The U.S. Department of Treasury announced new sanctions Thursday against two illegal outposts in the occupied West Bank that were used as a base for attacks by extremist Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians, three U.S. officials told Axios.

A Spanish ship carrying desperately needed food supplies has left Cyprus for Gaza, but the UN says this cannot replace the delivery of aid by land.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has meanwhile vowed to press on with an offensive in southern Gaza.

The quickest, most effective way to get aid into the territory is by road, but aid agencies say Israeli restrictions mean a fraction of what is needed is getting in.
Attention has instead shifted towards alternative routes including sea and air drops.
On Tuesday, a UN World Food Programme convoy used a land route to deliver aid to northern Gaza for the first time in three weeks.
The trucks used an Israeli military road running along Gaza’s border fence, Jamie McGoldrick, UN aid coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, told Reuters.
Enough food for 25,000 people was delivered to Gaza City, with WFP spokesperson Shaza Moghraby saying they were hoping to “scale up” deliveries, but “need access to be regular and consistent”.
Israel says it is not to blame for Gaza’s food shortages as it is allowing aid through two crossings in the south.
But addressing the UN Security Council in New York on Tuesday, Mr Borrell said the humanitarian crisis in the territory was as a result of a lack of viable land routes.
“We are now facing a population fighting for their own survival,” he said.
“Humanitarian assistance needs to get into Gaza, and the European Union is working as much as we can in order to make it possible.
“[The humanitarian crisis is] manmade and when we look for alternative ways of providing support by sea, by air, we have to remind [ourselves] that we have to do it because the natural way of providing support through roads is being… artificially closed.
“Starvation is being used as a war arm and when we condemned this happening in Ukraine, we have to use the same words for what is happening in Gaza.”

His comments come after the UN warned at least 576,000 people in Gaza – one quarter of the population – were one step away from famine.
The territory’s Hamas-run health ministry says at least 27 people, many of them children, have died as a result of malnutrition and dehydration at hospitals there in the last two weeks.

While it is at sea, Palestinians working for World Central Kitchen (WCK) will continue building a jetty at an undisclosed location on Gaza’s coast, which will be used to offload the aid.
A US military ship, General Frank S Besson, is also sailing towards the Middle East carrying equipment to build a temporary pier, which WCK says is unrelated to its own project.
Israel has welcomed the creation of the maritime corridor and said it was facilitating the transfer of aid to Gaza while its forces continued to fight Hamas.
Mr Netanyahu reiterated on Tuesday that Israel would press ahead with its military campaign into Rafah, Gaza’s most southerly city located near the border with Egypt.
“We will finish the job in Rafah while enabling the civilian population to get out of harm’s way,” he said in a video address to a conference of the pro-Israel Aipac organisation in Washington on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the UK’s Foreign Secretary, Lord Cameron, has urged Israel to open the major port of Ashdod – one of the country’s three main cargo ports located just south of Tel Aviv – to seaborne aid deliveries destined for Gaza.
The war in Gaza began when Hamas gunmen attacked southern Israel on 7 October, killing about 1,200 people and seizing 253 hostages.
More than 31,180 people have been killed in Gaza since then, the Hamas-run health ministry there says.
Weeks of talks involving US, Qatari and Egyptian mediators have failed to bring about a ceasefire or hostage exchange deal.

On August 1st. I had a conversation with my friend, Xander Klaus Vasilyev, about Sofia Vasilyevna Kovalevskaya whom Thomas Pynchons character Yashmeen Halfcourt is based upon. I have gone fishing with Xander who was a neighbor of my friend, Mark Gall. Xander’s father makes a living as a mathematician. He is a Jew who fled Russia. I asked Xander if he was kin to Sofia, and got this answer.

After our first conversation, Xander changes his FB pic from the one I took of him while we fished on the McKenzie, to the flag of Cascadia. I was blown away because I had been discussing Baja-Israel with Jim Sinclair of Sinclair clan. I was, and am cautious about associating Xander with this idea, but, because of the Exodus of the Yazidi, there is a truly prophetic conversation here. Once again I had him do a equation he did for me many years ago regarding the Sage and his reward, grains of rice on a chessboard. Ron told me the reward would cover the whole world in six inches of rice. He did this math in his head while we were on the phone. It took him about three minutes.
It appears Thomas Pynchon wanted to become a Math Wizard so he could own a mind like Ron’s so he could solve some problems in his rocket cosmology. It is astounding that his novels lead to the Baja-Israel conversation, that might lead to a alternative state of Israel, where employing ones mental gifts, verses military angst, takes the whole world to a new land and mental horizon. With the crisis of Yazidi, the world is thinking out of the box. Where shall these people go?

Against the Day, a 2006 novel by Thomas Pynchon was speculated before release to be based on the life of Sofia, but in the finished novel she appears as a minor character.
Naumann, who said he assisted Pynchon in researching “a Russian mathematician [who] studied for David Hilbert in Göttingen”, and that the new novel would trace the life and loves of mathematician and academic Sofia Kovalevskaya. Kovalevskaya briefly appears in the book, but Pynchon may have partly modeled the major character Yashmeen Halfcourt after her.

Nationalism, one of the strongest forces at large in the world during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and often carrying racist overtones, caught Europe’s Jews in an ugly predicament. On the one hand they found themselves the victims of a new and particularly virulent brand of anti-semitism, while on the other hand they had no nation of their own to which they could turn for sanctuary. This dilemma, plus the growth of their own nationalistic sentiment, resulted during the late 1890s in the birth of the Zionist movement. The movement was aimed at colonizing Jews in their ancient homeland of Palestine, where it was hoped they would eventually constitute a majority and obtain the protection of public law and at least a measure of political autonomy. But there was a question in the minds of some Zionists as to whether or not this goal was feasible with regard to Palestine (then under Turkish rule), and a difference of opinion on this point led to a split in the movement and to the birth, in 1905, of the Territorialist faction. While the main body of Zionists insisted that only Palestine could provide a true Jewish homeland, the Territorialists argued that a more important and pressing consideration was that some suitable place in the world be found. According to Dr. Stern, though it has never appeared in Zionist histories, “Evidence now at hand indicates that the first area which the Territorialists considered was Baja California.”
Stern’s book actually treats several related but somewhat different topics. The first chapter, which covers a period from 1891 to 1905, deals primarily with the interest shown in Baja California by Alta California Jews, especially as an area for settling refugees of the Russlan pogroms. The second chapter, which is as long as the other two combined, is concerned mainly with the lives of three of northern Baja California’s early jewish settlers: Luis Mendelson, Maximiliano Bernstein, and David Goldbaum. Mendelson arrived on the Peninsula in 1871 and the other two men during the 1880s, but each of them came on an individual basis, for strictly personal reasons, and not as part of any organized movement. The third chapter focuses on the interest shown in Baja California by the leadership (in London) of the Territorialist organization, and which occurred in late 1905 or early 1906. Though the leadership’s decision was negative and their interest short-lived, the subject continued to excite a few Alta California Territorialists for some years afterward. The chapter then concludes with Baja California once again under consideration as an area for settling Jewish refugees—this time the German-jewish refugees of the 1930s. But since the idea was announced before first being discussed with Mexican authorities, the latter gave it a decidedly cold reception, one of them referring to it as a “fantastic dream.”

I have restored the Judges of the Torah that I believe to have been chosen from those who took the Nazarite Vow. One of them, was Absalom, the alleged son of David. This is not correct. Absalom judged for forty years, and was hung by his hair in a tree, a lance thrust in his side. The Biblical usurpers were busy little liars. Absalom did not declare himself king because God forbid kings. This is why He anointed Judges. If there is any relation to David, he is his father. We Judges, have come out of our tombs to Judge the living.

For twenty-five years I’ve has a big problem….My liberal-leftist secular friends – turn off if they read the words “Jesus” “God”. Did they hear the silence on CNN and MSNBC today about our secular democracy merging with religious fanatics? You can’t talk about this, because you are going to appear anti-Christian, and, there go the swing voters over to the Republicans. Think swing voters – if you can! Then understand this….the Jews and the Christians do not follow the same God. No Israeli believes in Jesus, who many evangelicals believe – IS GOD – the God of the Jews. Christians and Jews are telling the world a BIG LIE in order to own more power over their enemies, which includes most Democrats.
I warned you! This will only get worse. The attack on the hungry and free press is coming. Why is this bad news? The fake press will be blamed for people losing their food stamps. The church will come to the rescue. Church basements will open their doors across America. Only ‘The Good News’ will be reported……………inside!
