Often people call someone a tzaddik simply because he is an exceptionally good person. Then there are times they come across a spiritual superhero, someone more like an angel than a human being, and they say, “Now that’s a tzaddik!”
Yet the most special thing about a tzaddik is that he really is the most human of human beings.
Tzaddik צדיק is a form of the Hebrew verb צדק [TzDK], which carries the meaning of doing what is correct and just. Weights that are calibrated correctly are called moznei tzedek. The judge is urged, “Tzedek, tzedek you shall pursue!” Meaning: that which was wronged should be righted, that which was stolen should be returned to its owner, the innocent should not suffer, and those who have caused harm shall be corrected so that they will return to doing good. Tzedek is making everything the way it should be.

New Deal Post Office For Sale

The old Eugene Post Office is up for sale. Inside are historic murrals that were rendered for the People of Eugene to give them a sence of Community and Culture. Thanks to the Privatizers that put the Tea Party Fakeriots in the streets to protect the very Rich, the world economy has been weakened, severely damaged!

The United States Constitution calls for a Government Post Office, and that roads be built to it so We the People may always have access to the Post Office. The Fakeriots claim our Founding Fathers never intended our Democracy to be an institution that cared about building roads, and building buildings for the common people to use and enjoy. They lied! They took over our Congress – employing lies!

I awoke form my old man nap, and looked at my painting I started which is a redo of the painting I did of Rena Easton in 1972. I decided I would work on this painting Christmas Day because my child and grandchildren will not have any contact with me thanks to Linda and Tom Comstock ( a powerful lawyer) who encouraged Heather Hanson to disappear from y life, and get near Vicki and Stacey – for some money! We would be free of The Family Hate Fest Tom Snyder told the world of art about in order to make it clear to Rosamond fans why our Rosamond Family Art and Literature Legacy had to be SOLD to Pierrot. All of us were ruled – UNWORTHY!
I made up my mind I would make a video of me painting – just to prove I can – to my Legal Dream Team I hope Santa brings me this Christmas. I told myself I am going to put wings on Rena – this time! I had made plans to send Kimberly Bulkley the genealogy of Wensel Braskewitz-Preskowitz…..when it struck me, Wensel if short for Wenceslaus. My great grandfather was born in Bohemia and came to America. A year ago I traced the Rosamond Line to the Kings and Queens of Bohemia. Five years ago I wrote the Austrian Embassy about ‘The Last Audience of the Habsburgs’ about having Empress Zita and her Royal Family returned. They don’t want her – or her royal trappings! I just found the Abbey Bellevaux where the Lords of Rougemont, and the Bishops of Besançon are buried. The Rougemonts were Knights Templar and owners of the Shroud of Turin as were the Lords of La Roche. Pons La Roche was the founder of Bellevaux where very possibley my Rougemont ancestors are buried. Pons is close kindred of the De Bar and Habsburg family. Why would the Habsburg keep their connection to the Knights Templar and Shroud of Turin a secret? The Habsburgs were ‘defenders of the Catholic faith’.
I am going to make a pilgrimage to this Abbey Bellevaux and own the end of my book. I am looking for backers of my expedition. Who would like to go with?

I have suggested in this blog that Rougemont Switzerland may be the real home of the coming Antichrist, and, very possible, Ol Saint Nick – is the Antichrists! Since he got elected, I have wondered if Donald Trump is reading this blog, because it appears I have predicted the future on many occasions. Is this why Donald has become..
THE PRESIDENT WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS?
Has the Trumpire ordered Santa be assassinated by the beloved Right-wing militias? We know my life has been threatened by the She Demons of Alley Valkyrie, and the Kimmite Mob who employed Alley’s threats against me. The Flash Mob threatened to disappear our complex cats -and they are gone! Yesterday I realized I did consider becoming a believer in THE RAPTURE if they leave the innocent animals alone.
Too late. As a reporter for my registered newspaper, Royal Rosamond Press, I stood my ground and protected my peers. Freedom of the Press, and the foundation of the Post Office, is protected by our Constitution. My suggestion that secular non-believers have a say-so in the election of the secular Antichrist – has enraged the followers of Super Jesus, Cosmic Ruler of the Rapturous Universe. I also suspect Wiccan Alley Valkyrie and her coven were not happy to read my claims in this blog, and thus they put out a WANTED poster. They stole the pic that my fiancé took of me just before I gifted Virginia with the Louisiana Territory.
My quest to save the Post Office began with an idea to help the homeless recreate the Trading Posts. Hollis had been asked to move from a EMX bench while listening to the world series. I attended the second OCCUPY Eugene meeting dressed as Santa Claus after I stood in front of the Post Office encouraging people to buy PO boxes to ship beans to a Republican Senator. In response to Mail Boxes being removed citizens are buying stamps and mailing letters. I was inspired by the movie ‘Miracle On 34th Street. I got up to speak at and suggested we take over the Post Offices, and leave th homeless be. I knew they wanted to use the homeless the way the churh had used them to gain power and own CONTOL. They smiled at me and thought I was joking.
Pat of Gyzmobite found Hollis’s half sisters two months after I paid for his burial. They wanted his flag and photos. While at the Post Office mailing these items, there was a protect outside.
I have been demonized by my neighbors who know one of them instigated a false emergency and 911 call. Kim Haffner knew this and used this poor woman to launch a attack, saying I was abusing Cheryl, and wanted her to be evicted. I just wanted to be let alone. Kim thought we were going to have sex. This is what Cheryl wanted from me. This is sex abuse by ugly women who do not have a man in their life. They employed Valkyries threats which prompted me to call the FBI.
I founded ‘Virtual Brownsville’ with Amazon in mind. I have been on top of this national crisis that is undermining Family Values and Traditional American Culture. Where is the voice of evangelical leaders who are very afraid of King Trump. If they say anything bad about the Emperor of American, the President of the United States can call for a boycott of that traitors mega-church. We got a real Dictator in charge, who I suspect has already implemented a plan to undermine our elections, and the Post Office Purge is just a smokescreen that will be used as the example of voter fraud by the Democrats – if he wins!
President Donald Trump isn’t quiet about his hate for the U.S. Postal Service.
On Thursday, Aug. 13, he took it further by saying in a Fox News interview he plans to block $25 billion in COVID-19 aid so the Post Office can’t process mail-in ballots. Later in the day, people on social media websites Facebook and Next Door shared photos of U.S. Postal Service mailboxes being picked up in Eugene and Portland, claiming Trump is already cutting back.
But those mailboxes aren’t being picked up because of Trump’s recent statements, USPS spokesperson Ernie Swanson tells Eugene Weekly. The Postal Service is picking up mailboxes because people are apparently mailing less during the pandemic. In Eugene, the Postal Service has targeted areas where there are multiple mailboxes and ensured there are one or two mailboxes left behind.
Swanson adds that the decision is made to remove mailboxes when mail carriers noticed there are fewer than 40 or 50 items in a mailbox for several days in a row.
Earlier in the pandemic, people rushed out to buy postage stamps as a way to help out the Postal Service. Swanson says what could bring mailboxes back is to start sending more mail at locations where removal has happened, but a box is still available nearby.
Swanson says USPS has picked up 27 mailboxes in Eugene as of Aug. 13, and while they are done for now, can’t rule out future pick ups
But COVID-19-related mailing decrease isn’t the only threat to the Postal Service.
Trump’s Post Master General Louis DeJoy (a donor to the Trump campaign who was appointed in June) has had an impact on mail operations already. According to an Aug. 13 report from Street Roots in Portland, DeJoy’s initiatives have resulted in late packages and even special election ballots. And one new initiative called Expedited to Street/Afternoon Sortation, a pilot program also being tried out at the Eugene 97401 post office location, is forcing mail carriers to sort mail during delivery, according to an unnamed mail carrier in the Street Roots story.
President Donald Trump on Monday repeated his belief that Amazon is to blame for the U.S. Postal Service’s demise.
“Amazon and other companies like it, they come and they drop all of their mail into a post office,” Trump said in an interview with “Fox & Friends.” “They drop packages into the post office by the thousands and then they say, ‘Here, you deliver them.’ We lose $3 and $4 a package on average. We lose massive amounts of money.”
The president was asked about concerns that the Trump administration is interfering with the post office in order to impact voting in the November presidential election. The Postal Service has removed hundreds of mail-processing machines across the country and warned dozens of states that it may not be able to process mail-in ballots in time to be counted in the Nov. 3 presidential election. At the same time, it faces widespread mail delays and has seen its financial woes increase as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is calling the House back into session, cutting lawmakers’ summer recess short as concerns grow among Democrats over whether the Trump White House is trying to undermine the Postal Service ahead of the election.
Trump said the post office could solve its financial issues by raising delivery rates to offset alleged delivery costs fueled by online retailers. “This guy is supposed to be so wealthy, so let him pay for it,” Trump added, appearing to refer to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
Representatives from Amazon didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The company has previously declined to comment after Trump’s past attacks.
Trump’s comments echoed similar remarks by him in April and launched a series of attacks in 2018, when he claimed Amazon was costing the post office “billions.”
Trump is right that the Postal Service is losing money, but Amazon and other internet e-commerce companies aren’t necessarily to blame for that. Previous analysis conducted by CNBC found Amazon may be saving the post office from financial demise, due to growth in package shipping from online retailers like Amazon. Amazon also relies on a range of carriers to deliver packages, such as UPS and FedEx, and is increasingly building its own network of contracted delivery partners, which now total 1,300 firms.
A major factor behind the post office’s continuing shortfall is a requirement that the USPS fund health benefits for its workers, which costs more than $5 billion annually. Other worker-related expenses, such as workers’ compensation, fluctuate from year to year based on “changes in actuarial assumptions, such as interest and inflation rates, and employee and retiree demographics,” as the USPS said in its 2019 annual report.
The Postal Service has benefited from a surge in package deliveries to Americans who remain indoors because of the pandemic, but it has experienced continued declines in first-class and business mail, according to its latest financial results.

The Face of the Post Office: New Deal P.O. in Eugene, for sale

It’s the usual story. The Postal Service owns a beautiful downtown post office that’s been a thriving hub for decades. Then it moves most of the postal workers to another facility, a non-descript annex on the edge of town or in another city. After a few years the Postal Service says, “the building is much bigger than we need,” and it goes up for sale. When the citizens of the community learn that the post office is on the market, a Postal Service rep tells patrons, ““We want to maintain our retail presence in the area,” so perhaps we’ll be able to lease back some space in the building or in another nearby location.
That’s what happened in Eugene, Oregon, home to a 72-year-old landmark post office built by the New Deal. For 40 years it was the main processing center, but in 1979 the Postal Service moved most of the workers to a processing center in Springfield, and now the Postal Service has put the building up for sale. Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy wrote a letter to Eugene Postmaster Paul Bastinelli , saying the “signature post office is essential to the long-term growth and economic vitality of Eugene’s city center” and asking the Postal Service to discuss the fate of the post office with the community. Ron Anderson, the Portland-based USPS customer relations coordinator, said that’s not how it works. First the post office finds a buyer, then it notifies the community of the impending closure, and then it listens to what residents have to say.
The downtown post office was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It was designed by Gilbert Underwood, and it contains murals by Carl Morris, a friend of artists Mark Rothko and Robert Motherwell. The murals depict the local industries of lumbering and agriculture.
If you’re an interested buyer, the post office is listed by Northland Realtors. The asking price is $2.5 million. Unless the city of Eugene can find a way to take over the building for public purposes, it will probably turn into a restaurant or offices for a private company. That would be too bad. As career postal employee Gary Jarvis told KVAL.com, moving out such a unique building will lower the postal service’s standing in the community. “That’s the face of the post office the community has come to know,” he said.
