against them a a City Hall meeting, a forum they use to attract donors. People give Alley money for being a ballsy-bitch!

Alley Valkyrie; ” I will also say that going downtown would be a mistake, as EPD is quite aware of who and what you are, and they have nine uniformed officers downtown. But then again, you said you were going to City Council and you didn’t have the balls to do that, and…See More

Alley Valkyrie: And if you do go downtown, you will have to deal with me personally, by the way.”

I talked to my first girlfriend who recently saw the video of Belle. She is going to write down what she told me, being, she never saw a person, or an image of someone that reminded her of herself, as Belle Burch. Marilyn even noticed the mold on her neck. This is like dejavu, and the Moulin Rouge, she added.

When Ientered Ken Kesey Square I turned on my camera to record the event, because after finding my chronically homeless friend dead in his new apartment Hud-VASH just got him, I had been avoiding the homeless because my heart was still broken like so many who loved Hollis William’s. When I saw Belle, it was love at first sight.

I tried to establish a foundation where  deceased Veteran pay for the funeral of the next fallen warrior. I have a right to do volunteer work in my community, and serve the homeless am I so compelled.  To be harassed and denied this right by people who say they love the homeless, is suspect.

I am now seeking a second and third opinion on this matter. Mary Broadhurst, and Anand Holtham Keathley know I do not fit the profile of psychopath and predator. Are they afraid of Alley Valkyrie who is doing damage control – and knows what has been going on behind the scenes.? This is why it is extremely important you do things on the up and up.

Eugene Donor Commits $400,000 For New Shelter Site

Article | April 17, 2014 – 1:00am | By Adrian Black

As Eugene city leaders floundered last week in relocating the former residents of the Whoville homeless camp, an anonymous benefactor took up the issue, offering a $400,000 donation to establish a sanctuary on private property.

The pledge came as a direct response to, among general grievances, the unyielding position of City Manager Jon Ruiz and others willing to leave the destitute in limbo. “I wanted to step up,” the donor tells EW, “because I saw the city making an attempt to push these people out. They’re citizens, not strangers.”

A Eugene native with capital to spare from the success of a local family business, the donor says the wealth was a matter of pure chance, adding that a privileged position in society obligates one to prevent a human rights catastrophe when no one else will.

For the donation to be seen through, the money has to be channeled properly through the fiscal sponsorship of a nonprofit organization. This would be accomplished through an existing entity with 501(c)(3) status, such as Opportunity Village Eugene or Community Alliance of Lane County. An alternative could be for SLEEPS (Safe Legally Entitled Emergency Places to Sleep) or the Nightingale Public Advocacy Collective to attain such status — the latter is already pending.

It’s now up to Mary Broadhurst, an attorney and advocate for the unhoused, and others representing the advocacy group Homeless Health Sanctuary, to coordinate sponsorship and fulfill the multiple stipulations attached to this unforeseen act of philanthropy.

“We’re looking to buy private property — a single site for something that goes beyond a 30-person rest stop,” Broadhurst says. “Initially, it would be tents on platforms, but it would transition into micro-housing.”

Semi-permanent occupants would be expected to share the space with those seeking single use overnight stays. The site would also include a health stop, where twice a week residents and passers-through could be evaluated, presumably by Occupy Medical or like volunteers. An information station would be developed to point the weary toward free meals and other community resources. The donor put a specific focus on the site needing to be self-sustaining beyond land purchase and startup costs.

The donor remains anonymous to keep the focus on the issue not the donor, and to avoid criticism from a business community where some might shame the donation: “Developers don’t want the parents of university students to see all these homeless people. It decreases the property value. They have a lot to gain from sweeping them under the rug.”

“Facebook message from Alley Valkerie

“I’m going to make this very simple for you. I don’t know if you know who I am, but I sure as hell know who you are, and when you fuck with my friends, you fuck with me. Stop writing about Belle or I am going to make your life very difficult. I mean it. If I see one more word about her on your blog, your FB, or anywhere else, I will make sure that you experience all the fear and discomfort that she is experiencing right now. And no, this isn’t a physical threat, so don’t try to play victim. Frankly, I encourage you to contact EPD, as they already know all about you. I will not do anything illegal, but mark my word you will regret it if you write one more word about her. I will make sure that the entire community knows exactly how much of a sick fuck you are. Your picture, your name, and “samples” of your writing will be posted on every bulletin board in town. There will not be a single person in the Eugene/Springfield area who won’t know that you’re a sick stalker who won’t leave a stalker who won’t leave a young girl alone. Cut it out. Now. This is your first, last, and only warning.”

Alley Valkerie on facebook message.

“Please, go ahead and blog my threat.
You have no fucking idea what you’re getting yourself into
You also have no idea how many people are already on to you, and how many people have my back. We also have six other mutual friends who are going to learn about your behavior ASAP
And just so you know as well: if you write anything about me that could be construed as defamatory, you will be hearing from my lawyers ASAP.”

Valkyrie questions the legality of shutting down the public property, but Mia Cariaga of the Eugene city manager’s office writes in an email that the property “is not open for public use of any kind.”

Advocate Mary Broadhurst says that contrary to the perception she’s heard from City Manager Jon Ruiz, Eugene community members are very supportive of the camp, which has allowed many of the chronically unhoused, some with substance abuse and mental health issues, to have shelter and help one another. Ruiz is “rubbing shoulders with the country club set,” Broadhurst says, who are the ones who want the unhoused out of sight.

Sue Sierralupe of Occupy Medical, which also opposes closing the camp, says, “Whoville exists because people support it. The bathrooms, the handwashing station, the food, the tents, the blankets, the medical supplies all exist because our citizens support it.”

Occupy Medical says that “eviction of Whoville will only increase the risk of exposure and transmission of illnesses that have been otherwise successfully prevented or treated with our partnership,” and the free medical care group says that it has treated everything from the flu, including H1N1, to skin conditions.

Broadhurst and Valkyrie say they are frustrated with media reports, based on the city’s press release, that indicate there is somewhere for Whovillians to go. The city cites expanded car camping, Opportunity Village and a rest-stop pilot program, but Broadhurst says while the community has made efforts to house those in need there are not enough beds for even a third of the area’s homeless. She says contrary to the idea that providing housing for the homeless will attract more homeless, “94 percent of the unhoused are local folks.”

  1. Anand Holtham-Keathley says

January 20, 2014 at 3:56 pm

Here is one attempt to help our houseless citizens. It comes from Utah, a Republican state. Here is their homepage. http://www.theroadhome.org/ They are part of the Housing First movement. Here is their page on Rapid Rehousing. http://www.theroadhome.org/services/housing/rapid-rehousing/ They may be something in this model which could apply here. Looking at it from a medical perspective, being houseless increases the risk to many disorders including malnutrition, poor wound healing, sleep deprivation, poor diabetes management and its attendant cardiovascular problems, hypothermia and PTSD. To prevent these and many other disorders multiple treatments may be required but the first and foremost is a prescription for housing. Other resources may be needed depending on the individual, but all require housing as a primary resource to add the stability necessary for any other improvements.

It is sadly ironic that some of those most vulnerable in our society will have what little they have taken away around Martin Luther King Jr. day. At the end of his life MLK was involved in the Poor People’s Campaign to address issues of economic justice. The city says they are just asking those at Whoville to move, but many of those involved say there are far fewer spaces than are needed. It is inhumane to make people move who have no good alternative. As a nursing student we are taught that “Homeless patients have even fewer resources than the poor. They are often jobless and do not have the advantage of shelter and must continually cope with finding a place to sleep at night and finding food. Chronic health problems tend to worsen because of poor nutrition and the inability to store nutritional foods. In addition, the homeless population is usually walking the streets and neighborhoods to seek shelter, and they lack a balance of rest and activity. There is a startling increase in adolescent homelessness. The homeless adolescent is usually without a nuclear family and has greater health care risks. Homelessness is a major public health issue. The fastest growing section of the homeless population is families with children. This includes complete nuclear families and single-parent families. It is expected that 3.5 million people are homeless and 1.35 million are families with children. Poverty, mental and physical illness, and lack of affordable housing are primary causes of homelessness (National Coalition for the Homeless, 2010). Homelessness severely affects the functioning, health, and well-being of the family and its members. Children of homeless families are often in fair or poor health and have higher rates of asthma, ear infections, stomach problems, and mental illness.” Until there is a better situation these houseless citizens should be allow to stay on public land. I note that the old City Hall is empty. Use that to provide shelter from the cold. It is painful to consider but it is absolutely true that you could end up houseless in this society. There, but for the grace of god go us all. I know because I was houseless for years. Now I own a house, a business and am in my last year of the of the RN nursing program. You do not know the suffering these people have been through, why they are where they are and you certainly do not know what they need if you think you can just close Whoville with no serious implications. Rather than closing Whoville we should be supporting that community while we find empty buildings to use, like the old City Hall, and others. Long term we need to provide the resources to get people in a stable situation. Many of these people have untreated PTSD from war, domestic abuse, childhood abuse or being houseless too long. I know. I’ve been there. There is a new direction called Housing First which helps houseless people get housing immediately while providing resources these citizens need so they can stabilize their lives. The Utah version with web links, I listed above. I encourage you all to consider they long term value to treating everyone as the family they really are. Peace.

EUGENE, Ore. — In spite of numerous challenges, the Festival of Eugene is officially on for a weekend of entertainment at Skinner Butte Park.

“It’s been a fantastic rollercoaster, with highs and lows and we hope to bring all those highs to all those people that come here,” said Anand Holtham-Keathley, a community liaison for the festival.

The event was scheduled for 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
