Swalwell – Emergency President!
Posted on June 24, 2024 by Royal Rosamond Press

Here is a Political Prophet being a Johnny Come Lately. Allan Lichtman predicted Kamala Harris – WILL NOT WIN THE WHITE HOUSE! Big friggen deal. I PREDICTED there would be a crisis – and offered a solution!
I have predicted the Christian-right will take over our Democracy for over fourty years. This blog-newspaper has been spot on! Very few newspapers write about WHY Trump will win. The formula is simple……Every Democrat has a close friend or relative who wants you TO SURRENDER TO JESUS so you can experience what they got…..TOTAL BLISS VIA SURRENDERING to a Sky God. They want to believe Trump SURRENDERED, but, know deep in their – he has not! What they believe in, is Trump and going to destroy all alternative choices and ways of life, because The Sky God is the Patriotic Savior of America, and, only Jesus can save us from the enemies of the Christians by making their lives miserable. I got neighbors who pray – I GET WHAT I DESERVE! How about you?
With the help of Christians on the Supreme Court Game Show Host, Donald Trump will reborn the GONG SHOW. As hard as this is to believe, The Holy Court has been COUNTING all the attacks the Democrats have made – AGAINST JESUS – who wanted Trump TO WIN, But Satan Joe stole the election! To make sure this does not happen again, Jesus will show His followers how to destroy the two party system – and all Worshippers of Satan!

“A distinguished professor of history at American University, Allan Lichtman has made a name for himself through one unusual talent: He has correctly predicted the outcome of nine elections out of the 10 most recent presidential races, using a model he invented known as the 13 keys. “
And for many, Trump is a champion of Christianity and patriotism.
“I believe he believes in God and our military men and women, in our country, in America,” said Tammy Houston of New Lexington, Ohio.
“I put my family first, and on a larger scale, it’s America first,” said Sherrie Cotterman of Sidney, Ohio. “And I would any day of the week, take a president that openly knows he needs the strength from God over his own.”
In many ways, this is a familiar story.
About 8 in 10 white evangelical Christians supported Trump in 2020, according to AP VoteCast, and Pew Research Center’s validated voter survey found that a similar share supported him in 2016.
Lichtman is perhaps best known for his earlier book “The Keys to the White House,” which lays out 13 variables that he says determine whether the party that controls the White House will win a given presidential election. Each key is a statement that, if true, makes it more likely that the incumbent party will win the popular vote; if eight or more are true, the incumbent party can be expected to triumph.
Biden interview fails to quell Democrat concerns over fitness

0:30Joe Biden’s interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos
President Joe Biden’s Friday night TV interview does not seem to have quelled an uprising within his own party to end his re-election campaign after a halting debate performance against Donald Trump.
A fifth House Democrat, Angie Craig of Minnesota, on Saturday joined colleagues in calling for the president to step aside, and reports suggest more could follow.
In his rare prime-time ABC News interview, Mr Biden dismissed his debate performance as just a “bad episode” and said only the “Lord Almighty” could convince him to end his bid for re-election.
Mr Biden, 81, is spending Saturday at his family home in Delaware before two public events on Sunday.
There is growing unease among Democrats, although no senior members of the party have called for him to quit.
Some polls show Trump’s lead over Mr Biden widening, and many are concerned about losing the presidency and House seats, along with the Senate majority, if he leads the ticket.
Ms Craig, who is running in a competitive district in Minnesota, said on Saturday that she did not believe Mr Biden could “effectively campaign and win against Donald Trump”.
She said that while she respected his decades of service, “there is simply too much at stake to risk a second Donald Trump presidency”.
Minutes after the ABC interview, Texas congressman Lloyd Doggett, the first House Democrat to call for Mr Biden to drop out, said on CNN that the need “is more urgent tonight than when I first called for it”.
He said the longer it took Mr Biden to make a decision to withdraw, the “more difficult for a new person to come on board who can defeat Donald Trump”.
Other House Democrats including congressman Mike Quigley of Illinois and Seth Moulton of Massachusetts called on Mr Biden to withdraw on Friday.
They join Arizona’s Raúl Grijalva’s call on Wednesday.
In his interview, Mr Biden declined to take a cognitive test and make the results public to prove he was fit to serve another term.
“I have a cognitive test every single day. Every day I have that test – everything I do [is a test],” he told George Stephanopoulos.
This response did not resonate with Democratic congresswoman Judy Chu of California, who told Politico that his answer was “unsettling and not particularly convincing” and that she would “be watching closely… especially in spontaneous situations”.

During the 22-minute ABC interview, Mr Biden rejected suggestions allies may ask him to stand aside, saying “it’s not going to happen”.
Mr Stephanopoulos pressed the president on his capacity to serve another term.
“I don’t think anybody’s more qualified to be president or win this race than me,” Mr Biden said.
Mr Biden, who is due to speak at a rally in Pennsylvania on Sunday, thanked Vice-President Kamala Harris for her support during the ABC News interview.
Ms Harris has emerged as a top contender to replace him if he were to step down.
In an interview on Saturday at the Essence black culture festival in New Orleans, the vice-president said that November’s election was crucial to American democracy, but made no mention of Democratic disquiet about Mr Biden.
“Understand what we all know – in 122 days, we each have the power to decide what kind of country we want to live in,” she said.
She said Trump “has openly talked about his admiration of dictators and his intention to be a dictator”.
Essence was the first of a number events in July that appear to target female black voters, a key constituency for Democrats in November.
However, questions around Mr Biden’s candidacy and the potential for Ms Harris to take his place will be difficult to avoid.
Ms Harris has spent the last week close to the president, flying from Los Angeles to attend the White House 4 July celebration, sitting in a meeting with governors and Mr Biden, and also being involved in his call with Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister.
Vice-presidents have the delicate balancing act of projecting unequivocal support for their bosses while also tacitly proving they are up to the main job. That has been more so for Ms Harris as questions swirl around Mr Biden’s re-election bid.
However, some Democrats acknowledge concerns about Ms Harris as a presidential candidate. She struggled to gain her footing early in her vice-presidency as she was given responsibility for issues including immigration, student debt and voting rights.
Low approval ratings have dogged her in office, although they have improved in recent months. She has since refocused her attention on issues such as abortion rights, which Democrats believe will be crucial in November.
Warner building support among Democratic senators to push Biden out
BY ALEXANDER BOLTON AND AMIE PARNES – 07/05/24 7:11 PM ET

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), an influential centrist who is close with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), is working to gather support among Democratic senators to ask President Biden to drop his reelection bid, according to two sources familiar with the effort.
Warner is concerned Biden could perform so badly in November that he risks taking down Democratic senators who were thought to be in relatively safe seats, such as fellow Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine.
“He talks to a lot of his colleagues all of the time. There’s a statewide race going on in Virginia,” said a source familiar with Warner’s efforts to muster support among Democratic senators to ask Biden to drop out of the presidential race.
“He’ll underscore the Senate race in Virginia, which we thought was going to be a walk in the park, but it’s not,” the source said of recent polling showing Biden and former President Trump tied in Virginia, which could portend a tough race for Kaine, the incumbent.
“I’m sure people in the White House are probably a little annoyed, but this is an exercise that a lot of Democrats needed to be taken,” the source added.
“He’s one United States senator,” the source added, emphasizing that Warner recognizes he has limited leverage given that Biden has amassed 3,894 delegates and has the nomination locked up if he chooses to continue his campaign.
Biden, asked about reports on the Warner effort as he was leaving a Wisconsin campaign event, said “he’s the only one.” He added that he’s talked about his campaign to at least 20 members of Congress who had offered support for his candidacy.
And when Biden was asked about the effort during his ABC News interview that aired Friday night, the president said, “Well, Mark is a good man. … Mark and I have a different perspective. I respect him.”
The Washington Post first reported that Warner is seeking to assemble a group of Democratic senators to ask Biden to exit the race.
Warner spokesperson Rachel Cohen didn’t confirm or deny the report.
“Like many other people in Washington and across the country, Sen. Warner believes these are critical days for the president’s campaign, and he has made that clear to the White House,” Cohen told the Post in a statement.
Trump and Biden are now in a dead heat in Virginia, where Trump leads slightly, 43.9 percent to 43.7 percent, according to 18 polls analyzed by The Hill’s Decision Desk HQ.
Biden insisted at a campaign rally in Wisconsin on Friday that he’s staying in the race.
“They’re trying to push me out of the race,” he told a cheering crowd. “Well let me say this as clearly as I can: I’m staying in the race.”
“I’m not letting one 90-minute debate wipe out three and a half years of work,” he declared.
Senate Democrats have stayed relatively unified in support of Biden until now.
However, two liberal senators from the Northeast, Sens. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), have publicly expressed misgivings with the Biden campaign, a sign that more Senate Democrats are deeply alarmed about the trajectory of Biden’s campaign.
BY GO RVING
Welch, in an interview with Semafor, criticized Biden’s campaign for dismissing Democrats expressing concern and anxiety about his viability as a candidate in the wake of his disappointing debate performance.
“I really do criticize the campaign for a dismissive attitude towards people who are raising questions for discussion. That’s just facing the reality we’re in,” Welch said in the Monday interview.
Welch warned in a CNN interview later in the week that Biden could wipe out Democratic candidates downballot if he remains the party’s nominee and fails to turn around his flailing campaign.
Professor Allan Lichtman’s 2024 presidential pick

A distinguished professor of history at American University, Allan Lichtman has made a name for himself through one unusual talent: He has correctly predicted the outcome of nine elections out of the 10 most recent presidential races, using a model he invented known as the 13 keys.
The only election he has incorrectly predicted was the 2000 presidential election, selecting Al Gore over George Bush in a prediction he insists was the correct choice, saying the 2000 election was stolen.
The 13 keys method was created in partnership with Russian seismologist Vladimir Keilis-Borok. The pair adapted models used to predict earthquakes to better understand the American political sphere.
According to the American University’s website, the 13 keys are:
- Party mandate: After the midterm elections, the incumbent party holds more seats in the US House of Representatives than after the previous midterm elections.
- Contest: There is no serious contest for the incumbent party nomination.
- Incumbency: The incumbent party candidate is the sitting president.
- Third-party: There is no significant third-party or independent campaign.
- Short term economy: The economy is not in recession during the election campaign.
- Long-term economy: Real per capita economic growth during the term equals or exceeds mean growth during the previous two terms.
- Policy change: The incumbent administration affects major changes in national policy.
- Social unrest: There is no sustained social unrest during the term.
- Scandal: The incumbent administration is untainted by major scandal.
- Foreign/military failure: The incumbent administration suffers no major failure in foreign or military affairs.
- Foreign/military success: The incumbent administration achieves a major success in foreign or military affairs.
- Incumbent charisma: The incumbent party candidate is charismatic or a national hero.
- Challenger charisma: The challenging party candidate is not charismatic or a national hero.
