Today is International Woman’s Day that has its root in the Communist May Day celebration. For two years my reader has seen me delve into the symbolism of Pan’s Labyrinth. I have arrived at the center of maze. Yesterday I looked at the women fighters of the MLKP. This is a Marxist group that models itself  the International Brigade that fought fascism in the Spanish Civil War. This is the Maquis who we see at the end of the movie who take the baby from fascist captain. The Maquis also fought against the Vichy government that was led by the kindred of my dear friend Virginia who is kin to French and Spanish royalty. I have connected her to the Labyrinth Prophecy.
