After the Oakland fire there is going to be a crackdown and closing of artists spaces that do not meet code, creating a cultural crisis all across America. This blog and my newspaper was founded to preserve the Bohemian way of life.
After my visit to Brownsville where I gave birth to my idea about a virtual city on the internet where folks could go cyber-shopping, I ran into Kate at my bank. She told me about Crowdfunding where folks make short films about their ideas. When I entered Ken Keasey Square where I met my Muse, I was shooting a movie. Two days after I met Belle I am reading the Botticelli poem I wrote about her at the Granary. Marilyn recalls this. Her husband, Kenny Reed, played jazz as poets read. Belle befriended Marilyn’s daughter, Nesha on Facebook after our falling out due to the Gamalan MUSic connection.
