The white rose on the banner that Death does wave, is the same white rose that the Fool is waving in his left hand as he steps off a cliff into the abyss. When I fell, I put a deep gash in my left hand, that kept me from going over the edge. High on LSD, with my feet dangling over the edge, I looked a hundred feet below at sea lions on a rock. I did not have the power to haul myself to safety. I considered the truth that these sea creatures would witness my death, my fall. Who would have thunk it, that I would die this way, just a piece of flotsam in a grand kingdom, that knows death, every second of the day. somewhere, below, a big fish is eating a little fish.
