Did Shamus Dundon See Looters?

Drew Benton did not attend her mother’s funeral and was with her father, Garth Benton. When we got back to the home of a historic woman artist, Garth dropped Drew off so she could play video game with her cousin, Shamus Dundon, who was down in the dangerous cove – but left? I asked Shamus about what he thought about Tom Snyder”s biography, where it said there was looting going on. He said he did not read the bio. I read The Other Big Lie to him, and he called me insane, and hung up.

Denny Lawerne helped Cynthia McCarthy compile the history of Belmont that mentions our family members. If Carl Janke didn’t exist, then Shamus would not exist. Does he know Drew is dead? There was a court battle over Carl Janke’s estate. This too – is my family history. We know it is real because it appeared in the newspaper.

I think Drew Benton guessed at what was real – her whole life! She was abused by The Liars – the haters of history, the lovers on money and real estate! Jacci Belford bought a famous Carmel Inn after Christine died. I wonder if she had a life insurance policy in Rosamond. I wondered this after I was kept away from the meeting in Christine’s house – the day before the funeral. I was going, then Vicki uninvited me. If Christine committed suicide, then the policy – is worthless! Is this why Larry Chazen – the Getty Oil Guy – tried to become the executor. The Judge wouldn’t have it because he was the No.1 Creditor! Hmmm! I wonder if Insurance Companies pay to the Probate?

Above is a young Shannon Sidle. I sent her the bad news, and have gotten no reply. She and Drew fought each other in Court – for ten years! It runs in the family? Who got Carl’s Belmont estate?

Why Wasn’t Garth Called To Looting Scene?

Posted on August 26, 2021 by Royal Rosamond Press

Gallery Employees: left to right: Jacci Belford and Stacey Pierrot

Why didn’t the “gallery employees” call Garth Benton, and have him come over to the house he used to live in, and stop the alleged looting? He had much at stake, because his eight year old daughter was one of the Heirs. If things are taken from the estate, Drew Benton does not get those things. She was eight years old when her mother drowned. Did she first learn of the looting of the house she lived in from Tom Snyder’s book – published in 2001 – when she was fifteen? When did she learn her father had her half-sister arrested for stealing from the estate? Surely this would affect their relationship. Did my niece, Shannon Sidle, take part in the looting with members of her family? Why didn’t Garth mention this looting to the police when he had Shannon taken from her mother’s home in handcuffs.

Vicki Presco, and Jacci Belford, dropped out as Chritine Benton’s named executor, and nominated Garth to serve. He would be responsible for all contents of the estate. Garth would be obligated to make a police report and see if the stolen items could be recovered. Jacci Belford is one of the “gallery employees” she the general manager for many years. Did she encourage Vicki to make a report? If not, was Ms. Belford afraid a report would cause more chaos and animosity, and thus the un-named family members would not approve of selling her the entire estate?

Belford called me a month after the funeral and said she made an offer to purchase the entire estate and pay off the creditors. Her best friend in high school, Stacey Pierrot, is responsible for the allegation made in the book she hired a ghost writer to author. Did Tom Snyder wonder about needing more evidence a crime was committed? Whose information is he relying on? Is Tom afraid to ask other members of my family about THE CRIME incase they don’t want to contribute to his biography of a world famous artist? Was there a CONSPIRACY to conceal GRAND THEFT? Would innocent family members conceal facts in order to spare guilty members? Did any innocent family member have trouble keeping quiet, and thus, were persuaded not to report…..A CRIME?

Did family members “and others” CONSPIRE to steal from the home that Christine and Garth Benton occupied? If so, when did they CONSPIRE? Was it just a spur of the moment urge that unfolded before the eyes of Gallery Employees, Stacey Pierrot and Jacci Belford? Would you like to read, or hear, the testimony of these two concerned Citizens – in my book or a court of law? A crime is a crime! Oh sure, it is not a case of MURDER, but, was any art stolen?

Jacci Belford….Stacy Pierrot….I call upon you to make a video recording exonerating me from any wrong doing for the sake of the miracle of my daughter coming into my life. It’s time to name the other family members. Did my brother, Mark Presco, steal items from the estate? Was it Mark? If you two were wanting to own EVERYTHING, wouldn’t you want the stolen items recovered? I told my sixteen year old daughter, and her mother, to stay away from my family because crimes were being committed. They did not believe me, and disappeared from my life for two years in 2001 before Snyder’s book came out. Was Shamus Dundon involved in the looting? To not tell the truth can be construed as a CONSPIRACY to conceal facts about a major crime. Why didn’t these family members, and their looting friends, elect someone to ransack Christine’s home – while we are at the funeral? This way they did not have to fear being arrested – while committing a felony. Why didn’t you call Mark Presco and see if he could “staunch the flow”? Mark and Garth were the elders. At any time, did you urge Garth Benton to tell his attorney, Robin Beare, about what you saw?

For my readers at home…What would be the most valuable item in Christine’s house?

Conspiracy (criminal) – Wikipedia

This is from ‘When You Close Your Eyes’ by Tom Snyder, a ghost writer hired by Stacey Pierrot, who was sold my family’s art legacy by executor, Sydney Morris.

“Before the service, Vicki had taken the trouble to go through Christine’s bedroom, putting her jewelry and intimate belongings out of sight. As matters turned out, it did little good, for the funeral was not long over before family members and others were ravaging Christine’s house, taking whatever could be carted away. The artist’s closet, a veritable mother lode – took the worst beating. World-class spender that Christine had been, much of the clothing had never been worn. So whatever still bore price tags was hauled off to be exchanged for money. Jewelry disappeared, as well as other personal belongings. Gallery employees and close friends of the family, along with Vicki, were doing their best to staunch the flow – the estate had not yet been inventoried – but to no avail.”

Mark Presco, John Presco, Shamus Dundon, and Michael Harkins, were inside Christine Rosamond Benton’s home after the funeral. Because my friend Michael was a Private Investigator, he did not allow pics of him, thus, I use a image of Peter Sellers from one of his movies. He is disguised as a famous artist. Which one?

Anyone of these men could have stopped The Looters, especially Michael who sparred with Chinese martial artists in Downtown Oakland. Were any these males – LOOTERS? Ex-gallery manager, Michael McCurdy, lived next door. He read his poem at the funeral. He is a big guy. He and his wife were in Christine’s AA group. Why wasn’t he called to – THE SCENE? Why didn’t someone – call the police?

were doing their best“? What did their best entail? Were they wagging their fingers in the faces of the looters – and scolding them? Was there any touching going on during this…..GRAND THEFT? I would threaten to call the police – or take out my cellphone and take a video! But, we didn’t have cellphones back in 94. How about 911? What if I am a Looter?

The key phrase in this one……Why?

“the estate had not yet been inventoried”

Of course the estate had not been inventoried. The famous Rosamond was being incinerated while all THE ALLEGED LOOTING was going on. It sounds like whoever ended up with all the art knew there was stock missing – or going to be missing?

In criminal law, a conspiracy is an agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime at some time in the future.[1] Criminal law in some countries or for some conspiracies may require that at least one overt act be undertaken in furtherance of that agreement, to constitute an offense. There is no limit on the number participating in the conspiracy and, in most countries, no requirement that any steps have been taken to put the plan into effect (compare attempts which require proximity to the full offense). For the purposes of concurrence, the actus reus is a continuing one and parties may join the plot later and incur joint liability and conspiracy can be charged where the co-conspirators have been acquitted or cannot be traced. Finally, repentance by one or more parties does not affect liability (unless, in some cases, it occurs before the parties have committed overt acts) but may reduce their sentence.

Lawrence Chazen Was Friend of Gordon Getty

Posted on July 19, 2017 by Royal Rosamond Press

Here is an amazing account of the fight Gordon Getty had over his family legacy. I am sure Garth and Christine Rosamond Benton had inside information. I believe assets were hidden from the IRS. I suspect monies were covertly invested in California real-estate. Chazen was a partner in the first Rosamond gallery. They suspected I had become a close confident of my late sister again. This is why they posthumously destroyed both of us. Look at all the Oil Company lawyers! Did Robert Brevoort Buck know what was going on?

http://articles.latimes.com/1987-05-17/magazine/tm-348_1_getty-museum

My father described his private lender as the “Right-hand man of Gordon Getty”. Garth Benton was described as a “friend of Chazen and Gordon Getty”.  In the book, ‘The Taking of Getty Oil’  by Steve Coll, Laurence Chazen is described as a “friend and financial advisor in San Francisco”. Here he is at the reopening of the Rosamond Gallery, an event I was not invited to. Chazen is a partners in PlumbJack, and was my father’s private lender. Chazen and Vic, suggested they hook they hook Christine and Garth up. A date was arranged. Here is my letter from the office of Andrew Cuomo;

Investigate Buck Oil Spill

Posted on October 6, 2021 by Royal Rosamond Press

I am going to gather a team of Environmentalist to investigate the old oil spill of the SS Frank H. Buck, and the new oil spill. This investigation should be funded by the Buck Foundation Institute. We need scientists at Lands End to look for oil residue.

Above are scenes from the movie The Sandpiper starring my cousin, Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, who plays an artist. Liz looks very much like my late sister, Christine Rosemond Benton, whose partner in the first Rosamond Gallery in Carmel, was Oil Man, Lawrence Chazen. There needs to be a study on how many billions of dollars the California Coast generates. The cabin in the Sandpiper was moved.

The full scale of the ecological damage from the Huntington Beach oil spill will take some time to become clear, with birds and marine mammals hardest hit in the short term.https://www.dianomi.com/smartads.epl?id=3533

That’s the view of experts with experience of other incidents as they consider a suspected underwater pipe leak that spilled roughly 126,000 gallons of crude oil just miles off the Southern Californian coast.

“The recovery is going to be very uneven,” Steve Murawski, a fisheries biologist and marine ecologist at the University of South Florida said.

Dead birds and fish reportedly washed up along the miles of black-splotched shore as rescue workers rushed to recover oiled animals. Seven birds have been saved from the scene and another, a pelican, had to be euthanized. So far, there are no official reports tallying fatalities of animals or invertebrates.

Murawski has spent years studying the effects of the Deepwater Horizon spill – the largest offshore spill in US history that dumped 134m gallons into the Gulf of Mexico over 87 days in 2010, contaminating 1,300 miles across five states. Thousands of animals perished in that spill and the effects can still be seen and felt today, more than a decade later.

The situation unfolding in Huntington Beach is not on the same scale as the Deepwater Horizon disaster but there are still important takeaways and lessons learned, Murawski said.

He said birds and marine mammals will be hit, especially those that congregate along Southern California’s offshore islands or pass through its coastal wetlands. Smaller creatures like plankton could take a hit, but their fast lifecycle will likely ensure they bounce back quickly. “The longer alive and the slower growing things, like abalone and other things that can’t get out of the way,” he said, “that might be more problematic.”.

The effects could be felt long after the sand is cleared of the black sludge, especially in the impacted marshes and wetlands – critical habitats for migratory and shorebirds and several endangered species.

Researchers have also found that oil deposits don’t always float. Tar balls can find their way into underwater sediment or collect against sand banks where the waves crest near the shore, complicating cleanup efforts. Winter storms may continue to drudge up contamination long after containment is achieved.

“You will have to go through a number of rounds of beach cleanup and every time you have a storm you are going to see those tar balls back up on the beach,” Murawski said, noting that British Petroleum, the company responsible for Deepwater Horizon, was pulling up huge nets of tar and sand for years after the disaster. “I would imagine that that’s going to be a persistent headache for the people who are supposed to clean the beach up.”

Clearing oil from the sand and surface waters is a somewhat straightforward process, but it gets far more complex in the delicate marshes and wetlands. These areas, which are also home to a diverse array of species including migratory birds and endangered plants and animals, might be permanently affected by the oil spill.

Lawsuit Against Buck, Chazen, Pierrot, and Comstock

Posted on June 21, 2019 by Royal Rosamond Press

I am asking my daughter, Heather Hanson, to join me in a lawsuit against those who attacked our Miracle, and all but destroyed us.

Heather Hanson never met my world famous sister, Christine Rosamond Benton, who drowned on her first sober birthday. After her funeral, three women from Christine’s AA group approached me and informed me “Today is her sober birthday”. They invited me to her home group. They wanted me to speak. There was no Recovery message. Instead, Stacey Pierrot approached my mother and I, got down on one knee, took Rosemary’s hand, and said;

“Don’t let the dream die!”

Pierrot came up to me with a jar of Christine’s brushes.

“Take one!” she offered.

Down in the basement of the Rosamond gallery, I saw Pierrot hand my uncle Dick two prints. He rolled them up and carried them to his car. The gallery and Christine’s house would have been sealed by the executor, Vicki Presco. Tom Snyder said members of my family looted my sister’s home after the funeral. This liar asked about my 16 year old minor child whose full attention should have been on establishing a relationship with her fathter for the first time. I told Heather and her mother I began a recovery book in 1992 after being in therapy, looking for a way to repair the rent in our bond after a night of using in Christine’s home.

Bonds With Angels begins with my sisters and the ol crone up the street seeing an angel bathed in a bright blue light.  I associated her with the painting of the angel I saw on McClure’s Beach. She come out of the sea carrying The World that she offers back to me. I had a death experience. I associate this angel with Gabriel, who appeared to John’s father, and Mary the mother of Jesus. I also identify Gabriel as the unnamed angel in the birth of Sampson the Nazarite.

I declared myself a Nazarite in 1989. I associate Heather coming into my life with the three women who took the oath of the Nazarite because “God had closed their womb”. What does this mean? It means sexual intercourse took place, but, the holy agreement was not fulfilled. God had rendered these women His Virgins. They had children while old in years. I was fifty-five years of age when I became a father.

I know Patrice Hanson is repulsed by Christianity, she in the vanguard of the Wiccan Women Movement. I saw a video of fourteen years old Heather being initiated into a women’s group – with sweat lodge! The first day I spent with Heather began with an even at the Scientology Mission in Santa Rosa. My sixteen year old showed me her Auditing Book she took from a shelf. Millions of women believe Christianity is The Enemy. Aunt Linda Comstock hates Christianity and Alcoholics Anonymous. She is a raging alcoholic who did not give birth to a child. She considers Heather – her child! So does her alcoholic brother – who was also threatened by my Sobriety.

I am done watching Breaking Bad after he allowed the beautiful daughter of that poor sober father, who went back to drinking, to die, because she was A THREAT to Walt and his clean and protected family. His wife born a child late in her life. I have to consider whether the write of this show has read my blog that is my desperate cry for help, and my place of Sharing my sobriety and all the attacks upon my Sobriety. This includes my neighbors who invoke the name of Belle Burch and Alley Valkyrie who threatened me.

Executor Sydney Morris sold My Family Recovery to an outsider who I met for the first time at Christine’s funeral. Morris blessed Pierrot’s book and movie in hope it would renew interest in Rosamond’s visual art. Snyder USED the recovery program millions of my Brother and Sisters in AA need – TO STAY ALIVE! Everyone in Heather’s family should have read this book that describes my sister’s abuse of alcohol that all but destroyed her. There was connection to me and my claim I made to Morris, that all the interests of the Rosamond Estate would honor my Living Sobriety. I wrote;

“In AA were do not honor dead drunks, but those drunks who are born again in sobriety!”

Never was this message made clearer then the appearance of Heather in my life. Everyone should have gotten behind US. My daughter was going to my Sober Muse. She would inspire me that much more, and, be proof, that sobriety works. She could have been a healer and life-safer to many young people who are on the brink of misusing alcohol. I should have bee funded. I should have gotten my Recovery Book out in 2001. It could have been written – overnight! It had written itself! Then, Heather was disappeared from my life. I believe this was done to thwart my book, that I will now publish Part One of in two weeks, or less.

The last time I had a conversation with my daughter was over the giant pee stain in the back seat of the car my sister Vicki rented for us at the family reunion. My grandson said this on our drive to the airport;

“Linda peed her pants and made a funny joke!”

Bill Cornwell said this to me on the phone;

“Maybe you pissed in that seat and are too mentally ill to recall!”

My grandson will be my first witness. Then, Cornwell with take the stand. To accuse Heather’s father, and Tyler’s grandfather, of emptying his bladder of the pitchers of beer he drank, is an utter disgrace that I should never have been exposed to. Sydney Morris allowed Stacey Pierrot to title her self “Caretaker” of our families Creative Legacy.

Take not of the big picture of beer in the photo below, and, who hovers over it. That is Linda Comstock posing with Tyler Hunt. Heather posted this on her facebook knowing I look at it. That is Linda’s lover, Flip, who dies of acute alcoholism after toasting my grandson with a mug of been in a bar. This is the beer that was ejected from a drunken pig, and then she sat in her own urine for the two hour drive home.  I don’t think a writer for a bad-ass series could have come up with this. It is over the top! It was aimed at destroying my sobriety. I want to hear the funny punchline that Tyler hears – in court!

Heather is rising to the top of the Women’s Healing movement. She claims she had turned her life around. Prove it, by giving me a call and giving me a heartfelt apology! Look at the top photo. I see Tyler holding a beer while sitting on the lap of a drunken monster. Bill was born on my father’s birthday. Heather was born on my mother’s birthday. Both of my parents were extremely abusive alcoholics. It is in Tyler’s DNA to become alcoholic.

When I went to my family reunion at Vicki’s home, aunt Linda lived nearby. I wanted to meet Ms. Comstock. I didn’t know she had launched a pro-alcohol campaign, and wanted me a my sister to invest in a Bar&Grill. Flip and Linda were telling Heather her life would have been next to perfect if I was a ‘Party Daddy’ who drank with her, and had fun with that Fun Couple, who wanted to set up a bar in Vicki’s house to show-off Flip’s professional bartender skills. He was also going to cook. He was the role model Linda wanted for her niece, who titles her aunt a Gold-digger for marry a rich attorney for his money. I hold these drunks responsible for my falling out with Vicki again – and the terrible condition she is in! I am glad Flip – died! I want to sue Linda to the curb where she will die in the gutter, choking on her own vomit! I stopped watching Breaking Bad because it is not real. It is fiction!

As an adult, Heather chose to believe that I was a religious prig who got off telling her how to live her life. In my book I will discuss the Essenes who were into healing balms and angels. I suspect Jewish Women support the Essene Community that John the Baptist was a member of. My book will liberate women from the evangelical prigs who force women to undergo improper healing procedures because they are shame-based. My lawsuit is aimed at publishing and promoting my books, that I believe will heal many people. It is my desire to bring a lawsuit against evangelical lawmakers.

I believe the Buck Institute goes against the wishes of Beryl Buck who left her fortune to help the poor of Marine. We need studies on how poverty and alcoholism is inherited in our DNA. We need a sane, and a moral understanding what a true legacy is, verses trying to eliminate aging. We are regenerated via our children and grandchildren who should be taught in school what a genealogy is, what a Will is, and, what our parents and grandparents expect. The young are taught that our elders want blind obedience and respect, and thus it is their duty to rebel and be totally selfish. Thanks to Buck Money our offspring will be able to spit and laugh in our faces, now that they do not age – as fast! Look at this witchy freak. What’s wrong with her eyes? She’s right out of Disney!

“Come her my little my pretty. Come close so I can grab your dog by its neck! It has fleas, who suck the longevity out of me! My blood is too precious to waste on fleas!”

When my sister in AA heard I was going to see my daughter and her newborn child, then go see the lost family tomb, she gave me an AA  Angel Coin that I slipped into a crack caused by the last big earthquake. We had lunch in the graveyard. I did not know the Stuttmeisters were Odd Fellows, who were evicted from their graves, and move here.

Don’t let our family dream – die!

Judges 13-16 New International Version (NIV)

The Birth of Samson

13 Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, so the Lord delivered them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years.

A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was childless, unable to give birth. The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son. Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean. You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.”

11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. 12 When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. 13 But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. 14 He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, 15 for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. 16 He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. 17 And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

Year after year this man went up from his town to worship and sacrifice to the Lord Almighty at Shiloh, where Hophni and Phinehas, the two sons of Eli, were priests of the Lord. Whenever the day came for Elkanah to sacrifice, he would give portions of the meat to his wife Peninnah and to all her sons and daughters. But to Hannah he gave a double portion because he loved her, and the Lord had closed her womb. Because the Lord had closed Hannah’s womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat. Her husband Elkanah would say to her, “Hannah, why are you weeping? Why don’t you eat? Why are you downhearted? Don’t I mean more to you than ten sons?”

Once when they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh, Hannah stood up. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his chair by the doorpost of the Lord’s house. 10 In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. 11 And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”

12 As she kept on praying to the Lord, Eli observed her mouth. 13 Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk 14 and said to her, “How long are you going to stay drunk? Put away your wine.”

15 “Not so, my lord,” Hannah replied, “I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the Lord. 16 Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.”

17 Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.”

18 She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.

19 Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her. 20 So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel,[b] saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him.”

I just discovered Alcohol Justice tried to get a bill passed that would tax companies for damage done by pushing alcohol. Mayor Gavin Newsom vetoed this bill that was aimed at PlumpJack Wines. Newsom and Lawrence Chazen are partners in PlumpJack as are several members of the Getty Pelosi family. Chazen tried to get appointed the Special Executor of Christine Rosamond’s Probate, and went up against my niece, Shannon Rosamond, whose lawyer said;

“I am a member in good standing of the State Bar of California and an attorney on record for 50% interest in Shannon Rosamond. In my 16 years as a member of the State Bar California, I have never experienced a more deliberate fraud on any court or more reckless and calculated attempt to fraudulently take control of a probate estate at the exclusion of the lawful heirs and total manipulation of a tester’s intent that the present efforts of Attorney’s Robin Beare, Lawrence J. Chazen and Garth Benton, the descendants former spouse.”

When I told Heather and her mother how badly Shannon was treated, they could care less. I’m sure Linda was thrilled as well.

“The Charge for Harm campaign supported various bills in Sacramento and the San Francisco “Alcohol Cost Recovery Fee” ultimately vetoed by PlumpJack wine-distributorship owning Mayor Gavin Newsom in September 2010.”

Alas, I got these frauds all in the same boat, and up against Alcohol Justice who has to be on my side! That two sober autobiographies have been suppressed, is an outrage!

Below is the e-mail I sent Belle Burch after she sent me her poem that names the bars she drank in while living in a tent in downtown Eugene. I asked her to sign a non-disclosure statement. A couple of days later I got those threats from Alley Valkyrie. alcoholism amongst the homeless contributes to most of the problems they suffer.

I am launching a campaign and counter-attack against those who did all they could to defame me and destroy me. My daughter called me an insane parasite. Alcohol Justice will beg to differ after I show them how my grandson, Tyler Hunt, was used as the poster child by destructive drunks who hate my twenty-eight years of sobriety. This amounts to a usurption by the Drunken A-Team.

That’s Gavin Newsom’s partner under the black balloons at the Rosamond Gallery reopening. The world-famous SOBER ARTIST, and her troublesome program of recovery, is out of the picture. These parasites have convinced each other the waning sales of the Beautiful Rosamond Women, will be cured with the DEATH of a famous artist, her artwork surely to increase in value, and the idea the public wants to own a touch of immortality. Chazen was Christine’s partner in her first Carmel gallery. No doubt he gave his opinion on Charge For Harm to his PlumpJack partners.

Getty owns 49 percent of the concern that manages all the PlumpJack businesses; 96 percent of the winery; 96 percent of the partnership that runs the Squaw Valley Inn; and more than 80 percent of Newsom’s real estate development firm (recently, Getty and Judge Newsom bought him out, Newsom says). Getty has a smaller stake in the other businesses, but he’s still the lead outside investor in most.

Getty declined to be interviewed for this story. In response to written questions, he said he treats Newsom like a son and invested in Newsom’s first business because of that relationship. “After that,” he said, “the reason for my further investments was the success of the first.”
Getty’s son Billy also invested in five businesses, and other Gettys, including Gordon’s wife, Ann, own stakes in some.

Other investors represent a slice of upper-strata San Francisco: a firm associated with Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi; high-society plastic surgeon Jack Owsley; even TV newscaster Ross McGowan, whose morning news show has often showcased Newsom the politician.

Credible estimates of the prevalence of alcohol and drug abuse suggest that alcohol abuse affects 30% to 40% and drug abuse 10% to 15% of homeless persons. A review of policies that address substance abuse among the homeless finds that interventions alternate between control and rehabilitation. However, the unique needs of a changing homeless population require an integration of alcoholism and drug abuse recovery services with programs for women, adolescents, and the mentally ill. Alcohol- and drug-free housing is essential to support and maintain recovery. Psychology can contribute in the development of effective programs for homeless individuals struggling with addiction and alcoholism.

All Bottled Up

When Gavin Newsom and Billy Getty used to go into a wine shop, like other young guys, they were often directed to the light beer section faster than they could say “Merlot.” Maybe it was the baseball caps and sneakers. Whatever it was, it felt like a snub.

It didn’t matter that both young men come from very prominent California families. Newsom’s dad is the well-respected Judge Bill Newsom, and Getty’s dad is the composer and philanthropist Gordon Getty. The younger Newsom serves as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

In 1992, Newsom and Getty, both in their early 20s, decided that they had had enough of the “ageism” and opened their own wine shop on Filmore Street in San Francisco.

Newsom says, “The primary reason (we started PlumpJack was that) we were sick and tired of the snobbery surrounding the business.”

Getty concurs. He tells me, “Every new 21 year old is greeted with open arms by trillion dollar advertising campaigns for the apathetic consumption of hard alcohol or drinking light beer with the Swedish bikini team. And yet the one form of alcohol consumption that has proven medical attributes is shrouded in this nonsensical snobbery.”

The Company We Keep

Thus, PlumpJack was born. PlumpJack boasts a winery, thriving retail shops, restaurants, and a brand new Web site.

And they’ve stayed true to their focus.

Newsom tells me, “The whole strategy of PlumpJack is inexpensive value wines.”

The bottom line is that PlumpJack is introducing great tasting and affordable wine to a whole new generation. They’ve taken the mystery out of wine and put the enjoyment in.

And the business is thriving. The guys tell me that it takes 500 employees to run the company, a number that is likely to double next year.

From A To Zinfandel
So what do these guys say is a surefire party pleaser this year?

“One of the big booms we’re seeing now is Zinfandel. People realizing that it’s a great alternative to Cabernet and Merlot,” Newsom says. “And there are so many different styles of Zin. You can have Zinfandels that taste like Merlot that are racy and jammy, bright rich fruit. And you have Zins that are more in line with Cabernet where you get more a spice and licorice.”

And what about the ever tricky champagne?

The guys recommend Dampierre Brut. Newsom tells me that this champange is “stunning. Every time we serve people (at one of their five restaurants) they say what the heck is this? It’s got a lot of fruit but a baked bread yeastiness, which is just awesome, especially on the finish.”

“I want some feedback on our movie. I want you to sign a non-disclosure contract. You may not used any information I have shared with you without my permission and for any reason I deem injurious to my preservation and cause as agreed to at our first meeting.”

Alcohol Justice was established in 1987 as one of three major projects funded by the Leonard and Beryl H. Buck Trust at the same time the Marin Community Foundation was formed. The Marin Institute reported in 2006 that “countering the alcohol industry has always been a high priority for the Marin Institute, but we now want to make it the central focus of our efforts. That means we’ll put 100% of our energy into stopping the alcohol industry from harming public health.”[citation needed] In July 2011, the Marin Institute changed it name to Alcohol Justice to better align the organization’s name with the national reach of its network.[2]

Campaigns and Programs[edit]

Alcohol Justice, although based in San Rafael, California, plays a research and advocacy role in other cities and counties of California, such as Los Angeles and San Francisco, and has led numerous campaigns for legislation and regulatory reform in Sacramento, California. Nonetheless, it is a national organization that has conducted national and international research projects, conducted hundreds of trainings of youth, community leaders and public health advocates throughout the United States, and participated in international activities as well in Canada, Europe, Africa and Thailand.

The Marin Institute participated in a flurry of alcohol tax increase campaigns in the early 1990s, which resulted in small increases in beer excise taxes in California at the U.S. federal level in 1991 and 1992. From December 2006 to November 2010, The Marin Institute convened and organized a California coalition to promote proposals for nickel or dime a drink excise taxes or mitigation fees, including AB 1019 (Assm. Jim Beall, Dem-Santa Clara) supported in a testimonial video by John O. Whitaker, Jr.[3]

The Charge for Harm campaign supported various bills in Sacramento and the San Francisco “Alcohol Cost Recovery Fee” ultimately vetoed by PlumpJack wine-distributorship owning Mayor Gavin Newsom in September 2010.[4][5][6](More info at San Francisco Alcohol Cost Recovery database.

Ultimately the California campaign ground to a halt in November 2010 with the passage of Proposition 26 with 51.4% of the vote, supported by the Wine Institute, the California Chamber of Commerce, Chevron, and collectively oil, tobacco, and alcohol corporations. Proposition 26 now requires in California a 2/3 vote of both legislative houses to pass impact or mitigation fees to charge industries for the harm caused by production or consumption, and requires a 2/3 vote of the electorate to pass such fees at the municipal or county level.[7][8]

The most recent well-reported and inappropriate display of locker room excess followed the NL Pennant win. San Francisco Giant pitcher phenom, Madison Bumgarner, chugged four cans of Bud Light at once in the well-televised celebration late Thursday night. It was followed by SF Giant Sergio Romo’s abusive behavior towards his girlfriend outside a bar on Friday at 2:00 A.M. Romo’s allegedly alcohol-fueled domestic violence and disrespect to the SFPD was only reported on the following Monday.

“Hey Jon,

It’s Belle. Still wondering if you’re real. Thank you again for the bike. Let’s set up a time for me to do some modeling. Thurs and Fri are possibilities for me.
By the way, Why “John Ambrose”? Is that your middle name? Nom de plume? Highly synchronistic, as my current partner’s legal first name is Ambrose. I’m very curious about this.
Also, I thought you preferred to spell your name without the “h”?

Here’s the poem I said I’d send you.
Haven’t read any of your emails yet, will get to that soon.

Untitled

Last night I fell
asleep in a tent on the concrete
in front of city hall
to the sounds of a quiet radio-
some show about the Bermuda Triangle.
How things, people
disappear there.
Whether or not it exists.
Interviews with people
who believed in it,
interviews with people
who didn’t. Its history.
Amelia Earhart. (Airheart?)
It seemed to go on
for centuries.
There are people out there
who don’t have state IDs, passports,
birth certificates,
social security numbers,
who technically
legally
don’t exist.
The faeries who put people
to sleep for 100 years must live there
in that West Atlantic Vortex.
I got lost in it,
like Rip Van Winkle*,
and woke
to a changed world.
I texted a lover in New Orleans,
‘I’m stuffing almonds into a banana,
around my neck is a red bandana
and I love you.’ It was all true.
I walked through what is known
in Eugene as the Barmuda Triangle,
the magical trine of Luckey’s,
Horsehead and Jameson’s downtown.
If you order food at Jameson’s,
it gets run across the street
from Horsehead.
Luckey’s has the best pool tables,
and a fantastic little Mexican foodcart lovechild
that only accepts cash.
At the Horsehead,
there is a touch screen machine
where you get to choose
what music is being played.
You pay money for this privilege.
If you pay more money,
your songs get played
first.
This is a triangle
you can only get lost in
if you’re a real person.

* bandana around my eyes to keep the
blazing orange streetlights out

Belle, I am confused. You took my number when we met after I told you I am an author out to preserve the Beat-Bohemian-Hippie culture. You said you were a radical, and I assumed you were an advocate for the homeless. Why then have you not talked about your radical homeless work with me when I shared at length my work with the homeless here in Springfield? From whom did you get an interest in Bohemians? Who is your boyfriend? Is he a radical advocate for the homeless? Has he been involved with OCCUPY?

I am trying to give YOU something very important. I know a information game when I see one. Dan Brown and his wife used to lurk on the yahoo.groups I belonged to that discussed the Templars, the Holy Grail, and the Masons. I have argued with members of the Sinclair family. The Davinci Code was a rip-off of OUR studies. Why are you examining me? Has it occurred to you that I am a Bohemian worth saving?

I married a very radical woman who was married to Thomas Pynchon. My best friend was good friends with Michael McClure and Jim Morrison. I was close with members of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love.

I asked you to help me get this information in a format that can be published, so that I can own credibility to put forth my knowledge. Once I am published, I wont’ be examined by people who have a selfish interest, and thus their finding are negative. I want your positive input and help. How many questions has your boyfriend put to you about me? If he wants to know anything about me, he can give me a call!  If you don’t understand why I am trying to give you something, ask and thou shall receive. I will tell you the truth – if I feel you are on my side!

The truth is, I did not like your poem, because I hate conspiracy radio. I want to do my own radio show called the Authentic Human Being Show. I did not like your poem because it says very little about YOU and your advocacy for the homeless. OCCUPY has a core group of people who want to remain anonymous. In my book they do not get to use the homeless as their human shield so they can own a cloak of invisibility in order to secretly push their ideaology. I can, and will expose that! Like the Pied Piper I will, put forth a better idea!

An article on the Beats says there is no direct connection between the  Pynchon and the Beat writers. I am that connection!

I want some feedback on our movie. I want you to sign a non-disclosure contract. You may not used any information I have shared with you without my permission and for any reason I deem injurious to my preservation and cause as agreed to at our first meeting.
