The anchor became a key Christian symbol during the period of Roman persecution. As Michael Card observes in his recent album, Soul Anchor: “The first century symbol wasn’t the cross; it was the anchor. If I’m a first century Christian and I’m hiding in the catacombs and three of my best friends have just been thrown to the lions or burned at the stake, or crucified and set ablaze as torches at one of [Emperor] Nero’s garden parties, the symbol that most encourages me in my faith is the anchor. When I see it, I’m reminded that Jesus is my anchor.”

Last week, in a quiet corner of Columbia University’s Manhattan campus, a vibrant structure drew attention with its bold colors and profound messages. This sukkah, a traditional symbol of Jewish harvest celebrations, was erected by Jewish students on October 16 as a statement on themes of liberation, displacement, and solidarity. Its intricate artwork and powerful words invited passersby to engage with the deeper meanings stitched into its fabric.
The first panel announced itself in black letters: “LIBERATION SUKKAH.” Below, delicate wings extended outward over the Hebrew phrase “Ufros Aleinu Sukkat Shalom,” meaning “spread over us a shelter of peace.”
“It’s a line from a prayer we recite daily during the Hashkiveinu,” explained a Columbia student involved in building the sukkah. (Two students interviewed for this piece asked not to be identified for fear of retaliation by university leadership.) “We chose this line because ‘sukkat’ means shelter, the same word for ‘sukkah.’ It’s a sukkah of peace.”

Just beneath the Hebrew text, a quote from the poem “V’ahavta” (2016) by Aurora Levins Morales stood out: “… nest under a block of roofs that keep multiplying their shelter.” Surrounding the quote were vibrant poppy flowers, symbols of remembrance and resistance.
The Liberation Sukkah emerged at a time when the Columbia University campus had already witnessed studentencampments against the ongoing violence in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank as well as the university’s investment ties to companies linked to the Israeli military.

The Liberation Sukkah was not the work of a single artist. It was a joint effort, brought to life by students in just a few hours. “I couldn’t give a number,” one student said. “It was a very collaborative process.”
“By creating common messages in the sukkahs, those building them refuse to be ‘artists’ in the Western tradition of named individuals attested to by a signature, as if a work was a check,” said Nicholas Mirzoeff, professor and chair of the department of Media, Culture and Communication at New York University and a Hyperallergic contributor. “What is being created is the common, or perhaps better, the commune.”
Circling around the sukkah, a panel captures attention with another excerpt from Levins Morales’s poem: “Defend the world in which we win as if it were your child.” The phrase hovered above detailed illustrations of the Shivat Haminim, seven sacred plants in Judaism — wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates.
“We wanted to acknowledge these plants, which are native to Palestinian land but hold significance in Jewish tradition as well,” explained the student.

God showed me His Kingdome of Truth! I take up all those who died at the Sukkot Festival. They are beholding the Face of God! I cleanse them of the demons who murdered them. I summon….
The events began around 7 a.m. when a siren warned of an incoming rocket attack, prompting festivalgoers to flee. Subsequently, armed militants, dressed in military attire and using motorcycles, trucks and paragliders, surrounded the festival grounds and indiscriminately fired on individuals attempting to escape. Attendees seeking refuge in nearby locations, such as bomb shelters, bushes, and orchards, were killed while in hiding. Those who reached the road and parking were trapped in a traffic jam as militants fired at vehicles. The militants executed some wounded individuals at point-blank range as they crouched on the ground.[6][7]
In addition to those festivalgoers killed and injured, militants took an unknown number of hostages, and the details regarding their whereabouts and condition are not publicly known.[3][4][8] It is now considered the worst civilian massacre in Israeli history.[7][9]
On the same day, Hamas militants conducted a series of massacres in nearby communities, resulting in the deaths of hundreds more Israeli civilians in locations like Netiv HaAsara, Be’eri, Kfar Aza, Nir Oz and Holit.[10]
Phanuel is the name given to the fourth angel who stands before God in the Book of Enoch (ca. 300 BC), after the angels Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel. Other spellings of Phanuel (Hebrew: פְּנוּאֵל or פְּנִיאֵל Pənūʾēl/Pənīʾēl,Tiberian:Pănūʾēl/Pănīʾēl)[2] include Panuel,Paniel, Peniel, Penuel, Fanuel and Feniel.[3] As Panuel his name means “God has turned”,[4][5] but as Paniel his name means “God is my face”.[6]
Phanuel was one of the four voices Enoch heard praising God.
This first is Michael, the merciful and long-suffering: and the second, who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael: and the third, who is set over all the powers, is Gabriel: and the fourth, who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life, is named Phanuel. (1 Enoch 40:9)
As an angel, Phanuel is reputedly a member of the four Angels of Presence. In 1st Enoch, he is also listed as an angel of exorcism (he is heard “expelling Satans”). Phanuel has also been linked with the Angel of Penance mentioned in the Shepherd of Hermas.
Some associate Phanuel with Uriel; although some others see this as debatable. Phanuel’s duties include bearing up God’s throne, ministering Truth, and serving as an angel of judgement. According to The Book of Enoch, Phanuel is the fourth angel “set over repentance and those who hope to inherit eternal life” [Enoch, Chapter 40:9]. He is the fourth voice heard [Enoch, Chapter 40:7] “fending off the Satans (adversaries or accusers) and forbidding them to come before the Lord of spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth”.
Phanuel (Greek: Φανουήλ Phanouēl) or Penuel (Hebrew: פְּנוּאֵל Pənū’êl) was the father of Anna the prophetess. He is mentioned once only in the New Testament, in Luke 2:36. He was a member of the Tribe of Asher and his name means “Face of God”.
Theologian John Gill supposed that “this man might be a person of some note, or he may be mentioned for the sake of his name, which signifies the face of God, and is the name Jacob gave to a certain place where he had seen God face to face” (Genesis 32:30).[1] As Anna was herself ‘very old’, it can be assumed that Phanuel was not still alive at the time of Anna’s encounter with the child Jesus in the Temple (Luke 2:38).
Phanuel is considered to be the leader of the Ophanim group of angels—the angels who guard God’s throne in heaven. Since Phanuel is also traditionally the archangel of exorcisms, ancient Hebrews made amulets of Phanuel to use when invoking him against evil spirits. Christian tradition says that Phanuel will battle the Antichrist (Belial, the demon of lies) during the Battle of Armageddon and win victory through Jesus Christ’s power. Ethiopian Christians celebrate Phanuel by dedicating an annual holy day to him. Some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon church), believe that the archangel Phanuel once lived on Earth as the prophet Joseph Smith, who founded Mormonism.
Last night I had nightmares about how divided the United States is. The prophecy I found two days ago about ‘The Great King’ bids me to give lessons aimed at not uniting us, but gifting us with The Truth, which will set us free from the chains of Hubris ‘The Great Liar’.
For three days I have been debating about posting part of my book that reveals Jesus was very much into the Laws of Moses, and Jewish Traditions – which Paul refutes! So do the the fake authors of the Gospels, who have Jesus born in a manger – and not a sukkot booth. I was waiting to see how the shut-down turned out, to begin taking Jesus away from the Christian Coalition, and Orthodox Jews who employ Evangelicals to their own ends. I turned on the news yesterday, and saw the torrential rains in New York. They said Brooklyn was being hit hard, and I looked at the dark red images over Brooklyn on Doppler radar. I am convinced there is real Prophecy going on. I read this in my newsfeed. Many Jews in Brooklyn are wondering it they met with God’s disapproval.

EXTRA! It just occurred to me that Jesus was conceived in a Sukkot booth in Brooklyn, and will be born on Hebron in nine months – as I saw in my dream thirty years ago. What if Jesus – was born in Brooklyn New York?

New York Jewish Week via JTA — Mark Vogel, who lives in the Bronx borough of New York City and runs a website about Jewish and kosher travel, spoke for many of his neighbors when he posted a video on Instagram of his sukkah being pounded by rain, standing forlornly in the middle of his flooded backyard.
“I built a Sukkah,” he wrote in a caption. “I should have built an ark.”
Vogel, and many of the other millions of Jews in the tri-state area, have been coping with the reality that Sukkot, the most outdoor holiday on the Jewish calendar, has coincided with heavy rains that have flooded highways, shut down subway lines and triggered a state of emergency in and around New York City. More than 8 inches of rain had fallen at John F. Kennedy airport by Friday afternoon, and more is expected into Saturday.
New Yorkers should expect heavy rain and flooding to continue throughout the night tonight,” Governor Kathy Hochul posted on social media on Friday afternoon. “To our Jewish neighbors celebrating the beginning of Sukkot, please take steps to stay safe during this severe weather event.”
Sukkot begins Friday night, and during the weeklong holiday, Jews traditionally eat their meals and sometimes sleep in the sukkah, an outdoor hut with a roof generally made from tree branches that recalls the Israelites’ biblical sojourn in the desert and emphasizes the need for divine protection.

But rain makes those observances close to impossible — leading most would-be sukkah-dwellers in New York to accept that they’ll be eating indoors on the holiday’s first night, and sparking a wide variety of theological and practical responses from rabbis and rank-and-file Jews alike. For others, it has complicated travel plans hours before the holiday’s start, backing up traffic, halting train service and making the subway especially hard to navigate.
“I once heard that if it rains on [the] first night of sukkoth, it’s some sort of sign that God is displeased with us,” Linda Gisselle Roth, who splits her time between New York City and Connecticut, wrote on Facebook on Friday. “And it’s been raining for days. And I’ve never felt like this before.”
She added, “I want to spend [the] first night of sukkoth, in my sukkah. So for right now, I’m asking, please let the rain stop.”

While the rainy season in Israel traditionally begins right after Sukkot, rain is a common occurrence on the holiday in the US and even inspired the title of a children’s book from the 1990s, “Why Does It Always Rain on Sukkot?”

Observant Jews have varying customs when it comes to dealing with rain on the holiday. Many avoid their sukkah entirely, while others will quickly recite blessings over wine and challah in the sukkah and then eat the rest of the meal indoors. Adherents of Chabad, the Hasidic movement based in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Crown Heights, try to eat in the sukkah under nearly all circumstances.
One resident of Teaneck, New Jersey, a heavily Jewish suburb, posted a single-spaced, two-page guide from his local rabbi on what to do if it rains on the holiday. The rabbi, who is not named in the document, recommends saying blessings over wine and challah in the sukkah and then continuing the meal inside.
Rabbis on social media, meanwhile, explored the theological dimensions of the weather. Some cited a passage from the Mishnah, the ancient code of rabbinic law, that compares rain on Sukkot, following the effort of building a sukkah, to a servant bringing his master a jug of wine, only for the master to throw water back in the servant’s face.
“Nasty weather on sukkot is a sign of God’s displeasure with us,” Rabbi Ysoscher Katz, who teaches at the liberal Orthodox Yeshivat Chovevei Torah seminary, wrote on Facebook. Then, referencing the recent High Holidays and addressing God, he wrote, “If all we did the last few weeks is not good enough for You, what’s left for us to say?! We did the best we can. If You want more, You will have to let us know what that more is.”
Rabbi Ethan Tucker, the president of the Hadar Institute, an egalitarian center of Jewish study based in Manhattan, also cited the passage and encouraged people to focus on the experience of the servant in the parable. He added that because the first day of the holiday falls on Shabbat, the other central commandment associated with Sukkot, praying with four species of plants, is also deferred a day. (Sunday is expected to be sunny.)

“What does it *feel like* when you have prepared for something and then you cannot execute it as planned?” Tucker wrote on Facebook. “It feels like rejection, as in the parable. The weather may in fact just be the weather, but it doesn’t necessarily make the feeling of loss less palpable. Is there a way to make this Sukkah rainout an opportunity to sit with rejection? To empathize with other such experiences, even if they are not our own?”
Some New Yorkers tried to stay positive. “It might be flooding and we might consume a lot of rainwater with our food lol but Sukkot Dinner under the Stars is still on even if we might end up eating indoors under a roof instead!” a Facebook user from Queens posted on Friday, advertising a meal that night.
Nina Jochnowitz, a State Senate candidate in New Jersey, cited the rabbinic idea that Sukkot is considered a time of joy, and referenced a Hasidic saying that “‘joy breaks all boundaries,’ transforming even the most negative occurrences into blessings!”
And others reached for seasonal parallels: “If only Sukkot came with rain dates like baseball,” one person posted.
For Vogel, the travel writer and Bronx resident, the rain was especially unfortunate, as he has built a smaller sukkah in recent years to limit capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the first year he had gone back to building a larger one.
“Well, I was looking forward to eating in a large sukkah this year with friends and family,” he told the New York Jewish Week. “But we can’t control the weather, so we will make the best of it.”

In the minds of millions of Christians, this is exactly what Jesus would do to PROMOTE HIS BRAND some more, upon his holy return! This is the most massive case of Collective Mental Illness – in modern history – made worse because – IT TAKES PLACE IN A DEMOCRACY! Only by demonizing Democracy as the No.1 Enemy of Americans, could this be possible!
Before Jesus-Trump entered the Court of Satan, he said our Justice system is corrupt, and, OUR NATION IS CORRUPT. He said people of the corrupt law are trying to destroy – HIS BRAND! I saw Putin sitting in court this morning. Trump is Putin’s Man in the Field. Trump is doing the work of Putin, and his killer priest, Kirill! No man of God is protesting – and saying what Jesus would have said;

I was raised a Catholic was taught there were consequences for lying – for telling falsehoods! As Christmas music slowly took over my classical music station, I said to myself..
“Tis the season of The Creeping Lie’. Soon, the lying will be total. The Pope will speak, and not declare Donald Trump – A DAMN LIAR -because he held up a Bible in front of a church, and, Christians went crazy! Hot dog – 1984 is here. Time to hear – JINGLE BELLS! Time to – grease up and bend over – whie the BIG LIE is slowly inserted in the next seventy hours!”
I reasoned, it was THE SEASON OF LIES, and why not go along with it, even bring out MORE LIES, such as the Prophet Jeremiah brought two Jewish Princesses to Ireland – AND THERE REALLY IS A SANTA CLAUS – guarded by the Knight’s Templars of Rougemont! Wasn’t the famous Jewish philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein interested in the writing of Black Mask authors who hung with my grandparents, suggesting there are hidden truths in fantastic fiction?

Before I went to bed, I noted once again that Ramatamar, resembles Starfish (modeled after Yulia Rose) who I said would be killed-off, and thus she would not contend for the spotlight with Victoria Bond who is somewhat frail and mousy. I refrained from telling Rotem Sela – to put some more meat on those bones! I didn’t want to scare her off by suggesting she’s my – NEW MUSE – who is allot like Miriam Starfish.

Mary Magdalene was used to portray Tea Tephi, an Egyptian princess. Sandys’ painting does not look very Egyptian, but for that matter she also does not look like the middle-Eastern that we know Mary Magdalene to have been.
Curious as to why the Sandys painting was chosen for the program, I googled Tea Tephi. Surprisingly, Mary Magdalene is the first image that appears in Google image search. For whatever reason, she appears on this ancestry page about Tea Tephi and I suspect that this is the source for America Unearthed’s use of the painting.
I posted this weeks before Ben Toney died. I wanted him to get a glimpse of how he was going to be remembered. I had come to realize I was involved in a real James Bond assignment which is to save the alliance between and the United States. I threw Holland into the mix, to only learn two days ago the Dutch had their pirate ship.
The making of Bond 25 is – cursed! The muses hate this movie. Violence and murder is not the message God wants to give in regards to solving world problems. In the name of kindred, Ian Flaming – I take over this production and legacy! I pirate it. I board this wreck and raise a United Flag that contains a musical note and a harp!
When I learned Ben was seriously ill and in the hospital, I knew he was going to die. I wanted to get a message to him before he left. This is in May. I only learned about the KORE connection, four days ago.
Chas Cunningham smeared and tried to destroy Gully Jimson’s mural that was inspired by the character and world of Augustus John, the close kin of Ian Fleming. Little people with little minds are always trying to do harm to the creative ones. This is why we dress, and act like fools. Perhaps they will leave us alone. ben got to know some very famous people, and just met quite a few. He told me he had drinks with Peter Sellers after a show, and I was jealous of Ben, for the only time. I have a Seller’s character in my Bond book based upon this – work of art!
Ben Toney had a fall a month ago, and his health has declined. He is in the hospital. For six year we have been fast facebook friends. We shared so much information. We fought side by side the rise of Trump. Ben is a friend – and ally! He managed his facebook the way it was set up to be. He has so many wonderful memories to share, and there were no outsiders. If you found Toney, you were in the ‘In Crowd’. I found Ben while looking at the genealogy of Rosamond Clifford, his kindred.
I learned Ben was gravely ill when I posted on my Ian Fleming revival, that brings the Bond lineage back to life in his granddaughter, Victoria Bond. She has this dream, this vision, where a great fleet is gathered once again. The famous British artist, Augustus John, had a son, Caspar John, who refused the title Sir. He was a Sea Lord. I revive Tug Boat Anny, and put her on a tugboat on the Thames. From here she broadcast her talk radio show. I modeled her after the pirate ship Radio London. Ian Fleming is kin to the John family. My kin, Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor is kin to John via the Getty family. Her grandmother is Elizabeth Mary Rosemond. Liz was born in John’s house with twenty of his paintings on the wall. The character, Gully Jimson, is based upon Augustus John. He lives on a old barge on the Thames.

Trump may be brought down by a wanton hussy such as she, who would have made a great Queen of the Pirates. The top image is of The Grail Mistress. Under her is Fair Rosamond, Ben’s ancestor.
We are preparing to set sail. I have gathered The Grail Fleet. Leading this fleet, is the Golden Hind, sailed by Captain Sir Francis Drake. He was a pirate for Queen Elizabeth. Next comes Jimson’s barge. Next comes the ship that was Radio London. Then come the Navy Ship that Ben served on. Then, come the ships that Caspar commanded.

You can say this fleet is a Bohemian fleet, a Gypsy fleet, a Rebel fleet, that will always set sail when a Tyrant and his gang of liars and crooks do away with the Free press, Freedom of expression, and…………The Truth!

I can not tolerate the idea of a world without Ben in it. I am witness to his fond farewells to member of his crew, and, am left with the sense we are losing a important part of our history. I salute all of these Sea Lords of the Airwaves who braved unchartered waters, and a new frontier.
