An Unknown Star Appears

I just watched the 1937 version of ‘A Star Is Born’. Who is this actress? She is called “Darling” but is not called by her name. What a beauty!

This Unknown Beauty threatens to slap Norman’s face because she is tired of being a co-dependent. She is the pretty lace curtains that open and close on the alcoholic stage. Beautiful woman, beautiful sunset. What could go wrong?

Christine Rosamond Benton drowned in the Pacific Ocean on her first sober birthday. There was a party planned out at Rocky Point. At her funeral reception held at the Rosamond Gallery in Carmel, Stacey got down on one knee, took my mother’s hand, and looking up at Rosemary Rosamond (who dated Errol Flynn when she was seventeen) dare say this;

“Don’t let the dream die. Your daughter’s career was taking off again. Reports of her shows across America say sales are wonderful.”

Pierrot………lied! It is inappropriate to discuss business an hour after one views the remains of the deceased, in this case, the body of the world-famous artist who signed the images of her beautiful women….

Michael had turned down Oliver Stone when his people asked for his antidotes about his good friend, Jim Morrison. He had shadowed Ms. Pierrot when she uttered her infamous line to see if she would repeat it. This is low drama, as low as you can go. Pierrot is running a campaign. She will have a legal team behind her. After she titles herself the “Caretaker” she says this in the first Rosamond Gallery webpage….

“I just couldn’t standby and watch all she worked for – drift away!”

Please, I must know her name. I might do a panting of her, she on the other side of the French doors about to make her entry.

I do not see her as being a starlet, but the daughter of a well-to-due family in Pasadena. She is educated and well-read. She got caught up in the drama of it all. Was she an artist?

She is the one that cried the hardest after they found Norman’s robe on the beach. She’s the one who gave him –  her all. It is her love that is about to set on the horizon, never to rise again. Norman alas, sees the big picture. Every dog has their day!
