The Mysterious Jacket
“And what significance does the jacket have? It isn’t oj’s glove…..”
Take a good look at this photo of Rocky Point and see how high up the
edge of the ice plants are.
Shamus and Vicki Presco claim a wave washed the suede jacket
Christine was wearing up this high. When did this wave do this –
after Christine managed to get it off while struggling for her life
for fifty minutes? Then, there could not have been one large “rogue
wave” as claimed. There had to be many large waves as getting this
leather-suede jacket off would have been quite a chore as it would
cling to Christine’s body. How long did it take? Once off, another
rogue wave came and washed it on the ice plants!
When Christine was taken from the water about 200 yards off from the
shore, she was wearing just a T-shirt! Why!!!!! The Coroner should
have asked questions. This is forensics!
“It is nearly impossible for Vicki to believe that the jacket she has
retrieved from the iceplant is the same one Christine was wearing.
The world become bleary as Vicki tries to grasp the fact that the
ocean must have reached this far up on the slope. Un-noticed, Vicki’s
hands snap and unsnap the fastenings at the waist.” page 5
SHAMUS: “I was bundled in a jacket myself the morning she died. It
was blustery. I only got hot after running around (jogging maybe)
looking for lizards. I doubt she took off the jacket b4 she was taken
by the wave.”
As for the jacket Christine was wearing, he told me he wondered as to
why it was in such good condition after it was in the ocean, then lay
by the sea for a week! Vicki had found it in the iceplants. When I
pointed out how high up the ice plants were in the photo, Shamus came
up with a theory of his own as to how it got off Christine. He
suggested the coat got snagged on a rock, and was pulled off as
Christine was pulled out through that crevis. It then got washed up
on the rocks, then, the wind blew it up the hill onto the iceplants.
This theory eliminates the idea there had to have been a third rogue
wave that washed it up that high as Vicki suggests in Tom Snyder’s
“There’s nothing fishy about 1 wave being right after another. Only
one wave is believed to have taken her out . The fact a smaller one
set her up for the big one is not suspicous by any means. You’ve been
near the ocean….You usually see more than one wave do you not?And
no I don’t see what you are going though. Why is it so impossible for
a jacket to be washed up and not be trashed? And what significance
does the jacket have? It isn’t oj’s glove…..IF there were a cover
up for any reason (which there’s not), don’t you think MORE details
would be provided instead of less?”
Well, “MORE” details have been added by Tom Snyder – and by Shamus
himself when he says it was “blustery”. This is the key that unlocks
the truth, and lifts the fog that has shrouded the scene of my
sister’s death. It is Mr. Snyder who puts MORE testimony in
Christine’s mouth, and like so many before him, he has gone to great
lengths to remove the “blustery” wind!
Take note that Shamus Dundon suggests THE WIND blew the kacket UP the
steep hill onto the iceplants.

When you get your new suede jacket home from the store, and before you even wear it, you should treat the suede to keep it looking great, especially if you live in a wet climate. Rain is notoriously ruinous to suede, so you’ll want to use a protector to help the water bead up and fall off of the jacket, rather than have it absorb and stain it. You can purchase a protecting spray from most shoe stores or fine menswear store, especially formulated for leather and suede. Spray the entire garment and allow to dry before you use it.
Wear and Care
While you enjoy your suede jacket, you may notice that certain activities and weather cause the suede to ball up and become rough over time. You can avoid this by taking certain precautions for care while wearing it. Stay out of harsh sunlight. Sun can bleach the suede, leaving it with discoloration that cannot be fixed. If you must clean the jacket at home, do so with a microfiber cloth or suede brush, but only to remove dirt. See if the jacket can be dry cleaned, and do so once every season to refresh the suede.
If you get a stain on your suede jacket, you may think that the jacket can’t be worn anymore. It’s true that some stains are nearly impossible to get out of suede because of the texture. However, some stains like salt or water can be taken out with a little TLC. For salty stains that are just on the surface, you can gently rub a pencil eraser over them to remove the small bits of suede that are stained without ruining the garment. If you notice a stain that has absorbed into the jacket, soak a cloth with rubbing alcohol and gently dab it on the stain to remove. If that doesn’t work, take it to a dry cleaner for professional help.
