A Creative Reconciliation

Henry Miller, Ken Kesey, Royal Rosamond gathered groups of writers together. What is the major project and theme? If you read books, you live forever. The Buck Institute claims they have longevity up a tree that Rip Van Winkle sleeps beneath.

I just had a wonderful talk with Erik Nicolaisen about the Kesey mural and my critiques in this blog. I found Erik open, insightful, and very helpful in answering questions. We arrived at what I title a ‘Creative Reconciliation’.

the act of causing two people or groups to become friendly again after an argument or disagreement

: the process of finding a way to make two different ideas, facts, etc., exist or be true at the same time

Most of the creative questioning goes on in the mind of the creator. We beg for feedback, and are always prepared to argue our case. This process makes us crazy, as it should, because we are in relationship with our muse. If you are not an advocate for your muse, then get out of business of being creative.
