I suspect John and Jesus were calling to the Lost Sheep of Israel, and their flocks, to come home and do battle with the degenerate Roman Slavemaster that are alive and well amongst the evangelical neo-Confederates in the Red States of Satan. The war for God’s Temple – was a world war! The Children of God lost that war – but will not lose the next one!
Queen Beatrix and her family are of the House of Orange and the only folks now allowed to be Swan Brethren. My kindred, Sergeant Rosamond, rode with William of Orange, and his kin, Bennett Rosamond, was Grand Master of the Orange Order in Canada! He descends from members of the Swan Brethren.
Below is an essay by former Orangeman that puts down the Orange Lodge, but, reveals much.
Bennett Rosamond (May 10, 1833 – May 18, 1910) was a Canadian manufacturer and politician.
Born in Carleton Place, Upper Canada, the eldest son of James Rosamond and Margaret Wilson, Rosamond was educated at the grammar school in Carleton Place. He was president and managing director of the Rosamond Woollen Company and vice-president and managing director of the Almonte Knitting Company. He was Reeve and Mayor of Almonte. He was first elected to the Canadian House of Commons in a 1891 by-election for the riding of Lanark North. A Conservative, he was re-elected in 1896 and 1900.
In 1825, in the village of Fenagh in county Leitrim in Ireland, a
gang of Catholic youths attacked the Rosamond home. The Rosamonds were
staunch Protestants. James, aged 20 (born 1805) and his brother Edward, aged
15, attempted to protect their mother. A shot was fired by Edward and a
youth was dead. The boys fled to Canada. James went to Merrickville where he
worked for James Merrick as a weaver. Edward, still fearing arrest, worked
his way eventually to Memphis, Tennessee.
They were also the setting for social events which brightened the lives of Almonte people, such as the Masonic Ball held at Cole’s Hotel in January, 1868 when the hall was decorated with evergreens and mirrors which reflected the swirling crinolines of the dancers. The annual suppers given to their employers by the male employees of Rosamond’s Woolen Company were sometimes held at Cole’s Hotel. After a copious supper the evening consisted of toasts and speeches interspersed with songs and music, often provided by the Almonte Brass Band.
One year Bennett Rosamond did say that he regretted that the girls, the bulk of his work force, could not participate in these suppers but apparently it proved too difficult to accommodate them and the female employees had to be content with the company’s annual excursions.
The Orange Order in Relation to Anglo-Israel
By Professor E.Odlum, MA, BSc.
Let us look at this article attributing the beliefs and practices of the Orange Order to that of British Israelism. As we know, British Israelism has held a tremendous influence within the Orange family throughout the globe. As you will see in this article, British Israelism is refuted by the wild and fanciful claims of its own advocates.
Many years before I joined the Orange Order I was a confirmed believer in and a devoted propagandist of British Israelism. Imagine my surprise, even consternation, when, during my several initiatory steps, I found myself faced with a most important presentation. At every turn as I passed through the degrees, I was intensifyingly forced to the belief that I was and am an Israelite.
Further yet. The ceremonies and vows are of such character that it was impossible for me to advance through the several steps unless I accepted the irresistible conclusion that I was and am a blood-descended child of Abraham and the other patriarchs. Perhaps, I took in the full significance the more readily and joyfully because I had given much previous study to British-Israelism. No man of thought and perception on earth could go through the degrees of the Orange Order, as I have done, without being a pronounced believer in our descendent from the House of Israel.
In a paper, like this, it is rather unfortunate that I am not permitted to specify more in detail that which all advanced Orangemen know and understand as the result of initiation (view Orange degrees in full). Doubtless many Orangemen, of less thought and study, have not put a name to their belief coming from their ceremonies of introduction to the various degrees. A child knows pain when it has no word for pain. A rose gives out sweet perfume to man and animals alike, though they may or may not have words to express their sensations. In like manner, tens of thousands of Orangemen have become undoubted believers in our much-loved teaching, long before they heard of British Israelism. But as with the child and pain, so with the hundreds of thousands of Canadian Orangemen who have taken only a few of the degrees; they are permanent believers. I have had the pleasure, privilege and great responsibility of speaking to many hundreds of Orangemen in Canada on this subject. In every case I have found that it required but little explanation and no argument to discover that as soon as the language was given and the terms explained my audiences would rise practically to a man and manifest appreciation of the belief and facts.
I now affirm, as a matter of knowledge, that practically every strongly intelligent Orangeman in the British Empire is a believer in Anglo Israel teaching, in general terms. He cannot be otherwise, or he has not understood or grasped the significance of his vows. Is not this statement of prime importance? I think this is the first time this affirmation has been given to the public for perusal.
Before closing, let me emphasise a few points. I do not hesitate to state that there is no important historic event in connection with the children of Israel from the days of Jacob and Joseph in Egypt, on through the wilderness journey, the entrance to the Promised Land, the great events in connection with Joshua, the Judges, Kings, Prophets, that is not outlined and detailed to the initiated. With this ever before Orangemen, there is necessarily a desire and tendency to be a better and truer man than if he had never joined the Order. In fact, the Orangeman has practically only two great outstanding lessons brought to his attention and to which he is bound. The one is the obligation he solemnly takes to stand for Protestantism and the other involves the avowance of his being an Israelite of the House of Joseph. By the first he binds himself to support with his life the throne of Great Britain, it being Protestant, and to stand for equal rights to all, and religious favours to no religio-political organisation. He stands for freedom of speech, of intellect, of conscience, and insists in no interference with his private or public worship. He stands for a national system of education so that the children of the entire nation and empire may grow into manhood as one body of men and women with similar views, ideals and patriotisms.
Thus, then, we have some three hundred thousand Orangemen in Canada who stand for the integrity of the Empire and therefore against annexation to the United States, and against every kind of trade relations that would tend towards annexation. And the loyal hundreds of thousands are in effect Anglo-Israelites in avowance and belief.
As Anglo-Israelites, the Orangemen of Greater Britain are a power of the highest efficiency in supporting Protestant England, a Protestant throne, and our Ten tribed Israelitish identity. Therefore, it would be well and of great value to Orangeism, Protestantism, Anglo-Israelism, and to British Royalty, if the ten thousands of British Israelites could manage in some definite and effective way to relate themselves to the Orange Order. As a matter of fact, here in Canada most of the Anglo-Israel Intelligent support comes from the Orange Order.
I have a suggestion to make to the British public, and especially to Identity believers. It is this: Let some of the very strongest and wisest Anglo-Israelites in Great Britain join the Orange Association, and pass through the whole of the degrees. In doing so they need not be turned aside by what most fraternal societies indulge in on the side; I mean in a certain sort of amusement which the younger members of all these societies engage in as a pastime and a sort of boyish side-play. These are only harmless incidentals along the journey from one degree to another. They form no part of the serious and historical initiation, and can be passed over without too much magnification. Now, if such men as the above do as I say they will find my words true, and find an avenue to the heart, sympathy and ready help of scores of thousands who are not in an effective manner related to the propagation and spread of British Israel truth.
Such splendid men as are writing to the BANNER, Covenant People and other important periodicals and who are lecturing on our identity up and down the British Islands would, if connected with the Orange Order, find the less thoughtful and studious of the Orangemen to see more clearly their true position and the priceless inheritance given us. God’s Israel, by the Almighty for the purpose of making good his promises to our fathers the patriarchs. Ours is a glorious, a marvellous heritage, and we should adopt every wise and workable method of forcing our views and beliefs before the whole Anglo-Saxon world. Our God gave unconditional promises long ago and “he who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.” I most seriously gave out the above suggestion and am hopeful; that it will be a seed sown in good ground, to spring forth into a part of the most glorious fruitage of 3000 years’ growth.
The Orange Order and British Israelism
“What art thou?
One of the elect!
Of what house?
The house of Israel!
Of what tribe?
The tribe of Levi!”
There can be no doubt that this catechism gives a false hope/assurance to every new Orange candidate. One wonders what biblical authority the Orange Order think they have for promising every Orangeman (saved and unsaved) that he is“one of the elect” simply on the grounds that he has joined the Lodge? To teach this error to unsaved men is dangerous and deeply unscriptural. It gives the ungodly a title and a hope that does not belong to them and offers them a false sense of assurance which Scripture clearly doesn’t allow. Isaiah 8:20 warns, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
The Orange poem “What are you?” reminds the Orangeman of his standing:
“Are you a loyal Orangeman and worthy of the name
Of William Prince of Orange, immortal honoured fame?
What is your daily practice, which is the part you play?
Do you respond to duties’ call and tread the narrow way?
Was it through love and loyalty that you a stranger came
To cross the rugged mountains in search of Jordan’s plain?
Where the waters stood divided and the chosen found a way
Was it to aid such principles you joined the grand array?
Was it for sake of earthly gain you joined the glorious throng
Of William Prince of Orange who conquered at the Boyne?
Do you accept the righteous robe that made all nations free
And care not for the principles that gained such liberty?
Do you uphold the principles for which our fathers died,
Or when the enemy is in view are you the one to hide?
Have you attained the golden steps, Faith, Hope, and Charity,
Or do you stand at Rome’s command to lap and bend the knee?
These are simple questions, to each your answer give
The world will prove its value by the life you try to live
If you’re a would be Orangeman then choose some other sect,
But if a worthy Orangeman you’re one of the elect.”
How can the word “elect” be attributed to an unsaved member, who is outside of salvation? This secret teaching is wrong and should be rejected.
Not happy with advancing a rogue assurance, it then indiscriminately elevate the candidate to the household of Israel and to the priestly tribe of Levi. How can you compare the sanctified priestly role of the tribe of Levi in the Old Testament to that of the Orange Order in our day.
It is hard to believe that a genuine Christian could accept that a candidate for the Lodge becomes “one of the elect” by joining the Orange Order. Moreover, it is startling to believe that he automatically becomes an Israelite and is then advanced to the priestly “tribe of Levi.” Such teaching is (1) fanciful, (2) a flagrant lie of the devil and (3) deeply unscriptural. No Christian should have any part of this secret body.
Scripture solemnly warns, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight” (Isaiah 5:20-21).
British Israelism permeates throughout Orange teaching. The Orange Order is of the opinion that it is a chosen people within a chosen nation. This belief is a cancer among the Ulster Protestant people. It engenders cultural pride, something that God judged Israel for in Bible times. Many within the Orders believe they are a superior race. They are better than everyone else. Christians know we are saved by grace not by race. They know that God blesses humility and sees the proud afar off. The Ulster Protestant people (like every other nationality) are separated from God before salvation. They are under the wrath of God. Such a condition is only changed by the new birth.
The Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland carried out a deep enquiry into the biblical credentials of the Loyal Orders and released their findings in an in-depth documemt called: “The Loyal Orders” A Biblical Examination. They concluded: “As believers in the Lord Jesus the brotherhood to which the people of God are bound is the brotherhood of other believers. The fellowship we are to delight in is fellowship with those who have ‘fellowship with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ’. (1 John1:3) This was a distinguishing feature of the life of the early church: ‘they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine, and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers’. (Acts 2:42) This brotherhood and fellowship is dependent upon, and flows from, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and the consequent presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit in the lives of those who know him as such.”
They continued: “The importance of this issue cannot be overstated for those who honour the Word of God. If 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 is rightly taught as prohibiting the unequal yoke in business, marriage and ecumenical relationships then balance, consistency and honesty demand that its implications with regard to the Loyal Orders cannot be ignored. The question must be faced, ‘Is it right for a child of God to bind himself/herself in a religious association with solemn promises and oaths to those who do not belong to the people of God and who in many cases are godless?’ The answer is self evident.”
