I was born October 8, 1946 at 6:02 P.M. just as the sun set in Oakland California. Though the Draconid star shower did not peak till the next day, the nurses were bidding Rosemary to come to the window and look in amazement. She was too spent.
Two men who invaded Wales took the name Drago, which means ‘dragon’. King Henry 1 took Nest Rhys as his mistress. I am looking at Rosamond Clifford being the daughter of Rhys royalty, she exchanged with her brother in a peace treaty King Henry 11 made with the King of Wales.
I suspect Elijah conducted a battle of magic with the prophets of Baal. There were balls of fire over Los Angeles.
The Muslims claim they discovered America before Columbus. The Welsh ruler Madoc got here first. Did members of the Rhys family come with? Were any beautiful women on board. ISIS treats women very badly. Need I say I take the Muslim claim, and cast it down. Erdogen, the Muslim leader of Turkey, claims a Muslim sailor got here in 1178. Sorry Charlie! Madoc and my Welsh kindred got here in 1170.
Madog was fleeing the strife in Wales. His father fought King Henry 11 whose mistress was Rosamond Clifford, the granddaughter of Drago.

Another Gwenllian (circa 1178 – 1236) married Ednyfed Fychan, seneschal of Gwynedd under Llywelyn the Great, and through her, Rhys became an ancestor of the Tudor dynasty. Through the Tudors inter-marrying with the House of Stuart Rhys is an ancestor to the current ruling house of the United Kingdom and also an ancestor of several ruling houses in Europe. When Henry Tudor landed in Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1485 to make a bid for the throne, his descent from Rhys was one of the factors which enabled him to attract Welsh support (Henry flew a (Welsh) dragon banner at the battle of Bosworth Field).[65]

In 1933 and 1946, the Draconids produced thousands of meteors an hour. These two meteor storms were among the most impressive in the 20th century, rivaling the great Leonid Meteor Storm of 1966. On October 8, 2011 the Draconid Meteor Shower produced an impressive 1000 meteors per hour.

6 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37 Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.” |
38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.
39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”
40 Then Elijah commanded them, “Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!” They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there.
41 And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” 42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.
43 “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked.
“There is nothing there,” he said.
Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.”
44 The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”
So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’”
45 Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel. 46 The power of the Lord came on Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.
Madoc or Madog ab Owain Gwynedd was, according to folklore, a Welsh prince who sailed to America in 1170, over three hundred years before Christopher Columbus‘s voyage in 1492.[1] According to the story, he was a son of Owain Gwynedd, and took to the sea to flee internecine violence at home. The “Madoc story” legend evidently evolved out of a medieval tradition about a Welsh hero’s sea voyage, to which only allusions survive. However, it attained its greatest prominence during the Elizabethan era, when English and Welsh writers wrote of the claim that Madoc had come to the Americas as an assertion of prior discovery, and hence legal possession, of North America by the Kingdom of England.

Richard Fitz Pons[1] (c. 1080 – 1129)[2] was an Anglo-Norman nobleman, active as a marcher lord on the border with Wales.
He is described as a follower of Bernard de Neufmarche, and probably first builder of Bronllys Castle.[3] He started construction at Llandovery Castle[4] in 1116.[5]
His father was Pons fitz Pons.[6][7]
He married Matilda Fitz Walter (died after 1127), daughter of Walter Fitz Roger, sheriff of Gloucester, and Bertha de Ballun.[8] Walter de Clifford was one of their four children.[9][10]
Richard was the heir of Drogo fitz Pons and Walter fitz Pons, both mentioned in the Domesday Survey. He is now taken to be their nephew.[11] They had lands in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Pinxton in Derbyshire, Glasshampton in Worcestershire[12][13]
He was a son of Drogo (or Dru) de Ballon and was accompanied to England by his brothers, Wynebald de Ballon (or Winebald de Ballon), and Wynoc. “Three of the name, the sons of Drogo de Baladon, Hamelin, Wynoc, and Wynebald (the Guinebaud de Balon of the Dives Roll) came to England with the Conqueror. Hamelin received vast grants in Wales and Cornwall, and built a strong castle at Abergavenny, now”.[4] It is not known if he was present at the Battle of Hastings in 1066, but he and his brothers certainly came to England with the Conqueror.

Muslims discovered the Americas more than three centuries before Christopher Columbus, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.
He made the claim during a conference of Latin American Muslim leaders in Istanbul, pointing to a diary entry in which Columbus mentioned a mosque on a hill in Cuba.
Mr Erdogan also said “Muslim sailors arrived in America in 1178″.
He said he was willing to build a mosque at the site Columbus identified.
The Turkish president – whose AK Party is rooted in political Islam – gave no further evidence to back up his theory, instead stating: “Contacts between Latin America and Islam date back to the 12th Century.”
Controversial article
Columbus is widely believed to have discovered the Americas in 1492, while trying to find a new route to India.
But in a disputed article published in 1996, historian Youssef Mroueh said Columbus’ entry was proof that Muslims had reached the Americas first and that “the religion of Islam was widespread”.
However many scholars believe the reference is metaphorical, describing an aspect of the mountain that resembled part of a mosque.
No Islamic structures have been found in America that pre-date Columbus.
