For a week I have been trying to find time to post on all the comets, asteroids, and the Aurora borealis that is being seen in Arizona. An hour after my last post I find “Steve” on my phone.
Victoria awoke, and felt for her wife. It was still dark and she could make out her silhouette against the deep blue blanket of dawn coming in the sliding glass door.. She was at the hotel desk on her laptop. Sensing her man was awake,
“He’s here!”

“Stephen…The King of Comet King!”
Victoria looked over Starfish’s shoulder at the image of a large tail of a comet, or so she thought. STEVE has a strange energy in the night sky.
“He’s here! This is how killer Saul-Paul recognized member of THE WAY. Once every so many years, an energy comes out of The Milky Way and dwells in certain people who are receptive to cosmic ideas. Saints in India learned to prepare for these events. The Judaic cosmology came from India. My parents took me to the top of Mount Shasta on moonless nights. One night the Aurora Borealis was right on top of us. We felt we could reach out – and touch the purple color, the color of the robes of kings, Suddenly the Milky Way opened like a curtain, and we were staring into the Heart of Creation. We looked at each other, and there was a glowing halo abound our heads – that lasted for days. However, mine kept coming back. Look1 I can control my Halo Spirit! We had to hide our golden light from our enemies. But, when the crowned one is on Earth, we can not. Such is our…..Cosmic Joy!”
Victoria gasped as a gold light appeared around her wives head! She took two steps back. She reached her hand out and felt the tickle of these gold slivers of light.

Meaning of Steven: Medieval English variant of STEPHEN, and a Dutch variant of STEFAN. The filmmaker Steven Spielberg (1946-), director of ‘E.T.’ and ‘Indiana Jones’, is a famous bearer of this name.
This week, the dancing, shimmering, luminous aurora borealis descended from the sky, further south from its typical territory, where it could be seen even in parts of the United States from California to Colorado to West Virginia.
The Air Force didn’t immediately respond to questions early Friday about whether any such activity could explain the video, shared by 8 News Now viewer Bill — he asked not to use his last name — who lives in the southeast valley.

The atmospheric light show nicknamed STEVE may be even weirder than skywatchers thought.
STEVE, short for Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement, is a sky glow that appears south of the northern lights (SN: 3/15/18). STEVE’s main feature is a mauve band of light formed by a stream of plasma flowing westward through the atmosphere — a different phenomenon from the one that gives rise to auroras (SN: 4/30/19). But STEVE’s purple arc is often accompanied by a “picket fence” of vertical green stripes. That fence looks similar enough to the shimmering green curtains seen in the aurora borealis that scientists thought at least this part of STEVE could be a type of aurora.
Recently, studies of the picket fence’s color have cast doubt on its origins. Auroras form when electrons from the magnetic bubble, or magnetosphere, surrounding Earth cascade into the atmosphere (SN: 2/7/20). Those electrons make nitrogen in the air glow blue and oxygen glow green. While STEVE’s green picket fence also contains glowing oxygen, a dearth of nitrogen emission hints that the fence is not the same kind of light show as an aurora.
Now, researchers and citizen scientists have identified an even more unusual aspect of STEVE’s picket fence: small green streaks that stick out like feet from the bottom of some of its vertical stripes. The structure of these horizontal streaks cannot be formed by the electron showers responsible for auroras, researchers report in the December AGU Advances.

“It’s really weird, and nobody really knows what’s going on just yet,” says Joshua Semeter, an engineer at Boston University. But the new observations suggest these horizontal streaks — and perhaps the similarly colored fence — arise from some STEVE-specific process.
Semeter and colleagues examined horizontal streaks below picket fences in high-resolution images of STEVE taken by citizen scientists. The analysis suggested that the streaks in these images were not actually lines extended across the sky, but only appeared that way due to motion blur, as spherical blobs of glowing gas moved through the atmosphere.
These green blobs might arise from turbulence in the torrent of plasma that creates STEVE’s purple band, Semeter says. Positively charged atoms in the plasma may rush through the atmosphere largely unimpeded, forming a smooth purple arc. Meanwhile, electrons in the plasma are far lighter and more liable to get tripped up by Earth’s magnetic field lines — giving those particles a much bumpier ride through the air. As a result, those high-energy electrons may get tangled up in small vortices on the edge of the plasma stream, below the purple streak. There, the particles could excite pockets of oxygen to glow green.
For now, this is just a theory for what might be occurring. Computer simulations of plasma flowing through the atmosphere could test whether the idea is correct.
Whatever is going on with STEVE’s horizontal green features, “there’s some tantalizing evidence” that they’re related to the vertical picket fence, Semeter says. “We found events where these little feet appear before or at the same time as the green column above it.” And some horizontal and vertical streaks looked connected. “It appears that the green emission is actually expanding upward along the magnetic field line,” Semeter says. If so, that could explain why STEVE’s picket fence doesn’t have quite the same color as typical auroras.
While these observations do hint that the fence may arise from STEVE-specific particle interactions, it’s hard to be sure based only on photographs from the ground, says Toshi Nishimura, a space physicist at Boston University who was not involved in the work.
Future satellite observations could confirm whether electrons from the magnetosphere are pouring into the atmosphere in the region of a STEVE picket fence, he says. If satellites don’t see such electron showers, that will bolster the idea that the fence is different from normal auroras.

Friday night I considered deleting my post on Gooby McCoon. When I woke up on Saturday morning, I told myself I was going to do it. I read it once more – and still like it! It contains much of my input on the renaming of Lane County. But, I felt something was wrong. I composed and posted my last blog on the Fictional Republicanism. Taking a break I read my newsfeed on my phone in my easy chair – and read this!

The Territory of Oregon was an organized incorporated territory of the United States that existed from August 14, 1848, until February 14, 1859, when the southwestern portion of the territory was admitted to the Union as the State of Oregon. Originally claimed by several countries (see Oregon Country), the region was divided between the UK and the US in 1846. When established, the territory encompassed an area that included the current states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, as well as parts of Wyoming and Montana. The capital of the territory was first Oregon City, then Salem, followed briefly by Corvallis, then back to Salem, which became the state capital upon Oregon’s admission to the Union.

LANE COUNTY, Ore. — A discussion took place Friday at the Eugene City Club on an idea that’s come up before: renaming Lane County.
During the meeting, people talked about the proposal of renaming the county to “Kalapuya County.”
Speakers there say the Kalapuya and their ancestors are estimated to have lived in the Willamette Valley 16,000 years ago.

They talked about a brutal history tribal nations endured in the 1800s when Joseph Lane was Oregon’s first governor, which is who the county is named after.
“And really, for me, it’s less about being against Lane and being more for Kalapuya homeland. Or, Kalapuya County – that is probably more just,” said David Lewis, Assoc. Professor of Anthropology at Oregon State University.
Professor Lewis says he was at the meeting Friday to talk about the Kalapuya history and to educate people.
He says the next step to this proposal is having more discussions, and if it went further, it could come to Lane County residents voting on a name change.
The Museum recognizes the spiritual relationship of the Grande Ronde Community to the Willamette Meteorite.

The American Museum of Natural History and the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon today signed a historic agreement that ensures access to the Willamette Meteorite, a world famous scientific specimen at the Museum, by the Grand Ronde for religious, historical, and cultural purposes while maintaining its continued presence at the Museum for scientific and educational purposes. The agreement recognizes the Museum’s tradition of displaying and studying the Meteorite for almost a century, while also enabling the Grand Ronde to re-establish its relationship with the Meteorite with an annual ceremonial visit to the Meteorite.
The agreement reflects mutual recognition of and respect for the traditions of both the Tribe and the Museum. As part of the agreement, the Tribe agrees to drop its claim for repatriation of the Willamette Meteorite and not to contest the Museum’s ownership of it. However, the agreement also stipulates the Meteorite would be conveyed to the Tribe if the Museum failed to publicly display it, except for temporary periods for preservation, safety, construction and reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Museum. Also in keeping with the agreement, the Museum will place a description of the Meteorite’s significance to the Clackamas in the Hall of the Universe, alongside a description of the Meteorite’s scientific importance.
Officiating at the announcement and signing ceremony, which took place in the Museum’s Rose Center for Earth and Space and beside the 15 1/2-ton Willamette Meteorite, were Ellen V. Futter, president of the American Museum of Natural History, and Kathryn Harrison, chair of the Grand Ronde Tribal Council.
“I can’t begin to tell you how much this means to us,” said Kathryn Harrison, Grand Ronde Tribal Council chair. “Since the termination of our tribe by the federal government in 1954, we have worked hard to gather our people together to share our unique and important past. This agreement goes even further because it looks towards our future. I consider it one of the outstanding milestones we’ve reached for our tribal members.”
“It is an honor to sign this historic agreement with the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, ” said Ellen V. Futter, president of the Museum. “This constructive resolution demonstrates the Tribe’s and the Museum’s enlightened and progressive approach to discovering the opportunities that lie within our traditions. Our agreement reflects mutual respect and understanding and signals new possibilities for an ongoing and fruitful relationship, and I am pleased to announce that the Museum will establish a new internship program for Native American young people with tribal members of the Grand Ronde as its first participants. It has been a privilege and pleasure to work with our friends in the Grand Ronde.”
The largest meteorite ever found in the United States, the Willamette is believed by scientists to be the iron core of a planet that was shattered in a stellar collision billions of years ago. The Meteorite crashed into Earth’s surface thousands of years ago traveling at more than 40,000 miles per hour. The Museum purchased the Willamette Meteorite in 1906 and since then the unique scientific specimen has been on almost continuous display at the Museum and viewed by millions of visitors from around the world. The Willamette Meteorite is the centerpiece of the Cullman Hall of the Universe in the Museum’s recently opened Rose Center of Earth and Space.
Known as “Tomanowos” to the Clackamas, who lived in the Willamette Valley before the arrival of European settlers, the Meteorite is revered by the Clackamas and their descendants. According to the tradition of the Clackamas, Tomanowos has healed and empowered people in the Willamette Valley since the beginning of time. The Clackamas believe that Tomanowos came to the valley as a representative of the Sky People and that a union occurred between the sky, earth, and water when it rested in the ground and collected rainwater in its basins. The rainwater served as a powerful purifying, cleansing, and healing source for the Clackamas and their neighbors. Tribal hunters, seeking power, dipped their arrowheads in the water collected in the Meteorite’s crevices. These traditions and the spiritual link with Tomanowos are preserved today through the ceremonies and songs of the descendants of the Clackamas. Beginning in the 1850s, the Clackamas, along with more than 20 other tribes and bands from western Oregon and northern California, were relocated to the Grand Ronde Reservation in Oregon. Today, the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, a federally recognized tribe, is the successor to the Clackamas Tribe.
Growing out of discussions with the Grand Ronde, but separate from the agreement, the Museum also proposes, in keeping with its mission of scientific and cultural education, to establish an internship program for Native American young people. Such a program, which the Museum anticipates developing in consultation with the Grand Ronde and others, would facilitate an open and reciprocal exchange of information and expertise between Native Americans and the Museum and would have the following general purposes:
- to foster Native Americans’ sharing a deeper understanding and appreciation of their customs, traditions, and history with the Museum community and the general public;
- to share with Native Americans information from Museum collections and research about their history, and help to restore their ancestral traditions;
- to share Museum expertise in archaeology and anthropology to advance ongoing study by Native Americans of their culture and traditions;
- to cultivate scientific knowledge and appreciation of the local environments of Native American tribes; and
- to assist in the dissemination of learning on these and related matters between and among Native Americans, museums, and the general public.
The Museum’s internship program is expected to have tribal members from the Grand Ronde as its first participants.
Also attending the signing were Anne Sidamon-Eristoff, the Chairman of the Museum Board of Trustees; Ed Pearsall, Tribal Council Secretary; and June Sell-Sherer, member of the Tribal Council.

The Central Plains is the portion of the Great Plains which lies south of the South Dakota-Nebraska border and north of the Arkansas River. It includes Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, southeastern Wyoming, and western Colorado. After migrating from the Ohio River valley, the Siouan-speaking Omaha settled in what is now Nebraska. The name Omaha is generally said to mean “upstream, against the flow.”

James sat down on a wooden bench in front of the train station in Lincoln Nebraska and watched The Old Red Ones waddle by, they sticking close because this may be their last Corn Huskers game. This was the last game of the season, and the Huskers were playing The Sooners of Oklahoma. It was all coming back to Mr. Bond, the wild frenzy of it all, the smell of battle and another coming victory. Looking down the tracks he could see where the city ends and the vast flat nothingness continues. After his mental break-down he thought about moving to Lincoln so he could be near her. But she insisted;
“There’s nothing here, here. You will get bored!”
“But, you’re here!”

I have chosen to post my amazing findings, even conclusions, as to the true identity of Jesus, in the circle of The Brotherhood, who set me on a Spiritual Path. I credit my grandmother, Mary Magdalene Rosamond, with establishing a path she hoped I would follow. I wish she were alive so I can show her my claim, that I Am a Comet King. In the top picture we see the coin of a Parthian King with a map of a star’s movement across the heaven. These Magi-Kings wore starry crowns, and wore their hair long representing the tail of a comet.
Nancy took my daughter, Heather Hanson, to dinner and met my miracle for the first time when she was sixteen. Christine Rosamond and I, along with Nancy and the Zorthian sisters, lived in a commune in San Francisco. Christine, Nancy, Owsley, and Nick Sands, went on a double date. Bob Hamilton, and his friend since grade school, Tim Scully, bought me artists supplies from which I rendered my second painting of Rena, that inspired my sister to take up art. I lived with James Taylor, another friend of Bob and Scully, who helped build the sound system for the Grateful Dead. Bob helped out on the Acid Test. I painted Rena while living with Peter Shapiro who played lead with The Loading Zone, that were The Marbles when they played at the first Acid Test. James put a photograph of Meher Baba on the wall at the 13th. St. Victorian. Taylor put books on the Indian Religion by my bed. This is the Brotherhood of Eternal Love. I give credit to Bob and James helping me come fully back into my body after my fall, and near-death experience while on a massive dose of LSD. I credit James with establishing my Spiritual Investigation into the Religions of India, and my reading of the Bible for the first time in 1987. What a long strange strip it has been. I believe I have found the True Identity of Jesus via the Parthian Magi. Baba’s parents were Parsi from Iran. I found the Comet ‘Long Haired Kings’ from whom the Merovingian’s descend. Pharamonde and Rosamonde were Parthians. I give my daughter permission to use Rosamond in my granddaughter’s name. I suggest she marry Bobby Dew, and name his daughter….

I am going to concentrate my energy on the crisis in India where I was bid to go in 1967. A woman deterred me.

Here is the vision of my Nebraska Muse coming true! Irene (Rena) Victoria Christensen was living with her grandmother in Grand Island Nebraska when we met. She married Commodore Sir Ian Easton of the British Defense Staff Washington, and they had two children. They lived on the Isle of Wight where my story begins. ‘The Royal Janitor’ is a propaganda novel (and movie?) began to counter Russian hackers. I depict Rena and as Helen and Britania of Nebraska. Her beauty – inspires me! She is the American Beauty with duo-citizenship. Does Russia and China have such beauty that could compare to our American Masterpiece? I doubt it. Hers is the face that launched a thousand ships.
Inspiration is where you find it! We will prevail! Hail Britania!

Born Under a Shower of Stars

I was born October 8, 1946 two minutes after the sun set. An amazing star-shower was suddenly visible. The nurses in the maternity ward bid my mother to come to the window and look, but, was too spent having just delivered me.
Rosemary said she had a vision while she was giving birth to me, she telling herself she must not forget it. She forgot.
Rosemary named me after John the Baptist because she believed I was born on the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. I was born three days after Yom Kippur.
When my Astrologer began her five hour (recorded) reading of my chart, she began
with these words;
“Jon, I have never seen a chart like yours, never knew it was possible. It
begins where all charts in theory begin, on the exact cusp of Pisces and Aries..
For this reason I had to move up the time of your birth ten minutes, or in
theory, you were not born. As it is now, you barely escaped becoming a veritable
prisoner in this lifetime, that is, all the information you came here to share.”
I believe I was born to die, and when I did, my clock was readjusted so my information could be set free. My astrologer said I am of the great Scorpion Scholars of the Biblical Wilderness who sting themselves in order to induce a near-death experience and behold the Creator, if only for a little while.

had set and the evening sky was a rainbow with stars coming out in the thalo
blue. There was a crescent moon cradling a star. Rena was wearing a thalo blue
cape the color of Carla Bruni’s sweater. I painted stars along the edge. For two
months I have been thinking of posting this photo, for the entity I saw was
wearing a thalo blue robe and had jet black hair filled with tiny stars like
diamonds.
My freed information needed the imput of female information. When our hands touched in the total darkness an amazing download began. It was and electrical experience.
Rena and I spent six weeks together. We never listened to a radio, watched TV..

The October Draconids, in the past also unofficially known as the Giacobinids, are a meteor shower whose parent body is the periodic comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner. Almost all meteors which fall towards Earth ablate long before reaching its surface. The Draconids are best viewed after sunset in an area with a clear dark sky.
The 1933[1][2] and 1946[2] Draconids had Zenithal Hourly Rates of thousands of meteors visible per hour, among the most impressive meteor storms of the 20th century. Rare outbursts in activity can occur when the Earth travels through a denser part of the cometary debris stream; for example, in 1998, rates suddenly spiked[3][4] and spiked again (less spectacularly) in 2005.[5] A Draconid meteor outburst occurred[6] as expected[7][8][9] on 2011 October 8, though a waxing gibbous Moon reduced the number of meteors observed visually. During the 2012 shower radar observations detected up to 1000 meteors per hour. The 2012 outburst may have been caused by the narrow trail of dust and debris left behind by the parent comet in 1959.[10]
