On August 17, 2026, at 3:38 PM. I found the genealogy of William Houston Rozier, the son of William Earl Rozier Jr. Bill manges his fathers tree, and thus it is he that cried out for help……because he does not know who his great grandfather is, and thus his linage to Thibault 1V Rougemont – is questionable! Are we looking at Ancestry Fraud, and, Identity theft? Has Bill Rozier been soliciting money from my Facebook friends?

William Rozier Obituary
Funeral service for William Earl Rozier Jr., 79, of Anniston, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Randy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 – 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Rozier died Sunday at his home. Survivors include his wife, Betty Strange Rozier, of Anniston; daughter, Darlene Rozier Johnson (fiancé, Rick Gillies); son, William Houston Rozier (Shelia White); grandson, John Bart Waddell (Jenny) and great-granddaughter, Alex Waddell; sister, Elma Reddit, of North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Rozier is preceded in death by his parents, William Earl (Boss) Rozier and Mary Lee Bowers, of Carrollton, Miss.; sister, Martha Virginia Rozier; brothers, Harris Oakes, Thomas Oakes and Milton Oakes. Mr. Rozier was an Army veteran and retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Church on the Rock, a charter member of the Cheaha Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and past member of the General Tige Anderson Sons of Confederate Veterans. The Cheaha Chapter of the Alabama Society Sons of the American Revolution met Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 12:30 p.m. in the Anniston Room of the Anniston/Calhoun County Public Library. Special guest speaker was Scott Martin, presenting a special program on the role of “The Scottish in the American Revolution”. Following the presentation Mr. Martin was presented the National Society’s Challenge Coin by Cheaha Chapter President Ron Burson and Vice President Randy Boyer.
The Sons of the American Revolution is a national organization made up of the male descendants of the patriots who helped secure America’s independence and promotes our nation’s heritage and history. Meetings are open to the interested public.
