The signal intelligence unit’s soldiers are prohibited from identifying themselves as such on social media, but it appears that this rule is flouted on LinkedIn. Many of them make LinkedIn profiles before they are even discharged, specifying the name of the unit and their own position, preparing themselves for the day after – when they turn overnight from soldiers to highly sought-after employees at startups and tech juggernauts. Overall, there are several hundred profiles on LinkedIn by users identifying themselves as 8200 personnel.
Another profile, by a soldier-student alumnus of 8200 who was recently discharged following over five years of service, noted that he headed an R&D team of seven engineers, specified methodologies he integrated in said team, and more.

She says that “Everybody does it. That’s how you get a situation where these soldiers haven’t been discharged yet, and already have five or six offers.” Segev adds that the main demand for the unit’s alumni comes from cyber firms, and specifically for positions in development and analysis.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in response: “Those serving in 8200 are instructed not to reveal their organizational association or role in the unit on social media. As part of the effort in this regard, debriefings and unit-wide inspections are held, and every violation is being handled by the chain of command.”
Of the Intelligence Corps’ tech units, 8200 is the largest and best-known. It began as a radio and wire interception unit, and over the years, it expanded its encryption and data security technology capabilities. A smaller unit, more tightly focused on technological innovation, is Unit 81, which provides specific services for special operations and other security forces. The IDF has a defensive cyber unit as well.
A former officer in one of these units recently told TheMarker that “The tech units have become a showcase.” He stressed that soldiers who know they are being observed from the private sector might change their behavior, and want to maintain a good relationship with their fellow soldiers and commanders, “including due to thoughts of the startup the friend or commander might launch the day after [they are discharged]. The business world is in the consciousness of these units. That’s something that doesn’t exist in other units in the military.”
Many companies are made up of former 8200 personnel, and some of the unit’s former top commanders are senior figures in the world of Israeli venture capital. Tech unit alumni command impressive starting wages in the private sector – 30,000 to 60,000 shekels (about $9,750 to about $19,500) per month, according to market estimates. The median household income in Tel Aviv, for comparison, is 16,000 shekels (about $5,200).
As the IDF cannot compete with the wages offered by the private sector, in some cases, entire 8200 teams go on after discharge to work for startups or companies formed by their commanders. The recruiting in these firms is often done by friends bringing one another onboard. Tech units also have non-profit organizations to maintain networking contacts and locate jobs.
“The feeling of ‘end of an era’ and thoughts about the next step push [soldiers] approaching discharge to do things such as publishing data on social media, or giving information to third parties like placement agencies, when you don’t know if their data is secured,” says Demi Ben-Ari, co-founder and chief technology officer at cyber firm Panorays.
“In the recruiting process in our company, we don’t pounce on candidates like that,” he says. “Instead, we connect soldiers ahead of discharge with various cyber firms – even ones that compete with us directly for talent. We contact units like 8200 and 81, and offer them a tour of the companies’ offices, within the military’s framework. That’s how you make connections safely.”

Because Mark was their favorite, my parents dare not buy me art supplies and other craft material. Do you see why? That’s Dark Mark the lil Momma’s Boy. He did not want me and Christine’s funeral, but, Vicki got him to change his mind. He did not call me to tell me Rosemary and Vicki were dead. He does not want me to know – if he is dead! He was delighted when my daughter disappeared. He helped Stacey and Jacci – convert my gifts and light. !
Christine was not a writer. She did not feel like a real artist. Royal Rosamond established a Literary Legacy that belonged to all members of my natal family, and thus the law firm of Morris and Buck had no right to sell this legacy to outsiders – without the agreement of all members of my family! Sadly, Rosemary formed no bond with her eldest daughter, who was always by my side. I raised and nourished Christine. She gave me full credit for her success as an artist. She watched everything I did.

Former finance minister Israel Katz, who was in the cabinet during the most recent conflict with Gaza last month, said that after that operation, “we decided to change the rules.”

How come we have not seen these videos of late? The eighty-five year old released prisoner complains about the IDF not heeding their warnings. She said Hamas released fire balloons. Did these Alarm Towers detect them – and video them? Does Hamas have SATALITES and DRONES? Did Israel attack these towers – and blame Hamas?
Why didn’t Hamas – and Israel – record Hamas fighters coming across the border. There was a tank blown up. Why not film a aerial propaganda video of that – and the bulldozer. Hamas fighters launched coordinated attacks on at least four communications towers close to the Gaza border in the initial phase of their cross-border assault on Israel — the most sophisticated operation yet to disrupt the infrastructure in the area.
The attacks occurred within a few hours Saturday morning, alongside strikes on observation towers, according to a New York Times analysis of propaganda videos and satellite images.
Footage posted online on Saturday by the Al Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, showed a quadcopter drone hovering near a communications tower before it dropped an improvised explosive munition on generators at the base of the tower. The video also showed heavy smoke billowing from the area in the apparent aftermath of the attack. The sun is just rising over the horizon in the video, indicating the tower was struck shortly after Hamas began firing rockets at Israel.

A breach in the border fence is visible in the video, about a thousand feet from the communications tower. The tower is two-and-a-half miles west of the Be’eri kibbutz, near the northern end of Gaza, where Hamas fighters massacred more than 100 Israelis and took others as hostages on Saturday.
The other three towers — which are spaced between one and three miles apart along Israel’s border with Gaza — are seen smoking in satellite imagery captured at 11:31 a.m. on Saturday, several hours after Hamas’s attack on Israel began. It is unclear whether drones or some other weapon caused the damage.
From satellite imagery, all four of the communications towers look similar. But they could be used for different purposes, said Michael Armstrong, an associate professor of operations research at Brock University in Canada and an expert in military strategy.
Some may be for border surveillance, while others could be involved in the transmitting and receiving of data, such as military communications, he said.
The tower in the Qassam footage may be used for collecting intelligence as well as for facilitating cellular service, according to a former U.S. defense official who reviewed the video and spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss Israel’s surveillance capabilities. The former official added that the height of the towers, and their proximity to the border, indicates that they are used to monitor Gazans.
Mr. Armstrong said Hamas most likely targeted these towers to “blind Israeli commanders and prevent communication among their units.” He added that the munitions used would not need to be complex — they would just need to create shrapnel that could damage infrastructure like antennas, cameras and cables.
The attacks also included multiple strikes on Israeli observation towers used for visual surveillance along the border. The impact of the attacks on the towers’ functionality is not yet known.

In another video shared by Al Qassam, the same improvised munition delivered by drone near the Be’eri kibbutz was used to blow up a machine gun turret on one of the Israeli Defense Forces’ observation posts along the border.
Hamas has tried low-tech methods of attacking communications towers in the past — in 2018, a tower was targeted with a flaming kite in the Gaza Strip — but Mr. Armstrong said the attacks on Saturday were its first successful deployment of armed drones that he had seen.

Victoria Bond and Miriam Starfish were conducting their morning briefing. It was Victoria’s idea to have breakfast together in order to stuff as much knowledge into their day as possible. Scientists want to launch a rocket with a bomb and blow up the outer body.
In “Rosatom” scientists from the Institute of laser physical research of RFNC-VNIIEF said that creating a system to protect the Earth from potentially dangerous meteorites that are similar to Tunguska.
Deputy Director Vladimir Rogachev said that researchers will locate, classify and monitor dangerous space body. In addition, the researchers will create a special meteor bombs.
Rogachev believes that the subject of meteorites can be a global international problem, but scientists stops as always policy. If you delay, then in the case of approximation to the Ground meteorite, it will be too late to prevent it.
Scientists believe that a meteorite with a diameter of 200 meters, the rocket with the bomb you need to run for a month. There were signed two deals on the construction of 4 new units – two at the greenfield site of Xudabao and two at Tianwan (units 7 and 8). Third deal envisages the supply of equipment, fuel, and services for the CNNC-developed CFR-600 fast reactor pilot project.
Finally, was signed a deal for the supply of radionuclide heat units (UHR) used as parts of radioisotope thermoelectric generators to power equipment in China’s space programme, for use in lunar exploration in particular.

The Eternal Feminine The concluding chapter in the English edition of the Rose of the World concerns the spiritual meaning of femininity. What Andreev calls the Universal Feminine or the Eternal Feminine is an essential aspect of God that seeks expression. In Christianity, it appears in the form of the Mother Church, the Madonna, the Mother of God and as Sophia. Andreev experiences the Eternal Feminine as a universal spiritual reality that is inadequately expressed in these images. It is interesting that after presenting a startling vision of metaphysical realities, he states he finds it particularly difficult to discuss the idea of the Eternal Feminine within the context of Christian theology.

As a mystic in Soviet Russia, he was faced with the great challenge of communicating his vision to others. He was refused entry to University due to the non-proletarian character of his father, Leonid Andreev, a famous writer. Daniel Andreev found work as a graphic artist. He studied history and literature and wrote at night. He formed a small circle of friends with whom he could share his work.
He was arrested in 1947 for reading his work to his circle of friends. Accused of anti-Soviet activities, he was sentenced to twenty five years in prison. His wife, Alla Andreeva, was sentenced to a labor camp. Andreev’s writings were destroyed. Alla Andreeva and Daniel Andreev, 1959
While in prison, Andreev wrote the first drafts of the Rose of the World, as well as Russian Gods, a collection of poetry, and the Iron Mystery, a verse play. Andreev’s case was reviewed under Khrushchev, and his sentence was shortened to ten years. He was released in 1957, but having suffered a heart attack in 1954 his health was broken. It is remarkable, and indeed providential, that his works were not confiscated during his term in prison and that Alla Andreeva was able to get the manuscripts out of prison on his release.
Daniel Andreev died in 1959, having completed the Rose of the World in 1958. Alla Andreeva kept the manuscript hidden until Gorbachev’s time. Excerpts of the Russian text, Roza Mira, were published in the major literary magazine Novy Mir in 1989. The full text was published by Urania press in 1991, and the first edition of 100,000 copies quickly sold out.
The English edition of Roza Mira was published by Lindisfarne press as the Rose of the World. The English edition presents about three fifths of the Russian text, excluding sections of the book dealing with Russian history that are less relevant to anglophone readers.
The Rose of the World Context and Terminology Andreev is one of the great spiritual or apocalyptic visionaries, comparable to Dante, Swedenborg, and Rudolf Steiner. He is part of the same Sophianic tradition as Solovyov. For Andreev, the physical Earth we inhabit is one plane within a complex hierarchy of planes, some of darkness and some of light, which together make up the full metaphysical reality of the Earth. His book, the Rose of the World, is a guide to this metaphysical reality. His understanding of metaphysical reality is consistent with the universal vision of the Sophia Perennis. Each person is ultimately a pure spiritual being, a monad, created by Dea and existing eternally completely untouched by evil. In descending into the worlds of creation, the monad puts on bodies or garments of progressively more material form, and in doing so becomes subject to good and evil. Evil is understood in Luciferian terms as originating in the cosmic rebellion of some created beings against Dea.
In presenting his vision, Andreev introduces a range of new terms, received in his visions, to describe these realities. He provides names for the types of planes, for specific planes and for the beings active on those planes. Much of his imagery is quite specific and his vision of the planes of darkness are shocking. He leaves the sympathetic reader with no doubt about the reality of metaphysical evil. We may be hesitant to take Andreev’s vision literally, although some of his imagery correspond to visions of the ethereal planes found in the literature on the near-death experience as well as traditional imagery. In addition to his visions of planes of light and darkness, he also reports blissful experiences of communion with the spiritual or elemental beings active in nature during camping trips with friends in the Russian countryside in the 1930s.
In his commentary Andreev is a man of his times. He reflects progressive Russian thinking of his day. His political and cultural views can be considered his own.
Some of the key terms in his text include:
Bramfatura: A system of connected planes of reality that together encompass a planetary reality. Bramfaturas also exist at other scales of reality, including the atomic level. The Bramfatura of Earth is called Shadanakar.
Enrof: The cosmic plane of physical reality. Enrof corresponds to the universe of physical science.
The Pit: The lowest level of the planes of darkness within Shadanakar. The Earthly Pit is connected to the Galactic Pit at Antares.
Sakwala: Two or more planes within a Bramfatura that are closely connected and influence each other.
Zatomis: The highest planes or heavens of human meta-cultures. The abode of the creative beings guiding cultural development through meta-history. Andreev identifies thirty four Zatomis.
Synclite: The communion of enlightened souls within a Zatomis. The world Synclites are active in meta-history.
The Vision of the Rose of the World Andreev’s Rose of the World is a spiritual reality that is promised to manifest as a historical reality. The spiritual reality is the descent into the world Bramfatura of a cosmic being called Zventa-Sventana, the Holy of Holies. Zventa-Sventana is an expression of the Eternal Feminine and She can readily be identified as Sophia. The descent of Zventa-Sventana into the highest planes of Shadanakar began to manifest in history approximately 150 years ago. She is destined to descend into the Zatomis of one meta-culture. Andreev identifies the Slavonic Zatomis as her abode, but recognizes this is not fixed.

The planetary Logos is the Christ, the expression of the Divine Logos. Zventa-Sventana is the Bride of Christ, the expression of the Divine Feminine. This is the nuptial image of the New Jerusalem descending as the Bride of the Logos from the Revelation of St John. Her descent however is not the end of history, but in a sense the beginning of the end. The Rose of the World is a preparation for the end of the current world age, which will require the separation of the world from the powers of metaphysical evil.
Andreev’s vision corresponds to Rudolf Steiner’s vision of the seven stages of the current world era. In Steiner’s vision, the current age, dominated by the Germanic peoples and western culture, will be succeeded by a sixth age, led by the Slavonic peoples. The sixth age will be a time of great spiritual development, preceeding the struggles against metaphysical evil in the seventh age of the present world era.
The realization of the Rose of the World will require the work of many people ascending to the state of sancity. Andreev understands sanctity as a state in which a person is in communion with the world of spirit. The sanctified person is open to the love and wisdom of Dea in heart, reason and conscience, and expresses that love and wisdom in all facets of life. Sanctity is the highest state of moral development. Sanctity can be reached by the narrow path of asceticism, but also, and primarily, by the broad path of devotion and loving service.
The Eternal Feminine The concluding chapter in the English edition of the Rose of the World concerns the spiritual meaning of femininity. What Andreev calls the Universal Feminine or the Eternal Feminine is an essential aspect of God that seeks expression. In Christianity, it appears in the form of the Mother Church, the Madonna, the Mother of God and as Sophia. Andreev experiences the Eternal Feminine as a universal spiritual reality that is inadequately expressed in these images. It is interesting that after presenting a startling vision of metaphysical realities, he states he finds it particularly difficult to discuss the idea of the Eternal Feminine within the context of Christian theology.
The Universal Feminine has its images within the metaphysical structures of the Bramfatura in which Andreev sees the earth as resting. The spiritual beings that are realized on earth as states are primarily demonic, while the collective souls of nations are feminine. The leading collective souls of nations are called the Great Sisters, and are themselves God-Born rather than created monads.. The angelic guardians and guides of the metacultures of the world he calls the demiurges. Above the planes on which reside the Great Sisters and the demiurges, are a group of feminine planes, a sakwala, that Andreev tentatively calls the Waves of Universal Femininity. One of these regions is called Limnarna, the feminine Synclite of humanity, while the second, Bayushmi, is the present abode of Zventa-Sventana. He names three other planes or regions within this Sakwala.
Andreev defends the distinctness of the feminine nature in human culture, as reflecting Divine reality, against the modernist tendency to treat men and women as interchangeable or as interchangeable if women aren’t oppressed. He also defends the primacy of feminine nature over the masculine. The masculine nature in humanity is seen as out of control, manifesting in terms of violence, heartlessness and egoism, with disastrous consequences for humanity. The Rose of the World is envisioned in the development of the feminine nature in humanity: abhorrence for cruelty and violence, the expression of tenderness and love, the central concern for children, and the love of the beautiful. Women will assume positions of leadership, inspiration and wisdom. The current patriarchal order will be, at least partially, transformed under this empowered feminine influence in the Rose of the World.
The EBRD is advancing an eight-year “A” loan of $55 million for this project while a five-year “B” loan of $32 million has been syndicated to Italy’s Unicredit group. The EBRD will remain the lender of record for the full amount of $87 million.
The borrower, ZAO UgraGasProcessing, is fully-owned by OOO Monolit, the only independent Russian company employing new technologies to provide economically viable solutions for using associated gas. Monolit is, in turn, part of Roza Mira, a medium-sized independent Russian group trading oil products.
Part of the EBRD funding will finance the construction of a gas processing plant on the Zapadnoe-Salymskoe oil and gas field, jointly controlled by Royal Dutch Shell and Russia’s state-owned OAO Gazpromneft. The Salym field will deliver associated gas. In exchange, Monolit will supply Dry Stripped Gas for an existing gas turbine power plant. The rest of the EBRD loan will fund a 44 MW gas piston power plant to be built at the Nizhne-Shapinskoe field. This will use Dry Stripped Gas produced by the gas processing plant in the Salym field pumped through a pipeline which will connect the two oilfields. Nizhne-Shapshinskoe field will also supply associated gas to the project.
The energy thus produced will be supplied under long-term off-take contracts to the production facilities of both Salym Petroleum and of Russneft, a private Russian oil group which operates the Nizhne-Shapinskoe field. The liquid petroleum gas will be off-taken by Roza Mira.
EBRD is assisting Monolit in the possibility of monetising the carbon credits generated by this project via the Joint Implementation (JI) mechanism under the Kyoto Protocol.
