Here is. Presidential Candidate, Nikki Hakey saying WOKE is a plage. I might be the only person that knows what WOKE means.
John
BAIER: Last thing. And this is a big issue in the Republican primary as well, woke and wokeness, and what that means for families around the country.
You’re quoted as saying: “Wokeness is a virus more dangerous than any pandemic, hands down.”
So, for those families who look at you saying that and say, I don’t know if wokeness — the pandemic took my family member. What do you say to them?
HALEY: Well, I have friends and family members. My sister-in-law died from COVID. So, look, it’s — there’s no one closer to it than — than our family. And we share that grief with all the other families.
And that’s the reason why I think we need to hold China accountable for exactly what they did to many families.
But when you talk about wokeness, don’t underestimate the dangers of what this is doing. The wokeness has caused so much damage to our children, that we can’t have that happen anymore. It is a plague that will impact them for the rest of their lives if we don’t put a stop to it. It’s dangerous. It’s unhealthy. We’re seeing it with anxiety and stress on our kids. And we have got to put an end to it.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday again ripped into the Manhattan district attorney when asked about the potential charges against Donald Trump at a news conference at the House GOP retreat in Orlando while seemingly growing frustrated with reporters after multiple questions about the former president who has continued to dominate the news cycle.
McCarthy was asked directly if had concerns specifically about Trump’s alleged conduct regarding a hush money payment to Stormy Daniels and quickly pivoted to talking about Hillary Clinton and did not answer the question — before instead targeting the Manhattan DA.

“What we see before us is a political game being played by a local … Look this isn’t New York City, this is just a Manhattan, this is just a borough DA. Okay,” McCarthy said.
McCarthy told ABC News when asked that he hasn’t spoken to Trump in three weeks and that he has not talked to him about his calls for House committees to investigate the Manhattan DA.

“I have not talked to the president, maybe three weeks? No, I have not talked to him about the investigation at all,” McCarthy said.
At times, McCarthy seemed to grow frustrated that, at the House issues retreat, he’s being asked repeatedly about Trump amid potential charges, blaming the press who he claims keeps bringing up the former president.
