It is bizarre and a pretty big mistake to make considering this is a potential large scale invasion and everyone is on edge.”

Chapter Five: The Manhattan Declaration
“She’s pregnant!” Clive told Victoria across the cold glass that covered his families ancient mahogany desk where the fate of world’s shipping was mapped out in secret trade agreements. Everything was Insured.
“Who’s pregnant?” Victoria asked, and tried to oppress the hot blood that rushed to her brain.
“Miriam.” Clive said, and studied Victoria’s reaction.
“She’s….with child? She told me she was a virgin. I am a virgin. That was our seal, our bond. How do you know? Did she tell you?”
“Breath! Take three deep breaths – and think calm thoughts. Your face is turning red. You need to meditate!”
“I need to meditate?” Victoria was fighting off a torrent of Christian Shame. She had used logic to dismiss the truth that she was having a Lesbian relationship, but, the idea that her lover got pregnant, filled her soul, her brain, with the idea she had done something – very bad – as if she knocked-up her beloved Starfish.
How she acquired Catholic Sin in the bowels of the College of Heraldry, must be due to all the mottos she read on the Coat of Arms, and, the religious notes she had to carefully study in cases of Crusader Knighthood. There were many who belonged to orders that sprang from Jerusalem. There was images of baby Jesus in a manger. All this sin and shame!
“How did you find out Starfish is pregnant? Victoria was glaring at Clive.
“Please! Sit back down. Take three deep breaths. Our toilets test all BAD women, automatically, when you use them.”
“You mean……you chemically analyze our urine – in the toilet? Do you test for drugs, too? Do you take pictures of us?’
“Yes – breath!”
Victoria slid out of the chair in a dead faint. Her chin his the glass top and put a crack in it. When she came to, she was on the greatest leather sofa ever made. A antiseptic sheet was put on it. Victoria heard the sound of the last staple put in her chin. Her wound required three staples. The BAD doctor wiped away the blood that had rolled down her neck and stained the sheet. Victoria tried to wipe away the vision of a grown man pissing in a BAD toilet with his…….She had never seen a penis!
“Are the men at BAD tested? Do you have photos of them relieving themselves on file!” asked Victoria, she sounding like a moron due to her lower jaw being numb. Reaching with her hand, she swore when she felt the big white bandage.
“Fuck! I had planned to go shopping while in London! I can’t be seen like this!”

“Fuck you! Give me something to throw. It must be spendy. Couldn’t you have ordered a bouquet of flowers and put them on the desk, when you told me the fucking blessed good news. I love Miriam, you rotten bastards! I feel so defiled! I want my tinkling pics – now! And Miriam’s! How dare you! Is nothing sacred?”
“We do not capture you while tinkling, but when you turn on the faucet to wash your hands. This flushes the toilet. Haven’t you noticed the delay?”
‘Why do you do this?” Victoria asked, then, took three quiet breaths. “Washing ones hands is a very sacred practice – you creeps! When we use public toilets we spread the message we are not spreading germs. You have dirtied – us! We love our mirrors you place a camera behind. We give our best look. Why!”
“When women have an unexpected pregnancy, they become very vulnerable – to our enemy. Most women believe it is their right to privately summon their higher power to deal with – the big surprise! Many women have no higher power, and fall back on the myth of pure logic – that does not exist! Everyone in Western Culture is subjected to a Shame-base, Christian morality. It comes with the total package. There exist a very intrusive ambitious Abortion Cult that swoops down on vulnerable women in high places. Have you heard of Charles Colson?”
“Do you mean, Chuck Colson, of Watergate fame?”

Today, we crossed the Rubicon. There is no turning back. President Trump sent the Speaker of the House an extremely demonizing letter – with eagle seal – that invoked the name of my Puritan ancestors. Nancy tore it up.
If I were a young man, again, I would want to marry all the beautiful women in the Russian beauty contest. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is angrily objecting to the House of Representatives’ articles of impeachment, accusing Democrats of “perversion of justice and abuse of power” in their effort to remove him from office.
In a fiery letter Tuesday to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the eve of his expected impeachment, Trump maintained that he did nothing wrong in seeking foreign investigation of political rivals, and he attacked Democrats for focusing on impeachment rather than other issues.
Trump also repeated his objections to the process of the House inquiry, claiming “more due process was afforded to those accused in the Salem Witch Trials.”
Trump says he doesn’t believe his letter will change anything, but that he is registering his objections “for the purpose of history.”
Meanwhile at the Capitol, House Democrats and Republicans sparred over the rules of debate for Wednesday’s historic votes on impeaching Trump, dispatching the lofty rhetoric of constitutional duty for the rugged politics of the House action and Senate trial that is expected to follow.
Trump administration officials are taking steps to stabilize the U.S. relationship with Ukraine amid an impeachment inquiry that has badly damaged ties between the two countries.
The Manhattan Declaration: A Call of Christian Conscience is a manifesto issued by Orthodox, Catholic, and Evangelical Christian leaders[1][2][3] to affirm support of “the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and religious liberty“.[4] It was drafted on October 20, 2009, and released November 20, 2009, having been signed by more than 150 American religious leaders.[5] On the issue of marriage, the declaration objects not only to same-sex marriage but also to the general erosion of the “marriage culture” with the specter of divorce, greater acceptance of infidelity and the uncoupling of marriage from childbearing.[6]
The Declaration’s website encourages supporters to sign the declaration, and it counts 551,130 signatures as of July 18, 2015[update].[7]

In August 2012, the Manhattan Declaration’s call to “civil disobedience” was cited in a lawsuit under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, in which the Beachy Amish-Mennonite Christian Brotherhood is accused of helping a Baptist woman kidnap to Nicaragua her daughter as part of a child custody dispute with her former lesbian partner.[11] Liberty University School of Law was also a named defendant in the lawsuit, because of alleged instruction to law students that “the correct course of action for such a situation would be to ‘engage in civil disobedience’ and defy court orders”.[11]

Criticism[edit]
Some religious leaders have criticized and protested the Manhattan Declaration, calling its principles in general, and its opposition to same-sex marriage in particular, contrary to the teachings of Jesus.[15][16][17] Catholic scholar Anthony Stevens-Arroyo wrote, “While two wars are being waged, with unemployment in double digits, the financial system of the world in suspense, these religious leaders declare that abortion, stem-cell use and same sex marriage override any other Gospel value. (You won’t find Jesus saying anything about abortion or stem cells in the Gospel, but the Savior said a great deal about the homeless, the sick, and the hungry.) It’s cheating to speak pious platitudes about Christianity and ignore Jesus’ words.”[18]
Some discussed the document as a political strategy, regarding it as the religious right’s effort to re-establish its relevance in the public square,[19][20] but others noted that younger generations of evangelicals and Catholics were less likely to oppose same-sex marriage and more likely to prioritize economic issues over social, and that the document was thus unlikely to win them over.[20][21] Stevens-Arroyo criticized fellow Catholics who signed the declaration for aligning themselves with evangelicals in what he described as opposition to the separation of church and state.[22]
The declaration’s invocation of Martin Luther King and of the principles of civil disobedience has also been questioned.[23][24] An editorial in the Los Angeles Times characterized the invocation of King as “specious” and criticized the document, belittling the “anecdotes” regarding restrictions on Christians’ religious freedom as “of the sort radio talk-show hosts purvey” or from outside the United States, and noting that federal law already exempts “believers in some cases from having to comply with applicable laws.”[25]

In response to a petition which argued the Manhattan Declaration app promoted bigotry and homophobia, which received 7,000 signatures, Apple removed the app from iPhones and iPads, in November 2010, and later from iTunes.[26][27] Apple told CNN that the app had been removed because it “violates our developer guidelines by being offensive to large groups of people”.[27] The app had originally been rated by Apple as a +4, meaning that it contained no material deemed objectionable.[26][27]
A month later, organizers of the Manhattan Declaration resubmitted a modified version of the app.[28] The new version lacks a “quiz”, which, in the old version, had asked questions about political issues and assigned a score based on a set of normative answers.[29] As of December 10, 2010, more than 45,000 had signed a petition to have it reinstated.[28] Charles Colson voiced apprehension that Apple’s move could have negative implications for more Christian apps, stating: “There is nothing in the Manhattan Declaration that is not rooted in Scripture. So if that becomes the offense then all the other apps would be subject to the same charge.”[28][30]

The next one might be even tougher as a recall effort appears to be gaining momentum, fueled partly by outrage over the first-term Democrat dining with friends at an opulent restaurant while telling state residents to spurn social gatherings and stay home.

Photos of the dinner – a birthday party for a Newsom confidante who also is a lobbyist – emerged showing the governor without a mask at a time when he was imploring people not to socialize with friends and wear a face covering when going out and around others.
Recall organizers say they have collected more than half the nearly 1.5 million petition signatures needed to place the recall on the ballot, and they have until mid-March to hit the required threshold.

OAKLAND, Calif. — The California activist movement to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom just got a national shot in the arm from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, two former Republican leaders who still have large conservative followings.
The bid remains a long shot in a state where Democratic President-elect Joe Biden won 63.5 percent of the vote and Republicans have no statewide officeholders. “The ‘blue wave’ that the left-wing media spent months talking about disappeared in California,” Gingrich said Friday in a statement to POLITICO, referring to Republicans taking back four House seats Democrats won in 2018. “This is a direct result of Gavin Newsom’s destructive leadership that has crippled small businesses and sent billions of dollars of California COVID-19 jobless benefits to criminals across the nation.”
Gingrich nodded to Newsom’s stay-home orders, which now apply to most residents, and recent findings by county prosecutors that crime rings have worked with California inmates to draw hundreds of millions in unemployment benefits.
The Gingrich endorsement was touted by California conservative recall backers as a major breakthrough that will boost fundraising, volunteerism and exposure for their recall effort. California signature efforts almost always rely on millions of dollars to reach voters in a state of 40 million residents.
“Newt Gingrich’s endorsement will bring us into the national spotlight,’’ Rescue California Chair Tom Del Beccaro, a leading proponent of the recall movement, told POLITICO. “He’s all in: he will support us through social media, with donor phone calls, zoom meetings and fundraising emails.’’
Gingrich’s support came a day after Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, now a radio talk show host, tweeted his endorsement of the California recall to his 1.7 million followers.
“California’s liberal elite send their kids to private school & dine out while lecturing YOU about danger of leaving your home,’’ he said. “Governor Newsom’s shutdown holds families hostage. It’s time to go @GavinNewsom, I’m backing the recall,” he said, while including a link to the recall drive’s fundraising page.
Fox News has continued airing stories about Newsom and California, both a favorite foil of conservatives, who oppose lockdowns and have taken pleasure in accusing the governor of hypocrisy for his French Laundry dinner. While Newsom did not necessarily break rules by attending the dinner, his attendance came as he and the state discouraged residents from gathering with people from other households.
Newsom campaign spokesperson Dan Newman emphasized the effort was backed by supporters of President Donald Trump, who is unpopular in deep blue California.
“Interesting timing at same moment the Supreme Court rejects Trump’s last ditch effort to overturn an election. Trump, Gingrich, Faulconer, and Cox are embracing the same playbook, the same refusal to play by the rules,” Newman said in a statement, referring to former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and former GOP gubernatorial candidate John Cox, both of whom are considering a run for California’s top office.
“These anti-vaccine pro-Trump extremists would rather create an expensive sideshow instead of working together to distribute the vaccine and restart our economy,” Newman added.
Tom Del Becarro, who is working in conjunction with another recall leader, Orrin Heatlie, said that after six failed attempts to recall Newsom, the efforts are catching on nationally because the Democratic governor’s actions have hurt businesses and taxpayers. “Half of the nation’s homeless population is California — everyone is paying for this,” he said.
Federal data shows that nearly 27 percent of the nation’s homeless population was in California as of January 2019, while the state has roughly 12 percent of the nation’s population.
A Sacramento Superior Court judge last month gave recall backers until March to collect the needed 1,495,709 verified signatures. That number represents 12 percent of the vote for governor in 2018, the minimum required by law. Backers claim to have 5,000 volunteer petition circulators and are also collecting signatures online.
The campaign has now submitted 297,567 signatures, the secretary of state reported Thursday. That is well over the 10 percent threshold necessary to trigger signature verification in counties.
The California Republican Party has already officially endorsed the movement, as have half a dozen key GOP party leaders in the state. Among them are Don Wagner, an Orange County supervisor and lead proponent for OpenCalNow, a group fighting Newsom’s pandemic closures; former California GOP chair Tirso del Junco; former GOP chair Frank Visco; and Mike Antonovich, former Los Angeles County supervisor and a former California GOP chair.
