“Hello! My name is Black Dog. I have been de-balled and captured by a Black Witch. I made the mistake of responding to the news I was the father of a sixteen year old girl. I went and saw her in Sonoma. She went and got her guitar, and auditioned for me. I wanted to leave – get out – because I realized her mother was a Stage Mother. But, I wanted to see what would happen next.

Episode Two

The Leah Intervention

After I sent Leah home on the train I got to be alone with my daughter for two days. I didn’t know her family was holding a emergency meeting. When I escorted Heather home on the train, her half-brother approached me and asked  me to help seperate Leah and Heather – for good!

“I don’t know about this. You see, I’m not a real father. I’m a writer. I have no fatherly experience. I think I should go back home and finish my biography of my famous family. When it sells, I will have money to help my daughter.”

We took Heather to dinner, and when we were done, Bob said;

“Your father has something very important to say to you.”

“Ahhhhh! Hmmm! Well, I don’t want you to see Leah anymore. What do you have to say, Bob?”

“Well, if you say so!”

Only later did I realize I had been set up. Heather’s family were worried our two days alone, had broken the spell they had on her. Maybe I had called my family and made amends. Had we made secret plans to go to Vicki’s and the Rosamond Gallery opening. I tried to ignore the look of utter hatred Heather gave me, after she agreed, Leah was out of her life – for good! I wondered if she was going to get her revenge. I was a teenager once upon a time.

This is when Patrice announced I had an appointment to go see the head of Scientology for Northern California. They converted a famous old winery into recovery and rehabilitation cubicles. The problem is, they don’t have anyone who knows anything about getting clean and sober.

“They are wondering if you can hire people out of your AA meetings?

“Well. Hmm! You see, we have these twelve traditions….”

“Hey Pops! Are you getting cold feet! Am I talking to the guy who did the impossible. You single-handedly ended the Leah-Heather alliance. Right Heather? No one thought that was possible.”‘

At the end of every show, comes ‘The Judgement of Black Dog’. Two charges will be read from the PPD list. Then, you see the witches’ hand drag Black Dog off to his dark Punishment Closet, he shoved in, perhaps given a pat on the butt with a rolled up newspaper as you hear Heather’s voice.

“I have a lot of love and compassion for my dad even though he has made me, my mom, and anyone who is close to me out to be a monster I still have so much love and compassion for him.

You see, I am pretty sure my Dad suffers from a very rare mental illness call Paranoid Personality Disorder. In looking for a better understanding, I discovered this disorder and it fits my dad to a T.
