Big Butted Macho Latino Pussy-Power

Being an old hippie, I have seen how imagery was used – for the cause! What I saw on the fifty yard line was a Racist Comedy. I was reminded of ‘Springtime For Hitller’, This Virile Latin Female Show, would flop on Broadway, and that would be good if you sold %1000 percent shares in it. Some friends on facebook say this show was an attack on the Christian-right who back Trump. I think I will leave this one for the creators of South Park, who will get their kids in the cages meant for the Freed Super Bowl Kids, and end up in a volcanic eruption in Puerto Rico.

Definition of virile

1a : having traditionally masculine traits especially to a marked degree
b : characteristic of or associated with men : masculine
2 : having the nature, properties, or qualities of an adult male specifically : capable of functioning as a male in copulation

At first, I did not know what this halftime show was about. Then I saw Mick Jaggers Tongue Thing, the grabbing of the crotch area, followed by the thrusting out of the Elvis Hip, with an invitation to…

“POUND ON THIS! EAT ME! FEEL MY BIG ELECTRICAL ERRECTION!”

I do not take drugs – anymore! What I was seeing was the birth of the True Female Penis – and not two She-Males! What I was not seeing is, Macho White Males. We did get a token white dude accompanying Lopez on GIANT DILDO GUITAR as she did ‘Kashmir’ by Led Zeppelin. Why is she doing this? Perhaps their Immigrant song would have been better?

Then Latino Children in cages are wheeled out on to a sport stage where simulated warfare is practiced by grown men – for a living! The message given is…..”Look what you did to OUR children!” The use of the word THE, would not have worked any better. “Look what you did!” are fighting words.  It is hard to take these famous women seriously after they ground their pussies at each other in several simulated sex acts. The Mother Goddes is powerful. She alone can bring about change. As long as she has brown skin, she is politically correct. The Goddess has taken over all matters of Social Justice. No man need apply. Go ahead and say something, and see what happens to you. We got people. We know who you are! We will get back at you for what you did to OUR children………….TRUMP!

I got on facebook as this TRANSFERENCE ended. I declared – these people are drumming up votes for Trump! Think “Swing Voter”. I saw no strapping sexy white dude, like Sean Connery. Lopez could have slithered up one of Sean’s hairy legs! A black artist accuses me of being racist. I tell him I am a artist and have a license to create symbols. “I see Moses and his rod, his Nehushtan! I see a snakepit of writhing sexy black bodies representing the Sexy Brown Collective that scares impotent white men, but, attracks the white female followers of the White Goddess. Then come the Crucifixion of Lopez on a pole! This is telling very conservative Latino grandmothers that the Catholic Church is full of shit. Here….let me take a squat on the virginal priests. How many millions of Latinos voted for Trump? You go girl, go get votes for the Ominpotent White God!

One article about this….SPECTACLE….counted brown noses in the Americas. There are 642 million Latinos outside the U.S. and 327 million – inside our borders! That’s a billion people. How many white people are there? How about white voters verses Latino – and Black voters?

What was unvieled in a arena, and broadcast all over the world, was the nightmare many white people have been told about, being, brown skin voters will soon outnumber them, and – and whites will be marginalized! I think this show took it further. These big-assed Latino singers announced White Folks will be – EXCLUDED! The Great Brown Noise – will overcome the world! Spanish Speakers – will rule! This is a wakeup for brown people to register to vote. This is also a call to White Voters to register. What I saw was a racist political campaign.

These issue were foisted on everyone at the Superbowl. Therefore, there should be no censoring of White People if they REACT negatively to the not so subtle messages – that don’t mean us any good! I for one did not hop out of my chair and do the Cha Cha! I was -turned off – as expected! My core values were threatened – SUCCESS!

Our chat on facebook was enlightening. We spoke our minds. I educated others about the Forty-Eighters. I reminded everyone that this was a bout football. We came to watch a football game, which is a form of War Games. I told them about my Prussian people teaching Latino people in Chile to march -before WW1. I suggested this march be used to counter the Killer Gangs in Mexico and Chicago, and well as opioid addiction in white counties. Let’s get men, and father and sons, in the Big Picture! We are supposed to be on the same team!

Shades of Ed Ray and the name change of Benton Hall. I’m afraid the Trumpire has been given a lot of ammunition for his State of the Union, a return to Sanity, and a right turn away from Socialism. I have seen this act before. The Democrats don’t have their shit together.

Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face
Stars fill my dream
I’m a traveler of both time and space
To be where I have been
Sit with elders of the gentle race
This world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait
All will be revealed

Talk in song in tongues of lilting grace
Sounds caress my ear
There are not a word I heard could I relate
Story was quite clear

The word macho has a long history in both Spain and Portugal as well as in Spanish and Portuguese languages. It was originally associated with the ideal societal role men were expected to play in their communities, most particularly, Iberian language-speaking societies and countries. Macho in Portuguese and Spanish is a strictly masculine term, derived from the Latin mascŭlus meaning male (today hombre or varón, c.f. Portuguese homem and now-obsolete for humans varão; macho and varão, in their most common sense, are used for males of non-human animal species). Machos in Iberian-descended cultures are expected to possess and display bravery, courage and strength as well as wisdom and leadership, and ser macho (literally, “to be a macho”) was an aspiration for all boys.

This was a halftime show split in half, almost at war with itself. For the first part, the great whirling Shakira kept low to the ground and close to the body. The 43-year-old Colombian phenom appeared on a platform but quickly descended to the level of her dancers, where tassels and hips swayed by gravity-bound logic: side to side, forward to back. Shakira’s wide-ranging pop, viewers were reminded, emphasizes folksy, storied, place-specific lineages such as cumbia, reggaeton, and Latin rock. It showcases tangible instruments: brass, violins, a guitar she shredded so theatrically that her orchestra answered with a snatch of Led Zeppelin. Red—fire and blood and sex—washed across her staging. It was a celebration of flash but not glitz, and of pulsation rather than pounding. You were welcome to shimmy along, if you could keep up.

A few years ago, the National Football League approached Jay-Z about performing at the Super Bowl halftime show. To perform “Run This Town,” he was asked if he would bring Rihanna and Kanye West, who appear on the track, along with him.

“Of course I would have,” Jay-Z said, “but I said, ‘No, you get me.’ That is not how you go about it, telling someone that they’re going to do the halftime show contingent on who they bring. I said forget it. It was a principle thing.”

Then, last year, the Super Bowl was in Atlanta, a global center of hip-hop — and the N.F.L. booked the pop rock band Maroon 5 as the headliner.

It certainly looked like the N.F.L. needed help. Robert K. Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots and the powerful chairman of the N.F. L.’s media committee, reached out to Jay-Z to discuss.

And they played politics. Emme and other children sang from glowing structures that resembled cages. On the flip side of the Puerto Rican flag—it was actually a feather coat swaddling J. Lo like paper grass around an Easter Egg—was the flag of the U.S., whose president has neglected and belittled its own territory in a moment of crisis. At the same time, J. Lo’s “Let’s Get Loud” intertwined with Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA,” which was sung by Emme. Solidarity, pride, and the notion that unity complements diversity: These themes were communicated less via slogans than as fundamentals of the show itself, baked into the sound and look and meta-narrative.

Last night, we witnessed history. Besides the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl after 50 years, the halftime show consisted of two incredible Latinas showing the world what we’re made of. Shakira and Jennifer Lopez brought the fiesta to America’s biggest night and proved Latin music isn’t going anywhere.

But after watching the most amazing display of talent from these two women, I can’t help but to feel annoyed that most of the news I read about the halftime show glosses over Shakira’s performance and focuses on J Lo, with one report even positioning Shakira as J Lo’s “opener.” And this is where the lack of diversity in newsrooms show.

I get that people in this country think J Lo is the bigger star and prioritize her since she was born in the US, is a multihyphenate phenomenon, and everything she does is simply amazing. But for Latinx, Shakira is more relevant musically, and you can’t talk about Latinx power in the halftime show without recognizing Shakira’s contributions and achievements in Latin music.

Shakira built her fanbase starting in Latin America and then crossing over to the US. If you think about it this way, there are 642 million people living in Latin America, while there are 327 million in the US, and while obviously not everyone is a fan, she definitely had more exposure before making it in the US. Not only that, Shakira was already selling out huge venues in the most important cities and taking part in major festivals.
