My angel woke me about 3:30 A.M. and told me to give my grandson his rightful male surname that can be traced to his grandfathers thru his grandfather John Presco, and his Great Grandfather, Frank Wesley Rosamond, whose pen name is, Royal Reuben Rosamond. Royal’s mother is Ida Louisiana Rose, the daughter of John Wesley Rose.
What I realized yesterday, is the surname HUNT comes from Holly Hunt, that was given to her son, Ryan Hunt, Tyler’s biological father, whose father didn’t want much to do with him. Tyler’s mother was given the maiden name HANSON. I wanted Patrice to change OUR daughter’s surname to PRESCO. What you have is a female lineage. I believe this comes from the Hippie period, where some women believed women were more empowered by the goddess, than males empowered by God. Those EXPERIMENTAL days are over. Ryan never married my daughter. There is no marriage certificate. Why should Holly Hunt’s name be attached to my famous family?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_Rosamond
I am sure Patrice and Holly have seen all the commercials for Ancestry.com. I know Patrice has a very abusive father. How about Holly? I can find no mention of these fathers on their facebook. Indeed, I was shocked to see there was no photo of my grandson by himself on Ryan and Patrice’s facebook. I did find solo pics of Malcolm, David’s son, whose father was a Black Panther who died in a fire. David did not know this un-named man. There is a great interest in the name Black Panther and a mythical race of people. Malcolm was named after Malcolm X. Malcolm and Tyler are cousins. David and Malcolm are in my family rosy tree. Malcolm is found with Royal Rosmonnd and William Rose, who was sent to America as a indentured slave. I have referred to my grandfather as a Foundling because he was sent to work for an uncle after his mother Ida died. He speaks of his servitude in his writing.
Royal had four daughters. I am sure he wanted a son. I never met him. I am going to write a story of our lineage, from William, to Royal, to John, to TYLER WILLIAM ROSE. I am established a legacy that Tyler’s children and grandchildren can – behold! There is so much American history in the ROSAMOND family that I am sure my great-grandchildren would enjoy and benefit by! Royal says his four beautiful daughter’s keep him writing. He is saying these are his Rosy Muses. I now understand all the women in my family knew I needed a family member to write – for – and thus excluded me, and, took my offspring.
These adults, Holly Hunt, Patrice Hanson, and Ryan Hunt, knew about the attempt to get my minor daughter in the rival biography of my late sister, the world famous artist, CHRISTINE ROSAMOND BENTON. I am sure they do not wanted to be associated with the destructive story that Snyder and Stacey published. I do not want my grandson, nor my great-grandchildren to read that book. I want them to read to read………
‘The Adventures of Tyler Rose’
Consider this a pen name. Has any child in history been given a pen name? Tyler may be the first! It’s time to set the Family Literary Legacy in stone!

ROYAL ROSAMOND PRESS
My grandfather was a Newspaperman – of sorts! He sold 400 copies of The Oklahoman, and 200 copies of the Oklahoma Times, at his newspaper stand in Oklahoma City. He tutored young people in poetry and had plans to build a Poet’s retreat on the Buffalo River. The Ozark Historian, Otto Rayburn, was supportive of this.
It is the objective of my newspaper to restore the dream of these two men who published their own magazine. Rayburn published ‘Arcadian Life’, and Royal’s Gem Publishing, published ‘Bright Stories’. Royal also published one novel under ‘R.R. Rosamond Publishing’ founded in 1931 in Ventura where it was printed.
Above you see letters sent to Royal, and two books he published. Rosamond’s poems are here, along with photos of his daughters, and his friends who were writers, camping on Santa Cruz Island.

My grandfather, Royal Rosamond, was encouraged to take up writing by Jack and Fanny Cory, tow creative siblings not unlike I and my sister, the world famous artist known as Rosamond.
The Channel Islands remind me of the Isle of Wight where the poets Tennyson and Swineburne lived. It was Royal’s dream to found a retreat for poets. Both of these English poets were inspired by Fair Rosamond.
William Rose
Alas I have traced my grandfather’s mother, IDA LOUISIANA ROSE, to WILLIAM ROSE, who sailed for Cowes Isle of Wight, with William Penn. William and his wife, Jane Sarah Ridgway, landed in Philadelphia in December 3, 1699. They sailed on the Canterbury, perhaps the most important ship that sailed the waters of the Isle of Wight.
Alas, the TWO ROSES are joined in my ROSY FAMILY TREE. This makes my family one of the foremost PATRIOTIC AMERICAN FAMILIES in history. We fought off pirates to arrive here, so we could practice RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.
In my mother’s name ROSEMARY ROSAMOND, the FAMILY ROSES are united. Here is a TRUE ROSELINE that I will design a cote of arms for, and get registered. This English Rose were Quakers. ROYAL ROSAMOND married MARY MAGDALENE. whose kindred fled religious persecution in Germany.

By 1850 Benjamin had sold his South Carolina property whoich was located somewhere near the Mulberry Creek/Saluda River area. He divided the profit with his sons and was living near his brother Samuel in Atalla County, Mississippi. In the same time period his other brother Thomas and all his sons except Thomas and Joseph were also in Mississippi. In 1850 Benjamin was listed in the Mississippi census as owning 9 slaves and being married to Jane. Census Ed. 126, 495/495.
in Rosamond Jr., R255, M. Born ca 1814 in South Carolina. Occupation: Farmer.
According to tBenjamhe birth dates of the children, Benjamin and Elizabeth probably came to Mississippi between 1837 and 1839. In 1850 they were living next door to Richard and Mary Hodges. Ruth Menhel speculates that Elizabeth was a Hodges.
In 1850 census they are listed in Choctaw County, MS. In 1860 they are shown on the census for Pontotoc County, MS.
William and Canzada came to Mississippi sometime between 1847-1849. Theya re listed on the 1850 census as living near William’s father Benjamin Rosamond and his uncle Samuel Rosamond. In 1860 they are listed in the Choctaw County, MS census. William served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War (1861-1865). After the war they moved briefly to Arkansas, they went on to Texas around 1866 according to a letter I (Jimmy D. Rosamond) received from Myrtle Beatrice Rosamond Tanner Hyde in 1995. The story as told in this letter is repeated below. Myrtle is the granddaughter of William and Canzada.
“William A. Rosamond and his wife Canzada (Coleman) Rosamond and their six sons and other members of the Rosamond Family came from Kosciusko, Attala County, Mississippi, where his parents owned a plantation on Big Black River. They came here in covered wagons in 1866 and experienced all the hardships on the way – wild animals and other threats to their lives.
about 23 years old at the tme.
“Dress as well as conduct came to church attention as shown by the April 1834 report. ‘Three of our yong members, Thomas Rosamond, M. Henderson and Charles Hodges were seen at an election ground and among the mixed multitude with coats off and sleeves rolled, and in hostile array, a sorowful sight to see Emanuel’s soldiers parading in and enemy’s camp, they being the case. The three brothers came forward and confessed their sorrow for such conduct, stating that they had no design in being stripped but to get their friends, whom they were afraid would be abused, out of the fray and that they had no intention of fighting, only to save their friends. The moderator arose and gave them a friendly admonition and retained them in full fellowship.’”
