Religious-right Attacks Women – Again!

For twenty-eight years I have gone out on a limb in declaring war against the Christian-right. I became a Biblical scholar to do this. To be attacked by my muse and The Ugly Lesbian Brigade, is an attack on The Lost Power And Beauty of Women that Christian-Judaism, along with Islam, has been destroying for three thousand years! It is a tag-team! There are very few individuals that have taken the time to learn their core issues in regards to their desire to destroy Secular Society and the Civil Rights Movement. Most Gay Men, Lesbians, Leftists, and Blacks do not know their agenda, and how to fight them. From my viewpoint the world has become exceedingly UGLY&IGNORANT. Religious fanatics are arming themselves with guns and self-righteous laws. Instead of getting friends and allies, I get more UGLY ENEMIES!

Royal Rosamond Press has been on the frontline in the Cultural Warfare the Christian-right wages against Secular Art and Culture. I am not interested in being politically correct. The abortion issue was INVENTED in order to counter the Peace and Civil Rights Movement by proving the Left is really not FOR Human Rights, and, is not preaching Non-Violence! The Left conspires to deprive the un-born of basic human rights – by murdering them – is their message. This is exactly the kind of Big Lie that Ugly Red State Neo-Confederate Morons called for, USING Jesus as their LEGAL TRICKSTER!

To read that 80% percent of American voters OWN an opinion on abortion, is sickening! To give your moral opinion, as if this is what Jesus WANTS, is Orwellian. The correct answer,  is…….

“None of your business!”

If a pollster called you and asked “Are people who masturbate more then ten times a month, morally depraved?” and you give your opinion – YOU ARE MENTALLY ILL!

Palin first told ABC News, while serving wild boar chili on Thursday to the homeless in Las Vegas, that she is interested in the 2016 presidential election.

“Of course, when you have a servant’s heart, when you know that there is opportunity to do all you can to put yourself forward in the name of offering service, anybody would be interested,” Palin said.

On Friday, she told The Washington Post: “You can absolutely say that I am seriously interested. … As I said yesterday, I’m really interested in the opportunity to serve at some point.”

The Christian-right attempted to enslave the women in this democracy because they are countering the vote of the white male in the red states, especially those states that seceeded from the Union and made war against America employing terrorism. To threaten women with arrest after calling them baby-killers, is the same tacitic used down South to keep blacks in their place.

In the movie ‘Lincoln’ we see the powerful Radical Republican, Thadeus Stevens, defying the pro-slaery laws in the South. After the Civil War, he and other radicals put blacks in office in order to rule over Traitors. The radicals wanted these violent turncoats and parasites to take the Iron Clad Oath.

The Christian-right would want women to take an oath they would never seek an abortion. To make laws that make all women in this democracy suspected out-laws – in the name of Jesus – is a great threat to any democracy!

Because the Christian religion is no longer All Inclusive as its founder planned, I hereby in the name of God, declare it a Dead Religion – and abolish it!

In the course of one of the sessions, Weyrich tried to make a point to his Religious Right brethren (no women attended the conference, as I recall). Let’s remember, he said animatedly, that the Religious Right did not come together in response to the Roe decision. No, Weyrich insisted, what got us going as a political movement was the attempt on the part of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to rescind the tax-exempt status of Bob Jones University because of its racially discriminatory policies.

Bob Jones University was one target of a broader attempt by the federal government to enforce the provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Several agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, had sought to penalize schools for failure to abide by antisegregation provisions. A court case in 1972, Green v. Connally, produced a ruling that any institution that practiced segregation was not, by definition, a charitable institution and, therefore, no longer qualified for tax-exempt standing.

The mandatory ultrasound bill, introduced by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) and co-sponsored by 10 Republican men, compels women to “receive an ultrasound and the opportunity to review the ultrasound before giving informed consent to receive an abortion.”

One of the other bills prohibits federal education funds from going to schools with access to an abortion provider on campus, and the other requires states to report information on Medicaid payments to abortion providers.

Oklahoma Republican state Rep. Sally Kern has introduced three bills targeting gay people. Were all three to become law it would be nearly impossible for members of the LGBT community to safely exist in the Sooner State.

HB1599, the Preservation and Sovereignty of Marriage Act, would literally defund same-sex marriage.

“No employee of this state and no employee of any local governmental entity shall officially recognize, grant or enforce a same-sex marriage license and continue to receive a salary, pension or other employee benefit at the expense of taxpayers of this state,” the bill reads. “No taxes or public funds of this state shall be spent enforcing any court order requiring the issuance or recognition of a same-sex marriage license,” it adds.

Kern, who invokes religion frequently and penned a book titled The Stoning of Sally Kern: The Liberal Attack on Christian Conservatism–and Why We Must Take a Stand, labels the need for her law an “emergency.”

“It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.”

Her second bill attacking gay people is the Freedom to Obtain Conversion Therapy Act. HB1598 is aimed at ensuring parents are legally enabled to force their children to undergo therapy based on junk science and religion that most major medical organizations have labeled harmful, dangerous, and ineffective.

“The people of this state have the right to seek and obtain counseling or conversion therapy from a mental health provider in order to control or end any unwanted sexual attraction, and no state agency shall infringe upon that right,” it reads. “Parents may obtain such counseling or therapy for their children under eighteen (18) years of age without interference by the state.”

Ex-gay, reparative, or conversion therapy is known to cause depression and may increase the risk of suicide.

Kern’s third bill, HB1597, would allow broad discrimination encoded into the law. A take on the increasingly popular Religious Freedom Restoration Acts that are sweeping the country in the wake of legalized same-sex marriage, Kern’s legislation specificaly targets LGBT people for discrimination.

“No business entity shall be required to provide any services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods or privileges related to any lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender person, group or association,” it reads.

Under Kern’s bill, anyone can discriminate against LGBT people for any reason at all, or for no reason at all.

An LGBT person could literally be shunned by their entire town, unable to purchase food, rent or buy a home, buy a car, gasoline, insurance, clothing, or even electricity. They could find no doctor in their town will provide medical attention. If an LGBT person were to have a heart attack, a private ambulance service or EMT could legally refuse to assist or take him or her to the hospital. That hospital, if private, could legally refuse them service under Kern’s law.

Kern has a long history of targeting and attacking the LGBT community. She has characterized gays as “dangerous,” “sinful,” and as “an enemy who wants to destroy us,” and said gays have hijacked freedom and equality “to destroy the future of America.” She has claimed that gays and homosexuality are “more dangerous” than terrorists and labeled same-sex marriage “debauchery.” Kern in 2011 was officially rebuked for racist and misogynistic comments he made on the House floor.

“I never thought I would see the day that the Tea Party-led House of Representatives would wake up to the fact that their priorities — outright abortion bans — are way out of touch with the American people,” NARAL’s president, Ilyse Hogue, said in a statement. “The GOP drafted a bill so extreme and so out of touch with the voters that even their own membership could not support.”

The ultrasound measure is likely to be the most controversial. Nearly half of U.S. states have passed some kind of mandatory ultrasound bill, but the political backlash in some of those states has been significant.

In Pennsylvania, for instance, former Gov. Tom Corbett (R) sparked national outrage when he defended the state’s mandatory ultrasound bill by telling women, “You just have to close your eyes.” He lost to Democratic challenger Tom Wolf in 2014 after women’s rights advocates brought up his comment every time his name was mentioned.

Virginia, too, became “the laughingstock of the nation” in 2012 when Republicans introduced a mandatory ultrasound bill that would have involved an invasive transvaginal procedure. Former Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) later lost his gubernatorial race, in large part due to his outspoken support for the anti-abortion bill, which critics compared to “state-sponsored rape.”
