I Love My Daughter

I just watched a video of Heather, cooking. I saw many of Vicki’s features in my daughter who is doing great in her Women Empowerment!

Vicki is talking to me, explaining why she did what she did. She started managing people’s lives with her father. Then she managed James Dundon after she married him. She was fourteen and he was twenty-four! Then she managed, Ken Prather, and then her father again. Then she is managing Christine, then Garth, and here come Drew when her father died. On death’s door – here comes Shannon! Of course she wanted my daughter all to herself. She wanted a fresh start, and a fresh family member. She reasoned I didn’t deserve a fresh start, because I was not The Family Manager! You got to laugh! We are!

So, Vicki is alive in my daughter’s genes! I get to enjoy them -both! Sure I see myself in Heather who thought she would make a great manager of other people’s lives.

Didn’t there used to be a hyphen in Codependency? Before Heather disappeared from my life for two years (she just had to bond with Fresh-Vicki) I insisted she and her mother go to Codependency Anonymous. The three of us went to the Sonoma and took out books. But, what does a father know? Heather was sixteen!

Vicki couldn’t wait to get out of here, as she lay there in a half-dead state………

“How did I get sucked into this? My whole life!”

“Let me see. What to do? I got to get my son out of the cove. I know! I’ll pretend Drew did this drawing and – I’ll put a hyphen…….RIGHT HERE! Oh Vicki. You are so clever. This will confound my brother till doomsday. He thinks he’s so smart!”

God cut Vicki a big break!…………….The co-inventor of Sharpie Gate! The Lord giveth. And the Lord taketh away!

Heather got Melba’s genes. She loved to cook. She would cook all day for her only child, her son, who had four children.  Our family is, con-fused! Whenever one of us die – you get rid of another one – while everyone is in grief for the first one! I mean – death’s door is wide open! Let’s make a human sacrifice!

“Who’s in the mood for more grief?”

“Be fruitful, and multiply!”

Melba put a claim on Rosemary’s kids. Why didn’t she have more of her own? I asked for our mother’s jewelry box so I could give it to Heather – who wants another child! It looks like Drew and Shannon are not going to propa-gate! I don’t think my grandson is home while his Mom cooks away. I hope she has a baby girl.
