In Christine Rosamond’s Studio

My late sister, the world famous artist, Christine Rosamond, was known round the world for her images of beautiful women. Her fans challenged her to do a portrait of a male. She chose me as her model. In her studio, she and my friend, Brian Purvis, each shot a roll of film while I posed, let my inner self, out. I wanted Christine to capture the true me. On both films there appeared what looks like lightning, fingers of electricity. Christine was freaked, and abandoned the project. I was a follower of Meher Baba at the time, and had studied the Indian religion that told me we were energy and light beings.

I believe these photos were taken in 1974. You can see a large stretched canvas in the background, and, what I believe Mark’s tape machine he made. Christine liked to listen to music while she worked.

I had let my hair grow long after declaring I was a New Pre-Raphaelite, artists who rendered mystical women in history, some who played a role in the Grail Legends. After a spiritual wakening in 1967, I wanted to incorporate spirituality into my art. Little did I know that I would become a Grail scholar and genealogists that would discover the Knights Templar family who owned the Shroud of Turin. Because of my long face, I have been compared to the image on the shroud, some believe was made by an electrical energy of some kind.

Christine modeled for several of her paintings. She was a Rosamond Woman, the daughter of Rosemary Rosamond, and granddaughter of the author, Royal Rosamond who born four beautiful daughters into the world.
