On October 9, 2025. I john Presco found a small book about the history of Belmont. There is a image of a house on the Ralston Estate that may have belonged to my Janke Ancestors, even William Stuttmiester, who was married at Ralston Hall. The other possibility is, it could have belonged to William Sharon, whose history in Belmont, is non-existent? Why?
From the same source. I found a letter proposing the City come up with $800,000 dollars to purchase three properties. One is a small hill that is to be leveled. Did the Janke monument sit upon this hill – that was moved to Redwood City in the middle of the night? There should be s record = if citizen taxes paid for this land!
