Covered wagons are patriotic symbols of being homeless in the wilderness. They were portable churches where one prayed that all is well that ends well.

I posted this on my blog the day I met Belle at the Wandering Goat on April 19, 2014. I wanted to show her my work with the homeless and saving Ken Kesey’s cottage his lived in while he went to the UofO. I told her I was at the second meeting of OCCUPY that SLEEPS broke off from. She had nothing to say. She had been arrested with SLEEPS activist along with a lawyer who champions the homeless. Surely we would have made a great team. She could introduce me to another lawyer that is on their side. Why did Belle Burch CONCEAL our connections?
