Because Vicki Presco refused to tell me who lived in that famous house at Rocky Point, and, who invited our sister to stay there, I get to air my best guess. My family, and interested outsiders, are blown away with my powers of deduction. I was told so little, because a biography of Rosamond was discussed, in her home, the day after she died. Knowing her artwork was not selling like it used to, there were dollar signs in their eyes – now that Christine was dead! They had visions of seeing ‘The Caretakers’ up on the silver screen, it now safe to let the world know – who they are!
Above is the guest house where Shamus and Vicki spent the night. From those big windows you can look down on the cove where Christine was swept into the sea. You do not need to go down there to know there were white caps to the horizon, and large breaking waves. No way could you get Rosamond down there. The idea that her daughter, Drew Benton, would sit ten feet from the many crashing waves – is unthinkable!
“In the seasonal moment, an artist known worldwide as Rosamond is considering a guest-house invitation. Patrons had frequently made such offers, and they had always been graciously, yet uniformly refused. But, on a brisk March day in 1994, Christine Rosamond uncharacteristically accepts one such offer. She is feeling more buoyant and happy then she has in years. As chilling winter fogs disperse, it seems a grand time for an outing..”
My niece, Shannon Rosamond, told me it was Sande Green who invited Christine to stay at the house at Rocky Point. Sande’s un-named husband would fly his private jet to Monterey on occasions. Did they rent the house at Rocky Point when they were in town, or, were they frequent guests of the owner?
In Snyder’s biography, Sande says Christine was intimidated by her husband’s wealth. Sande also tells how she got Christine drunk and up in the air paragliding over the Gulf. She says she was trying to overcome Christine’s fear of the water.
While my mother and I stood together outside the Rosamond Gallery in Carmel, a well-dressed man approached, paid his respects to Rosemary, and, gave me a dirty look without shaking my hand.
“Did you see the look he just gave you?” my mother asks.
“How could I miss it.” I replied.
“He’s a very wealthy and powerful man.” Rosemary told me.
I would wonder if he owned Rocky Point, and had power over my family, and saw me as a threat. Was this Sande Green’s husband? After seeing a photo of Alan C. Fox, this guy was not Fox.
When I and my friend arrived for the funeral, Michael pointed out an extremely beautiful blonde getting out of a limousine. Snyder met Sande and went gaga. Below are e-mails wherein I demand Shamus tell me the name of the owner of that house. He refused! Did Sande try to get Garth and Christine to mend their union? Or, did Sande arrange a party to celebrate my sister’s first year of sobriety?
After beholding the Buck Trust and related foundations, I now know how rich and powerful Robert Brevoort Buck, is. Sande knew – and her husband! I want to know Mr. Green’s name, because he landed his jet on Robert’s private airfield. How is that for the opening of – MY MOVIE!
