My Candidacy Declaration

I made these posts an hour ago. I declare I am a Republican Candidate for the Office of President of the United States. I am looking for people to help me get registered as such. I am not accepting any donations – at this time.

I want Elizabeth Newman to be my White House Chief of Staff.

  • A former Department of Homeland domestic terrorism expert said the Trump administration is letting right-wing extremists “start a race war.”
  • Elizabeth Neumann stepped down in April from her role as an assistant secretary at the DHS.
  • Neumann criticized speakers at this week’s Republican National Convention portraying the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests as “lawless” when it is white supremacists instigating the violence.
  • “It is completely a sideshow to distract from the real threat and it’s extremely dangerous,” Neumann said on “Skullduggery,” a Yahoo News podcast.

Elizabeth Neumann, a former assistant secretary of the Department of Homeland Security specializing in domestic terrorism, said the Trump administration is allowing right-wing extremists to “start a race war.”https://www.dianomi.com/smartads.epl?id=3533

Neumann, who resigned in April 2020, appeared on an episode of Skullduggery, a Yahoo News podcast, on Friday to discuss her dissatisfaction with how the speakers at this week’s Republican National Convention described Black Lives Matter protestors.

RNC speakers portrayed cities with ongoing protests in Democrat-run states as “lawless,” brushing over instances of white supremacists escalating to violence during the demonstrations. Neumann called the portrayals “completely a sideshow to distract from the real threat.”

“There are multiple arrests that the FBI has conducted in the last few months at these peaceful protests where you have right-wing extremists coming in trying to take advantage of the cover of the protests to carry out these violent acts and they are trying to start a race war,” Neumann said.

Neumann, who also worked under President George Bush, said more people had been killed by white supremacists in the US than every other domestic terrorism threat combined.

    Guardians Of Our Voice

Here is the painting I am working on. It is titled ‘Guardians of Our Voice’. I am inspired by the photo of the two women carrying the electoral votes that I just learned were being taken to the Senate Chamber, and not removed. I will have these women coming to the crest of a hill from out of the advancing darkness. They are carrying the Ark of our Democratic Voice. They are like Guardian Angels.

When the mob advanced on the building, Brown said those inside could hear barricades coming down before they were told by Capitol Police to rush down the stairs and into the basement. They were eventually sheltered in an office building.

“We were definitely anticipating (the crowd) getting a lot bigger, but we didn’t see any of the violence or destruction coming — I don’t think anyone was expecting it to go that far,” she said.

Brown said that staffers were warned by supervisors ahead of Wednesday to take precautions while entering and exiting the building and to be ready to spend the night if objections by Republican members of Congress to Joe Biden’s victory ran long.

A 19-year-old chamber assistant has shared the backstory of a viral photo showing her carrying a leather box of electoral votes ahead of the U.S. Capitol being overrun by a violent mob.

The picture was hailed as an example of the small acts of heroism by congressional staff to protect the votes before members of Congress and their staffs fled to safety, but assistant Virginia Brown has clarified that the photo was actually taken hours before the siege by pro-Trump supporters.

Brown, who is a sophomore at Atlanta’s Emory University, spoke to The Washingtonian about Wednesday’s frightening ordeal. She was in the middle of her workday as a chamber assistant for the Democratic Cloakroom when rioters forced the Senate to adjourn.

The photo of her and another assistant carrying the leather box went viral after being shared on Instagram by best-selling author Glennon Doyle.https://www.instagram.com/p/CJuiYpvhm7j/embed/captioned/?cr=1&v=8&wp=697&rd=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.today.com&rp=%2Fnews%2Fwoman-pictured-carrying-electoral-votes-capitol-shares-story-behind-photo-t205329#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A5956.364999998186%2C%22ls%22%3A3089.160000003176%2C%22le%22%3A3134.5149999979185%7D

“Here are the women — Senate aides — who had the presence of mind and courage to protect, keep safe, and transport the electoral votes before fleeing the Senate — which was under siege by domestic terrorists,” Doyle wrote. “There will always be villains. There will always be heroes.”

Brown’s mother also commented on Doyle’s post, writing, “This is my daughter – she is a fierce defender of democracy and of wild women everywhere. So proud.”

But Brown clarified that the photo was actually taken hours earlier, around 1 p.m., and not while members of Congress and staff were being moved to a safe location as rioters stormed the building.

“People got confused with the photos of us carrying the boxes earlier in the day, they kind of put those two together, but it was the Senate parliamentarian staff (that rescued the electoral college votes),” she told The Washingtonian. “It definitely would’ve destroyed a lot of the ability to continue on afterwards if (the votes) had been left in the chamber, because they have to physically look through the boxes and count.”
