Above are photos of Wolfswinkle House, a watermill in Holland owned by the Rosemont family. Is that Wolf Van Winkle and his dog, Wolf? Our cote of arms says “Van Duke of the Woods”.

This morning I awoke and realized I am the embodiment of Deidrich Knickerbocher. Three days ago I booked a flight to go see my dear friend ‘The Cat Lady of Greenwhich Village. We have not lay eyes on each other in forty two years. We were lovers in 1967. We lived in a large Victorian in Oakland, and were banished to a mountain, when we could not resist one another. She had come to my little room on the third floor, put her head on my stomach, and bid me to tell her a story. Ten seconds later, I am pouring out a fairytale which I titled ‘Tristan Tonopoly The Keeper of the Forest’.
