In 1991 I entered therapy at Phoenix Rising. The woman who agreed to see me, had paintings of Phoenix Birds rising from the ashes of despair all over her walls. Many of them sere done by artist-client, because she specialized is artists and their – despair.

I wanted to end the falling out between Christine and I. My therapist asked me to bring photos of my family to our first session. When she saw the photo of Rosemary above, she said this;

“Your mother is evil!”

I was shocked! I wasn’t ready for that – off the top! Let’s add it all up………

Your father hates art, and, your mother is evil. Boy, do I have my work cut out for me!

The photo was taken at Christine’s wedding to Rick Partlow, who said this to me when he saw my artwork lined up along the walls in Christine’s office;

“This looks good. We can take over the art world.”

This is when I launched my massive critique of this out of work actor, and all the phomies in L.A. Rick’s good friend who starred in The Rookies, was there.

Vicki told me later, with a grin;

“When you were finished, no one knew who they were anymore.”

My therapist asked me to make a simple genealogy of my family. I asked her why? I ignored her request, and she dismissed me. Again I was shocked!

“What difference does it make?”

When I started watching the Sapranos, I studied their genealogy. I compared Tony’s mother to my mother, and concluded he got off easy. Victor feared his ex-wife, and never lay eyes on her after the divorce. They loathed each other through their children – their Messengers of Hate.

From that day, when the Phoenix Birds should have taken flight, till the day I saw my dear sister in her casket, we never lay eyes on each other. Our genealogy on the other hand goes on forever – all the way to Buckingham Palace!

There exist one and half biogrpahys of Christine, and a screenplay Carrie Fisher authored. So far, I am the only writer who wonders this……………How in the world did TWO Creative Souls rise from these distructive parents? Being outsiders, who never suffered the extreme abuse ALL four Presco Children did, these FAKES went after me, tried to eliminate me in their ignorant equation, so they can pretend they are honorary members of my family, even the real siblings. But, when they tried to ressurect Christine and her Success from the grave – FOR MONEY – they became Haters of Truth and Life!
