The federal government on Monday night said it was freezing more than $2 billion in grants to Harvard University after the school said it would not accept Trump administration demands that included auditing viewpoints of the student body.

The administration’s Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism announced the cuts in a statement that called out “the troubling entitlement mindset that is endemic in our nation’s most prestigious universities and colleges.”

It said that $2.2 billion in multi-year grants and $60 million “in multi-year contract value” would be frozen to the Ivy League university.

Earlier Monday Harvard rejected the administration’s demands.

“The university will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights,” the university’s X account said in a statement posted Monday. “Neither Harvard nor any other private university can allow itself to be taken over by the federal government.”

In an email to the Harvard community, President Alan M. Garber said the university received “an updated and expanded list of demands” from the White House administration, warning it to comply if it would like to “maintain financial relationship with the federal government.”

The 10 demands, which the administration says are aimed at addressing antisemitism on campus, include restricting the acceptance of international students who are “hostile to the American values and institutions.” The administration also wants a third party to audit programs that it says “fuel antisemitic harassment or reflect ideological capture.”

The administration also demanded the immediate shuttering of all diversity, equity and inclusion programs and initiatives, including in hiring and admissions. It asked Harvard to exchange them for “merit-based” policies.

Garber called the demands “unprecedented,” denouncing them as an attempt “to control the Harvard community” by policing the viewpoints of students, faculty and staff members.

The university informed the Trump administration through legal counsel that it would not accept the terms.

Rev. John Wilson Jr.- First Harvard Graduate

Harvard University has laid off the staff of its Harvard Slavery Remembrance Program, the unit of its $100 million Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery initiative tasked with identifying the direct descendants of those enslaved by Harvard affiliates.

“Wilson was said to have written a ballad about the event, which was sung by young men around Boston.[61]

JOHN WILSON, Jr., was born in Windsor, Essex, England, in September 1621. He came with his father to New England in 1630. He graduated from Harvard College in 1642, was ordained and settled in Dorcester, Norfolk, MA, where he was a colleague of Rev. Richard Mather.

Harvard’s first commencement was a solemn affair. There were nine graduates in the class of 1642: Benjamin Woodbridge, George Downing, John Bulkeley, William Hubbard, Samuel Bellingham, John Wilson, Henry Saltonstall, Tobias Barnard, and Nathaniel Brewster.

Site of the Homestead of Rev. John Wilson Marker

For years I asked my friends who graduated from Harvard, to help me with my writing. Mark Gall was the head of the Department of Education at the University of Oregon, and Edwin Corbin was a major drop-out of society who built a homestead in Yahachts where he raised three sons. When I admonished Ed for not keeping a detailed log of his Wooded Adventure and submit it to the Archives of Harvard, he knew he missed his calling. Mt. Gall missed his calling by refusing to be my mentor. I run the largest blog in the world named after my grandfather, a self-published author who found Gem Publishing. When I informed my two friends it appears I am a descendant of John Wilson, whose son was the first graduate of Harvard, they distanced themselves from me. They saw me as a INTRUDER trying to sneak in the back door. In their Crimson Eyes, I was a high school drop-out that was great at EA Sports. We played a lot of Tuber Woods Golf. I took care of Ed after he had a stroke, along with taking care of Virginia Hambley. When Jon Gall became gravely ill, I took his to his doctor apartments in my 1977 Toyota Carola I named The Mustard Mobile! Throw in Ed’s Beer Run, and taking four people to the free dinner in Eugene, my breaks and shocks – were shot! Oh, and I was on the bus with Ken Kesey!

Someone can make the case I was The Harvard Slave Boy, who was banished from their midst for my uppity ways. As fate would have it, I AM UP TO BAT with the bases loaded. Thanks to the shake up at Harvard – my genealogical now – WEARS A CROWN! My ninth grandfather, John Wilson, is the alleged co-founder of Harvard, but this allegation is – VANISHING! Why? Well, for one thing he helped hang three Quaker – one of them a woman who was spared, only to be hung a year later. John wrote a ballad about this hanging that was sung by young men in Boston. Mary Dyer has given birth to a monster, that was the subject of the song? I have posted on Wilson inspiring our Constitution is regards to Freedom of Religion and the Right to bare Arms. When did women get the right to vote? When did the first black man cast a vote in the United States? Did, Rev. John Wilson Jr. want to distant himself from…….the song? Did Junior read his father’s poem honoring their kin Joseph Brisco? Was this poem one of the first to be penned in the New World? Why hasn’t Harvard done what I have done – in my FIRST POST on these matters?

Let us do Júnior first. He was born at Windsor Castle. His mother was reluctant to come to America. Who was she close with at the Royal Resident? She was a British Subject in America. Is she related to any of The First Citizens of the United States of America? Consider President Trump’s messing with Citisnedhip Rights – and pasroding Insureectioniist who claim they are on the side of of Jesus. They now have a diploma from Jesus and our Presidient – to damn well what they please, How many read the Bible or went to College?

The Eighth Wonder of the World is why no one has given me a penny in funding. A hundred million dollars was spent on Harvard Slavery Remembrance Program, How much money has Harvard spent on all its programs since it was founded – and they know mi thing about their Founders? Something went wrong. Ed and Mark – hated my genealogical study! Ed is dead,

A federal judge temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order ending the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship for babies born in the United States whose parents are not citizens or lawful permanent residents. U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour ruled Thursday, Jan. 23, calling the executive order “blatantly unconstitutional.”

On 27 October 1659 three Quakers—Marmaduke Stevenson, William Robinson and Mary Dyer—were led to the Boston gallows from the prison where they had been recently held for their Quaker evangelism, against which Massachusetts had enacted very strict laws. Wilson, now nearly 70, as pastor of the Boston church was on hand as the supervising minister. As the two Quaker men first approached the gallows, wearing hats, Wilson said to Robinson, “Shall such jacks as you come in before authority with your hats on?”[58] Ignoring the barb, Robinson then let forth a barrage of words, to which Wilson angrily responded, “Hold thy tongue, be silent; thou art going to die with a lie in your mouth.”[59] The two Quaker men were then hanged, after which it was Dyer’s turn to ascend the ladder. As the noose was fastened about her neck, and her face covered, a young man came running and shouting, wielding a document which he waved before the authorities. Governor Endecott had stayed her execution.[60] After the two executions had taken place, Wilson was said to have written a ballad about the event, which was sung by young men around Boston.[61]

Before leaving Boston, Mary had given birth to a severely deformed infant that was stillborn. Because of the religious superstitions of the time regarding such a birth, the baby was buried secretly. When the Massachusetts authorities learned of this birth, the ordeal became public, and in the minds of the colony’s ministers and magistrates, the monstrous birth was clearly a result of Mary’s “monstrous” religious opinions. More than a decade later, in late 1651, Mary Dyer boarded a ship for England, and stayed there for over five years, during which time she converted to Quakerism. Because Quakers were considered among the most dangerous of heretics by the Puritans, Massachusetts enacted several laws against them. When Dyer returned to Boston from England, she was immediately imprisoned and then banished. Defying her order of banishment, she was again banished, this time upon pain of death. Deciding that she would die as a martyr if the anti-Quaker laws were not repealed, Dyer once again returned to Boston and was sent to the gallows in 1659, having the rope around her neck when a reprieve was announced. She returned once more to Boston the following year and was then hanged—the third of four Quaker martyrs.

Harvard University has laid off the staff of its Harvard Slavery Remembrance Program, the unit of its $100 million Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery initiative tasked with identifying the direct descendants of those enslaved by Harvard affiliates.

Instead, the work will be continued by American Ancestors, a New England-based genealogical nonprofit. American Ancestors is currently one of HSRP’s external research partners, and they will now be leading the project in full.

Employees were notified Thursday shortly after 11 a.m. that they had been terminated, effective that day, according to HSRP Director Richard J. Cellini and research fellow Wayne W. Tucker. They were not given any advance notice of the decision or informed that the layoffs were being considered, Cellini and Tucker added. Cellini was notified of his termination less than one hour before the remainder of the team.

The sudden move came just one week after HSRP researchers met with the prime minister and governor general of Antigua and Barbuda to discuss a potential ground research presence in the country. Cellini and his team visited the island nation after HSRP discovered “several hundred people” enslaved by Harvard affiliates in the region between 1660 and 1815.

That number added to the more than 300 individuals enslaved by Harvard affiliates that HSRP had already identified. As of September, the team had also identified more than 100 living descendants.

Staff members were not given a reason for the team’s disbanding, according to three people who were laid off Thursday. HSRP has been front and center amid controversy at the Legacy of Slavery initiative over the last few months. In September, a Crimson investigation reported that Cellini, the director, had accused Vice Provost for Special Projects Sara N. Bleich, who oversees the Legacy of Slavery initiative, of instructing HSRP “not to find too many descendants.”

“I have told officials at the highest level of the University that they only have two options: fire me, or let the HSRP do this work properly,” Cellini wrote in a September statement to The Crimson.

On Thursday, Cellini wrote in a text message: “Today Harvard fired me. So now we know.”

Harvard’s Revisionist Thanks For Giving

I sent Mark Gall a lot of the history of John Wilson. He could care less. I then sent him proof Liz Taylor was my cousin. He was high on his evangelical buddies worshipping him as ‘One of God’s Children’. I tried to tell him he was a cheerleader for Christian Nationalism, but, he chose to believe all I was doing with the $900 a month I get from SSI, was gather evidence in order – to hate Jews! After all, I dropped out of High School.

Yesterday…”More than 500 Harvard faculty signed a letter in support of its president, Claudine Gay, despite intense blowback and calls for her firing after she failed to condemn calls for the genocide of Jews.”

Why wasn’t Harvard – prepared for October 7th.? That’s the question. They should have held a meeting that day. Here’s Jacob of the Harvard Hiller center – trying to get it right! He -failed!

More than 500 Harvard faculty signed a letter in support of its president, Claudine Gay, despite intense blowback and calls for her firing after she failed to condemn calls for the genocide of Jews.

The 511 faculty members signed a letter Sunday to the Harvard Corporation urging the university to allow Gay to remain at her post — as billboard trucks circled the campus with signs reading “FIRE GAY.”

The support came as a statement is expected to be made about Gay’s future, just days after University of Pennsylvania president Liz Magill lost her job over similar testimony failing to condemn antisemitism, The Harvard Crimson said.

Despite the outrage, the faculty members said that they “urge you in the strongest possible terms to defend the independence of the university and to resist political pressures that are at odds with Harvard’s commitment to academic freedom, including calls for the removal of President Claudine Gay.”

“The critical work of defending a culture of free inquiry in our diverse community cannot proceed if we let its shape be dictated by outside forces,” they added in the letter obtained by the student paper.

The Ivy League leader has faced intense scrutiny after she failed to explicitly say that calling for the genocide of Jews would break school bullying and harassment codes while testifying in a congressional hearing on antisemitism on Tuesday.

History professor Derek J. Penslar said that faculty have a wide range of views on Gay’s testimony and leadership — but felt that her firing should not be swayed by politicians and other outsiders.

“I don’t think that signing this letter is an exoneration of the University for its handling of issues involving antisemitism and Islamophobia over the last couple of months,” Penslar said.

In response to the backlash for her testimony, Gay apologized for her remarks.

“I am sorry. Words matter,” Gay said during an interview with the Harvard Crimson on Thursday.

House Speaker Mike Johnson

With a partial government shutdown looming in less than a week, US Speaker of the House Mike Johnson unveiled a two-step plan on Saturday to fund the government through the new year. The stopgap funding bill, often referred to as a “continuing resolution,” would extend funding for several federal agencies until late January, while the rest of the government would be funded through early February.

Johnson defended the bill as bucking “the absurd holiday-season omnibus tradition of massive, loaded up spending bills introduced right before the Christmas recess,” in a post on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

Here is a Christian Viper and New Pharisee born of THE STONES that raised up our Capitol. Johnson and his Den of Vipers nested in the Christian Legal Society where they lay many viper eggs – that have hatched, and are the new branch of Abraham.

Write your Congressman and bid them to put pressure on the Speaker of the House – to EXPOSE THE BIG LIE, and bid Christians not to vote for Trump, and ask Jesus for – FORGIVENESS!

John ‘The Nazarite’

Johnson was elected class president and president of the Christian Legal Society. During his tenure in law school, he volunteered for the Louisiana Family Forum, an affiliate of the Family Research Council, a Christian conservative advocacy organization.

Mission
Christian Legal Society is a fellowship of Christians dedicated to serving Jesus Christ through the practice and study of law, the defense of religious freedom and life, and the provision of legal aid to the needy.

Vision
Christian Legal Society, founded in 1961, seeks to fulfill God’s command found in Micah 6:8 by bringing glory to God by inspiring, encouraging, and equipping Christian attorneys and law students, both individually and in community, to proclaim, love, and serve Jesus Christ through the study and practice of law, through the provision of legal assistance to the poor and needy, and through the defense of the inalienable rights to life and religious freedom.

  • To proclaim Jesus as Lord through all we do;
  • To defend the religious freedom of all Americans through the legislatures and courts;
  • To defend the religious freedom of students to gather on their campuses as Christian organizations;
  • To promote justice for the poor, religious freedom, sanctity of human life, and biblical conflict resolution;
  • To encourage Christian attorneys to view law as a ministry and help them integrate faith and their legal practice;
  • To provide Christian attorneys a means of society and fellowship;
  • To encourage and disciple Christian law professors and students;
  • To provide a forum for discussing issues related to Christianity and the law;
  • To encourage attorneys and law students to serve the poor and needy.

Following graduation from Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, Johnson received a B.S. in business administration (1995) from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge. As an undergraduate, he was a member of the Order of Omega honor society and Kappa Sigma fraternity, and he served as president of the LSU Interfraternity Council. While earning a law degree (1998) at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Johnson was elected class president and president of the Christian Legal Society. During his tenure in law school, he volunteered for the Louisiana Family Forum, an affiliate of the Family Research Council, a Christian conservative advocacy organization.

Oregon Governorship vs. U.S. Supreme Court

Posted on August 4, 2023 by Royal Rosamond Press

Sound and fury, signifying nothing: A glance at the Oregon governor's race

At 8:21 A.M. on August 4, 2023, I sent the following message to the Governor of Oregon.

Dear Governor Kotek.

Due to my theological discoveries, that Jesus and Paul were against the Laws of Moses, I suggest you convene a Blue Ribbon Panel that would rule on the claim made by Christian Leaders, and Christian Lawmakers, that Jesus, God, and Paul bid them to be more involved in making and passing laws that pertains to both books of the Bible.

The truth is, for Christians to be involved in Law Making, and Law Abiding, is to go against the tenets of Christianity, where Jesus offers no legal defense to the High Priest and Pontius Pilate. This fact is key in the trial of ex-president, Donald Trump, who signed many Bills making them Law, and his appointment of three Christians to the Supreme Court – that repealed Roe vs. Wade, and thus should be rendered null and void, because the repeal was Christian-Lawmaking. This goes against the Constitution that does not allow attacks on the tenets of any religion. Was Paul’s ruling on circumcision aimed at being inclusive of Gentiles? Or, did Paul deliberately create a schism in order to hijack the core religion of the Jews?? Schism is Christianity’s middle name, nd thus Christian Schisms are being introduced into our Secular Government.

The claim by Trump after his first arraignment, that Christians are being discriminated against “as a religion” is false. No other President has dared utter such a decree that I am sure is extended to Trump’s latest indictment. Donald Trump has weaponized our Democracy, and the predominate religion in America, and he does not have Paul’s or Jesu’s’ permission to do so. For this reason I am seeking to bring a lawsuit against the members of the Supreme Court, who believe they are doing the work of Jesus and Paul. I also want to sue the Oregon Republican Lawmakers who walked out – in the name of religion, because the Democratic Lawmakers were not religious enough.

I ran in the Oregon Primary for Governor and received 172 votes – that I hold sacred. I feel it is my duty to give my voters the best Government and Religion – possible. Paul clams “love” replaces The Law. It is my hope the Blue Ribbon Panel looks at this Christian Love, to see if it is offered to Democrats. I became a Republican after Obama was elected, because my kin, John Fremont, co-founded this party, and I wanted to carry on family traditions in hope of preventing a Hateful National Divide, like the schism over circumcision created between the Jews and Gentiles. Alas, there is a Democracy in the world that can consider these matters, because We the People are The Nation of Democratic Laws. Jesus and Paul – are dead. We need no one to speak for us. Show me….The Laws of Jesus!

Sincerley

John Presco

Presidential Candidate

“We’re being discriminated against as a religion. We’re being discriminated against as a faith. And we can’t let that continue,” the twice-impeached leader said. “The main thing that our country needs again is religion… I want you to pray really hard, because we have to have a victory in 2024.”

If you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you. And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law. You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace….

[I]n Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything

but faith working through love….

“Answerest thou nothing?”

You have said it”

“In the Gospel accounts, Jesus speaks very little and gives very infrequent and indirect answers to the priests’ questions, according to John 18:22, prompting an officer to slap him”

This is the post that I sent to Kim Haffner that our neighbor Krista saw. I believe she is a rabid End Time evangelical computer freak. I get to criticize her and anyone’s religion in my blog/newspaper. She and her lover do not get to launch physical attacks, and make threats aimed at retaliation. The threat to get rid of Clark is in response to this post. Krista is a monster hog woman who was smug in her belief no non-Christian could attack the heretical teaching of John Darby, who invented the Rapture. Because of my illustrious ancestors, she had to believe I was in league with the Anti-Christ, and went insane. She and her lover should be locked up.

Several researchers say my 9th. grandfather is buried in a vault under King’s Chapel in Boston, but, his remains and coffin have not been found. There is a hidden room, that contains his massive folio of writing. He wrote many poems in Latin. Rena Easton was supposed to come to Boston in 1970. She is destined to find Wilson’s bones with me, and commit to memory my kin’s work. My twice named unborn granddaughter, is destined to own the Wilson legacy. She too will own an amazing memory. Lara Roozemond is my kindred. She is coming to believe in her destiny, and moves into the Realm of the Rose in the Water of Eternal Life!

The insane and deluded Evangelical President is meeting with a Russian Warlock today in order to decide the fate of America found by the Wilsons. Trump has the Attorney General on the leash of The Devil, and has ordered him to destroy the FBI and the Department of Justice. The Southern Baptist Hersey is the bodyguard of a Lying Lunatic – who is Impeached! Of course Trump and Melania want to find the Fountain of Youth. The First Lady is one-hundred a eighty-six years old!

Elizabeth (Mansfield) Wilson was the daughter of John (1553 – 1601) and Elizabeth Isabel (Leigh) Mansfield,(1570 – 1634) she was baptized 3 December 1592 at Henley-on-Thames, Oxford. She married the Rev. John Wilson about 1617, She died about 1658. She did not accompany her husband to Massachusetts Bay in 1630, and her unwillingness to come to New England was the subject of several letters from Margaret Winthrop to her son John in May 1631; she first reported that “Mr. Wilson is now in London and promised me to come and see you. He cannot yet persuade his wife to go, for all he hath taken this pains to come and fetch her. I marvel what mettle she is made on. Sure she will yield at last, or else we shall want him exceedingly in New England.” In her second letter she noted that WILLIAM CODDINGTON “is gone to Sudbury to Mr. Wilson,” and in her third letter that “if he go it must be without his wife’s consent, for she is more averse than ever she was.” John Wilson’s wife did return with him in 1632, however, for they had a child born and baptized in Boston in 1633. When John Wilson made a second trip to England in 1634, she was “at first very much affected with her husband’s departure, but she is now well pacified” They had four children: Edmund, John, Elizabeth Rogers, and Mary (Wilson) Danforth Rock. Elizabeth Wilson was sister of JOHN MANSFIELD {1635, Boston} & of Anne (Mansfield) Keayne, wife of ROBERT KEAYNE {1635, Boston}. Her husband was uncle of EDWARD RAWSON {1637, Newbury} & of Dorothy (Sheafe) Whitfield, wife of Henry WHITFIELD (1639, Guilford), and related in some way to Simon BIRD (1635, Boston). Biography for Rev. John Wilson:

WILSON, John, clergyman, born in Windsor, England, in 1588; died in Boston, Massachusetts, 7 August 1667. Young Wilson was educated at Eton and at Cambridge, where he was graduated about 1606. He studied law for three years at one of the inns of court, and took orders in the Church of England, but soon became conspicuous for his Puritanical leanings, he preached at Mortlake, Henley, Bumstead, Stoke, Clare, and Candish, and for several years was minister of Sudbury, Essex, where he was repeatedly suspended or silenced by the bishop’s court for his opinions, but was befriended by Robert Rich, Earl of Warwick. Becoming interested in the colonization of Massachusetts, he and many of his neighbors embarked on 8 April 1630, in the great fleet with John Winthrop and his associates of the Massachusetts company. He landed at Salem on 12 June, and soon afterward removed to Charlestown, where he preached under a tree, and on 30 July organized what was subsequently the 1st church in Boston, to which place the majority of the members soon removed. He was ordained teacher of the church on 27 August by the imposition of hands by the several communicants. In 1631 he sailed for England, where he remained until May 1632 and was ordained pastor in November of the latter year. He again visited England in the autumn of 1634 and remained absent a year. Soon after his return, the Antinomian controversy arose in his congregation, and Governor Winthrop and Wilson fought stoutly against the faction that was led by Anne Hutchinson. While this discussion was pending, an expedition was sent against the Pequots, and Mr. Wilson was selected by lot as its chaplain. He outlived two colleagues in the ministry, John Cotton and John Norton, and was left at the age of seventy-six with the entire charge of his congregation on his hands. He continued in the active discharge of his duties until finally disabled by a fatal disease.

There is a stone that is attributed to carver William Mumford that has carving for Rev. John Wilson on it however the stone is for Walter Newbery (1647-1697 Memorial #31866577). 90 degrees to the carving for Walter Newbery is the other carving. “…THE BODY OF MR JOHN WIL___/ ___OD HERE TO FORE RECTOR OF ___________/ HERE LIETH BURIED ELIZABETH WILSON/THE WIFE LATELY FOR 45 YEARS TOGETHER/ JOHN WILSON IN THE SAME PLAT OR ___/HEARE TO THE BODY OF ISAAC JOHNSON _____/____SH OF BLESSED MEMORIE WAITING ___/____SSED APPEARANCE OF OUR LORD____/ ______OF 3______.” Perhaps Mumford was carving Wilson’s stone and for some unknown reason, he decided to scrap that, rotate the stone, and use it for someone else.

Put simply, Step 5 is the point in the process in which one will speak openly and honestly about their struggles with addiction, with focus on how they harmed themselves and others through their actions and behaviors. This confession should be honest, and can begin in a written form and evolve into conversations.

Upon his second return to the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1635, Anne Hutchinson was first exposed to his preaching, and found an unhappy difference between his theology and that of her mentor, John Cotton, who was the other Boston minister. The theologically astute, sharp-minded, and outspoken Hutchinson, who had been hosting large groups of followers in her home, began to criticize Wilson, and the divide erupted into the Antinomian Controversy. Hutchinson was eventually tried and banished from the colony, as was her brother-in-law, Reverend John Wheelwright.

Following the controversy, Wilson and Cotton were able to work together to heal the divisions within the Boston church, but after Cotton’s death, more controversy befell Boston as the Quakers began to infiltrate the orthodox colony with their evangelists. Greatly opposed to their theology, Wilson supported the actions taken against them, and supervised the execution of his former parishioner, Mary Dyer in 1660. He died in 1667, the longest-lived of the early ministers in the Boston area, and his passing was lamented by those who knew him and worked with him, but he is also remembered for the roles he played in the persecution of those who did not embrace the Puritan orthodoxy.

About Rev. John Wilson

John “had the benefit of joining the church of his father 3 Mar. 1644, but was not freeman until 1647, ordained as colleague with Rev. Richard Mather at Dorchester in 1649, but contined only two years and was then setted at Medfield.”12

ca 1647 John married Sarah Hooker, daughter of Rev. Thomas Hooker (ca 1586-7 Jul 1647) & Susanna Garbrand (1593-17 May 1676). Born ca 1630 in Essex, England.19 Sarah died on 20 Aug 1725 in Braintree, MA.49

SARAH HOOKER was born in the Little Baddow section of Chelmsford, Essex, England, in 1629. She came to America with her father. She was planning her wedding when her father, the Rev. THOMAS HOOKER, died suddenly. She and JOHN married shortly thereafter.

In 1651, they removed to Medfield, Norfolk, MA, where Rev. JOHN WILSON, Jr., was the first minister of that town, and he remained there until his death, Aug. 23, 1691.

SARAH moved to Braintree, Middlesex, MA, and died there, Aug. 8, 1725

William was the son of The Rev. Guy and Mary (Wilson) Briscowe. William Bristow was the son of the rector, “Guy Bristow,” M.A., who entered his rectorship offically on 16 April 1583. He was previously the rector of High Halstow, beginning on 19 April 1677 and concluding on 21 July 1583, an overlap with his Sundridge duties. He died 2 April 1795.[1] William was named in his father’s will, probated March 1594. [2]

WILLIAM BRISCOE / BRISTOW was baptised at St. Mary’s Church in Sundridge, co. Kent on 29 June 1591.[3]

In 1633, William was named as a beneficiary in the last will and testament of his cousin, Edmund Wilson, M.D.[4]

It is likely that after the death of his father, William settled in Watford, Hertfordshire, the home of one of his father’s cousins. Austin W. Spencer has published a fascinating article about the family that provides evidence relating to William, his wife, children, and his subsequent move to the Colonies. [5]

William married Jane (maiden name unknown), probably by 1617, when Thomas the son of Wm Brisco was baptised at St. Mary in Watford. William’s first wife, Jane, was buried at St. Mary in Watford on 03 May 1637.

The article includes the parish records for Watford show the following children born to William Briscowe:

Baptisms:

“1619 October, Daniel son of wm Brisco and Jane his wife 20th day.

1621 Aprill, Nathaniel, sonn of wm Briscoe and Jane his wife, 8.

1623 October, John, Son of Williã Brischoe & Jane his wife—27.

1624 October, William, sonne of W.m & Jane Briscoe—24.

1625/6 March, Elizabeth, daughter of Wm [interlined: &.] Jane Briscoe— 5.

1627 August, Joseph, Sonne of William and Jane Briscoe—19

1629 Aprill, Beniamin, sonne of William and Jane Briscoe—19

1631/2 February, Lidia daughter of William and Jane Brisco—26

1639 Aprill, Ezekiell sonne of Willyam & Sislee Bisco[8]—i6″

According to the book The Ancestry and Descendants of Rev. John Wilson, William, born 1590, “emigrated to New England in 1639, and settled in Boston, leaving, with other issue, a son Benjamin.”[6]

“William Briscoe, taylor, is Allowed to be an Inhabitant, and to have a great Lott, for eight heads, at the mount.” This marks the first appearance of William Briscoe in the records of New England, at Boston, 24 February 1639.[7]

William likely died before 1677, as William is not mentioned in the will of his cousin, Rev. John Wilson, though his son, Benjamin, is mentioned. In 1677, the Rev. John Wilson of Boston named his cousin, Benjamin Briscowe, as a beneficiary of his last will and testament.[8]

Note, in Colonial records, the last name is spelled “Briscoe.”

Joseph Brisco/Briscoe

Origin

Joseph was born in Boston in August 1658. He was the son of Joseph Briscoe and Abigail Compton. His father died by drowning several months before Joseph (Jr) was born. His mother remarried, to Abraham Busby in September, 1659.[1]

Joseph inherited a few things from his maternal grandmother, Susannah Compton, who left a will (proved 12 November 1664) in which she left everything to “my little grandchild Joseph Brisco.”[1].

https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/themelios/article/why-we-need-the-puritans/ Now it is here, on the pastoral front, that today’s evangelical Christians most need help. Our numbers, it seems, have increased in recent years, and a new interest in the old paths of evangelical theology has grown. For this we should thank God. But not all evangelical zeal is according to knowledge, nor do the virtues and values of the biblical Christian life always come together as they should, and three groups in particular in today’s evangelical world seem very obviously to need help of a kind that the Puritans, as we meet them in their writings, are uniquely qualified to give. These I call restless experientialists, entrenched intellectualists, and disaffected deviationists. They are not, of course, organized bodies of opinion, but individual persons with characteristic mentalities that one meets over and over again. Take them, now

Harvard University Expands Partnership with American Ancestors in Support of Slavery Remembrance Program

Harvard University has expanded its existing partnership with American Ancestors, a national center for family history, heritage, and culture, and the oldest genealogical nonprofit in America. As part of the next phase of the Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Initiative, American Ancestors – which has been conducting the genealogical research on behalf of the University to identify those who were enslaved by Harvard leadership, faculty, or staff, and those who are their direct descendants – will now take the lead role in advancing the work of the initiative’s Harvard Slavery Remembrance Program.

American Ancestors’ partnership on the Remembrance Program research was established in 2022 following the release of the report and recommendations of the Presidential Committee on Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery. The University accepted the recommendations and began the work to “identify the direct descendants of enslaved individuals who labored on Harvard’s campus and of those who were enslaved by Harvard leadership, faculty, or staff.”

“American Ancestors is recognized globally for the thoughtfulness and rigor of its research efforts, and we are excited to expand what has been a strong collaboration in support of our goals,” Harvard University President Alan M. Garber said. “Over the last two and a half years, we have made important progress toward fulfilling the recommendations of the Presidential Committee, and we look forward to the expertise and skill with which American Ancestors will continue to build on the foundation we laid in 2022.”

Building on the important groundwork laid by the Harvard Slavery Remembrance Program, American Ancestors will continue the program’s work of identifying Harvard leaders, faculty, or staff who enslaved others and will significantly expand its own ongoing work of identifying the individuals who were enslaved and perform genealogical research to locate their living direct descendants. As this research moves forward, the University is positioning itself to be able to engage with direct descendants identified through these efforts.

Records of family lineage created from this work will also be used to engage with descendant communities and will help inform other aspects of the Initiative’s ongoing work. The University will also donate these records to the 10 Million Names project, a collaborative initiative led by American Ancestors that is dedicated to recovering the names of the estimated 10 million men, women, and children of African descent who were enslaved in pre- and post-colonial America.

“In this expanded role, American Ancestors is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professional genealogical research to uncover the identities of individuals enslaved by Harvard leadership, faculty, or staff, and to document their descendants,” said Ryan J. Woods, President and CEO of American Ancestors. “We understand from our extensive experience that tracing families descended from enslaved individuals is a complex, time-intensive process filled with significant challenges. We are committed to advancing this critical research to help Harvard establish meaningful connections and engagement with living descendants.”

“Thanks to the extensive work they have already done on the genealogies of enslaved people, American Ancestors brings an exceptional ability to scale the enormous effort the university has ahead of it,” said Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Advisory Council member, director of the Hutchins Center for African and African American Studies, and the Alphonse Fletcher University Professor at Harvard University, who also serves as an Honorary Trustee of American Ancestors and a member of the Advisory Board for 10 Million Names. “The University takes seriously the thoughtfulness and care that will go into engaging with living direct descendants, and that engagement will be based around rigorous and thorough research this partnership will advance in literally rebuilding family histories.”

The expansion of the partnership with American Ancestors coincides with other steps Harvard has taken as it looks to the next phase of the overall work of the Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Initiative. Over the last two years, the Initiative has established partnerships and programs driven by the recommendations outlined in the report. In September, the Initiative announced the appointment of a new Advisory Council, made up of faculty, including eminent historians, from across the University and local leaders that are helping guide the next phase of implementation.

“In just over two years, we have taken significant steps to advance the mission of the Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Initiative,” said Sara Bleich, vice provost for special projects and the leader of the Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Initiative. “Our partnership with American Ancestors has been and will continue to be absolutely critical to this progress, and we are thrilled that they are taking on this expanded role to advance the research.”

Since establishing the Remembrance Program under the leadership of Richard Cellini, an attorney and researcher, the University has been able to lay a foundation and build the initial infrastructure to make important progress on the research and work. With this expanded partnership, American Ancestors will now build on this foundation as work moves forward into the next phase.

“Richard Cellini’s superb efforts launched us on our way on this historically important mission, and now it is time for American Ancestors to take the lead in what will be a systematic, scholarly sustained effort to establish the facts about this dark chapter in our university’s history, and begin the long journey of healing,” said Professor Gates. “We are indebted to Richard for his early guidance and his ambitious leadership.”

American Ancestors is a national center dedicated to the study of family history, heritage, and culture that serves 433,000 members and subscribers, and hosts a website featuring 1.4 billion searchable family names. The nonprofit organization’s Boston-based headquarters are home to the Brim-DeForest Library, the Wyner Family Jewish Heritage Center, and the Family Heritage Experience, an exhibit-based journey of discovery that will open in April 2025.

The History & Ancestry of the Bulkeley Family

The Bulkeley Family History Exhibit is generously sponsored by the Bulkeley Endowment Fund.

Reverend Peter Bulkeley

The Bulkeley Family traces its English roots to the town of Bulkeley in the County of Chester, where around 1200 Robert de Bulkileh was the Lord of the Manor. In 1583 Peter was born to the Reverend Edward and Olive Bulekely. Following his education, in 1608 Peter was ordained and succeeded his father as Rector of All Saints Church in Odell in Bedfordshire in 1610. The Reverend Peter Bulkeley was attracted to the Puritan ideals and in 1635, to escape persecution by the Church of England hierarchy, the Reverend, his wife Grace and their three young sons fled England for the New World. The passage was slow, with the family arriving in Boston in mid-summer of 1635. The family soon settled in Concord, Massachusetts, a town they help found. Grace gave birth to a son, Gershom, a few months later.

Gershom Bulkeley

Gershom Bulkeley graduated from Harvard, married the daughter of Harvard’s president and sailed to New London, Connecticut in 1660. Gershom served as minister in New London until 1666 when he was invited to lead the ministry in the town of Wethersfield. He remained there until 1677 when he moved to Glastonbury to practice medicine, surgery and politics. Gershom died in 1713 at the age of 77 and is buried in the old Wethersfield burial ground under a fine tablestone.

Reverend John Bulkeley

Gershom and Sara Bulkeley’s son, John, became the first minister of the first church in Colchester in 1703. The Reverend John Bulkeley’s original meetinghouse was located on Old Hebron Road and was replaced by a more centrally located church in 1714. In 1771 a replica of the Old South Church is Boston was built facing Linwood Avenue. Around 1839 this structure was torn down and was replaced by the present building. In 1949 the Colchester Federated Church was established when the congregation merged with the Baptist Church.

Eliphalet Bulkeley

One hundred years after the arrival of the Reverend John Bulkeley, Eliphalet Adams Bulkeley was born in 1803, the fifth generation of Bulkeleys to live in Colchester. Eliphalet graduated from Bacon Academy in 1820 and Yale University in 1824. He practiced law in Lebanon, Connecticut, later becoming the first President of the East Haddam Bank and in 1834 was elected Representative in the Connecticut State Legislature. He moved with his family to Hartford in 1847 and was again elected to the State Legislature, becoming Speaker of the House. He founded Aetna Life Insurance Company in 1853 and remained until his death in 1872.

Morgan BulkeleyMorgan Bulkeley

Morgan Gardner Bulkeley was born to Eliphalet and Lydia Bulkeley in 1837 in East Haddam, Connecticut but spent much of his time with family members in Colchester. At the age of 14 he worked in this uncle’s store in Brooklyn, New York, becoming a business partner at 21. He returned to Hartford in 1872 after his father’s death eventually becoming President of Aetna Life Insurance Company until his death in 1922. While in Hartford he was elected Mayor in 1880 and was elected Governor of Connecticut in 1888. In 1896 he was an unsuccessful candidate for Vice President of the United States on the McKinley ticket but in 1905 he was elected to the US Senate. An avid sports fan, he became part of the first class elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937, having served as president of the National Baseball League in 1876.

My Blood Is Not Blue?

I spent allot of my day, texting my old friend, Peter Shapiro, about our mutual friend, Christine Wandel, who said this when I suggested we might get a place together on Beacon Hill. She knew I lived there in 1971. I suspect she was jealous.

“You’re blood isn’t blue. You can’t live there!”

I told her l like to fantasize and shop for homes on Zillow. I told her about this townhouse in Alameda looking out at the Bay Bridge and San Francisco. Then I talked about us living on Beacon Hill – again! She snapped at me, and made a rude declaration, that in hindsight began the Second Civil War, because I told Peter;

“My ancestor is a Captain of the Constitution, and I’m going to – blow her dingy out of the water!”

Earlier I had seen Lindsey on the news responding to the idea he should be charged for Insurrection. My ancestors were Patriots in South Carolina, as were the ancestors of Dottie Witherspoon – who I saved! Christine is now telling me – I am not worthy to save her life! I wonder who is – Donald Trump?

BINGO!

Wandel is acting like she is telling her life story to a Right-wing Insurrectionist – who may have read my blog! She regrets being part of the promotion of LSD – as does Ken Babbs – who bathes in the glow of being the Last Hippie Leftist Standing! What about me? Both Ken’s bonded with boring women – while I got a Beacon Hill Hellion on my hands! Look how Wandel keeps on the attack, even though the artist Stefan Eins has a strong grip on her arm.. C is trying to stop a Euro-Skank from giving the traditional Euro greeting.

“No woman is going to put her lips on my man!”

I’m going to start Psychodrama Gardening Therapy and charge folks allot to garden and work out their issues – while Babbs gets ready to thrw out another ball at the Em’s game!

BORING!

Why do I get all the Girly Action?

John Presco

The purpose for this Happening was to link the psychedelic tribes from the west and the east. Many people tend to remember the east tribe because of Timothy Leary and LSD. Many misjudgments have been made on the Pranksters and their promotion of LSD. However, Babbs makes it clear that “just because we used LSD does not mean we were promoting its use. (LSD) is a dangerous drug…[It’s] a way, I guess, of breaking down the conformist ideology.”[2]

On Friday, we learned that a special grand jury recommended a few dozen people for indictment, including 21 people who weren’t. Graham was among those recommended for charges but who face none. (Trump and 18 others were indicted.)

That’s a shame because Graham was open-eyed in his complicity. He is the king of Trump’s sycophants.

Defying the Boston Mafia

Above is me in 1971. I lived on Beacon Hill in this apartment building. I had unlimited guts. I took on the whole world.

In 1971 my attorney told those who refused to move out of our home on 40 Anderson Street, a four story building on Beacon Hill, to move to the top floor for our safety. I was in a legal battle with the brother-in-law of the head of Boston’s Mafia, and they were losing. This guy was a top-notch attorney. The owner of the grocery store down the street who liked me, said;

“They want their building back. They will hurt you.”

When I heard the door being kicked in on the main floor, I rushed downstairs to find the door to the old managers apartment knocked off its hinges. Then I heard the awful sound of the squatter’s three month old black lab having its throat cut. I shouted;

“Get out there!”

There was silence, and then this question;

“Are you the manager?”

“Yes! Get out!”

“You come in here!”
“We got something for you!” said the second voice.

When I refused, they came out carrying bloody knives. I stood my ground. Just them, Shaheb let out a long blast from his horn. He was on the steps with three of my neighbors. These demons folded their knives, walked passed me with smirks on their face, and were out the door. I rushed to find the puppy. I almost fainted when I saw its blood smeared on every wall. I went in search of her and found her body stuffed behind the toilet. I picked her up. She was still warm. I began to cry. I began to wipe her blood off the walls before her owners came home. When they did, I was still crying because it was my vanity, our vanity, that killed her. She was completely innocent. She didn’t have a clue about the battle for the building she lived in. She was happy. She was horrified by the cruelty inflicted on her. I will forever hear her cries.

We won our case. No one likes killers of puppies. Not ever the mob bosses. This is when Shaheb told me he was considering getting guns to fight for the building that was sold in auction to a family construction company who never made the changes they said they were. It took all the light I could muster to talk Shaheb out of a armed stand-off.

Saving Dottie Witherspoon

Posted on September 12, 2011 by Royal Rosamond Press

Tonight, The Tea Party Express, will be having a televised debate. For the most part, the Tea Party is the latest cult to come down the turnpike in order to save America. Most tea party members, are Jesus Freaks disguised at capitalistic Patriots, verses, Leftist anti capitalist Hippy Socialist who want America to be a Communal Welfare State modeled after the old fashioned Jesus, before he was remodeled by Dick Armey to be the second coming of Howard Roarke, who rapes his love-object who is playing female sex games in order to own power in Industrial America, the land of Rich He-men. So much for the Woman’s Movement. It’s back to old fashioned values where women wore Quaker dresses, like the ones worn at the Lighthouse Ranch, where Dottie Witherspoon took our Blue Tick hound dog, when she ran away to find Jesus.

Thanks Dottie! This is how I am treated after – I SAVED YOU?

I met Dottie through my friend, Michelle, who I met a year earlier. She was a member of The Process. She wore a long black robe with a hood. Her younger friend wore a blue cape, because she was a novice. I fell for the novice, and we became lovers. I would later rescue Michelle from a Mafia chief. But, lets save that story for another day.

Dottie was Michelle’s naive roommate, who had come to Boston from South Carolina. Michelle was concerned for Dottie because she was going to move back to New Orleans, and she was a babe in the woods. On cue, into Dottie’s apartment comes Devil Boy, a weasel like entity that had taken acid and was proud of his witchy powers he had discovered within. To prove to me he had the right stuff, he points his finger at Dottie’s cat, and shot it with a jolt of bad energy. The cat thought she was going to be petted, approached, purring, and now winces after being dosed with bad energy. I was not impressed.

“You’re a little shit, aren’t you? How would you feel if I did that to you?”

I watched Devil Boy wince, he looking in my eyes wondering why I was not afraid of his black magic. We had our Clint Eastwood moment, and he left, never to return. I moved in and became Dotties lover. The cat fell in love with me, and followed me like a little puppy when we went to the park. That’s us up in a tree.

Above is a photo of Girmson the head of the Process, and Mel Lyman wearing shades. Mel married Jessie Benton the daughter of the famous artist, Thomas Hart Benton, Garth Benton’s cousin. The children in the tree are Mel’s children, some born from Benton’s womb. Thanks to my genealogical research, these folks are kin to the Royal Stewarts. Mel claimed he is God, an Avatar, thus, God is my kinfolk.

I watched allot of 911 programs yesterday, everyone of them declaring “America will never be the same.”

They said the same thing about the Charlie Manson murders, and the Jim Jones Jesus cult suicides. Then there is David Koresh and Waco. What these folks have in common is the hatred of Government. Jone’s generals murdered Congressman Ryan, shot him dead with a rifle. Then Reverand Jim brought out the big vats of poisoned Cool-aid. Today, weak willed folks are woofing down that Tea Bag Espresso and carrying guns to rallies. Yeehaw!

Nope! It’s the same ol America, full of religious nuts fleeing real civilization because for the most part, they are insane! Osama Bin Laden was a religious fanatic trained by the U.S. Government to bring down the Evil Empire of Socialist Communalism. When the CIA betrayed him, Bin went after Anne Rand’s hero high atop the Trade Tower. The rest is common American History!

The Lighthouse Ranch was one of the Christian communes I was involved with when I was a new Christian in the Jesus Movement. I lived at a Christian commune called Living Waters in Whitethorn, Calif. for a couple of months. Living Waters was a part of The Lighthouse Ranch. On Sundays we meaning all the members of the different communes met at a church for worship and dinner. Durkin oftened preached or taught the Bible. The commune Living Waters had around a couple hundred people living on a large tract of land. We often would go to Eureka to work or for fellowship.
I remember all the Jesus Freaks around Living Waters coming for weekends of worship, praise and teaching. There would be up to 500 people at these gatherings of Jesus People. I will never forget the worship services of hundreds men, women and children singing in tongues and dancing in the Spirit.
I lived at Living Waters for couple of months and left due to lack of women and food. I still have a small Good News for Modern Man NT I bought around that time. I still miss the spiritual fellowship of those days of long ago. I suppose I am still looking, longing, and searching for the kind of spiritual fellowship I had with Jesus Freaks here among the Dutch Reformed.

Cat Down On Hancock Street

The Portrait At Hancock Street

At the end of our two hour Halloween talk, Christine Wandel tells me she got a letter from her “fake mother” informing her her cat had to be put down after it attacked her “fake sister” Louise.

“What color was the cat?” I asked my friend of fifty-four years.

“White.” Christine told me, and I got chills.

“What color were it’s eyes?” I asked.

“I don’t recall.”

“Think. This is very important! Where did you get that cat.

“From a cat farm outside Boston.”

“You made a special trip. Was it a special cat?”

“It was special to me.”

“Did it have blue eyes? The reason I ask is because in my novel ‘The Gideon Computer’ you (Monica) own a stuffed white lama given to you by your father, And – it has blue eyes! Your father had blue eyes. Were they the same color as my eyes?”

“When did you write this book?”

“I began it in 1986 after my friend Nancy suggested I author the history of the hippies. I thought if I wrote about The Last Hippie, I could better tell our story. This book began to come true. This is why I got sober. The head of Serenity Lane thinks I am a walk-in. But, I believe I am a Futurian. Who was in the car with you?”

I told Christine that I highly suspect Lousie wanted her dead. I was told her fake sister beat her up all the time, and no one came to her rescue. I suspect the appearance of Christine’s twin at school, opened a closed door. The Good Doctor owned a crystal ball and a large black Chrysler. He sent his daughter to a college as far away from Louise as he could – without sending her to Europe. How about Le Rosey?

Here is a photograph of me up a tree with the cat I saved from a Warlock, when I saved Dottie Witherspoon. It would walk with us to the park – to play with her dog-friends. I was going to ask Christine if she saw the movie ‘Whatever Happened To Baby Jane’, but we were weary of this look into a glass darkly.

The Gideon Computer Atop Beacon Hill

Posted on November 19, 2020 by Royal Rosamond Press

After I talked to my friend, Casey Farrell, I realized I had employed my science fiction novel, The Gideon Computer, to return to Beacon Hill – in the future! It was not safe for me to do so in 1987, or 1986, because I should have died at the hands of very bad men stabbing me to death with knives – back in 1972! Being a Futurian can be confusing. Memory loss – works both ways! I suspect Casey is a Futurian, too, because he came up with a antidote for the creative condition, and not writing it down – he forgot it! This indicates it is a common antidote – of the future – that we both got a glimpse of, and, may return again in one of our hour long discussions. We are going to do a radio show, the name of, will remain a mystery – for now – excuse my pun. Edgar Allan Poe was authoring the first Science Fiction.

Six years ago Chris and Stefan bought a house together in Wilkes-Barre. They only knew each other for a month. I told Chris this may have been a very bad idea. How did she know he would not take advantage of her? He may be a famous artist, and all that, but, do all artists have a stellar reputations?

They had met at a Landlord dispute group in the Village. Christine was being evicted because she had twelve cats. Stefan came to her rescue when she began to cry, and helped find homes for most of the felines. He also painted my ex-lovers appartment – and turned it into – his museum! Hmm! Stefan was living in a hotel. Then they wanted me to buy the abandoned house next door that was about to be torn down. Christine said there was a black cat living in this ruin – that would not let her near it. I was appalled!

“You want me to spend my Trust from my uncle on a building I would not be able to live in – just to save a black cat?”

“Yes!”

“You’re insane!”

Then Christine told me she believed Stefan wanted her dead so he can sell the house.

“He needs money to spend on his Euro-Skanks who have been tricked into seeing him as a great artist. But, he’s not. In half a minute, he twisted a piece of wire, and hung it on a nail!”

“Did he drive the nail into your wall?”

“No! It was already there! He is so pleased with it. He hung all this other trash next to it. We worked so hard fixing my place up. I wanted us to get married after I put him on the Deed. He squiggled this Love Contract on a piece of paper with a badly drawn heart. It’s embarrassing. He put a picture of just himself under it. I take the heart down when we have company, which doesn’t happen anymore. At a gallery, he covered my mouth when I wanted to talk about the show. The artist was asking for some input!”

One of these skanks is an artist – who tried to kiss Stefan on the mouth as a art gallery. Christine physically prevented this. The video shows the three swirling round and round. Chris throws her cup of wine on the rude woman. This artist empties her cup on Christine’s head. This skank is seen with Eins and Herman Nitsch who conducts blood crucifixion rituals. My Boston Blue Blood ended up shoving her lover into a large plastic garbage can full of cheap Dixie cups and Styrofoam paper plates.

To discover The Black Cat, by Edgar Allan Poe, allowed me to ground all my information in my Gideon Computer. Christine had called me a hundred times to make a report on the insane relationship she was having with Eins. I told her many times to not tell me about them because she was triggering my PTSD. The alleged rape of Eins with a toilet plunger by a three hundred pound homeless woman – was enough! She showed the NYPD spatters of blood on the ceiling. When she changed the locks on the door he went to the hardware store – and bought a crowbar!

“You got a hardware store in the Village? He actually slammed the crowbar down on the counter and asked in his German accent; ‘How much?”

Six years ago, I began a painting of this quarrelsome couple. On Halloween ( a year ago) I added tombstones with the name ‘Cat’ on them. I warned Chris not to be alone with Stefan at the house that I put in this work. Stefan goes once a year to tend to his statues in Austria – where the long arm of the law could not reach him. It now occurs to me Belle’s angel warned her daughter about Eins – who couldn’t wait to meet her! I told Stefan we were coming on the train.

“He’s a Doctor Strange kind of guy!”

Three years ago Peter Shapiro, who played for The Loading Zone, wanted to pay my plane fare so I could see what was going on with his old flame. Stefan was avoiding me. The Zone had played with the Grateful Dead at one of Kesey’s acid tests. Pete met our mutual lover at a college mix in 1994. Christine was going to Mill’s College. Peter formed a group called ‘Benny and The Boners’ and played at frat parties. Pete’s father was a professor at MIT. It was love at first sight. The three of us lived with the band in an old Victorian in downtown Oakland.

Oh how I miss our midnight chats coming from a park in the Village. I asked the woman who took my virginity when I was twenty, shortly after I was told by psychics I had died, if she was afraid to sit in that park at night.

“No! Many people know me, and are afraid of me. Strangers to this park pick this up. No one sits closer than ten feet. They walk around me. Predictors do not want to get hurt. A infected scratch can take them out of the hunt. They need their fix. They may have even heard rumors about ‘The Cat Lady of Greenwich Village’.”

Yam Eating Scanks

Posted on August 9, 2019by Royal Rosamond Press

When Christine told me she went to an Art Gallery opening, where on a table was a big plate of freshly nuked yams – next to cheap bottes of wine – I began to salvitate, because I saw Van Gough’s famous painting ‘The Potatoe Eaters’ . Yams are called ‘Sweet Patatoes.

“Was there a table cloth? If so, what color was it?” I wanted details. What a bi-line!

“You should have seen them. Some of them had colorfully dyed hair. They were almost eighty. It was like Easter for old hags. They made sure to wear dresses with no sleves so everyone can see their arm-flesh flapping. The more winkled – the better! Half of them were wearing black leotards with holes and rips in them.”

“Who are you talking about?”

“The scanks, the old European scanks, who came up to Stefan to get their Euro-kiss! It was disgusting. The germs! The dirty nasty scank germs. I didn’t want to catch what they got!”

This was my inspiration for my painting of Chris&Eins. I pictured them coming to the door of the gallery.

“Excuse me. Can I see your invitations?”  the scank at the door asks.

“We don’t need no invitation. We’re Yam Eaters – of the Village!”

“Oh my God! What a privilege to have you here.”

“We came to eat some yams. It says you will serve them. We love yams!”

“You Yam Eaters go way back. To Holland, I believe?”

“Yes, Holland. You have pegged us. Now can we eat some yummy yams?”

“Excuse me, art lovers! Attention! We got members of the Yam Eater tribe with us!”

This review dovetails nicely with my review of Pynchon’s ‘Inherent Vice’. I am getting to own the Big Picture, being I have been up close to very beautiful women, and, they light up your consciousness, in ways – still to be explained. They are other worldly creatures. The Greek acknowledged this – and the church – who owns thousands of naked statues.

I camped fifty days with a young woman who looked like a young Gene Tierney, who like Rena, suffered from mental illness most of her life.

The truth is, Stefan Eins is jealous of me, and not because Christine and I were real hippie lovers. It is because of the photograph I took and sent it to him that depicts a fossil of his famous horsehoe crab in the cement in downtown Springfield Oregon. I pointed out the smashed-down pipe that the citizens identified as the source of The Creature that came to dwell in their world. Was it from another planet, a planet of Yam Eaters?

“Take note of the flattened pipe. It looks like a penis that delivered The Demon Seed!” I said in my e-mail to Eins.

For five months Christine gave me a eerie report on the hole neat her radiator that she claimed her landlord had drilled in order to spy on her.

“Do you think he is using a spy camera?”

“No! I think he is using his nose – to smell if I still got too many cats!”

I finally got wise. All my life people have been punishing me, torturing me, because I own a UNLIMTED IMAGINATION that has to be from another planet. I am – alien! I was forced to grade potatoes when I was a child. My father was The Spud King! His secretaries called him Vic The Nazi – to his face!

“This battered pipe represents the oppressive church that hides the truth of our real Genesis. They intercept our sexual beings – then pound the shit out of us!” I said to Ein’s on the phone. He called me.

A year later, Christine is telling me Stefan’s mother used to torture her son’s penis by sticking objects up it.

“She wanted him to become a priest. He went to seminary school for awhile, but, he was haunted by bad memories!”

“She was sticking a piece of straw up his penis.” I offered. “This was a common practice amongst German mothers. They did it get all the urine out so the baby won’t dribble. My father claims the same form of abuse, and thus is his excuse for abusing all four of his children. His people came from Germany. This shit gets passed down. Parents refuse to believe the truth that our memories go back – more than they want to know! They don’t want to miss their chance to recreate their abuse!”

Stefan was traumatized as a boy. But, I shocked the shit out him. I had done his portrait, captured his inner self, that he believed would never be revealed. Too many people are hiding in the places made for Creative Open People, they using this opening as their Cloak of Invisibility!

“See! I am wide open to almost everything! Even though I hate yams! I have no problem eating Art Yams!”

I am done with that! I am very psychic. Stefan sent me an e-mail, and called me up and asked if I could resend him this image. He must have got spooked and deleted it.

As for the hole in Christine’s floor………..

“Get a box of Fix-All.”

“What is that? How do you spell it! Hurry, the store is about to close, and I need a bag of kitty litter. My wrists are giving out. I may not be able to carry food home, just the litter! God! Why am I so hungry? This stems from my childhood, where at dinner-time my parents would make me sit at the dining table and watch my brother and sister eat steaks. When they were done, my Fake Mother brought out a bowl of luke-warm, Cream O Wheat. My family would snigger as I ate. I cried and cried! They didn’t care! I don’t know where I am going to get the money to feed all my cats!”

“Christine! Did we talk about the German Psychologist, Allice Miller. I think she is suggesting the reason you adopt so many cats, is, because you are ‘The Un-Wanted Child’. Your parents only wanted – TWO children. That was their ideal! Every time you bring home a new cat – you are spitting in your parents face!”

“Oh that’s nuts! My mother – is not my real mother! My father met a beautiful woman who wanted only ONE child – ME! After my father delivered me downstairs in his office, my real mother – who wanted me – disappeared! I think she was/is a Catholic!”

I’m done fixing stuff, unless you want to hire me for a lot of money! Has Stefan ever fathered a child? Did he get a vasectomy? If you don’t want people to react to your art, don’t create. If you don’t want people to react to your writing, don’t write! If you don’t want people to response to your acting – don’t act!

Christine claims Stefan is not a real artist.

“He rarely paints, or twists a piece of wire anymore!”

I think Stefan became an artist in hope of meeting someone who could figure him out – and fix him! The Catholic Church – failed! I did not! Now what is Eins going to do? If you don’t want get fixed – stop going to a shrink!

Has anybody painted a box of Fix-All? Consider this box my Ready-Made.
