O-Republican Resolution Unleashes Goon Squad

“His last fundraising letter repeated his plan to hire Oath Keepers as security guards. “Organized bands of masked thugs who call conservatives fascists or Nazis are rising rapidly within the city,” he wrote”.

I’m going to post this on Governor DeSantis’ facebook and see how many cheer and throw their MAGA hat in the air!

It looks like Oregon was the training ground for Republican Insurectionists who were told to STAND BY by President Trump who blessed the Proud Boys that were just convicted of seditions Conspiracy.

I demand the Attorney General of Oregon let go of her big bag of pot money – and grab Buchal by the short-hairs. I demand La Mota fund a radical Neo-Hippie and renew the Summer of Love Revolutions that was fueled by marijuana! There is no need for drugs, this time around. I have a blueprint for being an American Rebel in the traditional sense. The Original Patriots made monetary sacrifices in their fight to be free from British rule. My great grandfather, James Rosamond, put in a reoperations claim for a ham he gave to the Swamp Fox.

Multnomah County Republican Party Approves Oath Keepers and Three Percenters as Private Security

The resolution is the brainchild of party chairman James Buchal, who claims Portland is dangerous for conservatives.

The Multnomah County Republican Party voted this week to use far-right milita groups as private security at events.

The resolution is the brainchild of party chairman James Buchal, who last month suggested to The Guardian that the GOP could use Oath Keepers and Three Percenters, two paramilitary groups, as security guards to protect them from antifascist protesters, or antifa.

UPDATE, 1:15 pm: “We are an all-volunteer organization with no money,” Buchal tells WW. “So if we are going to get security services, we are going to get them from volunteers. And people who are going to volunteer to provide security services to Republicans are generally going to be people who share the view that the government has developed an unconstitutional overreach of power.”

Buchal says he and the Multnomah County GOP won’t be attending tonight’s far-right “free speech” protest near the Waterfront Blues Festival, unless he is personally invited. (He hasn’t been.)

WW reported last week that Buchal has been fundraising by warning of “threats of Leftist violence” making it difficult for Republicans to hold events in Portland.

His last fundraising letter repeated his plan to hire Oath Keepers as security guards. “Organized bands of masked thugs who call conservatives fascists or Nazis are rising rapidly within the city,” he wrote.

On Monday, the party approved the resolution to hire Oath Keepers as security. The Portland Mercury first reported on the vote this morning.

The approved resolution reads as follows:

“Proposed Resolution of Chairman Buchal:  Resolve that the MCRP may utilize volunteers from the Oregon Three Percenters, Oath Keepers, and other security groups. To provide security where such volunteers are certified to provide private security service by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training. Kay Bridges moved and Janice Dysinger seconded. Resolution passed.”

No evidence of widespread voter fraud has been uncovered and federal judges have repeatedly dismissed lawsuits claiming voter fraud in the election citing a lack of evidence.

After a summer of attacks upon federal, state and private property deemed “mostly peaceful” by the media, a similar demonstration at the U.S. Capitol produced a continuing and overblown media frenzy about “insurrection.” After tolerating fringe “insurrectionists” who are Democrats for decades, leading Democrats and weak-willed Republicans now lead a puritanical effort to purge those challenging insurrection-related narratives from the public square.

Widespread election fraud is not a conspiracy theory, and feckless judges setting aside democratically enacted election rules to favor Democrats, or ducking the merits of election challenges on “standing” grounds, did not give us a free and fair election. Nor did the Oregon Republican Party fall under the spell of conspiracy theories for raising legitimate concerns about whether many pushing their way into the Capitol were motivated by attempts to blacken the Republican brand.

More and more Americans realize that our leaders care little for ordinary people or the serious problems the country faces. Instead, they focus only upon themselves and protecting their power. More and more Americans realize that endless alarms pitting ordinary people against each other are only serving what Pat Buchanan called “two wings of the same bird of prey”— the national leadership of the Republicans and Democrats. A stronger, grassroots-controlled Republican Party is the only hope for workers and small businesses to fight a rising oligarchy that is destroying their futures.

Time will tell whether America’s flirtation with what James Madison called the “wicked projects” of “paper money,” “abolition of debts,” and “equal division of property” will finally cause this country to go the way of Venezuela. The situation is dire, with decaying economic prospects, decay in the rule of law and moral decay. It may be that only a spiritual revival can save the country; worship of government will not work.

The future of the Republican Party is in the hands of ordinary Americans working to retake the Republican Party, re-dedicate it to the timeless truths that made America great, and expel corrupt elites from its helm. Like all human beings, they are vulnerable to lies and conspiracy theories, but if there is anything we have learned in the past four years, so, too, is the mainstream media. Whether it is the claim that President Trump was a Russian agent, or that a police officer was murdered at the Capitol, the lies just keep on coming.

Wise Americans know that it is not the American way to empower elites to muzzle, vilify or “cancel” those participating in the democratic process. The Republican Party is for those with the courage to fight American decay, to work to discern lies from truth, and to foster an educated electorate that can separate the wheat from the chaff. All that is necessary for the evil rising in this country to succeed is for good men and women to do nothing, because they are afraid one of their fellow Party members might make them look bad in the media.

The door to the Republican Party is open to all freedom-loving Americans. The ever-tightening grip of Democratic Party policies will bring more and more Americans through that door, to a new era of personal freedom and prosperity for Americans and accountability for our leaders. And to those who would leave the Republican Party rather than work to improve it, in the words of Sam Adams: “May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
