Some Ukrainians have been adding ‘fragmentation sleeves’ to RPG warheads to improve the shrapnel effect, but these increase the weight and are of questionable value. Small agile targets are a challenge.
Soldiers on both sides are aware of this limitation, and FPV operators slow down on the final approach to an enemy on foot. This leads to black comedy videos where the FPV chases the target around obstacles like destroyed vehicles before catching them — or where the target dodges the FPV at the last second and walks casually away.

This week Ukraine’s United24 announced on Twitter/X that multiple types of military ground robot were going into mass production. The organization, set up by the government to raise funds to help Ukraine, said that after a long selection procedure it would be purchasing hundreds of specialized robots for roles including combat, logistics, minelaying and mine clearance. Such robots have previously only been seen on a small scale and this may signal a major shift.

Warships from China, Russia and Iran have held live-fire exercises in a key Middle Eastern waterway this week as the three partners put on a show of force in the volatile region, according to reports in state-run media.
The drills near the Gulf of Oman, involving more than 20 ships from the three countries, are “aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation and safeguarding regional peace and stability,” a statement from the Chinese Defense Ministry said, echoing similar language from Iran and Russia.

Sweden will join the initiative of the Czech Republic to purchase ammunition for Ukraine from third countries, allocating EUR 30 million to this end.
That’s according to a statement released by the Embassy of Sweden in the Czech Republic, Ukrinform reports.
“Sweden is joining the Czech initiative to supply Ukraine with much needed artillery ammunition with 30 million € (approx 755 million CZK),” reads the Embassy’s Facebook posting.

James Bond movies made it clear who are the good guys, and who are the bad guys. Trump, Putin, and Netanyahu are seen as The Good Guys who champion the Jewish God&Son – who used to be the champions of the poor hungry aliens. Now Jesus and God – love billionaires!? Our real President just spoke and is dismayed at how the Republicans refuse to condemn Russia.
This morning I watched Traitor Trump hold up golden sneakers, and Orthodox Rabbis hold up a sign saying if is SAFE for Christian to COME BACK to the Holy Land again (after being spit on) because The Tourist Industry – dried up! Heck with Biden’s money. Billions of dollars are – gone with the wind of war!

Donald Trump was booed during a surprise appearance to unveil a new line of $399 trainers on Saturday – a day after he was fined $355 million for fraud.
The crowd at the Sneaker Con in Philadelphia jeered the former president as he launched his “Never Surrender high-tops”, using the platform as another campaign stop between court and primary elections.
Holding his golden trainers, Mr Trump said “wow, there’s a lot of emotion” as he responded to the crowd, some of whom were also cheering.
The trainers, with an American flag detail on the back, are being sold for $399 on a new website that also sells other Trump-branded shoes and “Victory47” cologne and perfume for $99 a bottle.
A standard style trainer is also offered in either “T-Red” or “POTUS” white, both with a golden “45”, representing Mr Trump’s time as the 45th president, on the side. Theses shoes sell for $199.

About ten days ago Facebook closed my account claiming I broke the rules. I protested, was put through a test, and got my account back. I believe someone on Christine Drazen’s Facebook thought I was selling tennis shoes, and said she made money. I responded saying she made no money from me.
Nike Swoosh had asked folks to submit ideas – for free – and if they like them, they may make you a paid partner. I had looked at the millions of dollars the three Oregon candidates had spent (to no avail in two cases) and wondered if THE HOMELESS could get a share, a percentage of the campaign money.. I knew nothing about the Sneaker Craze that reminds me of the movie Big Eyes – and my sister’s art success. That a REAL candidate is BANNED on Facebook for being A BOT – IS BIG NEWS! If Drazen had won – how much unseen power would Phil Knight have – for his New Stable of Politicians? Consider the story of Cinderella. Consider The Gideon Computer. Was I – framed! Drazen followers did not like my posts – after I endorsed Tina Kotek.

BAD Tennis Shoes

Christie’s will hold an online sale of sneakers and sports memorabilia worn and signed by some of the greatest icons in sports history next week.
Called “The Greats,” the auction will include collectibles from legendary sports icons like Serena Williams, Kobe Bryant, Henrik Lundqvist and Michael Jordan. Christie’s said that the auction also features the work of designers such as Virgil Abloh and Tinker Hatfield, as well as streetwear brands like Supreme and Louis Vuitton. The sale opens for bidding on November 29 and closes on December 6.
For a couple of years I have been looking at making my novel ‘The Royal Janitor’ into a serial, and have Starfish and Victoria get involved in real live news events. I may no longer have a choice.
I stopped composing the chapter ‘Jack Frosty’s Day’ to watch college football. I worked on it as I watched T.V. I already had Jack holding a tennis shoe swap-meet and cool clothes alterations done at The Hanger. What made me laugh in bed is the new Oregon trend of making Mellow Yellow butter popcorn, that is grown and churned by local farmers. It is rumored – this Special Pop gets you high! This is based upon the incident where Bill Graham burned banana peels at the Fillmore, and blew the smoke into the crowd with large fans.
Jack Frost is Jack Smith who is looking to put Mr. Hustler Showbusiness in prison. Trump hosted a Holocaust Denier on Thanksgiving. You can’t make this up. Ye is a Clothes and shoe Hustler. Christies auctioned off tennis shoes. The Oregon Ducks – got destroyed!
At six in the morning Mellow Yellow Popcorn trucks roll out of the old blimp hanger, to take their positions. The city of Portland, is down – feeling blue! They need a morning fix, and uplift. I see Tina Alimo doing – The High News and Tennis Shoe Market Report.
I’ve understood for a long time – Fashion is everything! To render my Bond characters, as fashion plates – is a stroke of Genius! Who cares about their sexual orientation. That Phil Knight ‘The King of Lane County’ makes millions on his tennis shoes and fashion fixation – FITS!
I am going to design my own tennis shoes BAD and FITS! I am the new King of Literary Oregon. Ken is dead! Long live the king!

Chapter: Colonel Christling of The CCAF
Victoria Rosemond Bond refused to return to BAD headquarters on the Isle of Wight. She loved her home in Eugene, and was experiencing total clarity, now that “The Nutcase” was gone. Bond winced every time The Wizard called her wife that. But, it was true. There was no escaping the truth. She had not been spotted for nearly a year. They almost caught her at the Princess Di Monument, but she sprinted into the woods. The children – cheered! The news in America and Britain called her Shena of the Jungle. A doll was made and was a hot seller. Swift wrote a hit song. that made a connection to her last name and how fast Starfish ran.
With her morning cup of Java beside her, V turned on her three giant televisions, and began to map the sightings of the renegade air force that called itself The Cosmic Crusader Airforce. They were made up of Americans, Russians, and Israelis who were bonded by two passages of the Old Testament, and two passages in the New. These messages from God, had yet to be identified. Those in the know, deciphered the clues. If Starfish had not gone AWOL, then BAD and M15 – would know.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. V put her coffee cup down, and went the door, irritated with her new bodyguard who lived in the converted gardening shack. She had given orders to Thomas to not let anyone near the house. Who could it be…..The Jehovah’s Witnesses. Opening the door, she suppressed a scream.
“Hello, Love! I’m back!”
Because she was still in love with her wife, who never looked so handsome, and masculine, she wanted her so much, to be her husband for a change. But when Starfish did not pickup on hw hot she was, V looked into her eyes, and her hot blood turned as cold as ice.. V went deeper, very deep into the blankness of her look that was hiding something, hiding a powerful emotion. What was this look saying.

“What? What did you say!”
“I didn’t say anything. Did you see my lips move?”
“No, I….Oh my God! You have cuts on your face that needed to be treated or they will scar. Your beautiful face will be scarred for life!” V took a step towards the love of her life so she could caress her wounds and heal them somehow, But was stopped in her tracks by this statement.
“I want to have scars. They were made by God when my cockpit exploded when a Czech fighter got me in his crosshairs. I saw it explode – and the large bullet whiz past my ear. It was like slow-motion – and a near-death experience. I came that close, and barely made it back to the base. Can you read what my scars say. I tried to teach you the Hebrew alphabet, but you were closed to the truth. Read my scars, Victoria. What is the first letter? It’s a T. The second letter is a Z. The third letter is a K. What am I? “
“What? What are you talking about? You’re Miriam Starfish Bond – my wife!”
“WRONG! I am a TZADIK. I am one of the Righteous Ones, if not – THE Righteous One!
V was able to step back and get the complete picture. For sure, the woman, the human being she loved to death, was the craziest person on earth. And this was a consolation prize that comes with the total madness of her.
“Can I come in. I have something very important to show you!”
V looked even deeper into Starfish’s eyes, that were bottomless. They kept retreating from her so she would not read……God’s Message? Starfish was visualizing doing something, and her mind was almost made up she was going to do it.
“You can come in. but you have to take that hat off – and leave it outside. I will not allow it in my home!”
V almost buckled at the knees. She was following the Wizard’s instruction who was a Aikido Master..
“Never allow the aggressor to own a picture of what they want to do to you. Distract him/her. Be aggressive, first, then retreat into be the little wheel as they come at you with rage!”
“What did you just ask me to do? No one tells me what to do. I don’t take this hat off for anyone! I’m coming in!” Starfish’s boot came across the threshold.
“Take that – FUCKING HAT OFF!” Shouted V, and she backhanded it off Starfish’s head. When she bent over to pick it up, V saw a golden opportunity and opening. Grabbing the heady oak door, she slammed it with all her might….And it hit her love on her beautiful ass and she went flying ten feet off the stoop, and lay theor spread-eagled – IN FUCKIMG SHOCK!
“And STAY THE FUCK OUT until you can dress like a civilized human being!”
Locking thee door, V ran up the stairs as fast as she could to the safe room the Wizard had built. Throwing the bolts into place, V called her bodyguards. When he did not answer, V knew he was dead, and Starfish killed him. V began to weep. Then, she heard the muffled pounding of footsteps racing up the stairs. V stopped breathing. She was what was in the depth of Starfishes eyes…….Death.

Just days after dining at Mar-a-Lago with Ye — the rapper previously known as Kanye West — and white supremacist political activist Nick Fuentes, Donald Trump is now calling Ye a “seriously troubled man.”
It was Trump’s third attempt on Truth Social to backpedal from his hugely controversial meeting last Tuesday with Holocaust denier Fuentes and Ye, whose antisemitic messages (in which he vowed to go “death con 3” on Jewish people) were recently blocked on Twitter.
“So I help a seriously troubled man, who just happens to be black,” Trump wrote Saturday, offering “very much needed ‘advice.’” Ye has “always been good to me,” Trump added.
The former president insisted yet again in the post that he didn’t know Fuentes, who accompanied Ye to dinner.
As of late Saturday Ye had not yet responded to Trump’s latest Truth Social message. He has talked openly about his bipolar disorder diagnosis, a condition he has also referred to as a “super power.”
As for Fuentes, Trump was “very impressed” with him, according to Ye. Sources told The New York Times and Axios that Trump even praised Fuentes at the dinner. “He gets me,” the former president said, according to the Times.
But in each of the three posts, Trump emphasized that he had no idea who Fuentes was.
Fuentes himself hedged on the issue in his podcast Friday.
“I don’t think he knew that I was me at the dinner” — at least initially, Fuentes laughed. “Let’s put it that way. I don’t know if I’m gonna say he didn’t know me. I’m not sure about that.”
Fuentes is a high-profile right-wing extremist supported by key allies of Trump, like Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.). Both lawmakers spoke at a white supremacist conference organized by Fuentes early this year. That triggered heated controversy, which was widely and prominently covered by the media, which was apparently overlooked by Trump.
As for Ye’s appalling statements about Jews, Trump emphasized in an earlier Truth Social post that Ye “expressed no antisemitism” — at the dinner. Trump noted that he “appreciated all of the nice things [Ye] he said about me on ‘Tucker Carlson.’”
The dinner was first revealed in a video Friday by Ye, who claimed he asked Trump to be his vice president, and that Trump “screamed” at him.
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) told the Times Friday that Trump’s dinner makes him an “untenable” candidate for president.
“This is just another example of an awful lack of judgment from Donald Trump,” said Christie, who may make his own run for the presidency.
Matt Brooks, chief executive of the Republican Jewish Coalition, issued a statement, without naming Trump, saying: “We strongly condemn the virulent antisemitism of Kanye West and Nick Fuentes, and call on all political leaders to reject their messages of hate and refuse to meet with them.”
The Republican Jewish Coalition also retweeted a message from former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David M. Friedman telling Trump his meeting with both the antisemitic Ye and Fuentes was “unacceptable.”

Starfish’s Russian Blue
Victoria tried not to be distracted, but Miriam’s TISKING grew louder and louder.
“O.K. What is it – this time?”
“I’m reading about Phil Knight and how he is working behind the scene to make sure Tina Kotek is not elected. My father met Phil and a track meet. He is kin to Mark Hatfield. It looks like he wants to leave a BIG HISTORIC MARK on Oregon, for the sake of his wife and kids. Tina is married to a woman. She is one with us.”
“Let’s get on the same page. Hmmm! Looks like he wants to teach the Bohemian Alternative Folks a BIG RICH AND POWERFUL LESSON, being, ONLY THE RICH OWN REAL POWER. Oh, well! There’s nothing – WE CAN DO! Time to get ready for our event at the Getty Estate.”
Five minutes later, Starfish is really ticking up a storm!

Putin’ s men took Starfish and Victoria to a special prison, where a hologram of the Russian leader introduced our BAD agents to foreign prisoners. One was a giant of a woman that played basketball. Miriam told this forlorn woman that she was an athlete, an amazing hurdler – who has never competed!

One of the men behind the mirror got on Google and brought up Victoria Thachuk, a Ukrainian hurdler that will compete at Hayward field, while Russia is banned. Putin’s hologram was fed this information, and his image pointed to a screen. When a video of Viktoriya in a race was played, both our spies gasped.

The International Cat Federation has banned Russian cats from its competitions following the country’s move to invade Ukraine last week.
The federation, which is also known as FIFe after its French name, Fédération Internationale Féline, said in a statement that it was “shocked and horrified” that Russian forces had attacked Ukraine and “started a war.”
“No cat belonging to exhibitors living in Russia may be entered at any FIFe show outside Russia, regardless of which organization these exhibitors hold their membership in,” the organization said in the statement.
In addition, no cat bred in Russia may be imported and registered in any FIFe pedigree book outside Russia, regardless of which organization issued its pedigree.

The federation said the measures were decided Tuesday, as its officials could not “witness these atrocities and do nothing.”
“Many innocent people died, many more are wounded and hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are forced to flee their homes to save their lives,” the organization said. “On top of that our Ukrainian fellow feline fanciers are desperately trying to take care of their cats and other animals in these trying circumstances.”
The ban on Russian felines will remain in place until the end of May, after which it will be re-evaluated. Officials said they would also be donating funds to assist cat breeders in Ukraine.
The International Cat Federation was first formed in 1949 and hosts over 700 shows each year with more than 200,000 cats exhibited, according to its website.
The International Cat Federation is the latest organization to take a stand against Russia.
On Feb. 28, the International Olympic Committee banned Russian athletes from competing in the Paralympics, which began on Friday. The committee urged other sports bodies to do the same in excluding Russian athletes and officials from international events.
In response, FIFA has suspended Russian national teams from World Cup competition, including qualifying playoffs set to take place later this month.
Tech companies are also taking action in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Apple has stopped selling all of its products in Russia, while Google has suspended all ad sales in the country. Twitter and Snapchat have also made similar ad pauses in the country.
Why is Nike founder Phil Knight so desperate to prevent a Democratic win in Oregon?
Knight’s backing for Christine Drazan clashes with the company’s progressive image. Could it tip the governor’s race?

If Republicans win the race for Oregon governor, it will be down to one man: Phil Knight.
Knight, of course, is the 84-year-old co-founder and chair emeritus of Nike, the house that Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods built. And in this race to govern Oregon, a bastion of west coast liberalism, Knight has thrown full support behind the Republican Christine Drazan, an anti-abortion, tough-on-crime former lobbyist pushing “election integrity”. In a rare interview with the New York Times, Knight made his motive clear: Oregon’s next governor can be anyone but the Democratic nominee, Tina Kotek.
Knight’s lavish support of the right would seem to betray Nike’s own pursuit of social equality and environmental protection. After all, this is the “Just Do It” brand that champions Serena Williams, that kneels with Colin Kaepernick, that featured Argentina’s first trans female soccer player in a recent advertisement.
Over the years, the company has pledged millions to organizations dedicated to leveling the playing field in all spheres of life. But it has also come under fire for crafting a progressive PR image as cover while manufacturing products in Asian sweatshops with forced labor practices. A 2019 study by the Clean Clothes Campaign gave Nike its worst rating, stating: “The brand can show no evidence of a living wage being paid to any workers.” Worse, a 2020 Washington Post report sourced some Nike products to a Chinese factory “under conditions that strongly suggest forced labor” among Uyghurs, according to the Australian Strategic Policy Institute thinktank.
Drazan, on the other hand, led a walkout of state GOP legislators before a critical cap-and-trade vote. Besides being fiercely pro-Trump, she is also against transgender athletes in competition. So it figures that Nike, which pledged to cover travel and lodging for employees without abortion access, donated $75,000 to Kotek – who, as speaker, raised the minimum wage, limited state power plant emissions and committed to solving Oregon’s homeless crisis.

Kotek should have been a lock to become Oregon’s next governor when she launched her campaign earlier this year. A lifelong Democrat, Kotek is the state’s furthest-left nominee yet – a policy advocate for a children’s group and a food bank before she was the legislature’s longest-serving speaker.
But Kotek has struggled to push past Drazan, the former GOP house leader who’s only been in politics for three years. Republicans are rubbing their hands at the prospect of retaking the governorship for the first time since the Reagan administration. And it’s Knight who’s kept the door propped open for them.
With more than 73,000 worldwide employees, about 10,000 of them based at their Beaverton headquarters, Nike isn’t just one of Oregon’s biggest employers; it’s made Knight one of the world’s richest men, with an estimated $38bn net worth – money that buys clout in a lot of circles. He has given away more than a billion dollars to his alma maters Stanford and the University of Oregon, where his name is etched all over campus and the Nike swoosh pervades the athletics program.
Historically, Knight had been quite content doing business with Oregon’s Democratic governors – not least John Kitzhaber, a local legend elected to an unprecedented four terms before an ethics scandal forced him from office in 2015. That cleared the way for a fresh generation of Democrats to push progressive legislation that, among other things, would tax the rich and impose stricter regulations on big business – policies that Knight took personally. He clashed with Kitzhaber’s successor, Kate Brown, and gave $3.4m to her 2018 gubernatorial challenger Knute Buehler, who lost by seven points in a repeat of Republicans’ 2014 margin of defeat. “Knight didn’t move the needle at all,” says Jim Moore, an associate professor and director of political outreach at Pacific University.

This time around, Knight has found his efforts boosted by a shift in political winds. In the wake of Black Lives Matter protests, Portland has been politicized on the right as a decaying refuge for homelessness and drug abuse. All the while there has been a movement among the state’s eastern conservative-leaning counties, smarting from statewide Covid lockdowns, to break from their liberal neighbors and reconstitute within Idaho, although the actual population share of secessionists is modest.
To help his cause, Knight endorsed Betsy Johnson, an independent candidate who promised a direct line to her chief benefactor; the lifer in the state legislature holds common cause with abortion rights advocates and the NRA. “She and Phil Knight would fit very well in politics 30 or 40 years ago as moderate Republicans,” says Moore. “Social liberals and fiscal conservatives.” But Johnson’s campaign was damaged by her aggressively pro-gun response to the Uvalde school shooting (the 71-year-old, who favors stronger background checks, is not only a proud machine gun owner, but a robust gun collector) and her reluctance to condemn Confederate flag-waving supporters.
Knight has spent more than $7m on the governor’s race. Nearly half that money went toward boosting Johnson, a former Democrat who has split left-leaning voters. But when her numbers didn’t budge, Knight switched tactics and threw $1.5m at Drazan. Stumping for Kotek in Portland last month Bernie Sanders called out Knight as a corrupting influence. “Democracy is not billionaires, Phil Knight or anyone else, buying elections,” he crowed.
Overall, Oregon’s gubernatorial race has smashed records with more than $60m in donations; $13m came Drazan’s way via the Republican Governors Association (although Kotek still holds a $5m overall fundraising edge). And yet if Drazan pulls out the victory, it’ll be Knight who gets the credit – which, in this state, would be a major first for him. “A huge number of Oregonians look at him as just a rich guy who’s in it for whatever makes sense for him personally,” says Moore. “He just never moved voters to come along with him.”
Knight says he is far more conservative than Nike and that his views don’t represent the company’s. So far it appears that’s held true. “I can’t imagine there are any brand managers at Nike who are losing too much sleep,” says Matt Baker, chief strategist at the brand management firm Deutsch NY. “Of the enormous consumer base that Nike have, a fraction of a fraction would relate Phil Knight back to the brand or even be able to pick him out of a lineup.

“Could it impact at a local level? If it was going to happen, it would’ve happened already. He’s been pretty vocal about Kate Brown’s failures and the need to wrestle the governorship away from the Democratic party for a little while. And I don’t think we’ve seen a lot of blowback on Nike the brand, the corporate favorite child of Oregon.”
Even in Beaverton, Oregon’s seventh-largest city, Knight has struggled for political sway. “Niketown used to be on the outskirts of Beaverton, and then the outskirts surrounded it,” explains Moore. Over the years, Knight has contributed record amounts to the city’s council races, pumping tens of thousands into campaigns that generally run four figures. “And his candidates all lost,” Moore says. “So that gave me the first hint that Phil Knight doesn’t carry the political weight he thinks he does.”
What’s more, Knight, a middle-distance runner in his youth, still has one major hurdle in his way: registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by almost a quarter-million. But if Drazan can somehow clear that obstacle, the sneaker king will finally achieve the status he’s long coveted in Oregon: political Bigfoot.
