Chapter: Broadway Al and the Record Matrix
At the end of my hour conversation with Anita and Jan Witte, I told them…
“I love you!”
The three of us had concluded we are on a quest to get Christine Wandel’s trunk back to her, that Broadway Al took out of her basement on Carmine Street. Raw tapes of Jimmy Hendrix got destroyed. Anita suggested there were books in that trunk because it was so heavy. Al was in his sixties. It was – his cross to bear?
My ex-wife found a large trunk in the attic of a house she bought in Richmond. There were postcards from Germany in it – with Swatiska stamps. My character, Berkley Bill Bolagard, finds a trunk in the atic of a Victorian slated for demolition. I used the house we lived in with The Loading Zone. I used Christine’s home on Hancock Street as a model for my my story. Bill talks with Monica’s father in his library, and his books become central to my science fiction novel,

Ken Kesey took Further of England – in search of Merlin! Anita asked me how much of the Gideon has been written. I told her I ran into a stumbling block. I could not figure out how Bill and other prisoners shorted out the Gideon Computer….Broadway Al showed me how – from hither side.

Plotnik and Trommers owned the store, Kaye was an employee – he met future bandmate Patti Smith while working there. Ian Sinclair and I belonged to a Knights Templar yahoogroup where he worked hard to get me banned. He claimed a wheel had come off my cart. Sinclairs Keep Attacking Me

Above are photos of Ian Sinclair who worked hard for his clan to get me and another skeptic evicted from a Knight Templar yahoogroup. He did not like my posts that showed a bevy of real Knight Templars with the name de Rougemont, the speculative source of my family name Rosamond. Other researchers have pointed out the Sinclair family has no connection to any Knight Templar, but for the fact they helped persecute them.
Buck Oil and Gideon Computer Prison

Yesterday, Facebook was down for five hours. I scolded Christine Wandel for trying to dictate what I write about that damn house in Wilkes-Barre. She asked where the old manual typewriter was I sent her UPS. She got the date wrong. It arrives today – as does Time and Destiny that I wrote about in 1986 in my novel ‘The Gideon Computer’.
It is 6:45 A.M. October 5, 2021. I just read a message from Peter Shapiro;
“Here’s a really good idea; how about you and I open a bed and breakfast in WB for cat lovers?”
Several years ago Peter was going to pay my way to Wilkes-Barre in order to climb into Christine’s attic and see what is going on with her roof. The Gideon Computer begins with Berkeley Bill Bolagard climbing into the attic of a Victorian in Oakland, that is the house we three lived in with The Loading Zone. Bill falls in love with Monica and is in her home on Beacon Hill. I used Christine’s house on Beacon Hill as a model. She said she wants to write about her old home on Hancock street once she get the typewriter.
For ten days I have been rehearsing what I am going to say to my therapist about the Buck family who sold my families Art and Literature Legacy to outsiders – WHO CONTAMINATED IT – like Buck Oil contaminated the dramatic rocks just outside the Golden Gate. Frank H. Buck owned oil wells on Ventura Beach and shipped the oil to the refinereies at Martiniz where my grandfather lived in a houseboat. Buck raped the woods around Springfield. Monies from exploiting oil and timber, seeded the Buck Institute in Marin who snubs me because of my fight with Robert Brevoort Buck.
Belle Burch, Alley Valkyrie, and other anarchist members of SLEEP destroyed activism in the Emerald Valley. They took the homeless hostage and used the as human shields. They helped the Buck Dynasty.
Facebook is being accused of contaminating the Social Computer and doing much damage.
OMG! I just googled Land End for images and found Belle Burch in the labyrinth. I lie in bed contemplating how to save her, and Christine Rosamond, who became corrupt. A record’s matrix information is normally found in its ‘runout’ – the space between the end of the grooves and the label.
Identification and Organisation
Matrix numbers help identify individual sides of a record. They usually consist of a combination of letters and numbers. Sometimes they will even include additional symbols that differentiate that specific record from another pressing. The codes are assigned during the mastering process and are used to organize and manage the production of vinyl records.
Matrix numbers are typically etched or stamped into the runout groove of each side of a vinyl record. This alphanumeric code uniquely identifies each side of the record. For a standard LP (Long Play) album, there are typically two matrix numbers, one for each side, distinguishing between side A and side B. This identification ensures clarity in labelling and prevents confusion during production and distribution.
Mastering Information
The matrix number often includes information about the mastering engineer, the mastering studio, and the date of mastering. This allows enthusiasts to trace the origins of a specific pressing and gain insights into the expertise behind the sound quality.
Manufacturing Details
Matrix numbers also provide details about the manufacturing process. This includes information about the pressing plant, the stamper used, and sometimes the edition or batch of the record. Collectors value these details, as they can impact the rarity and desirability of a particular pressing.
Quality Control
Vinyl records go through a series of quality control measures during production. Matrix numbers help in tracking and identifying any issues that may arise, allowing for better quality control and ensuring consistent standards.
Matrix numbers are often associated with the specific stamper used during the manufacturing process. The stamper is the metal, circular part of the machining hardware that presses the grooves into the vinyl material during the record-making process. Quality control involves monitoring the condition of the stamper to ensure that it is in optimal shape. Any defects or wear on the stamper can result in audible imperfections on the final product.

Different Pressings
Reissues or different pressings of the same album may have distinct matrix numbers. Collectors often use these codes to distinguish between various versions of a record, each with its own unique characteristics or historical significance.
First and early presses of records often have their matrix information either pressed or stamped into their record’s dead wax space in a very particular way – often being represented by an A1 B1 code, or something similar. You may even see variations like A//1 B//1 or 1Y//1 2Y//1, for example.

Tolkien Legends can come to Oregon, and Oregon be seen as a co-owner of a Literary and Artistic Genealogy and Legacy that I have come to own in so many amazing ways. I am seventy-six years of age, and will not live forever. However, my Family Legend will. How do I make the State of Oregon Heir to my visions and work. I have worked with the homeless and would like us to find a way that any monies realized from this Literary Estate, can go for low-cost housing for the homeless. Will this housing be on a money-making real estate market – eventually? Has a new way to make investments in housing the homeless yet to be discovered?
I just read an article that suggests there was unethical business practices in Amazon securing a billion dollar tax free haven in Marrow. This dovetails nicely with the La Mota ethics scandal. I applaud the resignation of Fagan and the search for new Ethical Frontiers. This is a huge giveaway, not unlike the two hundred million you obtained to help the homeless. Is Uncle Sam getting his fair share? The Republican’ are refusing to raise the debt ceiling unless Biden makes drastic cuts. Howmany other giant corporations are not paying their fair share?.

On my blog you will see the Amazon Fulfilment plant. I want a thousand foot appartment cut in the corner of it – overlooking the Columbia!. I will live here – rent free! I will get Amazon healthcare and a thousand a month. I want a small electric car to go shopping. In an emergency, a Amazon helicopter will fly me off the roof to the nearest hospital. Also, I want Amazon to purchase the old power plant and turn it into a Guild and Museum for Fantasy Authors. There will be limited residency. Perhaps solar panels could fill the large arias, and The Guild could sell it excess electricity.
Governor, I hope that being upfront is helpful in you considering my proposal and the needs of the State of Oregon. I am kin to Christopher Lee who played Saruman. We do not want Oregon’s Literary Legacy and Windfall to fall into the wrong hands. The two towers you see on the old plant, and the electrical devices, can be used to do – evil! I have a daughter, but she keeps going over to the dark side. In a couple of days I will write you and ask for moneys to go to England to attend the showing of a woman’s paintings. She lived over a hundred years. This journey will secure for Oregon – a Grail Ring!

Amazon doesn’t actually have the rights to The Silmarillion. This means the series will be based on The Appendices at the end of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Which, admittedly, does overlap in stories between the two books, but if it is mentioned in The Silmarillion and not in the Appendices, it is off-limits. And this has to do with the rights from the Tolkien Estate and from J.R.R. Tolkien himself.
