President Sinks The Bullshit

I saw this coming in my post of the USS Constitution and Cayman Pirates. Folks are saying Obama sunk Mitt’s battleship that was hauling manure out of the Cayman Island. All Obama needs is one good ship, and a few good men – plus a real prophet!

The president’s “horses and bayonets” remark was the most discussed and perhaps the most remarkable, but he didn’t stop there. In the same exchange, Obama also explained to Romney that the nation has “these things called aircraft carriers, where planes land on them,” and “these ships that go underwater” that are called — you guessed it — nuclear submarines.

President Barack Obama mocked Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Monday for his repeated attack over the size of the Navy, which he has said proves the president doesn’t prioritize national defense.
“You mention the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets,” Obama said during the final presidential debate. “We have these things called aircraft carriers and planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines.”
“It’s not a game of battleship where we’re counting ships, it’s ‘What are our capabilities?’” he said.
He said his administration sits down with the military forces, including heads of the Navy, to discuss what resources they need.
CORRECTION: — This article was updated to correct the final quote, which mistakenly said Obama referred to “priorities” rather than “capabilities.”
