On February 5, 2026, I listened to the President of the United State trash Europe, while bragging about his accomplishments. The Kennedy family is outraged that Donald Trump is tearing down Camelot, after he took charge of the Kennedy Center.
Around 6:30 AM I google Stanford and Belmont, and up pops this UGLY CHECK! WTF? Why did Stanford give the City of Belmont a check for $500,000 dollars? I’m going to write Governor Newson a letter – and find out! I’m also going to write a proposal to the University of California – who is now going to purchase land my ancestor may have owned? There was a land deal. A document was singed – and sealed – promising there would be a….
CARL JANKE DAY
Before this outstanding discovery, I googled the Grimm Brothers. I was wondering if Belmont would celebrate these German writer of Fairytales on their 100 Years of History – ordeal! So fare, we get a Russian hockey player, who is a hunk American women go for. Why not my grandson, Tyler Hunt, the great, great, grandson of…

Today is Carl Janke Day! It’s been a long time coming! I have fulfilled the broken promise the City of Belmont made. CJD will be celebrated on the last Sunday of July.
My father never met his father-in-law, Royal Rosamond, nor did Victor Hugo Presco. I never met Royal and VH. These Four Fathers board Captain Vic’s Chris Craft, and head out for Belmont, going under the Carquinez Bridge.
This is the first time these father’s have been in the same place together – cyberspace! In real, and historic life, these men could chat you up, back you down, and laugh at your losing hand. Why anyone would mess with them, and their DNA line, is a mystery. But they do! No losers on this boat ride! Just winners, who owe so much to…..Carl Janke!

When I talked to Carol Williams we spoke between the lines, being, law firms have no spiritual base, and will bleach out all the spirituality they find in Creative People they handle so they can get down to what really matters to them – THE MONEY!
I am more than a Baba Lover. I have traced his families cosmology to the Kurds, as well as the Nazarites. I have been communicating with Kurds on facebook. One group is seeking to form a secular way of life to counter ISIS that is destroying art and selling artifacts.
Sydney Morris crushed my spiritual input in my family, along with the Family Sobriety that I begged him to protect in several letters. I will have to go to the Monterey Supreme Court and see how many of letters got filed in the probate of Christine Rosamond Benton.
Morris did not charge my family any money because he knew he had destroyed us and the Rosamond estate. He knew this while he handled the Creative Legacy of the Weston family. Edward Weston contributed to the ‘Dune Forum’ which published photos of Meher Baba’s visit to the Dunites. Add to these images the photos of Peter Stackpole and we are gazing upon the sublime.

sublime
1. elevated or lofty in thought, language, etc.: Paradise Lost is sublime poetry.
2. impressing the mind with a sense of grandeur or power; inspiring awe, veneration, etc.:Switzerland has sublime scenery.
During the earlier 1932 visit he had met a spiritual seeker named Sam Cohen, a Theosophist and resident of a loosely knit freethinkers’ community named “Moy Mell” nestled among the dunes on the beach at Oceano, California. The benefactor of this group of intellectuals, spiritual seekers, artists and social misfits was Chester Alan Arthur III, grandson of the 21st President, who went by the name of Gavin. For a time Gavin published a magazine called the Dune Forum, which included articles by such notables as Stuart Edward White (author of the spiritualist classic, The Unobstructed Universe), and photographic contributions by Ansel Adams and Edward Weston (whose dune photographs are well-known). Gavin would frequently entertain the intellectual and artistic elite of America at his cabin in the dunes. Although accounts differ somewhat, it appears that Baba sent disciple Meredith Starr and his wife to Moy Mell in 1932

“The most amazing vibrations on earth could be found 18 miles south of San Luis Obispo California in the middle of the Oceano Dunes…That’s where we are. A vortex, kinda like Sedona Arizona, just a magnificent energy center.” — Environmentalist John Reid
We’re a few miles south of Pismo Beach not far from the 101 freeway. I’ve been following environmentalist John Reid into the dunes for hours. We’re a little lost, but that’s the nature of the place.
An entire squatter community once disappeared into this wilderness — a colony of hermits, artists and poets called Dunites. They sat out the great depression here in a string of wooded coves, drawing in visitors like John Steinbeck, Upton Sinclair and even India’s holy man, Meher Baba. The Dunite appeal — as, Reid sees it — was their freedom.
“To live the American dream the way it was intended to be lived, not the way it was manufactured to be,” said Reid. “They were able to have their little plots of land, their gardens and their creative enterprises without any government interference.”
Tucked behind commercial farmland and oil fields, the Oceano Dunes are still obscure. Most people I’ve talked to have never heard of them. Strange considering they’re 18 miles long and look like an Egyptian desert sitting halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
You know those famous Ansel Adams dune photos? Well, that’s them. Except now they’re a big RV campground and off-roader’s paradise.
Fenced off from the vehicles, the Dunites’ archaeological remains sit side by side with those of the native Chumash who lived here for thousands of years before them. Big white heaps of their ancient discarded meals. Their shell mounds.
“You could tell which ones are Chumash and which ones are Dunite based upon the size of the clam shell,” said Reid. “When the Chumash were here, there were a lot more sea otters, the predator of the Pismo clam. But when the Dunites were here, sea otters had gotten rare, the clams got larger, lived longer.”
Full grown clams, a mediterranean climate, fresh water a few feet underground, and secluded coves. What more could a hermit ask for?
City of Belmont – Breach of Contract

I just sent shorter version of this letter to the City Manager of Belmont. I will try to send it at the next City Hall meeting.
Carl and Dorothea Janke are my great, grandparents and California Pioneers. They founded Belmont California. They brought six potable houses around the Cape and erected them in Belmont in 1848.
For several years I have been asking the Mayor and City Council of Belmont California about who authorized the digging up of my great grandparents, Carl and Dorothea Janke. I have received no reply. A week ago I found the minutes of the Belmont Historic society where my relative, Doris Vannier brought up the fact Carl Janke and his wife were dug up in the middle of the night – in 1975? Is this correct? There is talk about asking the City Government for money to place a plaque on the giant Bay tree, where under – the graves were dug. Was a plaque placed on this tree, or anywhere near? Was this matter ever brought before the Mayor and City Council?
Yesterday, I read an article by historian, Russel Estep, about two tombstones put in front of Ralston Hall in 1852. Some citizens did not want them there, and wanted carboard boxes placed over them, or, allow weeds to grow high, and hide them. These are Pioneer graves, and deserve more than the cheapest burial solution know to mankind. How often will the paper boxes have to be replaced? Are you going to have to pay a city worker? Estep suggested The City likes to do the bidding of the people – who are upset.
I’m upset, but am not a resident of Belmont. However, there is a document signed by the Mayor founding ‘Carl Janke Day’, Is Doris Vannier the sole author of this document that contains the Belmont City Seal? How many times was Carl Janke Day celebrated? I see no mention of the Janke name in Belmont Village. There used to be a Janke Lane? There is a missing Janke tombstone. There are allegedly three people in the same grave in the Union cemetery. There is the possibility they were placed outside the cemetery- and moved when highway 84 was built.
I have a strong suspicion the bodies of my great grandparents were never dug up in the middle of the night, and only their tombstones were moved. This is not only very deceptive, it constitutes a Breach of Contract, then – and now! This is not the way to treat – THE DEAD! Did the two graves dug in 1852 receive some respect for 123 years? Is there a chance they were Janke graves? Are there any bones to be found? Maybe you should ask Stanford to look, and conduct a through investigation.
Until that day, on this day July 26, 2024…I John Presco claim all the land my relative, Mrs. Vannier, listed in The Contract To Honor Carl’. This land may be as large as one square mile. It is obvious the City of Belmont could find no land to honor their Pioneers, and were catering to Greedy Wanters of Land. If there are any new buildings on my land, or a freeway, I want them removed. I will move to Belmont to enjoy my land, and build a fabulous monument to Carl Janke and his wife – right in front of Ralston Hall! Millions of people will come to Belmont – just to touch this moment. Your tourist industry will bring in a million a year – at least! Help make Carl and Dorothea – very happy! They were for progress – but not this much progress – for Christ’s sake! Every day…..will be Carl Janke Day!

A breach of contract is a civil wrong that occurs when a party to a binding contract fails to fulfill their obligations, without a legal excuse. This can include failing to deliver goods or services, not completing work on time, or not paying for services. The other party can sue for breach of contract, and the goal of contract law is to put the harmed party back in the same economic position they would have been in if there had been no breach. The default remedy is monetary damages, which are usually limited to what’s listed in the contract.

Yesterday I found a book that says my great great grandfather, Carl Janke was a Forty-niner who built homes all over the Bay Area. This history was oppressed because Christians did not like the German Forty-Eighters who backed my kin, John Fremont, the co-founder of the Rebpilcian Party, and its first Presidential Candidate. Recording this history is the most important thing I can do.

It was radical socialist Jews, who belonged to sports clubs, that founded the state of Israel, and not Rabbis or a Messiah. The only person giving the title ‘Messiah’ was Harry Truman, a Democrat. The group that gets most of the credit is the Israelitische Turnverein, a group of Jewish gymnasts who were expelled from the Berlin Turnverien. My Stuttmeiser, Janke kinfolk were members of the Tunrverein, and were radical Forty-Eighters who are also give credit for the founding of Israel. These Forty-Eighters made up John Fremont’s and Jessie Benton’s bodyguard. The Freemasons are here. Other clubs that followed were named after “Bar Kochba” who was seen as a Messiah until he failed to drive the Romans out of Judea. His name was changed to “Simon bar Kozeba” (Hebrew: בר כוזיבא, “Son of lies” or “Son of deception”).
My Dead Have Been Taken Hostage

To: The City of Belmont
October10, 2023
My name is John Presco. I am President of Royal Rosamond Press ‘A newspaper for the Arts. Several months ago I tried to speak at the council meeting held to discuss Stanford buying Notre Dame de Namur, but my voice could not be heard after I was called upon due to technical difficulty.. I tried to speak at the last meeting, but it was canceled. For two weeks I have been working on a vision for the future of Twin Pines Park – knowing when Stanford moves in – they are going to want more land. I have more land to give them, on the condition I am on the team who designs a Inner City Park and Bohemian Mercantile Mecca – that will be a showcase to other city all over the world!.
I am the great grandson of Carl Janke the co-founder of Belmont. whose remains were dug up in the middle of the night and put in a mass grave in the Union Cemetery. I am asking the Mayor and City Council to help me get more information on how this could have happened. On August 27th. I became a Odd Fellow so I can honor my ancestors, who were dug up from their final resting place in the Oddfellow Cemetery in San Francisco. After the initiation ceremony, a brother told me there was a fight over the Oddfellow Cemetery next to the University of Oregon, that bid lawmakers to pass Bills so they could dig up more dead people and move them elsewhere. Those Bills – failed!
I was going to postpone my request due to the horrific news being name in Israel and the Gaza Strip, but I began to hear plea after plea for the return of bodies, some of them mutilated, so they can be buried, so the families of the dead can find closure. I have no closure, and I feel my dead have been taken hostage.
When I contacted the Belmont Historical Society, I was hoping to begin a genealogical-historical research that would lead me own more information about the Turnverein Jews who formed a bond with the Turnverein Gentiles in the City of Berlin, where my Stuttmeister ancestors have a magnificent monument in a cemetery. They were Evangelicals who sailed to all parts of the world. They may have known German Templers who founded colonies in Israel. My great grandfather married Augusta Janke at Ralston Hall and took a stage to Santa Cruz for their honeymoon. The Janke family owned that stage?
“Dr. and Mrs. Stuttmeister left Thursday morning for Santa Cruz and Monterey, where they will spend the honeymoon. On their return they will make their home in Belmont.”
.Four Generations of the Carl Janke Family were dug up from their final resting place – and put somewhere else. This is a Forty-niner Family. Dorothy Janke’s mother was born on the island of Heligoland, that means Holy Land. Heinrich Mutter may be her father. There should be a brass plaque on this island telling Dorothy’s People she was part of the Gold Rush, and was a California Pioneer. Did the Heligolandians pool their money together to go West and secure more land for future generations? People all over the world heard the gold was just lying there – in the streets! If the Belmont City Planners and Government – had not respected the dead for all those years – then there would not have been free land to grab and make a city park! Shall we title this….The Second Gold Rush….considering the price of real estate? Let us pray all the caring offspring of Carl and Dorothea – are dead – and don’t show up out of the blue to reclaim what is rightfully theirs to enjoy.
Help me complete the Janke Family Dream. Bring Carl and Dorette Catherine Janke – back home, so they can be honored in the way the Belmont City of Ol – agreed to honor them. If everything meets to my specifications, then I will give written permission for Belmont and Stanford to exand their vision onto Sacred Ground, in the most honorable, and respectful way possible.

I just found a letters I wrote to Mr. White, the President of Namur College. Scroll down.

Dear Mr. White; My name is John Presco and I am the great, great grandson of Carl Janke, who brought six portable houses around the Cape in 1849. It appears that one of these portable houses is inside Ralston Hall – that was built around the small houses that Count Cipriani allegedly had shipped from Italy. I doubt this is true. I would conduct a study by archeological historians who can test the wood – that may not be cut from foreign trees? How about the screws that put this house together?
Three days before Memorial Day I discovered Carl Janke, his wife, and his mother-in-law were dug up from their graves in the middle of the night, and put in the same hole in Redwood City. This was done in 1972. I wonder if this religious activity is recorded in the archives of ND? The sacred ground reserved for the Jankes was located in Twin Pines Park that is next to ND – that might have purchased some of the original land owned by Carl. Can you check? You have a team of scholars and researchers at your disposal. Do you teach local history, or, is your main field – psychology? If so, then an analysis of City Planner’s is called for, being, Stanford purchased ND and is going to make big changes. Can we rest assured new planners – won’t do something crazy? There are rules and laws for exhuming the dead – and reburying them. Would you like to be thrown in a grave with your mother-in-law?
(What would Freud say about this – recurring nightmare?)
Let me begin my proposal this way….I want your assistance in returning my great grandparents to their original burying grounds, and installing me as a professor and theologian in residence. My kindred, Dominica Wieneke founded Briarcliff College. Other family members became a priest and nuns in the Oder of Saint Francis. My alleged ancestor, Godeschalk Rosemondt, was the Master of Louvain and the Falcon Art College in Holland. He was Pope Adrien executor, and found the Pope’s College for poor boys. My kin commissioned the artist Hieronymus Bosch, whose art should be taught at NM, as well as Artificial Intelligence in the World of Art, a course I will design. I would like to found a school of spies and augurs, in Ralston Hall where my great grandfather, William Stuttmeister, got married to Augustus Janke, the daughters of Carl, I am kin to John Fremont, the first to emancipate slaves. I became a Nazarite in 1987, and am steeped in Biblical knowledge. I alone figured out what Jesus wrote in the dust. I can teach a course in religion – that will change Christianity as we know it.
I am seventy six years of age, and do not feel safe where I am. I believe you should follow religious traditions, and have me be The Monk in Residence until it is time for me to go to a just reward. My blog, Royal Rosamond Press may be the largest blog in the world, and should be archived. Today is Father’s Day. Any books that come out of this Journey to The Past will be donated to an Art Program for poor children. I taught my late sister how to paint and she became the famous artist ‘Rosamond’. She is a great granddaughter of Carl Janke, and married into the Benton family.. We are kin to John Fremont who emancipated slaves. Carl built two Turnverien Halls and may be a Fourty-Eighter. Our history has much to do with the celebration of Juneteenth. This was not the first time members of the Janke family were dug out of their graves. Four of them were removed from the Oddfellows graveyard in SF. Member of the LDS church offered to help me research the Janke family. I went to their event.. I believe my Civil Liberties are being violated considering the classes you offer to minorities, where discovering their past – is vital! Freedom of religion involves – our dead! Jesus, and other Jews, raised people from the dead. I declared my self Nazarite in 1987.
Last night I researched getting a Getty Grant. There is a residency program attached to the Getty Villa. My late brother-in-law did the murals here. He and Christina Rosamond Benton were friends of Ann and Gordon Getty and did a mural in their home. Consider all the great murals in churches. I believe I am the exception. I was forced to drop out of high school. A watercolor I did toured the world in a Red Cross show. I believe I am a National Treasure and will say so in my message to Gavin Newsom who has been close the the Getty family his whole life.
I ran for Governor of Oregon last year and and am a Republican Candidate for President. For years I have ordered the Evangelical Politicians who subscribe to the false teaching of John Darby and Tim LaHaye – to get out of my families party! I figured out why Jesus said;
“I’ve come for the sinner – and not the righteous!”
The author Damon Knight did a study of Bosch and found to figures in The Wedding Feast at Cana – that were removed – and replaced with a dancing dog. I believe those men are Pope Adrien and Godeschalk Rosemondt. The other figures are members of the Swan Brethren. Everyone and everything is pointing to the foundation of the Brotherhood of the Swan at Notre Dame de Namur.

It is 4:38 A.M. in Springfield Oregon. I just woke from the most arduous dream of my life where I was REBORN, into the flesh, into the spirit, into the plan God made for me. On this day I found The Falcon Art College At Belmont. I will write a letter to Pope Saint Francis and asking him for his blessing and support in the fulfilment of a Prophecy.
Today is October 7, 2020. I believe it is God’s will that the Falcon Art College of Belmont be located inside Ralston Hall, that I believe is one of the portable buildings brought around the Cape on a Clipper Ship by my great grandfather, Carl Janke, the founder of a soda works in Belmont, and a German Theme park. The Ralston house was a portable house put together by 5,000 screws. I am now convinced that Gottschalk Rosemondt is my great ancestor, and appeared in a Bosch painting with his best friend, Pope Adrian. I believe it is the Fair Lady of the Swan Brethren who is my guardian angel and angelic guide.

Dear Mr. Mayor;
Someone on the Belmont Historical Society suggested I have violated their copyright, by posting an image of William Janke, who may be in a family photograph this is posted on their facebook page. About twelve of my posts have been removed, which alarms me, because I offer NEW family information – that could be used without my permission! Being related this famous family does not rate with this clic who are described as “we”. To be invited by an origination connected with the City of Belmont, to contribute your family history, then be treated like you are a outsider and parasite – is outrageous! This goes against the tradition of other Historical Societies – who encourage descendant of famous people to contribute – because there is no telling what they have, or, if they are going to put that Society in their will. I demand a full investigation. I would like to see your bi-laws.

The Chancellor (Hitler)
Dear Mr. President! (Hindenburg)
In a most generous and humane manner you, Mr. Field Marshal, plead the cause of those members of the Jewish people who were once compelled, by the requirements of universal military service, to serve in the war. I entirely understand these lofty sentiments, Mr. Field Marshal. But, with the greatest respect, may I point out that members and supporters of my movement, who are Germans, for years were driven from all Government positions, without consideration for their wives and children or their war service…. Those responsible for this cruelty were the same Jewish [political] parties which today complain when their supporters are denied the right to official positions, with a thousand times more justification, because they are of little use in these positions but can do limitless harm.”

Dear Citizens of Belmont:
I’m addressing you directly to let you know, the history of your city is at the apex of world history in several important ways. When I contacted the Belmont Historical society, Kamala Harris was just elected Vice President. I pointed out she and I were born in Oakland where members of my family had moved to after the SF Earthquake. I was interested in finding out more about my family ancestor, Carl Janke, who built three Turnverein Halls. I was studying Muscular Judaism, that was inspired by the Turners, and took part in the Zionist Return beforeWW2. And thus they may not be connected with the radical Lehi and Stern Gangs that waged terrorist warfare against the British and the Palestinians, that has brought us all to the world-wide crisis that threatens a billion people! How dramatic!
Three years ago I contacted the Belmont Historical Society. For three days I got no response, or, greeting. Alas I got this Facebook message from Denny Lawhern;
“Greg Presco Hi Greg , I have been enjoyed some of your posts and photos that are directly related to the Belmont area and you have provided some new photos and information that will be put in a file, but please try not to post anything that is off topic or is not Belmont Area related. Thank you , Denny Lawhern Belmont Historian“
I was shocked. You would think Mr. Lawhern would have greeted me – and asked my permission to use my family photos. I suspect he looked at my blog, and decided I was not good enough for HIS CITY, and was a threat of some kind. I suspected Denny was a Republican and was not happy Trump just lost the election, and, he and his ilk had to do more to keep out the rabble. Democrats would soon be accused of – STEALING THE ELECTION! There is no proof of this, and a Black mother and daughter successfully sued Rudy Giuliani, who was a hero after real bad people knocked down the Trade Towers. This GREAT LIE led to the Jan.6th. Insurrection where enemies of Democracy stormed our Capitol, and tried to overturn the results of a valid election. Yesterday, Colorado passed a law taking Trump off the ballot. This will incite those who believe Democrats are LOWLIFE VOTE-THIEVES out to steal the election – once again!
Now, add the speeches of Trump where he uses the term “poison the blood”. How many Republicans will think this applies to The Lowlife Voter-Thieves? Trump says he was not inspired by Hitter. How many citizen of Belmont – are not sure if this is true? Here is Hitler’s response to Hindenburg who is upset about the treatment of Jewish WW1 Vets who had distinguished themselves, like John McCain did. Germanys Jews know Paul is…..THEIR LAST HOPE!
“In general, the primary aim of this cleansing process is only to restore a certain sound and natural balance, and, secondly, to remove from official positions of national significance those elements to which one cannot entrust [the choice between] Germany’s survival or destruction. For it will not be possible to avoid, in the next few years, [the need] to make sure that certain processes which must not be communicated to the rest of the world for reasons of the highest national interest, will indeed remain secret. This can only be guaranteed by the inner homogeneity of the administrative bodies concerned.”
Hitler is telling the President of Germany there exist a SECRET PLAN to not only rid Germany of the Jewish Vermin, but…..CLEANSE THE WHOLE WORLD! Hitler did not hate the Jews – who helped propel him to power. He gave permission to the Zionists to go to Israel.
When I read Denny’s CLEANSING MESSAGE I understood he did not fully understand the scope of his action. I also wondered if he knew Carl Janke and his wife – were dug up out of their graves in the middle of the night – and was very concerned if I LOOKED DEEPER, I would find out. Why was he, and Cynthia – discouraging me from gathering MORE of my family history? Is this not the birth of – MAGA?
“is only to restore a certain sound and natural balance”
THE SOUND OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE – is forbidden in the Naturally Aryan Empire! It’s only natural to want to be surrounded by members of your own race, who are guaranteed to look out for the wellbeing of your wife and children – verses to STEAL ANOTHER ELECTION from the rightful people of destiny. Did Hindenburg try to keep Hitler off the ballot – knowing he would be the ruin of Germany? Why didn’t Paul CANCEL the elections, and declare himself – DICTATOR – knowing this declaration would save the lives of millions of Jews?
Republicans are rallying around Trump after being removed from the ballot. What I suggest, is that every Republican Candidate SIGN a Belief Pledge, stating they no longer believe Biden and the Democrats stole the election, so elections will be fair from now on? I am kin to John Fremont, a co-founder of the Republican Party, and its first Presidential Candidate. He was backed by Radical Republicans, who authorized the 14th. Amendment. Why not have Republics sign The Iron Clad Oath, so that all voters can be assured they do not want Trump to be ‘Dictator For A Day’? If that’s what most Republican want, why should President Biden – allow elections to take place? After all, he is innocent of stealing the elections, with the help of un-named Democrats!
Below is a photograph of Cark Janke’s great grandson, Victor William Presco. He went to sea as a Merchant Marine. He told me me he did not want to end up in Germany -fighting his people. My father was a neo-Nazi, as was his eldest son, Mark Presco. Standing next to Victor, is Richard Molnar, who married Lillian Rosamond. Dick flew fifty missions over Germany in a Flying Fortress. He night have done much damage to the Brandeberg Gate -for starters!
Hindenburg knew Hitler was going to destroy Germany. Is this knowledge the source of the look Paul wears – forever? When Paul died, thousands of Jews applied for passports’, and were denied. They wondered how many other Jews – wanted out – wanted to get as far away as that Madman as they could. Young people thinks this is all political gamesmanship. They thing they will always have a choice. The Nazis made sure your box of oats came with a Nazi Party message, not that it mattered anymore. But when who have captured a whole nation, what is their left to do, then capture their minds, orver, nd over, and over again!
My father died without knowing there was a Lost Janke-Stuttmeister crypt in Colma. Why? When I found it I brought my daughter and newborn grandson -for a visit! I marveled at the irony, that the Good German found this sanctuary -before the Bad German in my family found it. I was – the Family Jew! I refused to go along with Victor’s program. Victor would love Trump. How about Uncle Dick. There’s going to be a series about the American Bombers. I pray Hitler – is not going to run for office?
Dear Citizens of Belmont. There is a very bad German at your gate. Do not let him in. If you do, things will go badly for you. Your life…….won’t end well! How can you prevent the terrible destiny coming – all our way? You can find out who gave, permission for Carl and Dorothy Janke, to be dug up from their graves in the middle of the night – and be put in Dorothy’s mothers grave in Redwood City. How can this save – the world – you ask? The answer is The End of my book, tilted…

Three Flags – One Grave
Posted on May 27, 2023 by Royal Rosamond Press

It is 8:33 A.M. May 27, 2023 – and I am still in shock having discovered my grandparents are buried in the same grave! I saw TWO flags put on one gravestone. That was a half hour ago. THEN – I see another flag! There are three of my ancestors buried in the same grave! WHY? Did the caretakers conclude this was a very poor family? William Stuttmeister knew they were Belmont before he died. At great expense to himself, he moved the Jankes to Colma after they were evicted from the Odd Fellow cemetery – at great expense! This was a wealthy pioneer family whose graves keep being defiled! They were moved to the Union cemetery i 1972?

While Nordau’s Muscular Judaism defiantly built the new Jew, the Jew that was able to build its own nation-state in its ancestral homeland for the first time in two millennia and the Jew that continues to defend and strengthen it to this day, the Muscular Judaism of the modern day should seek to bring those detached and alienated into its shelter. For those struggling to find something Jewish to connect with, fitness can be a constructive path to a stronger Jewish identity. For those struggling to find a place for their spiritual holiness in the physical world, Muscular Judaism can be your bridge. Together, under the banner of Muscular Judaism, world Jewry can once again find a common purpose, a common duty to both the spiritual and the physical, the material and the immaterial, the tangible and the intangible, a duty to ourselves, each other, and G-d.

Israel demolishes Gaza cemeteries, confiscates dead bodies of Palestinians

14 Dec 2023 Israel-Palestinian Territory
Geneva -The Israeli army has repeatedly targeted several cemeteries in the Gaza Strip, leaving widespread destruction, vandalising some graves, and stealing dead bodies, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said on Thursday.
In a conference room at Tel Aviv University last week, a group of visiting professors from the United States listened as a panel of students shared their experiences of the past few months.
Hearing tales of relatives abducted by Hamas on October 7, the perils of reserve IDF duty in Gaza and the struggle to return to finish a PhD while the Israel-Hamas war is still raging, the group of mainly Jewish academics from Harvard, Stanford and Dartmouth were doing exactly what they had set out to do on their solidarity visit: giving and receiving support.
Since the start of the war, US campuses have witnessed ongoing protests, petitions and antisemitic incidents. Coming to Israel and engaging directly with events on the ground is a way for members of the Jewish and pro-Israeli academic community to take action, explained Boston-based clinical psychologist and trauma expert Dr. Miri Bar-Halpern, who was also a mission participant.
The faculty trip is both “unique and important,” she told The Times of Israel. “We know from research that the best antidote for trauma is action. Post-traumatic growth comes from meaning, and you find that from doing. I think we want that sense of agency. We want to feel like we are helping from afar, and that is part of the purpose of this trip.”
An Israeli who has lived in the US for the last 15 years, Bar-Halpern is the director of Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services at the Boston Child Study Center. After October 7, she “began organizing mental health support for the Israeli community in Massachusetts” and was called in by Harvard Medical School, where she is a lecturer, to provide trauma services for the campus community.
“I gathered a team of about 10 Hebrew-speaking clinicians, and we provide support for anyone who needs it,” she said. “The experience of Israelis in the US now is completely different… On a regular day now, we have 5-6 cases just from the Israeli community. They feel ghosted and alone, it’s a shift in their identity. There is a ton of survivor’s guilt, about being there and not here,” she said.

Much of the Israeli community is coping with secondary trauma and “traumatic invalidation,” Bar-Halpern explained, which is “a clinical term for when you go through a very difficult experience and then people tell you it’s your fault, or your emotions don’t matter… You start questioning everything.”
“How is it possible that so many were murdered and kidnapped, but people still blame you? Or they just don’t have compassion, it’s not even blaming, just no compassion,” she said.
Solidarity and looking to the future
For Prof. Gabriel Kreiman, a youthful neuroscientist and the main organizer of the week-long visit of some 35 academics, “part of the goal of this trip is to express solidarity, but also to take an optimistic outlook and see how we can help, how we can build bridges together,” he said.
“We have talked to so many people. It is illuminating for us to hear about their struggles,” he told The Times of Israel.
Visiting the site of the Supernova dance party massacre was “particularly impactful,” Kreiman said. “I couldn’t help but think about my kids, who are 22 and 18. I imagined them dancing, falling in love, thinking about their future, and then all of a sudden… I can’t imagine.”
Asked about the climate at Harvard in light of the widely reported pro-Palestinian atmosphere and the dramatic congressional testimony of former president Claudine Gay and her subsequent resignation, Kreiman said, “I think in general back in the US, it’s frustrating that people are ignorant, people don’t really understand what is happening or the history of Israel.”

The multi-university faculty mission was not officially sponsored by the institutions and the visitors paid for the trip themselves, in most cases missing a week of work to do so.
This represents “just a fraction” of a larger community of academics who want to show support for Israel, Kreiman suggested.
“I think there is a very large community of people in the academic world who want to help, despite the enormous antisemitism and outrageous things that you have been seeing in the news about the US,” he stressed.
Speaking broadly, Kreiman said there is “a clear difference” between STEM and humanities departments in terms of how faculty and students look at the Israel-Hamas conflict, with the latter more likely to be pro-Palestinian in orientation.

In his field of neuroscience, he hasn’t felt much direct impact, but “academics here have been telling us: we are alone, we feel isolated, people are blocking and boycotting Israelis. We are talking about projects, collaborations, funding, grants, student exchanges, teaching courses together… different efforts to build a network to help Israeli students and faculty.”
A student’s perspective
Accompanying the faculty members was Harvard economics undergraduate Shai-Li Ron, an Israeli who has become an activist on campus. Before October 7, Ron had already organized several large student groups from Harvard on tours of Israel, and because of that experience, she was brought on board for the faculty visit.

On the tours, which were attended mostly by non-Jewish students, “you could really see how experiencing Israel first-hand allowed them to interact more deeply with the reality and complexities,” she explained.
After the events of October 7, in comparison to much of the Harvard student body, these students were “much more understanding, more sympathetic, more supporting. You could see how they understood the Israeli reality differently than other students, who only have access to the information on campus.”
The campus environment has “a general sense of a lack of safety and a lack of respect for Israeli lives… You hear all kinds of things being called for on campus, ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,’ and ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will just be Arab’ — they were saying that in Arabic,” Ron said.
“I have had a couple of personal incidents,” she continued, and related a story of how, several weeks after October 7, she met someone on campus asking students to sign “a thank you card to Hamas” which would be sent “to the Hamas leadership.”
“I was in total shock,” she said. “He showed me all the students who had signed. I asked him, ‘How would you feel if someone after 9/11 wanted to send a thank you card to Bin Laden?’ and I walked away. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be in.”
Cottage industry
The delegation from Harvard, Stanford and Dartmouth, as well as a separate delegation from Yale visiting last week, are part of a larger pattern of post-October 7 academic solidarity visits, which has also included the University of Pennsylvania and UCLA.
During the meetings at Tel Aviv University, this reporter chatted briefly with Yair Jablinowitz of Israel Destination, the travel agency that organized the academic missions.
Jablinowitz explained that after the December 5 Congressional hearing on antisemitism, where presidents of Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania and MIT refused to explicitly condemn calls for genocide against Jews on their campuses, he made it a mission to bring academic delegations from the three universities to Israel.
Several months ago, UPenn was the first of several universities to visit Israel. Jablinowitz said that a group from MIT and Berkeley is set to arrive next week. Visiting Israel during this time is “hugely significant,” he added.
“For these people, it’s not normal tourism,” he noted. “It’s very personal.”
