Guy du Temple de Rougemont was born on 23 April 1935 in Paris. His father, Jean-Louis du Temple de Rougemont, was a Cavalry Officer. His mother, Louise Marie Cécile Lejeune, was descended on her father’s side from General Baron Lejeune, a battle painter. Guy de Rougemont was the eldest of five children. His brother, François de Rougemont, is a civil engineer and a graduate of Harvard Business School. His sister, Cécile Marie Edith du Temple de Rougemont, Duchess of Lorges, was a pupil of André Chastel at the Institut d’Histoire de l’Art and helped him discover Florence, guided by the illustrious art historian himself.[10] His second sister, Laure, Princesse de Beauvau Craon,[11] was President of Sotheby’s in France. Lastly, her younger sister, Anne de Rougemont, was AiméMaeght‘s assistant, then attached to the I.C.O.M,[10] and a member of the Association des Amis du Musée Georges Pompidou, before becoming assistant to Madame David-Weill, President of the Union des Arts Décoratifs, a union itself created by Mr Taigny, great-grandfather of Madame Louise Lejeune, the artist’s mother.[

his father’s will in 1679 nor thereafter. This James (or Jacob, for
these names were once interchangeable) was the son of Hans Ulrich
Rosemond, born 1623, a weaver; who was a son of Hans, a weaver, born
1581; who was a son of Fred Rosemond, born 1552, a weaver, member of
town council and a local captain; who was the son of another Hans
whose date of birth is not known, but he too, was a weaver and became
a citizen of Basle in 1534. His father was Erhart de Rougemont who
bought in 1495 “the house called Rebleuten-Zunft in Basle in the
Freistrasse.’ Peter Rosemond further reported information from the
Records Office in Basle that “before Basle the family resided in
Holland up to 1338, and it is said they descended from the estate
Rosemont, near Belfort, in France, where also the village Rougemont
is found.” A family coat-of-arms was registered in Basle about 1537
when the first Hans became a resident there. A reproduction of this
coat-of-arms in the writer’s possession shows a weaver’s crook
conspicuously, and it will be remembered that in Ireland our people
were linen weavers and farmers, and that Edward, the elder, was a
weaver in this country. Peter Rosemond had seen in print the letters
from Erasmus to Gotschalk Rosemondt. He noticed that a seal used by a
Rosemont in Holland, bearing a jumping fox, was like an emblem he had
noticed in a wall of the house Rebleuten-Zunft in Basle. This seal
dated back to 1430, whereas the coat-of-arms above mentioned dates
from 1534, it seems. Peter Rosemond died September 22, 1930. This is
but a sketch of what he wrote.”

Elizabeth Taylor’s Bel Air Estate to be Preserved in $47 Million Makeover
In an apparent about-face, the developer who purchased the star’s home has decided against demolition in favor of a 12,000-square-foot addition

August 14, 2026

Contrary to earlier reports, it appears that Elizabeth Taylor’s famed two-story ranch-style home at 700 Nimes Road in Bel Air will not be demolished. The 7,000-square-foot residence, where the star lived from 1981 until her death in 2011, will remain intact—though it’s getting a facelift. Per the New York Post, the estate’s 1.3 acres will undergo a $47 million makeover. Current owner and mega-mansion developer Ardie Tavangarian’s plans for the property include a massive 12,000-square-foot subterranean and above-ground buildout.
Brigade-General Louis-François, Baron Lejeune (3 February 1775 – 29 February 1848) was a French Army officer, painter, lithographer and politician who served in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Almonte The Fifty-First State

Dear Sir;
My name is John Presco. I am the grandson of Royal Rosamond, a regional writer who founded Gem Publishing. We are related to Alexander Rosamond, who is the subject of The Volunteer Monument in Almonte, and Bennett Rosamond, a Grandmaster of the Orange Lodge. We are related to Patriot Captain Samuel Rosamond who fought alongside the Swamp Fox in South Carolina. My great grandfather, James Rosamond was also a Patriot in Americas War of Independence. The Army Rangers have their roots here, as does my late sister Christine Rosamond who married into the Benton family who had much to do with the Oregon Territory. John Fremont married Jessie Benton, the daughter of Senator Thomas Hatt Benton, the first Proprotors of the Oregon Territory, and John Astor’s attorney.
Yesterday on the news I heard the Trump Chainsawman will fire 6,000 workers for the Veteran’s Administration. This morning I heard 60,000 will get axed Nationwide. The care of America’s Veterans will degrade rapidly. What I suggest, is, Canadian Voters found the 51st. State of Almonte in the area that once belonged to Canada. Almonte will be a Sanctuary State for all NATO Veterans, including Ukraine Veterans. Any veteran who suffers from fear they will be – cast out in the cold – can seek asylum in Almonte. I see another Volunteer statue in Vancouver, looking West of the water. I see two ships being built in Vancouver. the HMS Winston Churchill, a battleship, and the HMS Rosamond, a hospital ship. These ships will rescue soldiers of any NATO Nation, and soldiers of Ukraine, and bring them home to….Almonte. I see the building of a great Veterans hospital in Almonte.
I would like to be a Co-Curator of the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum (MVTM). I am seventy-eight years of age and am in danger of being rendered homeless with pending cuts to the Social Safety Net, and Medicaid. I am afraid to die in the street. I beseech you to help archive my blog, Royal Rosamond Press, which may be the largest blog in the world, and contins muc history of the Rosamond Family.
The Fifty-First State is a symbolic name, a place that many soldiers find themselves in, in battle, and, where they come home to. It is also the place they go to when they are MIA. I adopted my homeless friend who was a Veteran through the Elk Society so I could be in charge of his funeral arrangement. My local news said VA cuts will hamper burials. The will be a Unified Cemetery in Almonte, a name that means;
The Mountain
Sincerely
John Presco

The Volunteer by R. Tait McKenzie

The Volunteer is a tribute to 48 men of Almonte and area who were killed in WW1, as well as a tribute to an individual soldier.
Alexander Rosamond was heir to the prosperous Rosamond Woollen Company, a textile mill in Almonte. He happened to be in the UK on business in August 1914, and enlisted in the British army. In June 1915, he was granted a commission in the Canadian Expeditionary Force and joined the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLIs) in February 1916. He was killed at the Battle of Courcelette on September 15, 1916, aged 43. He has no known grave and his name is on the Vimy Memorial. He left behind his wife Mary and four daughters.
In a codicil to Rosamond’s will was a bequest: I instruct my executors to erect in some promising place in the Town of Almonte, a permanent memorial to all those who lost their lives in the present war who were from the Town of Almonte, Township of Ramsay and surrounding district. The town granted land for the purpose on Bridge St, beside the town hall. The figure was designed by sculptor (and WW1 physician, physical therapist and physical educator) R. Tait McKenzie. The monument was dedicated on September 11, 1923, “to the men of Almonte who fell for freedom.”
Bennett Rosamond Grand Master of Orange Order

Above is a photograph of Bennett Rosamond the Grand Master of the Orange Order in Canada. Bennett is with members of Lodge 389 in Lanark, or, Almonte. The image on the banner is that of William of Orange who is carried in Orange Parades. That is Bennett on the far right, looking like Gandalf, or, a Levite Prophet.
According to the History of the Rosemond Family by Leland Rosemond, the Rosamond family were members of the Orange Order in Leitrim Ireland, and fled to Canada after a Rosamond son killed a Catholic lad who was invading the Rosamond home with a gang bent on doing my kindred harm.
Bennett may have been a Freemason as well – and an Oddfellow. There is a long history of the Rosamonds belonging to Guilds. They were members of the Swan Brethren.
My grandparents, Royal and Mary Magdalene Rosamond, begat my mother, Rosemary Rosamond, and her sisters, Lilian, Bonnie, and June Rice.

On Tuesday I was going to attend the Belmont Chamber of Commerce meeting via my computer. I then found the home of John and Elizabeth Warner in Virginia. On the 4th. McCarthy was ousted and the news that the Republican Party is over, and is not what it used to be, began. Senator John Warner was the epitome of a Good Republican. He married my cousin, Elizabeth Taylor, who was a Good Liberal
This is a Southern Farm where the Warners found happiness. I believe Liz was not aware of her Southern Patriot roots. After Kamala Harris was elected Vice President, I tried to share her Oakland roots with the Belmont Historic Society. I was ignored, snubbed, then insulted. I had been discussing Oakland’s Victory with my friend, Ed Howard, a black historian, when I thought about my German roots in Belmont. Not sure what was going on, I wondered if I was dealing with right-wing conservatives. I just founded the Marin Sea Cadets, and posted this idea on the Belmont page. This is before the Jan.6th. Insurrection that is being covertly planned. If it had been a success, then armed Red State Traitors may have marched into California, in order to subdue the Democratic Majority.
I am convinced the Insurrection is continuing. In researching for this post I found this.
Russia just killed hundreds of citizens in a rocket attack on mourners. The Election Denying Insurrections are going to cut funding for the Ukraine, which will ultimately threaten our military standing in the world, and weaken every American citizen – as planned. Write your Senator and Congressman, along with the President and Vice President, and beg them to implement Warner’s Military Insurrection Plan!
Jim Jordon, and other members of the Christian Insurrection Party, want to aim Putin’s Army at LGBTQ people all over the world. I suspect some folks at the Belmont Historic Society saw me as the most dreaded political candidate that Belmont would ever experience, if my plan to move there came to fruition. All politicians employ their heritage in running for office. To be denied my heritage, for political reasons, is a violation of my Civil Rights, and a declaration of culture warfare against my Family Tree!

If you ever wanted to live like a queen, residing in Elizabeth Taylor’s former manor would be a fabulous place to start.
‘The Rosamond’ An American Privateer
Posted on March 29, 2014 by Royal Rosamond Press

Several days ago I discovered there was a ship named Rosamond that was a Privateer. I wonder if she was owned by Captain Samuel Rosamond of Charleston. She was sunk with all hands lost. She was carrying $100,000 in plunder. I have been looking as to why the Rosamonds got up and left South Carolina and moved to Mississippi. Did Samuel mortgage everything in order to purchase this ship, including his two homes on Bay? Was this ship deliberately grounded so the fortune would not have to be shared with other investors? The Rosamond family bought several tracts of land in Mississippi and built plantations on them.
The ship above in the USS Providence carrying eight guns. The Rosamond would be of this size.
Every American Grandson would love to hear stories of family Pirates. Tyler Hunt will not be hearing any stories from his grandfather for he was kidnapped by the pirate imposter, Barnacle Bill, the drunken fake sailor man who never served his nation in time of war.

Early in. the War of 1812 most of the ‘[ American privateers were small pilot boats, but it was soon found that they were too weak to capture many vessels, as most of the English merchantmen were too heavily armed for them. This led to the construction of powerful i swift-sailing craft, mounting twelve, j eighteen, twenty-four and even thirtyi three pounders, and manned by 120 and j 100 men—veritable corvettes —which ‘ were sent to sea at private expense. Of j this class were the privateers Paul Jones, Rosamond, Saratoga, General Armstrong and Tb’rktown. Perhaps the most formidable of all was the frigatebuilt ship America, a privateer which was purchased in France in 1793 byGeorge Crowninshield. Many of our merchant vessels, transformed into privateers, proved to be formidable craft. In fact, a large proportion of our merchantmen were built with a view to speed; for, thanks to British interference in our mercantile affairs, the American shipowner had found it preferable to sacrifice a little carrying space in his ships to additional speed, as It would enable him to outsail the British cruiser and thus avoid disastrous delays and degrading impressments.—
On 9 January 1813 while cruising between Curacao and the Spanish Main FELLOWES retook a brig and learnt that she had been taken by one of three American privateers in the area.
He went in pursuit and discovered her the next morning off Porto Cabello and after a long chase he got within range at 2 o’clock on the morning of the 11th. and drove the privateer ashore on Point Hicacos.
Her commander and 24 men were drowned trying to reach the shore. She proved to be the ROSAMOND of 8 heavy guns and 105 men and she had on board 100,000 dollars in specie beside other plunder.

Elizabeth Taylor In Bond’s London
Posted on November 28, 2019 by Royal Rosamond Press

Two days ago, I discovered my kindred, Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, made an album with John Barry who composed a James Bond theme. Liz is on the cover and recites a poem by Woodsworth. She also recites Pitt’s famous defense of America, and, the forming of a lasting bond. This renders Liz my ultimate muse. I dismiss the others for lack of enthusiasm. Liz created a Artistic Dynasty via Marriage Certificates. The art collector, Paul Melon, is in the Rosamond Family Tree, due to Liz’s marriage to John Warner. Her son, Christopher Wilding, married Aileen Getty, and thus is kin to Ian Fleming, who wanted Richard Burton to play Bond in the first movie.
This post is under construction. I have to sort out these videos. The first two introduced a powerful woman in the word Ian Fleming created. Music is very key to setting the mood and theme. The maker of the new Bond movie spent millions – struggling!

Earth has not anything to show more fair:
Dull would he be of soul who could pass by
A sight so touching in its majesty:
This City now doth, like a garment, wear
The beauty of the morning; silent, bare,
Ships, towers, domes, theatres and temples lie
Open unto the fields, and to the sky;
All bright and glittering in the smokeless air.
Never did sun more beautifully steep
In his first splendor, valley, rock, or hill;
Ne’er saw I, never felt, a calm so deep!
The river glideth at his own sweet will:
Dear God! The very houses seem asleep;
And all that mighty heart is lying still!
William Woodsworth
Dame Elizabeth Taylor is today making a rare public appearance in Britain, taking centre stage with the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Rivalling Taylor for top billing at the Palace investiture is Mary Poppins and Sound of Music star Dame Julie Andrews.
The British actresses, who have both won Oscars, were made Dame Commanders of the Order of the British Empire in the Millennium New Year Honours List.
In the Palace ballroom, Andrews, 64, will be first to receive her insignia for services to acting and entertainment. Next (in alphabetical order) Taylor, 68, will meet the Queen and receive her Dame Commander’s brooch. Taylor is honoured for services to acting and charity, recognising her fundraising for Aids research.
The investiture – the ceremonies are now recorded for television – promises to be one of the most glittering in recent times. Rarely have two such big stars been honoured at the same investiture.
An exhibition of portraits of Dame Elizabeth Taylor opens at London’s National Portrait Gallery on Thursday, and she will be the guest of honour at a charity spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on May 26 to raise money for Aids research.
On May 24, the British Film Institute will honour her with a BFI Fellowship at a tribute dinner at the Dorchester Hotel. Another highlight of a planned series of events in her honour is the National Film Theatre’s programme of a dozen classic Liz Taylor movies, including the epic Cleopatra in which she starred with Richard Burton.
In 1957, Warner married banking heiress Catherine Conover Mellon, the daughter of art collector Paul Mellon and his first wife, Mary Conover, and the granddaughter of Andrew Mellon. By his marriage, Warner accrued substantial capital for investing and expanding his political contacts. The Warners, who divorced in 1973, have three children: Virginia, John W. Warner, IV, and Mary. His former wife now uses the name Catherine Conover.[2]
John Warner married actress Elizabeth Taylor on December 4, 1976 at the Second Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia. They divorced on November 7, 1982.

In such a cause, your success would be hazardous. America, if she fell, would fall like a strong man. She would embrace the pillars of the state, and pull down the constitution along with her. Is this your boasted peace? Not to sheathe the sword in it scabbard, but to sheathe it in the bowels of your countrymen? Will you quarrel with yourselves, now the whole House of Bourbon is united against you…
Richard BurtonThe good looking actor who was known for his Shakespearean roles as well as his tumultuous relationship/marriages to Elizabeth Taylor reportedly turned down the first 007 role. Author Ian Fleming specifically wanted Burton when a movie adaptation was suggested in the late ’50s, but the Welsh actor thought it was too big a risk and had demanded a fat paycheck as well.
I am looking for descendants of Philip Rosemond and Moses Morton Rosemond who lived in Guernsey County, OH in the mid-1800s. This family descended from a James Rosemond who lived in County Leitrim, Ireland in the early 1700s. Other members of this same family settled in Lanark, Ontario, Canada.
The southern Rosamond family is also said to be descended from this same family, as are the Rosamond families in Australia and New Zealand. I am trying to tie all the branches of the family together. The information on the family in Guernsey County, OH is shown below. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has any information regarding this family.
The reference for the earlier generations of this family is the booklet “The
History of the Rosemond Family” by Leland Eugene Rosemond, 1939.
Thanks.
To discover Liz was born in Augustus John’s house, with twenty paintings on his wall, says it all. Her father was sent home to America to be John’s agent in America. Her uncle Howard was a purchaser of fine art for the American rich. He played poker with his good friend, General Eisenhower, Commander of all Allied forces. Though it appears Monica Delacroix is Bond’s mother, I see this as a code denoting Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, and ‘The Rose Croix’ of the world, and, THEY made their move when Hitler put a price on the head of Empress Zita von Habsburg, whose son co-founded Pan-Europa!

Above is a stain glass of Humbert 111 Comte De La Roche, and Lord of Rougemont. He is holding the Shroud of Turin.
In 1938, my kin, Leland Rosamond published his study of the Rosamond-Rougemont Family. I was not born, yet, nor was my enemy, who after reading my copyrighted article on the Rougemont family owning the shroud, used Geni to search for a Rougemont connection to his name, and found it. Hence he is claiming as much of Leland and my family history – that is concurrent. There are books about the Rosamond family, and my famous sister, Christine Rosamond, a world famous artist. There is a movie script. Thibault Rougemont would bless my endeavors to remember him, and carry on his illustrious name!
Today, I found no reason to assume the identity of any Knight Templar, or group of Knight Templars, until my Belmont California Prophecy came true. Theo Baker has made Stanford and nearby cities, a poweful epicenter of Artificial Intelligence, that threatens to take over the world.
On this day, August 15, I anoint the late Denis de Rougemont, the spiritual head of the….

Denis de Rougemont was titled ‘The Prince of European Culture’. He was at the first Bilderberg meeting, and is considered a co-founder of the European Union. Frederich the Great granted the Rougemonts of Neufchatel a title of old nobility when he came to this area in Switzerland. Rougemont was the Director of Congress of Cultural Freedom that employed Writers and Artists against the Soviet Block.

“The Huguenot tradition in the family, confirmed by such sources as
O’Hart’s Irish Pedigrees and Agnew’s French Protestant Exiles,
suggests a French origin also and this has been found in the

southwestern Germany. Why this source seems preferable for our origin
will be mentioned again.
