Emily Semple is a liar. She says she is for freedom of speech! Why then did she remove about ten of my posts that were critical of her and her friends. I asked hard questions! Emily is an ex-Slug Queen, who was elected by the people. She served on the board of Nightingale Advocacy, as did Alley Vlakyrie, and John Monroe, who compared me to the three black UofO athletes that were accused of rape.
Being a journalist, and owner of a registered newspaper in Lane County, I am interested in how the leftist-activists and anarchists judge who is a Good Guy, or Girl, and, who is a Bad Guy or Girl, without going through due process of law, or, running for office. Alley Valkyrie tried me before her facebook friends in what amounted to witch hunt and public shaming. There were death threats, thus, the public was not invited to participate like they are when they vote, or, serve on a jury. Alley’s Monsters did not know I was a “friend”, and when I copied and posted their cyber-stalking – that would have got Alley’s page, removed, they were shaken, and continued to harass me for the next two years. For Semple to delete my posts on her political page, is more cyber-bullying. She claims she upholds Freedom of Speech, but, will bypass this – to help the plight of the homeless – or so they say!
Emily and her lawless compatriots invaded the office of John Ruiz, City Manager of Eugene, because he closed down Whoville. Twelve were arrested for Trespass. If elected to the City Council, will Ms. Semple have a say so in replacing Ruiz? Will there be a case of REVENGE? Will the homeless non-voters let out a giant cheer as Emily socks it to them once again? Why should any voter support any homeless person if they chose to let the likes of Alley and Monroe, speak for them? Some of them squealed with glee as Alley Valkyrie criminalized me.

If I see one more word about her on your blog, your FB, or anywhere else, I will make sure that you experience all the fear and discomfort that she is experiencing right now. And no, this isn’t a physical threat, so don’t try to play victim. Frankly, I encourage you to contact EPD, as they already know all about you. I will not do anything illegal, but mark my word you will regret it if you write one more word about her. I will make sure that the entire community knows exactly how much of a sick fuck you are. Your picture, your name, and “samples” of your writing will be posted on every bulletin board in town. There will not be a single person in the Eugene/Springfield area who won’t know that you’re a sick stalker who won’t leave a stalker who won’t leave a young girl alone. Cut it out. Now. This is your first, last, and only warning.”
The EPD has no record of me, and never heard of me. Alley is firing up HER BASE, her homeless women who claim they were sexually abused – and the police did nothing! She is telling me, and her mentally ill followers, that I had escaped Justice – many times! This is extortion and blackmail of an innocent man, who had been asked to run for office! Valkyrie was rigging THE SYSTEM, letting me know she would ruin my political career if I exercised FREEDOM OF SPEECH. I wondered if Belle, or any members of SLEEPS were thinking of running for office.
Mary Broadhurst tried to stop the Lynch Mob from coming after me, but Alley, her fellow board member, pushed her aside. These people were, and are Political Animals, therefore, I get to hound them for a story – especially now that one of them wants a seat on the City Council. This mod hounded our City Government for years, and cost the tax payer much money. Will Emily vote to give money to Nightingale? Would this be a conflict of interest?
Below are three videos that show the arrest of Semple, Valkyrie, and Burch – who stays out of sight – and is only visible inside Riuz’s office, if you look close enough. Why would anyone who does not want to be seen, or heard, hang with folks who were on the news at least once a week? Why go after a newspaper reporter, who made Belle, very visible? These are not normal people. They are very exotic and highly specialized people, who expected me to remove all mention of Belle from my blog. They were blown away when I did not. I told them;
“I owe it to my peers, my fellow news people, not to cave in to threats!”
And, now one of them wants to run for PUBLIC office- and censor me some more? What part of PUBLIC don’t they understand? The Fifth Estate, and American Politics are the two pillars of Democracy. For Trump to declare our elections are rigged, and he will not concede in a honorable fashion, has his followers threatening our fist woman candidates life, and, a Civil War! We the People are done with Exotic Anarchists.

If I have one bedrock belief it is in freedom of speech. I have supported local activist groups very strongly when their fights have been about their rights to protest, as it was in the lawsuits protecting the right to protest at the old Federal Building and the Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza. Amy Goodman is defending the fundamental right of freedom of the press. I salute her.

Emily Semple may be the first member of OCCUPY to run for public office, thus, it is fair to subject her to all the questioning, even harassment, her anarchist friends forced our elected officials to endure in a un-democratic manner. One of the pleasures of this campaign has been seeing the diverse group of people who have come together to help my election. A lot of people think it is important to keep an independent voice on Eugene City Council. We have longtime Democratic Party campaigners, political activists, old friends and longtime neighbors, a fellow SLUG Queen, a Merry Prankster members of the South Willamette Neighbors and other Neighborhood associations and many others. I am running a traditional Eugene City Council campaign, where ordinary citizens and neighbors come together to elect someone they have known and trusted for years. As Eugene grows, I hope it will find a way for our local offices to continue to be a chance for ordinary citizens to come together to work for a common cause, and that out council races do not become determined by high priced political consultants and big money.

Since the Occupy Movement in 2011, she has worked “full-time without pay as an informal liaison between homeless campers and police” (Eugene Weekly) . John Monroe–Vice President
Activist and musician John Monroe studied philosophy at the University of Montana and has recently attended graduate school in Europe. He was an early member of the Occupy Movement, SLEEPS (Safe, Legally Entitled Emergency Places to Sleep), and the Kesey Square Revival and founded Nightingale Public Advocacy Coalition with his partner, Alley Valkyrie.
Louise Prevost–Secretary
Louise Prevost moved to Eugene, OR, as a child in 1963 and attended schools here up to and including the University of Oregon, where she earned a BFA Degree. In the last five years she has been homeless or underhoused for various periods, and spent time staying at the Mission, couch surfing , and earning a roof over her head via pet- and/or house-sitting and as a live-in personal home-care aid. Her experiences have instilled in her a sense of urgent need to see that the rights and basic necessities of the most vulnerable people of our community are met through community action.
Victoria Nelson–Treasurer
Vickie Nelson is a retired librarian who has been a social activist since the 1970s when she was a founding member of Growers Market and of the alternative newspaper the Willamette Valley Observer . As a writer and editor she gravitates toward communication tasks in most of the groups she belongs to. She is currently an editor of The Eugene Occupier and a member of the board of directors of SPOT (Stop Pet Overpopulatt0n Now), a group that helps low-income people spay and neuter their dogs. She has been advocating for the unhoused for the last few years.
John Mccahill–Director
John McCahill joined the Occupy Movement in Eugene almost as soon as he heard about it. He organized the kitchen and kitchen volunteers , solicited donations of funds and food, and took on the massive task of providing several hundred meals a day and keeping activists and unhoused people fed. He is also a regular volunteer at the Egan Warming Centers.

A self-employed graphic designer at Semple Design with an AAS from Lane Community College, she brings a dramatic flair to all her activities, serves as a Eugene Slug Queen, and works as a pastry chef at Ambrosia, a Eugene restaurant.

Mary Broadhurst has been involved in community organizing, first in the late 70s and early 80s as a VISTA volunteer with the Jobs and Justice Project and an organizer in the anti-nuclear movement. More recently she has been involved with Occupy Eugene, SLEEPS, and the Whoville Coalition. She is an Egan Warming Center volunteer. Mary is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law and a practicing attorney . For over 20 years she has represented students with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the educations to which they are entitled under federal law. A highlight of her career was as co- counsel before the United States Supreme Court. She has mediation experience and extensive experience facilitating meetings with school district administrators and staff. In 2012 she completed a three day training in Dynamic Facilitation: Conflict, Creativity , and Community. She also has been trained through the intermediate level in Nonviolent Communication.
