I have dropped in on several Bond chat groups on Facebook. Many fans want a retro-Bond. I am going to push ‘LA Bond’ that will take place in Los Angeles in 1965. My series will be a like the old Dragnet shows, where every week James deals with a LA Weirdo. Steve Allen is his good friend that shows him the ropes. Stevereno knows Bond suffers from shell shock. Rockford Files is here with walk-ons by Gypsy Boots who inducts Bond into his cult following of Health Nuts. Shades of ZARDOZ. There a large British Diasporas in Tinsel Town.
Bond also has a close bond with Thomas Pynchon who lives in Manhattan Beach with Mary Ann Tharaldsen. The old Bond movies were full of werirdos. James Bond was a weirdo, as was Ian Fleming and his mother – who might still be alive and living in Weirdoville!.
“James. You really should see your mother, after all these years. She had amnesia after suriving the valance. She snapped out of it. Its like – YOU BOTH ARE REBORN!” pleaded Gypsy.
“I can’t handle having a mother! It’;s fooken weird!”
“This is her picture. She knew all the LA Jazz artists. She’s a torch singer, and good friend of Nat King Cole..”
“Wow! What a looker!”

Tragically, Monique and Andrew met their fate during a mountain climbing expedition in the Aiguilles Rouges near Chamonix. Eleven-year-old James was left orphaned after their demise. Monique’s affectionate nature left a lasting impression on James, even though he sometimes resented it. In moments of pain and vulnerability, he longed for the security she provided1.
Interestingly, in Jeffery Deaver’s Bond continuity, Monique was not just a photojournalist but also a freelance Spy Hunter for MI6. Her untimely assassination in the Alps by Russian operatives added layers of intrigue to her character. The operation aimed to eliminate a spy who had come too close to exposing several Russian agents, inadvertently taking out her husband, Andrew, in the process1.
So, while Monique Delacroix-Bond may not have graced the silver screen, her legacy lives on in the Bond universe—a mix of love, adventure, and espionage.

However, following recent updates from James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, it seems the franchise is almost doomed. Confirming that “nothing is happening yet” via Deadline, Broccoli informed fans that there are no updates on Daniel Craig’s successor. This update seemingly convinced fans that the damage is done, and it’s even beyond Henry Cavill’s capabilities to rectify.

Life and career[edit]
Bootzin was born in San Francisco, California, to Russian Jewish immigrants. His father, Max, worked as a broom salesman. His mother, Mushka, raised Bootzin and his four siblings in a vegetarian household,[2] while also leading the family on hikes in the hills, performing Russian folk dances and feeding the homeless with her home-baked black bread.[2]
Bootzin’s older brother, John, died of tuberculosis as a young man; this led to Bootzin’s decision to grow his hair long and pursue healthful, natural living.[3]
By 1933, he had dropped out of high school and left home to wander California with a group of self-styled vagabonds. In the 1940s, Bootzin, along with ten to fifteen other “tribesmen,” lived off the land in Tahquitz Canyon near Palm Springs,[4] slept in caves and trees, and bathed in waterfalls.[4] Decades ahead of the Hippie movement, Bootzin and his companions had long hair and beards, lived a carefree existence, and were seasonal fruit pickers. The group became known as “Nature Boys.” A combination of the philosophy of the Nature Boys and growing counterculture of the 1950s and 1960s in California may have been responsible for the emergence of California spirituality in the 1960s.[5]
The 1948 Nat King Cole hit “Nature Boy” was inspired by Bootzin and his fellow “tribesmen” and was composed by eden ahbez.[3]

When Jim Morrison spotted Kaye, he pulled out his wangy-doodle and shouted;
“Hey Kaye! Play some deep base riffs on this?”
Kaye did her best to ignore this obscene jester that had Jim’s audience hooting. Not to be denied, Jim hopped off the stage on to a table, then another as he made his way to where James Bond sat with his first Los Angeles date. He had disobeyed his psychiatrists orders, and gave an infamous wink to Kaye as she got out of the car with Bryan MacLean who took her up to the mansion once owned by Bela Lugosi. As Kaye stood to avoid being trampled by rock and roles latest mad man, James stood, and in one deft motion, body-slammed Morrison down on the table knocking the wind out of him. Feeling a hand tugging on his shoulder, 007 turned to get a blast of lewd poetic rage from Michael McClure.
“You can’t treat my poet that way, you limey bastard!” slurred drunken McClure who went flying across the room after Bond delivered a right cross. The Beatnik Bard…..was out cold, They had met at the castle party a few nights before, and, McClure got pissed when James could recite all the poetry of Keats and Shelly.
Mr. McClure rose slowly wiping the blood that poured from his nose. Pointing his red hand at Bond, he put a curse on this agent – who had a license to kill.
“You don’t know who you are fucking with. I will sick the whole Bohemian Nation upon you. Like a pack of hyaenas. we will bring you down! Mark my words……Mr. Bond!”

It is 11:14 P.M. and very hot. It is going to be 114 tomorrow. so I am going to start this post tonight. I wrote the above about four hours ago, and then did some research. I believe the Manson murders were conducted by M15 and the CIA. However, there might be a group in Britain that are extremely cruel and lethal. I got a glimpse of them in a documentary about the Boar War, and the battle for India.
I read an article that says M15 accused John Lennon of funding the IRA. There are unsolved murders in Britain involving people involved with Charlie Manson.
