‘Killer Body’

Rena knew she had a Killer Body before I did. When we saved her at 3:00 A.M. and brought her into the light, we were shocked at how beautiful she was. She was astonishing. Christine studied her, intensely, and did not speak. After school, she used to bring these beautiful young woman home to meet me. I got good press from my sister. Then, she became the famous artist ‘Rosamond’.  I believe there was talk about they being my model.

I was very protective of Christine. I did not jump her friend’s bones. I was a respectful poet who searched for inspiration. My famous sister was privy to this creativity I shared with the women in my life. The idea that Pierrot’s second ghost writer puts forth, that Rosemary was in charge of passing out the Creative Gifts amongst her children, is vile and ludicrous. At Christine’s funeral, Stacey Pierrot approached my mother, got down on one knee, and took her hand. Looking up, she pleaded;

“Don’t let ‘The Dream die!”

This was done for my benefit. I was set up after being kept from the meeting the day before. I suspect Rosamond’s mother was shown part of Christine’s autobiography that had to contain first hand accounts of Rosemary’s extreme abuse. The outsiders needed our mother’s blessing. She needed two of her children – to shut up! Pierrot did just that!

Christine drowned on her first sober birthday. I had seven years sobriety. We were going to AA meetings and telling family secrets to total strangers, to………………….outsiders! Rosemary wanted outsiders – on her side! Stacey and Rosemary shook hands in front of me. Then, after the Rose if dead, Pierrot and her ghost writer, Tom Snyder, shit all over our mother, and Christine! This is why I wanted to find Rena, our muse so she would be the cornerstone – of our story!
