My kindred, John Wilson, is buried in The King’s Chapel, along with Elizabeth Pain who is associated with Hester Prynne the subject of Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter.
I posted the following letter on sites belonging to Senator Ron Wyden, Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, and Tina Kotek. I bid them to focus on the truth – all Democrats who voted – DID NOTHING WRONG! All the people who are the heads of many Think Tanks, concluded those that stormed the Capitol – “HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG”. If true, wouldn’t these learned people – and their think tanks – want the Jan.6 Committee to conduct a thorough investigation in order the clear the wrongfully accused – and calm the growing un-rest of the Democrats – who might want to riot? Ed Meese has built his career on suppressing demonstrations of Democrats.
“legal harassment to private citizens who have done nothing wrong“
I looked at another signer of the infamous Insurrectionists Exoneration Letter – and am in shock! What we have is evidence these people had a covert Religious Agenda that they feared would be exposed to all the American People and Voters, because of the recklessness of Trump, who might be threatening to EXPOSE THEM – because he lost! I can’t believe these Right-wingers signed their name to such a reckless letter. They must have been pressured – TO KILL THE COMMITTEE – and intimidate all witnesses. There is an attack on one’s faith that Rusty Bower – exposed.
“We further inform you that conservative leaders are launching a nationwide movement to add citizens’ voices to this effort.”
This is a modern day CHRISTIAN EXCOMMUNICATION that will be made public with the help of ALL THEIR THINK TANKS. J. Kenneth Blackwell needs to be subpoenaed, and does Ginni Thomas. Also….Mike Pence needs to testify about these think tanks, and tell the world what it feels to haranged and threatened, when, he did nothing wrong!
MIKE PENCE – DID NOTHING WRONG – AND ALL THE SIGNERS KNOW IT!

Dear Senator and Congressman;
I bring to your attention a letter I found four days ago addressed to Kevin McCarthy asking him to take punitive action against Cheney and Kinzinger. Consider who signed this letter, I consider this a threat, and witness tampering. Ginni Thomas, and Ed Meese – who had Mario Savio arrested – stand out! There is a video of Meese and the Thomas’ at the Heritage Foundation where Clarence spoke. I looked at several signees and was shocked. Most head think tanks. Elaine Donnally appears to be in charge of the other military, and Chad Connelly claims he has brought Jesus to Republicans, even Trump. I asked Jessie Jane Duff to remove the meme at the top of her Facebook that shows the cropped head of Trump on the body of Mel Gibson who starred in the movie ‘The Patriot’. My great grandfather fought alongside Francis Marion, and are True Patriots. This fictional Trump, who never served, is carrying an American flag with a spear point. Such flags were used as weapons against the Capitol police. As you are aware, many Americans were drafted for the Vietnam War, a disproportionate number being black.
Meese published a paper that says demonstrators who are violent, and loot, should be prosecuted. Meese was an attorney general, and knows to declare the Insurrectionist innocent – is wrong! Have you recovered the painting that was stolen and the bust of Lincoln that was removed?
“legal harassment to private citizens who have done nothing wrong“
It is the Democrats who did “nothing wrong”. They won the White House. Can you say this at the beginning of each meeting. It is this line that truly alarms me, and I suspect it is aimed at all those who wish to come forth and testify.
“We further inform you that conservative leaders are launching a nationwide movement to add citizens’ voices to this effort.”
After attempting to destroy the credibility of the Jan. 6th Committee and two of its members, the Gang of Twenty say they are going to hold a kangaroo court, and public tribunal – knowing dangerous militias took part in the storming of our Capitol. How many Democrats will be tapped to serve the Republican Witch Hunt led by the ex-President of the United States who called a protentional witness – who may have read this letter dated December 15, 2021

The Honorable Kevin McCarthy
Minority Leader and Member (CA-23)
U.S. House of Representatives

Dear Leader McCarthy,
The undersigned conservatives ask that the House Republican Conference act immediately to remove both Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) from the Republican conference due to their egregious actions as part of the House of Representative’s January 6th Select Committee.
As you are aware, this committee has no formal representation from Republicans. Both Reps. Cheney and Kinzinger serve at the request of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). As part of Pelosi’s team, Reps. Cheney and Kinzinger have deliberately sought to undermine the privacy and due process of their fellow Republicans, and those of private citizens, with improperly issued subpoenas and other investigatory tactics designed not to pursue any valid legislative end, but merely to exploit for the sake of political harassment and demagoguery.
The actions of Reps. Cheney and Kinzinger on behalf of House Democrats have given supposedly bipartisan justification to an overtly partisan political persecution that brings disrespect to our country’s rule of law, legal harassment to private citizens who have done nothing wrong, and which demeans the standing of the House.
As duly elected representatives, Reps. Cheney and Kinzinger are free to serve in the House, but they should no longer do so with the privileges granted to members of the House Republican Conference. They should no longer be given access to the benefits of a conference they actively seek to undermine.
We ask that the GOP conference meet immediately to vote on stripping Reps. Cheney and Kinzinger from their membership in the GOP conference. We further inform you that conservative leaders are launching a nationwide movement to add citizens’ voices to this effort.
I’ve been active in law enforcement for more than 50 years. During that time, I’ve seen numerous protests. I’ve also seen far too many riots. There’s a difference.
Orderly protest is part of our American tradition. It is an exercise of our constitutional rights of free speech and peaceable assembly. It is one way we the people can make our voices heard, our views known to those in power.
But rioting, looting, destroying property, and attacking fellow Americans have no place in orderly protest. They are, in fact, the very antithesis of orderly protest. And in the end, these patently illegal actions not only undermine the moral standing of legitimate protests. History shows that they also wind up hurting most of the very people that true protesters aim to help.

Peaceful protest can help change America for the better. Organized protests and peaceful demonstrations during the Martin Luther King Jr. era produced tremendous progress for the civil rights movement; the church bombings and other violent actions of segregationists only advanced King’s cause.
Those nonviolent protests changed laws and changed lives. In today’s America, there are more successful African Americans—and more opportunities for African Americans to succeed—than at any point in our nation’s history.
Yet, recent events make painfully clear that America’s race issues are not fully resolved. George Floyd’s tragic death should bring us closer together. And peaceful protest can help do that.
Unfortunately, just as in previous protests, not everyone who has taken to the streets has come to build up the black community and bind us together.
Some believe their demands for change will never be taken seriously unless they demonstrate their willingness to “burn it down.” But burning things down only polarizes communities, making it even more difficult for a just cause to advance. Violence is not only unacceptable, it’s useless as a tool for bringing positive social change.
Also on the streets are Antifa anarchists and other radical extremists who see the protests as an opportunity to sow chaos and division, and who seek to incite the killing of police officers. They care nothing about honoring the memory of George Floyd or trying to work toward a more common understanding on race issues.
This, too, must not be tolerated.
Then, of course, there are political opportunists. They may not be in the streets, but they see what’s happening as a fantastic opportunity to score points and mobilize their bases. Their demands to defund or dissolve police forces are self-defeating and absurd. Shame on them. This is not a political issue; it is a moral one.
Rioters are destroying families’ futures and stealing the American dream. They have killed those sworn to protect us, harmed innocent citizens, and damaged many of the businesses that provide groceries, work, and necessary services in our minority communities.
Many of these businesses were already teetering on the edge due to the COVID-19 shutdown. Mob violence assures that many of them will never recover—and the jobs they provided will never return.
To bring about change in society, we must identify wrong policies and wrong actions where they exist. We must also hold accountable and punish wrongdoers. But we should not resort to lawlessness or stigmatize courageous, lawfully acting police officers.
We must also recognize that government can’t change hearts. This is work we must each do ourselves. We can start by asking ourselves the question posed by theologian Francis Schaeffer: “How should we then live?”
We can also help change the hearts of others, by reaching out in a spirit of grace, openness, and understanding. We must lift each other up and find ways to help heal those who have been harmed.
Only when we come together and listen to one another, rather than shouting at one another, can we begin to heal and to be healed.

Legal experts were stunned on Tuesday when GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming once again dropped a bombshell on witness tampering during her closing statement as vice-chair of the House Select Committee Investigating the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol.
“After our last hearing, President Trump tried to call a witness in our investigation,” she said.

“A witness you have not yet seen in these hearings,” Cheney continued. “That person declined to answer or respond to President Trump’s call and, instead, alerted their lawyer to the call. Their lawyer alerted us and this committee has supplied that information to the Department of Justice.”
“Let me say one more time, we will take any effort to influence witness testimony very seriously,” she added.

After the hearing, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) revealed the select committee has known about the call for a couple of days.
He said, “this has been an ongoing pattern, and we’re trying to send the message that witness tampering is a crime in the United States of America.”

Prof. Laurence Tribe of Harvard Law, who has argued three dozen cases before the Supreme Court, posted “WOW” on Twitter.
“This is HUGE,” Tribe argued.

Former White House ethics czar Norm Eisen wrote, “We already knew of multiple apparent incidents of witness intimidation. We just learned that President Trump may have attempted a 3rd.”‘
“18 USC 1512 punishes witness intimidation with fines, imprisonment for not more than 20 years, or both,” Eisen noted.
“Liz Cheney is smart to put down a marker by publicly calling out Trump for reaching out to one of the Committee’s witnesses,” former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti said.
Former prosecutor Katie Phang suggested that “Trump wasn’t calling to talk about the weather.”
“So, Trump tried to call a witness,” former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance noted. “The witness passed it on to their lawyer & the committee forwarded the information to DOJ. Former presidents are no more entitled to break the law by witness tampering than any other citizen.”
She added that “only the guilty try to tamper with witnesses.”
NBC News Chief Washington Correspondent said, “Witness tampering, attempted or otherwise, is a felony. Ask Roger Stone who was convicted of obstruction, impeding a congressional inquiry. Trump commuted his 40 month sentence before leaving office.”
“Wait, did Liz Cheney say Trump *called a witness* and that it’s been referred to the DOJ. Did this fool commit witness tampering THIS WEEK???” asked The Nation justice correspondent Elie Mystal.
