I Will Stop New Temple

1 Samuel 10:5

5 Afterward you will come to [a]the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is; and it shall be as soon as you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and a lyre before them, and they will be prophesying.

Is this the temple mount where the Philistine’s have put armed guards? Why? Are they there to prevent the Israelites from performing a religious function, such as erecting the Tabernacle, the house for the Ark of the Covenant?

When I read this passage twenty three years ago, I had a vision of LONG-HAIRED angels. Why are these musicians – prophets? I then considered rock-and roll stars who are prophets in their own right.
