For twenty years I have been talking about founding a line of Bohemian Fashion. I played with ‘Rosamond Fashions’ inspired by my late sister’s image of beautiful women, but, greedy outsiders spoiled the Family Touch. Families – are Stories! Scholars say Genesis was written by a woman. When I read that my life was transformed! One day, I will tell you why. But, on this day, I found ‘California Barrel Company Apparel’.
My label will have a beautiful woman wearing a barrel. Sewn under the label is a poem from Joaquin Miller’s ‘Building the City Beautiful’. I would like it to be printed on real silk so it can be saved. This poem is about Mount Tamalpias where I camped with Rena for two days in 1970. The label-poem will be picked at random, like a fortune cookie.
