How Did Christine Rosamond Die?

Here is a large photo of Rocky Point and the house my kindred were staying in on March 25 and 26, 1994. Use the bottom and side bar to move the image to the right until you see a house built into the rocks. Directly below that is a cove into the rock. Here is where allegedly Christine Rosamond and Drew Benton were swept into the sea.

http://www.californiacoastline.org/cgi-bin/image.cgi?image=200508596&mode=big&lastmode=sequential&flags=1&year=2005

Vicki says;

“nothing about the ocean, that day, would indicate we were in danger.” “It was a full moon weekend with lots ot tidal action. A friend told me that five other people were swept out to sea (from Califnornia North Coast) over the same period.”

Millions of people watched hurricane Sandy devistate New York and New Jersey due to a high tide with full moon. The moon and sun rose around the same time on March 26 at 6:00 AM. High tide was at 10:30 AM. The 911 call came at about 10:15 AM. A rescue person who lives nearby told me he awoke to see white caps as far as the eyes could see. Winds of 20 knots was called for from Point Pinos to Point Conception. This is about 25 miles an hour. Sea swell of 8 feet are predicted. The overnight temperature was 44 degrees. At 9:30 AM the wind-chill factor would have made it cold. Christine was wearing a light suede jacket with a t-shirt underneath. There was talk of renting fishing poles. Have you ever stood next to the water fishing – in a wind!

Below is a chart that shows wave and whitecaps at 20 knots. Vicki was in the Navy. She went out to sea. She was taught about tides.

In the photo we see the fence that Tom Syder mentions in his Book of Lies. He says Chritine, Drew, Vicki, and Shamus made there way to the ocean along this fence. If true, they all could see huge waves breaking on the rocks throwing plumes of water hight into the air – and carried with the wind. They all knew anyone who stood next to the sea, wouild get soaked. The cove where Chrstine sat down “on the final rock” where “She was facing her nightmare: she sat back down as if she had conquered those fears.”

Vicki said Christine sat with her back to the sea, and, Drew was about five feet next to her. If I was there I would sit facing the ocean so I could spot a large wave that might sweep my niece into the sea. Why isn’t this mother concerned for Drew’s safety?

Surely Shamus Dundon had some concerns, but, he is removed from the scene several times, he doing a varitey of things, each different from the last. When he used the word “windy” and blustery” I asked him to clarify, because other accounts said it was perfectly calm – at low tide!

The smart set go lookig for tide-pool creatures – at low tide. Shamus said he didn’t see any tide-pool creatures (which is one truth) so he went off looking for lizards. Why didn’t Drew join in the fun?

Shamus said he got hot doing this, he running from rock to rock; so he went up to the house to “cool down” he saying he was sweating alot (in a cold wind) and didn’t want to catch a cold due to it being cold and windy. He said, he only got warm after “jogging around”, but, then he said he was bundled up. Do you see any good jogging araea on these steep rocks full of iceplants with bolders underneath? Look how steep these rocks are. It is dangerous just to walk on them least run so fast you sweat like a hog. If you are running that hard, won’t the lizards hear you coming? Perhaps Shamus should have tried sneakig up on them – with little cat feet?

When I challenged Shamus about the use of the word “blustery”, he said he did not mean it was windy, it a word he picked up from a Winnie the Pooh movie he saw as a child. Is this the movie, Shamus – you friggen liar? Shamus told me he didn’t like Christine because of the way she treated his mother.

Mother’s are protective of their children. Shamus is Vicki’s only child. What if Shamus got mad at Christine for taking Vicki’s $60,000 dollars and not paying her back?

Point Pinos Lighthouse is one of the six lighthouses along the coast for which Congress appropriated funds shortly after California statehood was ratified. Built in 1855, Pacific Grove’s lighthouse is on the northernmost tip of the Peninsula. Before its construction, this point had proved dangerous to sailors who mistakenly believed they had reached Monterey Bay.

More Lies From Shamus Dundon

Tonight, on past posts, I found two disturbing comments from my
nephew, Shamus Dundon. Once more he is lying about the windy
conditions at Rocky Point. He says his lies resulted from a phone
conversation we had. This is not true. We exchanged e-mails!

Shamus used the word “windy” and then “blustery” in separate accounts
without my prodding. They were slips. A month after Christine
drowned, I heard from her friend that lives in Pacific Grove, that
she recalled it was very windy that morning when she went jogging by
the ocean. She later had breakfast with the ex-chief of police, and
he too said it was windy.

Shamus;

“There’s 2 main points you keep coming back to. Jogging, and
Blustery. Try to remember all the questions you hammered me with on
the phone. I was doing my best to give you details of things from
memory that I wasn’t really taking note of. Like me asking you
specifics on a bath you took a few weeks ago…”How used was the
soap?” “was the shampoo bottle almost empty?” If something dramatic
happened at the end of your bath, those details may or may not come
into sharp relief. Blustery was definitely not the right word,
especially since little piglet was not carried away by the wind
holding naught but a carrot. Gusts of cool wind would have been a
better choice. Windy would have worked and been accurate. the mph of
the winds I couldn’t/can’t approximate for you.”

Here is part of an e-mail Shamus sent me five years ago.

Shamus said;

“I could have described AGAIN for you whatever it was you needed from
me. (blustery was a word I got from Winnie the Pooh stories, and the
cartoon I saw did not show it to be violent. I never looked it up in
the dictionary”

disney.go.com/…/pooh/ classics/blusteryday.html

Here is the first time Shamus let it slip it was windy;

“After going to the house , then a> > little later, I think I> > hear
something (it’s windy so I think I’m hearing> > something). Then I’m
pretty> > sure I hear something so I get off the couch and> > look
out the door. The next> > thing I saw were Mom and Drew running up
the hill> > mom crying and saying to> > call 911.”

It had to be pretty windy! This meant there were large waves crashing
against the rocks you see above. It was high tide! Thus, Christine
KNEW there was great danger, and would have never sat with her back
to the sea! Here is what Vicki, Shamus’ mother told the Pincecone,
she making it out that she was a Hero!
“It must have been Christine’s time, and perhaps she knew so. I was
there as an afterthought. She and Drew were going to spend the whole
weekend at a guest house. Christine went back and sat down on the
final rock after saying we should go get lunch and rent fishing
poles. She always had nightmares about water, tidal waves, the
ocean’s power, the water taking control. She was facing her
nightmare; she sat back down as if she had conquered those fears.
I didn’t understand why we weren’t leaving. It must have been a
premonition – NOTHING ABOUT THE OCEAN, THAT, DAY WOULD INDICATE
WEWERE IN DANGER. We weren’t just frolicking on the rocks.” Vicki
said. “We were responsible people, and aware of the water at all
times. It was a full moon weekend with lots of tidal action. A friend
told me that five other people were swept out to sea ( from
California’s north coast) over the same period. We went to look for
shells and tide pool creatures. Christine was sure the tide was going
out. Did she know what lay a head?”

Here is Shamus saying I am slandering him for my own glorification.
Tom Snyder, the rival biographer slanders my family in his book, and
says there was no wind. What about his glorification?

Shamus said…

For the record, I haven’t lied. I haven’t twisted the truth. I
haven’t mislead you in any way. Your insistence in slandering my name
to further the glorification of yourself and your “quest” is petty,
low, and shows your true character. If I had one wish, it would be
this… I wish you were with us that day, and I especially wish you
followed me around and did the things I did, or at least observed
them closely. Then I wish you could have the knowledge of all the
things you’ve wrongfully accused me of concerning my accounts of that
day. Your shame and embarrassment would be staggering. I’m more hurt,
than I am angered by your mistrust. Shamus Dundon

“I wish you were with us that day, and I especially wish you followed
me around and did the things I did, or at least observed them
closely.”

Shamus and I were together for twenty four hours before the funeral.
Did he or I see family members “ravaging Christine’s home”?

“Before the service, Vicki had taken the trouble to go through
Christine’s bedroom, putting her jewelry and intimate belongings out
of sight. As matters turned out, it did little good, for the funeral
was not long over before family members and others were ravaging
Christine’s house, taking whatever could be carted away. The artist’s
closet, a veritable mother lode – took the worst beating. World-class
spender that Christine had been, much of the clothing had never been
worn. So whatever still bore price tags was hauled off to be
exchanged for money. Jewelry disappeared, as well as other personal
belongings. Gallery employees and close friends of the family, along
with Vicki, were doing their best to staunch the flow – the estate
had not yet been inventoried – but to no avail.”

Hugh Bromily, Khara’s husband and Episcopal priest, conducted the
service with taste and dignity. Raphael spoke, along with Karis: two
friends from childhood. The rest was, given those involved, what one
might expect. Vic was cornering whatever woman he could; Rosemary
came in drunk, lost in her story that she was the only seventeen-year-
old to turn down Errol Flynn’s advances.”Oh it was just awful.”
Lillian recalls. ‘Rosemary was shouting that Shannon was late, ‘and
ought to have her butt kicked.’ I don’t know all what she said after
that but she had her silver flask with her and it was getting rough.”

This oceanfront location seems a perfect place, and a perfect dayfor
exploring and tide pooling, with a brilliant blue sky. Oddly, for
this peaceful spring morning, THERE IS NO WIND. Christine and Drew
and Vicki are nearly to the cove when Drew slips. Taking her
daughter’s iceplant-smeared hand, Christine slides her free hand into
the pocket of the stylish leather jacket. As she feels the shells
Drew has given her for safe keeping, Christine flashes on the value
of drawing everything possible from a single moment.”

I find it hard to believe you are in good standing with anyone. Your
attacks are hurtful and you really need to understand the difference
between seeking truth, and witch burning. If you put me in water,
I’ll most likely float. The amount of knowledge you credit or condemn
me for having is fantasy. Most of the quotes you have of me are
accurately represented, but your interpretation of them is near
fantasy. There’s 2 main points you keep coming back to. Jogging, and
Blustery. Try to remember all the questions you hammered me with on

Jogging to explain to you approximately the pace I was going from
rock to rock to look for lizards. I was not jogging for excercise, I
was simply scanning the rocks as I went by. To jog by instead of walk
by, #1 gets me from rock to rock faster. #2 it let’s me perhaps
surprise a lizard trying to catch morning sun to warm up. I never did
see a lizard, nor did I have any reason to believe there would be
any. I only explored to see if maybe there were some. (Same reason we
went down to the beach part, to see if there was anything to see…)
After the activity of checking for lizards I did get warm because I
was wearing a jacket. That’s when I gave up looking for lizards and
went back to the guest house. I’ve told you everything I know about
that day, and the events surrounding it. I still haven’t read the
book about Christine. I never tried to take your grand son away from
you nor your daughter. The most I ever did was warn her not to take
it personal if you should verbally attack her in the righteous way
you seem to favor. I said that so if you DID yell at her and accuse
her of wrong doings, she would be less likely to give up on kindling
a relationship, not to sabatoge anything you had hoped for. Name one
family member you haven’t verbally attacked in a rightous rage with
venom spewing from your lips. I hope you can at least say you’ve
never done it to your grandson. I never did anything but answer your
questions to the best of my ability. My only failure with you was not
having a photographic memory and having a sub par vocabulary.

“One thing..”After failing to catch any lizards, Shamus began to jog
about to stay warm. Working up a sweat, he then went up to the house
to “cool off”.

“I didn’t jog to stay warm. I got warm after trying to catch lizards.
I wasn’t trying to exercise, so perhaps jogging is a bad term.
Iwasn’t walking slowly around to find lizards, I was moving around at
a fast pace. Jogging is the term I used to describe the speed in
which I was moving around to try and find/catch the lizards. Shamus
ps I haven’t done any searching for Heather yet, I will post herewhen
I have done so.

“Your accusations are tiring. I never once said I was jogging around

because it’s completely untrue. I used to term jogging to describe
how I got from one rock to another. Also one of your other posts
reminded me I did have a headache also. I was sweating.

Mom called me last night after getting an email from Heather. Heather
was very upset about the things you said to her. Mom was ticked off
at me, accusing me of stirring things up by having Heather contact
you, so she wanted me to write Heather to advise herwhat to do about
it. Mom also said she would call Heather in a day or two to add her 2
cents. I’ve already advised Heather in an email last night. I
suggested she may want to wait until after the baby is born to
contact you, considering she doesn’t need the extra stress while
she’s present. At that time, I hadn’t read all your rubbish yet about
you thinking I was posing as her. I will write her another email
suggesting she call you only if you write her anapology. (by the way,
write an apology as you would to her, not one you think is going to
me as a fraud) long story short, yes mom does have her phone number,
yes I could get it from her. No I won’t give it to you without
Heathers consent. You have her REAL email address convince her of
your intent and maybe not all is lost.
On top of his warning would come the warning from the strong wind
that was blowing earlythat morning. Remove the wind, and you remove
the danger, as well as the strong warning from Layne? Did he tell the
party of four about the fisherman’s fate the previous weekend? If so,
why did Vicki suggest in the ‘Pinecone’ account that they go rent
fishing poles? Vic claims they had his poles. In a e-mail last year,
Shamus says it was “blustery”. This is all very vital as Christine
was terrified to get near the ocean of it looked at all threatening.
So the high tide and the “blustery” wind are removed. But, here comes
a lone rogue wave traveling thousandsof miles across the sea, and it
is going to meet up with Christine at the exact same time she sits
with her back to the sea, and predicts her own death. Imagine the
timing of that

!”It is not quite ten-thirty in the morning and Vicki asks about the
tide. Christine says it is low, based on her frequent excursions to
Point Lobos with Drew. The ocean seems calm, ordinary.””Traveling
thousands of miles across the Pacific, the mountain ofwater offshore
would appear at first only to be a heavy swell. But inthe moment that
its base slams into the rock wall extending beyondand well below
rocky inlet, and enormous surge of water is drivenupward with
terrible force. Rising above and curling forward overthe defending
rock, as the space narrows, the rogue wave rips inthrough the inlet
as well, increasing in speed to ten, twenty, perhaps thirty miles an
hour.”

Imagine water. then imagin a rock cliff.(more like> > a wall) now

My nephew, Shamus, says he was leaping rock to rock looking for lizards after he said he was “jogging” to stay warm. LOOK how rugged and steep these rocks are rocks. Underneath the ice plants are big rocks making walking a hazardous chore! If I was Fox I would come running – if he was not already there! Was his attorney with him? Was Clint Eastwood still the Mayor of Carmel? Was he ever a guest of Allan’s house? I was kept away from a meeting at Christine’s house the next day. Was Fox there? “Blustery was definitely not the right word,
