- Sweden’s accession to NATO last Thursday was a major blow to Russia.
The Swedish Air Force last week conducted its first reconnaissance flights near Russia’s border since officially joining NATO.
The two flights on Saturday were aimed at collecting intelligence information about the deployment and activities of Russian troops and weapons in the region, Open Source Intelligence experts said.
One flight was made by a Swedish Gulfstream S102B Korpen GIV-SP Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), which flew over Poland near the borders of Russia’s Kaliningrad enclave and Belarus.
The S102B Korpen is a highly modified Gulfstream IV aircraft equipped with sensors to perform signal intelligence: it can scan the electromagnetic spectrum to locate, collect, and categorize signals from radars, navigation equipment, and weapon systems.
The second flight was carried out by a Saab 340 radar aircraft over the Baltic Sea. The Saab 340 is an airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft. The mounted radar is capable of tracking ships, planes, and missiles up to 190-250 miles while at an altitude of 20,000 feet.
According to the Ukrainian military site Militarny, the planes are part of the 72nd and 73rd squadrons of the special aviation intelligence unit, based at Malmen Air Base outside Linköping.
Sweden’s accession to NATO and Russian military movement
On Thursday, following a handover of documents in Washington, Sweden became NATO’s 32nd member.
As fears of Russia extending its aggression into the Baltic states mount, Sweden’s membership gives the alliance new ways of deterring Russian attacks.
Nima Khorrami, an analyst at the Arctic Institute, previously told Business Insider that Sweden’s membership “extends NATO’s missile range, putting strategic locations in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg within reach.”
“This adds another layer of deterrence against potential Russian aggression, as NATO forces can effectively respond to threats in real time,” he said.
Oscar Jonsson, a researcher at the Swedish Defence University, previously told BI that “Sweden is important for both safely receiving NATO troops and capabilities and by being hard to target for Russian forces while being close enough to Kaliningrad to launch long-range precision capabilities.”
A Lithuanian intelligence report released this week said Russia was responding to NATO’s additional members by stepping up its military presence in the Baltic region.
Russia has long accused NATO of seeking to encircle it, with Putin citing the claim as part of the justification for Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
Blinken noted Sweden’s “200-year-old policy of non-alignment” – which stretches back to the Napoleonic Wars – and the Swedish population’s lack of appetite to join the alliance before Russia’s invasion.
“Then everything changed,” he said.
US President Joe Biden heralded Sweden’s accession, which he said made the bloc “more united, determined and dynamic than ever,” and able to “stand for freedom and democracy for generations to come.”
The move came just hours before Biden is set to deliver his State of the Union address, in which he is expected to draw sharp contrasts between his stance on issues of democracy and key alliances like NATO and that of his predecessor Donald Trump. Kristersson will be a guest of the First Lady at the address.
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also welcomed the news, describing it as a “historic moment.”
“Like Finland, Sweden shares our values and principles and they share our unwavering commitment to international security in the face of Russia’s threats and their barbaric war in Ukraine,” Sunak said. “Sweden and Finland’s membership will make NATO stronger and the whole Euro-Atlantic more secure.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sweden’s accession was a win for everyone, calling the country “a strong ally and a country that can be trusted.”
“Ukraine has always supported Sweden in its pursuit of NATO membership, and I thank Sweden for its support of our country – there will be a day when Sweden will be able to congratulate Ukraine on joining the alliance as well. Together, we are always stronger,” he said.
Kristersson thanked his allies for welcoming Sweden into the bloc.
“We will strive for unity, solidarity and burden-sharing, and will fully adhere to the Washington Treaty values: freedom, democracy, individual liberty and the rule of law. Stronger together,” he said in a statement.
While Finland became NATO’s 31st member without major obstacles, Sweden’s bid to join the bloc was for months obstructed by Turkey and Hungary, which enjoy friendly relations with Moscow and delayed ratifying Stockholm’s accession.
Turkey’s parliament voted in January to approve Sweden’s bid after months of tensions between the two nations, sparked primarily by a spate of Quran-burning protests in Sweden that enraged Turkish lawmakers.
But Hungary made Sweden wait even longer, with Prime Minister Viktor Orban declining to green-light its bid on several occasions. Hungary’s parliament eventually approved Sweden’s accession last month.
NATO’s next annual summit will be held in July in Washington, DC, and will mark the alliance’s 75th anniversary.

Folke Bernadotte, Count of Wisborg (2 January 1895 – 17 September 1948) was a Swedish nobleman and diplomat. In World War II he negotiated the release of about 31,000 prisoners from German concentration camps, including 450 Danish Jews from the Theresienstadt camp. She has never been to the headquarter of BAD. She had debriefed herself on the train ride. She felt she was prepared for what awaited her. What she was not prepared for was the oil of abeautiful woman that was hung above Clive’s desk. She went right to it, and did not see Mr. Rougemont’s outstretched hand.

Victoria felt a rush of blood to her head and neck. She has taken blow to her solar plexus. And now………….her third eye!

Victoria could not find her center. She felt she was in a kaleidoscope.
“Gandalf the Grey is my grandfather?” she asked, like a child.
“No. Wait for it! Wait for it! THERE! There he is!”
Victoria fainted, slid off her chair, and banged her chin hard on the edge of the desk. When she came to a inhouse doctor was putting a big bandaged on her chin.
“There was no need for stitches.” said the Doctor.
“What are you doing to me. Why are you fucking with my mind? Miriam and I have done nothing!”
“That’s the point. You two are virgins. You are supposed to be dating, men. We have men lined up for you. Do you know who Miriam is? Do you have any idea what trouble she is in!”
“Please! Stop! We promise to be good girls from now on. Can I have my reality back, now? Why are you saying Saruman is my grandfather?”
“You poor dear. I am saying the actor Christopher Lee is your grandfather. Your grandmother is Henrietta Von Rosen. They had a illegitimate daughter, who is your mother.”
“I thought Teresa Bond was my mother.”
“Ah – no! James Bond is a myth. Your kin, Ian Fleming based James on the exploits of Christopher, whose mother was married Harcourt George Saint-Croix Rose, the uncle of Fleming. Christopher and Ian are step-cousins. Both men served in Intelligence. They were working Eric Von Rosen who had formed a special Nazi cult that was appealing to the Saxon race. This movement still exsists. This is why Ian created James Bond. THEY could see James doing the Irish Jig all around them. It froze them in their tracks. “Is that my mother!” Victoria shouted!
“What are you talking about?”

“I swear, I have looked at the image a hundred times. I only had eyes for this beautiful woman! Oh my God!”
“MIRIAM! Is she safe?”
“Yes. We have put our best men at Osborn House. We bought a present for our Russian Princess. Would you like to ride with Miriam’s horse.”
“Sure. She has begged me to teach how to ride. But, what do I get?”

I am related to Christopher Lee. Today I discovered he, and I, are kin to Ian Fleming, a fact I knew via Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor. Two famous actors in my Rosy Tree are kin to the author of the James Bond novels.

This morning I discovered my kin Christopher Lee is related to Ian Fleming. This is a game changer. I am kin to Fleming via Liz Taylor. I need Lara Roozemond to have her agent contact me. Lee was also known for his imposing height:[155] he was 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) tall.[73] Lee and his wife Birgit were listed among the fifty best-dressed over 50s by the Guardian in March 2013.[156]

Here is Hartwell House. Robert E. Lee, and Sir Christopher Lee, and their roots here.
The Lees, an old Buckinghamshire family, acquired Hartwell c.1650 by marriage into the Hampdens. Confederate General Robert E. Lee and Sir Christopher Lee are amongst their descendants.
You can trace them via Robert Wilson and Jane Lee.

I came upon your article posted on your facebook about a “Pirate Party” and the “Civil War” Above is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth with eyes and ears on her dress. This denotes the spy network she established to keep track of the Habsburg Spanish Empire, that the Schwarzenberg family was an ally of. The Jessie Scouts was formed around my relative, Jessie Benton-Fremont, in order to spy on the foreigners in Mexico, including Maximillian von Habsburg. I am kin to Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, and Ian Fleming who created the spy, James Bond, who was assigned a number invented by John Dee. Dee was Queen Elizabeth’s favorite councilor. He appears to have set up the Queen’s Spy Unit. Dee was a guest of your relative, William Rosenberg, at Trebon castle where you might have stayed. Queen Elizabeth sent Sir Francis Drake on a exploration of the New World. Drake claimed California for Elizabeth, naming it New Albion.
I am looking for people to establish a Euro-California origination who would represent the interests of our Allies in trade across the Pacific. Fremont helped secure California and the Oregon Territory from the Russians and British. We would be honored if you would lend your expertise in this formation. Karel complains that Putin treats the Czech Republic like a colony. Many Bohemians found a new home in Nebraska.
